• The remote control is water-resistant only. If dropped into water,

it should be removed immediately. A remote control holder

is included to conveniently store your remote. Just dampen

the suction cup and attach to the wall or side of the bathtub.

• The remote is powered by two CR2032 3V batteries. For initial use,

you will need to insert the batteries. To insert or replace, use a coin

to turn the lock on back of remote. Take off cover and insert both bat-

teries, “+” side up. Set cover in place and turn to lock.

Timer Function:

• The bath mat has a timer function which allows you to choose from

15, 30 or 60 minutes.

• Press the TIMER button to activate the function, then select the

desired time by pressing the TIMER button until its corresponding

LED is illuminated.

•Timer can be used for both steady bubble massage and bubble

massage programs and can be operated by remote control.

Choose Bubble Massage Option:

•Your BubbleSpaElite offers you a choice of either steady massage

action or three massage programs as follows:

Steady Bubble Massage:

•Press the MASSAGE button on the control unit. The low strength

LED will automatically illuminate.

• The massage speed may be increased or decreased by

pressing the STRENGTH button repeatedly. The corresponding

LED for each strength level will illuminate when selected.

Bubble Massage Programs:

•Press the PROGRAM button on the control unit. The corresponding

LED will illuminate.

•You may choose any one of 3 programs by pressing the program

button until the desired program is selected. The speed may be

increased or decreased from low to high by pressing the SPEED

button repeatedly until the desired level is selected.

Installation Instructions

1. Remove the mat from its packaging and make sure all

necessary components are included: mat, remote control, hose

suction cup, control unit and hose (Fig. 1).

2. Be sure the control unit is unplugged and positioned on a sturdy surface

where it cannot fall or be pulled into the tub, preferably the floor.

3. To place the mat, first dampen tub surface with a slight amount

of water. This will help the adhesion of suction cups (on bottom

of mat) to bathtub floor (Fig. 2).

4. To connect the hose to the control unit, line up the arrow on the hose with

the unlock mark on the control unit. Insert the hose end (with raised

bead) into the control unit and turn counter clockwise to the lock position

(Fig. 3). The raised bead should be lined up with the channel when

inserted.

5. Insert the other end of the hose into the mat (Fig. 4). NOTE: Keep the

hose free from kinks which could constrict airflow.

6. Attach the hose to the side of the bathtub with the suction cup, which is

attached to the hose (Fig. 5). The suction cup will help to stabilize the

hose, and should be attached along the upper edge of the bathtub.

7. Plug unit into 120 volt electrical outlet.

Instructions for Use

Power:

•After plugging in the control unit, press the POWER button on the

control unit panel. The corresponding POWER LED will illuminate

(Fig. 6).

• Each function button on the control unit panel features a corresponding

LED, which will illuminate when in use.

Remote Control:

• All programming functions may also be utilized in a similar

fashion using the remote control.

BubbleSpa Care and Maintenance

Keep the BubbleSpaElite clean and clear of obstructions. Check

the intake area frequently for potential obstructions that could block air

or water flow, including lint and hair. Never store your BubbleSpa wet.

Storage

• After use, turn the control unit off. Drain the tub.

•To remove any remaining water inside the mat, lift mat, keeping the

hose attached and hold at an angle so water collects in the corner

(Fig. 8). Turn unit on and blow air through the mat for 30-45 seconds.

Towel dry outside of mat.

• After mat is completely dry, you can roll for storage.

Cleaning

• Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only

with a soft, slightly damp sponge.

NOTE: Do not use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene,

glass/furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.

• BubbleSpa mat should be disinfected periodically to keep it free from

bacteria. Disinfect with household cleanser once a week if used

several times a week. If used less frequently, disinfect after each

use.

• This product is not designed to be used in conjunction with any

soaps, gels, shampoos or the like. However, should this occur,

follow these next steps to insure the longevity of this product:

1. Disconnect hose from mat

2. Fill mat with fresh water, through hose inlet on mat (Fig. 9).

3. Empty water. Repeat several times until inside residue is removed.

4. Rinse outside of mat and sponge off to make sure all

residue is removed.

5. Follow draining instructions, as described under “Storage” section.

HoMedics, Inc., guarantees this product free from defects in material and

workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original purchase,

except as noted below.

This HoMedics product warranty does not cover damage caused by

misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized

accessory; alteration to the product; or any other conditions whatsoever

that are beyond the control of HoMedics. This warranty is effective only if

the product is purchased and operated in the USA. A product that

requires modification or adaptation to enable it to operate in any country

other than the country for which it was designed, manufactured,

approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these

modifications is not covered under warranty. HoMedics shall not be

responsible for any type of incidental, consequential or special damages.

All implied warranties, including but not limited to those implied

warranties of fitness and merchantability, are limited in the total duration

of two years from the original purchase date.

To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, either hand deliver

or mail the unit and your dated sales receipt (as proof of purchase),

postpaid, along with check or money order in the amount of $10.00

payable to HoMedics, Inc. to cover handling.

Upon receipt, HoMedics will repair or replace, as appropriate, your

product and return it to you, postpaid. If it is appropriate to replace your

product, HoMedics will replace the product with the same product or a

comparable product at HoMedics’ option. Warranty is solely through

HoMedics Service Center. Service of this product by anyone other than

HoMedics Service Center voids warranty.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have

additional rights which may vary from state to state. Because of individual

state regulations, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not

apply to you.

Instrucciones de instalación

1. Retire el colchón de su embalaje y asegúrese de que estén incluidos todos los

componentes necesarios: colchón, control remoto, ventosa para la manguera,

unidad de control y manguera (Fig. 1).

