In case of incorrect installation, Lumileds declines all responsability for any harm or accident. m Warning Make sure the device is installed according to the instructions in this guide. 5 3 How to install Philips GoPure car air purifier in your car 3.1 Installation-placing under the car seat (recommended position) 1. Remove liner from the hook fastener. Avoid touching the adhesive side. 2. Paste the 2 strips hook fastener at the bottom of the device. 3. Plug in power adaptor to a 12V outlet in your car. Route the cable under your seat to the back. Keep the cable away from seat rails. m Warning For your safety, never position the device under the seat by sliding it from the front of the seat. Always slide it underneath from the back of the seat. Important : It is recommended to remove any surface contaminants that may reduce adhesion. Isopropyl alcohol is a good general use solvent for cleaning contaminants from surfaces for example. 6 4. Connect power cable to device and place it underneath the car seat from the back. 5. Press down the device for better attachment with the carpet. EN 3.2 Installation-using the headrest or armrest 3.3 Connection and operation 1 Connect the power cable to the device as shown. 1 Place the safety belt over the device as shown, with the furry surface facing the device. 2 You may install Philips GoPure car air purifier on any headrest or armrest of your car. Depending on your car model, you may install the device in various areas of your car, such as the armrest, headrest.Philips GoPure car air purifier may be installed in various positions: • horizontal • vertical (90°) Notice: 1 The safety harness may not be suitable to the armrest of all car models. 2 Unpack the filter before using m Warning For your safety, only use the equipment delivered in your package. Always park your car first! 7 4 Using GoPure car air purifier functions When the vehicle power supply is on, the device starts automatically in auto mode. 1 To turn on the device, touch the power button, the device will start running in auto mode with emitting a sound. 2 Touch the power button to switch the speed mode in sequence of auto, boost and silent. The power button will emit a sound while being pressed. 3 To turn off the device, hold down the power button for 2s until it emits a sound. 2s Understanding air quality indicatorr The air quality indicatorr shows the air quality inside your car at all times. Red >80 ug/m3 Yellow 41-80 ug/m3 Fair air quality Blue 0-40 ug/m3 Good air quality After the device is turned on, filter replacement reminder indicator will flash red. 5 Unhealthy air quality Replace filter Philips GoPure car air purifier-How filter works Philips GoPure Car air purifier is composed of a multi-layer filtration system that guarantees the most effective air-purification. All filter layers are assembled in one single simple-to-replace filter. m Important When the filter needs to be replaced, the filter replacement indicator will flash red for 30 seconds then remain red each time the device is turned on. Philips GoPure car air purifier indicates automatically when you must change the filters. Replace the filter immediately using only genuine Philips GoPure SelectFilter Plus. It helps maintain the maximal performance of your GoPure Car air purifier and helps to provide the purest air quality inside your car. 8 5.1 How to replace the filter 1 Disconnect GoPure car air purifier device. To reset your device after replacing the filter: 1 Plug the device into the power supply and ensure that it is turned off. 4 Using the groove,insert a new original GoPure filter. m Important The filter slides in only one way, do not force it in. See above. 2 Touch and hold the power button over 3s until it emits a sound, the filter replacement indicator is blinking in red for 15s, filter reset done once indicator turns off. 9 3 Car air purifier purifier operates in the normal mode once top cover is locked. 4 Repeat the above steps if the filter reset fails. m Important For you safety, GoPure car air purifier will shut down automatically whenever you open the top cover. 6 Philips GoPure car air purifier troubleshooting Problem 1 Philips GoPure Car air purifier does not start. Solution 1 • Verify that the 12V power supply is on. • Check the power connection and make sure the socket is properly inserted. • Make sure the top cover is pushed down to lock properly. • Press the power button again. If your device still does not restart, please contact your retailer. Problem 2 Some cars continue to power the 12V outlet when the engine is off. Solution 2 To avoid draining the battery, Philips GoPure car air purifier will automatically power off after two hours of continuous running. • To restart your device, press the power button. Problem 3 After filter replacement, Philips GoPure filter replacement indicator remains red at restart. Solution 3 The power button was not properly pressed. • Repeat the reset steps section 5.2. • If filter replacement indicator turns off, the device has been reset properly. Problem 4 The Philips GoPure motor stops running for a short while. Solution 4 This is normal: the device has a voltage protection. At times, the voltage supply from vehicle may vary and fluctuant, in these cases, the device will turn off automatically. Touch the power button to restart the device. Problem 5 Philips GoPure air quality indicatorr does not change for a very long time. Solution 5 It may simply indicate stable air quality. It may also indicate that the air intake slots are obstructed or polluted. • Make sure the air circulation around the device is free. • Restart the device.If the problem remains, please contact your retailer. Problem 6 Philips GoPure air quality indicatorr changes frequently. Solution 6 This is normal and the device is working properly. Rimuovi il rivestimento in velcro. Evita di toccare la pellicola adesiva. 