4. Move the unit slowly, holding on the targeted area or muscle group. Massage the area for a short
period of time and move to another area. NEVER massage the same spot longer than 3 minutes.
CAUTION – as stated in the IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS section of this manual, NEVER use
this appli ance on or near eyes or other highly sensitive areas of the body.
5. Operation of longer than 15 minutes is not recommended and may cause overheating.
6. When massage is completed, turn unit off, allow to cool, unplug the power cord and store properly
in a dry place.
NOTE ON COLD MASSAGE ATTACHMENT:
The Cold attachment should be placed in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours prior to use for opti-
mum performance. At room temperature, the Cold attachment will stay cold for up to 15 minutes of
continuous massage use. As the attachment gradually loses its frozen state over 15 minutes, gently
press around the edges of the cold gel surface to circulate the colder beads against skin.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. DO
NOT change the plug in any way.
1. This unit is powered by and comes equipped with a UL approved cord. ALWAYS make sure the unit
is set to the “OFF” position before inserting the plug into a 120-volt electrical outlet.
2. Massage: To activate Massage function, slide the bottom switch to “ON”. Slide the switch forward
(A) to increase massage intensity.
MASSAGE + HEAT:
Once massage function is on, press the HEAT button (B) to activate Heat.
NOTE: The Heat function can only be activated when the Massage function is in use.
NOTE: The Heat function will only activate when using the Thermal Heat attachment. Never use the
Heat Attachment if the housing is cracked or broken, or if the metal plate is loose, bent or separated
from housing.
NOTE: To eliminate the risk of being burned, do not use the heat continuously for more than 15 min-
utes. Do not use heat or cold massage if you have sensitive skin, poor circulation, discolored areas,
burned or inflamed skin, or where skin eruptions or sores are present. Heat and cold massage should
be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your
physician.

To change to a different attachment, simply pull down on attachment to remove (Fig. 1) from massage
shaft. To attach new massage head, align attachment groove with shaft groove (F, G, H only) and
press up (Fig. 2) until attachment “clicks” into position. Only use attachments provided by Homedics.
NOTE: Only (F), Thermal Heat massage attachment can be used for Heat function.
MAINTENANCE
TO CLEAN DEVICE
Be sure to unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe.
NEVER allow water or any liquids to come into contact with the device.
TO STORE
Unplug the device from the outlet and allow it to cool before storing in its box or a clean, dry place.
DO NOT hand the unit by the power cord.
Please Note: The heat option will only work while a massage feature is selected.
Caution: All servicing of this unit must be performed by authorized HoMedics service
personnel only.

HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of two years
from the date of original purchase, except as noted below. HoMedics warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and
workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.
To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, contact a consumer relations representative for assistance. Please make sure to
have the model number of the product available.
HoMedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a
Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate HoMedics in any way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage
caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation;
unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage
of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism;
or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any
other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that
requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured,
approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OFMERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE
PART OF THE COMPANY WITHRESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. HOMEDICS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FORANY
INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS WARRANTY REQUIRE MORE THAN THE REPAIR OR

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico, este artefacto tiene un enchufe polarizado (una hoja es
más ancha que la otra). Este enchufe encajará en un tomacorriente polarizado de una sola forma. Si el
enchufe no encaja completamente en el tomacorriente, invierta el enchufe. Si aún así no encaja, pón-
gase en contacto con un electricista calificado para instalar el tomacorriente adecuado. No modifique
el enchufe de ninguna manera.
1. El masajeador de percusión programable se alimenta con un cable aprobado por UL que se incluye.
Asegúrese SIEMPRE de que la unidad se encuentre con el interruptor en posición “OFF” antes de
inserir el enchufe en un tomacorriente doméstico de 120 voltios.
2. Masaje: para activar la función de masaje, deslice el interruptor inferior a la posición
“ON” (encendido). Deslice el interruptor hacia adelante (A) para aumentar la intensidad del masaje.
MASAJE + CALOR:
Una vez activada la función de masaje, presione el botón HEAT (CALOR) (B) para activar el calor.

Nunca use el accesorio para calor si la carcasa está rota o rajada; o si la placa de metal está suelta,
doblada o separada de la carcasa.
NOTA: para eliminar el riesgo de quemaduras, no use el calor en forma continua durante más de 15
minutos. No use masaje con calor o masaje frío si tiene piel sensible, mala circulación, áreas decolo-
radas, piel quemada o inflamada, o donde haya erupciones o llagas en la piel. El masaje con calor y
el masaje frío deben ser placenteros y confortables. Si provocan dolor o molestias, deje de usarlos y
consulte a su médico.
3. Aplique el accesorio masajeador suavemente sobre el área que desee masajear.
4. Mueva la unidad lentamente, sosteniéndola sobre el área o el grupo de músculos a tratar. Masajee el
área durante un breve período y luego cambie a otra área. NUNCA masajee en el mismo lugar duran-
te más de 3 minutos. PRECAUCIÓN: como se indica en la sección INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
IMPORTANTES de este manual, NUNCA use este artefacto en o cerca de los ojos u otras áreas muy
sensibles del cuerpo.
5. No se recomienda el funcionamiento durante más de 15 minutos ya que puede causar recalenta-
miento.
6. Una vez que ha finalizado el masaje, apague la unidad, deje que se enfríe, desenchufe el cable de
alimentación y guárdela adecuadamente en un lugar seco.
NOTA SOBRE EL ACCESORIO PARA MASAJE FRÍO:
El accesorio para masaje frío debe guardarse en el congelador durante un mínimo de 2 horas antes
de usarlo para lograr un óptimo rendimiento. A temperatura ambiente, el accesorio para masaje frío
permanecerá frío durante un máximo de 15 minutos de uso continuo. A medida que el accesorio pierda
gradualmente su estado de congelamiento en un período de 15 minutos, presione suavemente alred-

Para cambiar de accesorio, simplemente tire el accesorio hacia abajo para extraerlo (Fig. 1) del eje del
masajeador. Para colocar un nuevo cabezal masajeador, alinee la ranura del accesorio (sólo F, G, H) con
la ranura del eje y presione hacia arriba (Fig. 2) hasta que quede fijo en su posición con un clic. Use
únicamente los accesorios suministrados por Homedics.
NOTA: Para la función de calor, únicamente se puede usar el accesorio para masaje con calor térmico (F).
MANTENIMIENTO
PARA LIMPIAR:
Asegúrese de desenchufar la unidad y permita que se enfríe antes de limpiar. Utilice un paño suave,
apenas húmedo para repasar. Nunca permita que el agua ni cualquier otro líquido entre en contacto con
el mango.
PARA GUARDAR:
Desenchufe el artefacto y permita que se enfríe antes de guardarlo en su caja o en un lugar limpio y
seco. Enrolle el cordón y sujételo con el sujetador que se proporciona. No cuelgue la unidad del cable
de corriente.
Precaución: Todos los servicios a este masajeador podrán ser efectuados únicamente
por el personal de servicio autorizado de HoMedics.
