Setting up
Connections
Connect the AC adaptor to the unit by pressing the plug firmly.
Fasten the cord by hooking it.
Connect the AC adaptor to the power outlet.
Connect the telephone line cord for your external phone (not
supplied) to the unit ("LINE IN" port), then to the single-line
telephone jack (RJ11C) until you hear a click.
A DSL/ADSL filter (not supplied) is required if you have a DSL/ADSL
service.
Connect the supplied telephone line cord to the unit ("PHONE" port),
then connect to your external phone.

R This unit is Caller ID
compatible. To use Caller ID
features, you must subscribe to
a Caller ID service. Contact
your phone service provider for
details.
Caller ID features
W
hen an outside call is being
received, the caller information is
displayed.
Caller information for the last 50
callers is logged in the caller list
from the most recent call to the
oldest.
R If the unit cannot receive caller
information, the following is
displayed:
– “Out of area”: The caller
dials from an area which
does not provide a Caller ID
service.
– “Private”: The caller
requests not to send caller
information.
– “Long dist.”: The caller
makes a long distance call.
R If the unit is connected to a PBX
system, caller information may
not be properly received.

Talking Caller ID

his feature lets you know who is
calling without looking at the
display.
To use this feature, you must:
– subscribe to a Caller ID service
of your phone service provider.
– turn this feature on.
When caller information is
received, the unit announce the

provider.
R Name pronunciation may vary.
This feature may not pronounce

The unit can block calls:

R Depending on your external
phone, your phone may ring
once while caller information is
being received even if you
registered the phone number in
the call block list.
To disconnect the current call

– when an incoming call is being
received

Once a phone number has been

warranty period, there will be no charge for parts. This Limited Warranty excludes both
parts and labor for non-rechargeable batteries, antennas, and cosmetic parts (cabinet).

This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of a new product which was
not sold “as is”.

When shipping the unit, carefully pack, include all supplied accessories listed in the
Owner’s Manual, and send it prepaid, adequately insured and packed well in a carton box.

date information. Include a letter detailing the complaint, a return address and provide a

BE REQUIRED TO FURNISH A SALES RECEIPT/PROOF OF PURCHASE INDICATING
DATE OF PURCHASE, AMOUNT PAID AND PLACE OF PURCHASE. CUSTOMER WILL

Bloqueo de llamadas
La unidad puede bloquear llamadas:
– cuando recibe una llamada desde
un número de teléfono incluido en
la lista de bloqueo de llamadas
programada previamente (14000
elementos).
– mediante el almacenamiento de los
elementos deseados en la lista de
bloqueo de llamadas del usuario de
antemano (hasta 2000 elementos).
Nota:
R No aparecen los números
almacenados en la lista de bloqueo
de llamadas pro
gramada
previamente.
R Dependiendo de su teléfono
externo, su teléfono podría sonar
una vez mientras que la
información de la llamada está
siendo recibida incluso si usted

Instalación
Conexiones
Conecte el cable del adaptador de corriente oprimiendo firmemente el
enchufe.
Enganche el cable para sujetarlo.
Conecte el adaptador de corriente a la toma de corriente.
Conecte el cable de línea telefónica para el teléfono externo (no incluido) a
la unidad (puerto “LINE IN”) y después a la toma para una sola línea
telefónica (RJ11C) hasta que escuche un clic.
Se requiere un filtro DSL/ADSL (no incluido) si tiene servicio de DSL/ADSL.
Conecte el cable de línea telefónica incluido a la unidad (puerto “PHONE”) y
después al teléfono externo.
Nota:
R Use solo el adaptador de corriente alterna Panasonic PNLV226 que se
suministra.
