1. Locate your notebook’s CardBus slot(s).
2. With your notebook on, slide the Adapter into the unused
34mm or 54mm ExpressCard bus slot.
Note: Do not plug any devices into the Adapter until
you have completely finished the driver installation.
3. The “New Hardware Wizard” will launch and recognize
the Adapter.
4. Windows OS automatically installs the correct driver.
5. Installation is now complete and the Adapter is ready
to use.

Verifying Proper Installation
Check the “Windows Device Manager” to confirm that your
Adapter has been properly installed.
1. Right-click on “My Computer” and select “Manage”.
2. Select the “Device Manager” tab.
3. Click the (+) sign next to “Disk drives”. The “Disk drives”
will now include one entry that reads “Generic USB Card
Reader USB Device”.
4. There will also be an entry under “Universal Serial Bus
Controllers”, which will include an entry that reads “USB
Mass Storage Device”.

What will we do to correct problems?

Belkin will repair or replace, at its option, any defective product free of charge

vandalism, theft, normal-use wear and tear, erosion, depletion, obsolescence,

Information
How to get service.
To get service for your Belkin product you must take the following steps:
1. Contact Belkin International, Inc., at 501 W. Walnut St., Compton, CA
90220, Attn: Customer Service, or call (800)-223-5546, within 15 days of the
Occurrence. Be prepared to provide the following information:
a. The part number of the Belkin product.
b. Where you purchased the product.
c. When you purchased the product.
d. Copy of original receipt.
2. Your Belkin Customer Service Representative will then instruct you on how to
forward your receipt and Belkin product and how to proceed with your claim.
Belkin reserves the right to review the damaged Belkin product. All costs of
shipping the Belkin product to Belkin for inspection shall be borne solely by the
purchaser. If Belkin determines, in its sole discretion, that it is impractical to ship
the damaged equipment to Belkin, Belkin may designate, in its sole discretion,
an equipment repair facility to inspect and estimate the cost to repair such
equipment. The cost, if any, of shipping the equipment to and from such repair
facility and of such estimate shall be borne solely by the purchaser. Damaged
equipment must remain available for inspection until the claim is finalized.
Whenever claims are settled, Belkin reserves the right to be subrogated under
any existing insurance policies the purchaser may have.
How state law relates to the warranty.
THIS WARRANTY CONTAINS THE SOLE WARRANTY OF BELKIN. THERE ARE
NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR, EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY LAW,
IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF QUALITY,
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND SUCH

1. Repérez le ou les emplacement(s) ExpressCard de votre
ordinateur.
2. Pendant que votre ordinateur est allumé, glissez
l’adaptateur ExpressCard dans l’emplacement
ExpressCard 34 ou 54 mm.
Remarque : Ne branchez aucun périphérique dans
l’adaptateur avant d’avoir terminé l’installation du
pilote.
3. L’assistant Ajout de nouveau matériel démarre. Celui-ci
reconnaît automatiquement l’adaptateur.
4. Windows installe automatiquement le pilote approprié.
5. L’installation est terminée. L’adaptateur est prêt à
l’emploi.

Vérification de l’installation
Ouvrez le Gestionnaire de périphériques de Windows afin
de vous assurer que votre adaptateur a été correctement
installé.
1. Cliquez avec le bouton droit de la souris sur « My
computer [Poste de Travail] » et sélectionnez « Manage
[Gérer] ».
2. Sélectionnez l’onglet « Device Manager [Gestionnaire de
périphériques] ».
3. Cliquez sur le signe plus (+) à côté de « Disk drives

1. Sehen Sie nach, wo sich die ExpressCard-Steckplätze
Ihres Notebooks befinden.
2. Stecken Sie bei eingeschaltetem Notebook den Adapter in
den freien 34-mm- oder 54-mm-ExpressCard-Steckplatz.
Hinweis: Schließen Sie keine Geräte an den Adapter
an, bevor die Treiberinstallation abgeschlossen ist.
3. Der „New Hardware Wizard” (Hardware-Assistent) wird
gestartet und erkennt den Adapter.
4. Windows installiert den richtigen Treiber automatisch.
5. Die Installation ist damit abgeschlossen und der Adapter
ist betriebsbereit.

Überprüfen der Installation
Überprüfen Sie im Windows Geräte-Manager, ob der
Adapter ordnungsgemäß installiert worden ist.
1. Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf das Symbol
„Arbeitsplatz” und klicken Sie anschließend auf
„Verwalten”.
2. Rufen Sie den „Geräte-Manager” auf.
3. Klicken Sie auf das (+) Zeichen neben „Disk Drives”
(Laufwerke). Unter den Laufwerken müsste nun ein Eintrag
mit der Bezeichnung „Generic USB Card Reader USB
Device” erscheinen.
4. Außerdem ist unter „Universal Serial Bus Controllers” der
Eintrag „USB Mass Storage Device” zu finden.

b. Wo Sie das Produkt erworben haben.
c. Das Kaufdatum.
d. Kopie der Originalquittung.