2. Posiziona le 2 componenti in velcro sulla parte inferiore del dispositivo. 3. Inserisci il cavo 12 V nella presa della tua auto. Indirizza il cavo sotto la seduta verso il retro del sedile. Tieni i cavi distanti dalle guide scorrevoli dei sedili. m Attenzione Per la tua sicurezza non posizionare il dispositivo sotto il sedile facendolo scorrere da fronte a retro. Fallo scorrere sempre dal sedile posteriore. Importante: E’ raccomandabile pulire la superficie per facilitare l’adesione. L’alcool isopropilico è un ottimo solvente per la pulizia dell’area interessata. 14 4. Connetti il cavo al dispositivo e posizionalo sotto il sedile inserendolo dalla parte posteriore 5. Premere con forza il dispositivo per farlo aderire al tappeto. 3.3 Connessione e funzionamento 1 Connetti il dispositivo al cavo come in figura. 1 Posiziona la cintura di sicurezza sopra il dispositivo, come in figura, con la superficie soffice rivolta verso il dispositivo. 2 Puoi installare il purificatore d’aria Philips GoPure a qualsiasi poggiatesta o bracciolo presente nella tua auto. A seconda del tuo modello di automobile, puoi installare l’apparecchio in differenti aree, come per esempio il bracciolo o il poggiatesta. IT 3.2 Installazione utilizzando il poggiatesta o il bracciolo 4 Funzioni del purificatore d’aria per auto GoPure Quando il quadro dell’automobile è acceso, il dispositivo si accende automaticamente nella modalità silenziosa. 1 Per accendere il dispositivo, premi il tasto di accensione, il dispositivo si accenderà nella modalità silenziosa emettendo un segnale sonoro. 2 Premi il tasto di accensione per cambiare la modalità di utilizzo silenzioso e boost. Per resettare il tuo dispositivo dopo la sostituzione del filtro: 1 Collega il dispositivo alla corrente assicurandoti che sia spento. 3 Il purificatore d’aria inizierà a funzionare correttamente dal momento in cui la copertura frontale verrà chiusa. 4 Ripeti i punti sopracitati qualora l’avvio non avvenga con successo. m Importante Per la tua sicurezza il purificatore d’aria per auto GoPure si spegnerà automaticamente ogni volta che la copertura frontale del dispositivo viene aperta. 4 Inserisci all’interno della struttura il nuovo filtro originale GoPure. m Importante Il filtro è inseribile esclusivamente da un lato, non forzare l’inserimento. Consulta quanto riportato sopra. 2 Tieni premuto il tasto di accensione per almeno 3secondi finché non emette un suono, l’indicatore di sostituzione del filtro lampeggerà per 15secondi. Quando l’indicatore si spegne, l’attività sarà avvenuto con successo. 17 6 Purificatore d’aria per auto Philips GoPure risoluzione problemi Problem 1 Il purificatore d’aria per auto Philips GoPure non si accende. Problema 4 Philips GoPure smette di funzionare per un breve tempo. Soluzione 1 • Verificare che il quadro del veicolo sia acceso. • Controlla che il cavo del dispositivo sia inserito correttamente. • Verifica che la copertura frontale del dispositivo sia stata chiusa correttamente. • Prova nuovamente a premere il tasto di accensione. Se il dispositivo non riparte, contatta il tuo rivenditore. Soluzione 4 E’ normale poiché il dispositivo ha una protezione di tensione. Alcune volte la tensione provvista dall’autovettura può variare e fluttuare. In questi casi il dispositivo si spegnerà automaticamente. Premi il tasto di accensione per riaccendere il dispositivo. Problema 2 Alcuni veicoli continuano a erogare corrente alla presa 12 V anche a motore spento. Soluzione 2 Per evitare di scaricare la batteria, il purificatore d’aria Philips GoPure si spegnerà automaticamente dopo 2 ore di accensione continuata. • Per riaccendere il dispositivo, premi il tasto di accensione. Problema 3 Dopo aver sostituito il filtro, l’indicatore di sostituzione filtro lampeggia e il segnale permane quando riaccendo il dispositivo. Soluzione 3 Il tasto di accensione non è stato premuto correttamente. • Ripeti l’operazione di reset sezione 5.2 • Se la spia dell’indicatore del filtro si spegne, il dispositivo è stato resettato correttamente. Problema 5 L’indicatore della qualità dell’aria di Philips GoPure non cambia da molto tempo. Soluzione 5 E’ possibile semplicemente che la qualità dell’aria è stabile. Problema 6 L’indicatore della qualità dell’aria Philips GoPure cambia frequentemente. Soluzione 6 E’ normale, il dispositivo sta funzionando correttamente. Quando la qualità dell’aria è poco salutare, il dispositivo inizia il suo processo di pulizia. L’indicatore di qualità segnala il livello di salubrità nelle vicinanze del dispositivo. Qualche volta questo può provocare frequenti segnalazioni. Lascia che GoPure 18 svolga la sua funzione di filtrazione dell’aria. Non appena il processo di pulizia sarà terminato il relativo indicatore diventerà blu. Problema 7 Philips GoPure segnala la luce blu ma alcuni odori rimangono presenti.