2. Asegúrese de que la unidad de control esté enchufada y ubicada sobre una

superficie firme donde no pueda caerse o ser tirada a la tina, preferiblemente

sobre el piso.

3. Para ubicar el colchón, primero humedezca la superficie de la tina con una

pequeña cantidad de agua. Esto ayudará a que las ventosas (ubicadas en la

parte inferior del colchón) se adhieran al piso de la tina (Fig. 2).

4. Para conectar la manguera a la unidad de control, alinee la flecha que se

encuentra en la manguera con la marca de destrabado en la unidad de con-

trol. Inserte el extremo de la manguera (que tiene el botón que sobresale) en

la unidad de control y gire hacia la izquierda a la posición de trabado (Fig. 3).

El botón que sobresale debe estar alienado con el canal cuando se introduce

la manguera.

5. Introduzca el otro extremo de la manguera en el colchón (Fig.4). NOTA:

Mantenga la manguera sin pliegues que puedan restringir el flujo de aire.

6. Adose la manguera a un lado de la tina con la ventosa que se encuentra

adjuntada a la manguera (Fig. 5). La ventosa ayudará a estabilizar la

manguera y debe ser fijada sobre el borde superior de la tina.

7. Enchufe la unidad en un tomacorriente de 120 voltios.

Energía:

• Después de enchufar la unidad de control, presione el botón POWER

(energía) del panel de la unidad de control. Se iluminará el LED de POWER

correspondiente (Fig. 6).

Control remoto:

•Todas las funciones de programación se pueden utilizar también de un modo simi-

lar usando el control remoto. Sin embargo, el control remoto no proporciona la ilu-

minación de un LED de las selecciones. Sólo la unidad de control proporciona la

iluminación de los LED.

• El control remoto es solamente resistente al agua. Si se cae al agua, debe ser reti-

rado de inmediato. Se incluye un soporte del control remoto para guardarlo con-

venientemente. Simplemente humedezca la ventosa y adóselo a la pared o el lado

de la tina.

• El control remoto funciona con dos baterías CR2030 de 3 voltios. Para el uso ini-

cial, necesitará colocar las baterías. Para introducir o reemplazar, use una moneda

para girar la traba en el reverso del control remoto. Quite la tapa e introduzca

ambas baterías, con el lado "+" hacia arriba. Coloque la tapa en su lugar y gire la

traba.

Función de cronómetro:

• El colchón para tina tiene una función de cronómetro que le permite elegir desde

15, 30 ó 60 minutos.

• Presione el botón TIMER (cronómetro) para activar la función, luego seleccione el

tiempo deseado presionando el botón TIMER hata que se ilumine su LED corre-

spondiente.

• El temporizador puede usarse para el masaje de burbujas constante o para los

programas de masajes de burbujas, y puede operarse por control remoto.

Elija la opción "Bubble Massage" (masaje de burbujas):

• Su BubbleSpaElite le ofrece una elección de acción de masaje constante o tres

programas de masajes de la siguiente forma:

Masaje de burbujas estable:

• Presione el botón MASSAGE (masaje) en la unidad de control. Se iluminará

automáticamente el LED de potencia baja.

•La velocidad del masaje se puede incrementar o disminuir presionando varias

veces el botón STRENGTH (potencia). Se iluminará el LED correspondiente

para cada nivel de potencia cuando se seleccione.

Programas de masaje de burbujas:

• Presione el botón PROGRAM (programa) en la unidad de control. Se iluminará el

LED correspondiente.

•Puede elegir cualquiera de 3 programas presionando el botón de programa hasta

seleccionar el programa deseado. La velocidad se puede incrementar o disminuir

desde baja a alta presionando varias veces el botón SPEED (velocidad) hasta

seleccionar el nivel deseado.

Cuidado y mantenimiento del BubbleSpaElite

Mantenga el BubbleSpaElite limpio y sin obstrucciones. Verifique con frecuencia

el área de entrada para detectar posibles obstrucciones, incluyendo pelusas y

cabello, que pudieran bloquear el flujo de aire o agua. Nunca guarde su

BubbleSpaElite mojado.

Guardado

• Después del uso, apague la unidad de control. Vacíe la tina.

• Para quitar cualquier resto de agua dentro del colchón, levántelo, mantenien-

do la manguera adjuntada y sosténgalo en un ángulo de modo que el agua se

acumule en la esquina (Fig. 8). Encienda la unidad y deje pasar aire a través

del colchón durante 30-45 segundos. Seque el exterior del colchón con una

toalla.

• Después de que el colchón esté totalmente seco, lo puede enrollar para

guardar.

Limpieza

• Desenchufe la unidad y deje que se enfríe antes de limpiarla. Limpie única-

mente con una esponja suave, apenas humedecida.

ATENCIÓN: No utilice limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos, gasolina, querosén,

limpiador de vidrios o lustramuebles para limpiar.

• El colchón BubbleSpaElite debe ser desinfectado periódicamente para man-

tenerlo libre de bacterias. Desinféctelo con un limpiador de uso doméstico

una vez por semana si se usa varias veces por semana. Si se usa con menos

frecuencia, desinféctelo después de cada uso.

• Este producto no está diseñado para ser usado conjuntamente con ningún

tipo de jabón, gel, champú o similares. Sin embargo, si esto llegara a ocurrir,

siga los siguientes pasos para asegurar una larga duración de este producto.

1. Desconecte la manguera del colchón.

2. Llene el colchón con agua fresca, a través de la entrada de la manguera que

está en el colchón (Fig. 9).

3. Quite el agua. Repita esto varias veces hasta que se eliminen los residuos

internos.

4. Enjuague el exterior del colchón con una esponja para asegurar que todos los

residuos han sido quitados.

5. Siga las instrucciones de drenaje descritas bajo la sección "Guardado".