1. Zoek een ExpressCard-sleuf op uw notebook op.
2. Terwijl uw notebook is ingeschakeld, schuift u de adapter
in de vrije ExpressCard-sleuf van 34 mm of 54 mm.
Let op: Pas als het stuurprogramma volledig is
geïnstalleerd, mag u apparaten op de adapter
aansluiten.
3. De “New Hardware Wizard” zal gestart worden en deze
zal de adapter herkennen.
4. Windows zal het juiste stuurprogramma automatisch
installeren.
5. De installatie is nu voltooid en de adapter is klaar voor
gebruik.

Controle van de installatie
Controleer in “Windows Device Manager” (Windows
Apparaatbeheer) of uw adapter correct is geïnstalleerd.
1. Klik met de rechter muisknop op “My Computer” (Deze
computer) en selecteer “Manage” (Beheer).
2. Selecteer het tabblad “Device Manager” (Apparaatbeheer).
3. Klik op het plusteken (+) naast “Disk drives”
(Schijfstations). In het overzicht van “Disk drives” zal nu
ook de “Generic USB Card Reader USB Device” zijn
opgenomen.
4. Het overzicht van “Universal Serial Bus Controllers” zal nu
ook de “USB Mass Storage Device” bevatten.

Hoe wordt service verleend?
Om voor serviceverlening door Belkin in aanmerking te komen, moet u het volgende doen:
1. Neem binnen 15 dagen na het voorval schriftelijk contact op met de afdeling

verstrekken:

te begroten. De eventuele verzendkosten van het product naar de reparatie-inrichting
en van de terugzending naar de koper en van de kostenbegroting komen geheel voor
rekening van de koper. Het beschadigde product moet voor onderzoek beschikbaar
blijven totdat de claim is afgehandeld. Belkin behoudt zich bij de vereffening van
claims het recht voor tot in-de-plaatstreding bij alle geldige verzekeringspolissen

1. Localice la(s) ranura(s) CardBus de su notebook.
2. Con su notebook conectado, inserte el adaptador en la
ranura disponible bus ExpressCard de 34 ó 54 mm.
Nota: No conecte ningún dispositivo a su adaptador

para confirmar que su adaptador ha sido instalado

1. Haga clic con el botón derecho del ratón en ”Mi PC” y

Informazioni
Come ottenere l’assistenza.
Per usufruire dell’assistenza per il proprio prodotto Belkin, è necessario:
1. Contattare la Belkin International, Inc. all’indirizzo 501 W. Walnut St., Compton
CA 90220, att.: Customer Service, oppure chiamare il numero (800)-223-5546,
entro 15 giorni dall’evento. Vi sarà richiesto di fornire le seguenti informazioni:
a. Il codice del prodotto Belkin.
b. Il luogo di acquisto del prodotto.
c. La data di acquisto del prodotto.
d. Copia della ricevuta originale.
2. Il rappresentante del Servizio Clienti Belkin vi spiegherà come inviare la ricevuta
e il prodotto Belkin e come procedere al reclamo.
Belkin si riserva il diritto di riesaminare il prodotto Belkin danneggiato. Tutte le
spese di spedizione per il prodotto Belkin restituito alla Belkin sono a carico
dell’acquirente. Se Belkin dovesse ritenere, a propria discrezione, che inviare
l’apparecchio danneggiato non sia pratico, Belkin potrà decidere, a propria
discrezione di farlo ispezionare e determinare il costo della riparazione presso
una struttura diversa dalla propria. In caso ci fossero delle spese di spedizione
per inviare e ricevere l’apparecchio dopo l’ispezione, queste saranno a carico
dell’acquirente. Eventuali apparecchi danneggiati dovranno essere mantenuti
disponibili per eventuali verifiche fino alla risoluzione della richiesta di indennizzo.
Al raggiungimento dell’accordo, Belkin si riserva il diritto di essere surrogata da
eventuali polizze assicurative dell’acquirente.
La garanzia e le leggi vigenti in materia
LA PRESENTE GARANZIA COSTITUISCE L’UNICA GARANZIA DI BELKIN.
LA PRESENTE GARANZIA È L’UNICA GARANZIA, ESPLICITA O IMPLICITA,
DELLA BELKIN. SI ESCLUDE QUALSIASI GARANZIA IMPLICITA, DI
COMMERCIABILITÀ E DI IDONEITÀ A SCOPI PARTICOLARI CHE VADA OLTRE
LA PRESENTE GARANZIA ESPLICITA SCRITTA.
Alcune giurisdizioni non consentono l’esclusione o la limitazione delle garanzie
implicite o della responsabilità per i danni accidentali, pertanto i limiti di
esclusione di cui sopra potrebbero non fare al caso vostro.
IN NESSUN CASO BELKIN POTRÀ ESSERE CONSIDERATA RESPONSABILE
DI ALCUN DANNO DIRETTO, INDIRETTO, ACCIDENTALE, SPECIFICO O DANNI
MULTIPLI TRA I QUALI, MA NON SOLO, EVENTUALI DANNI DI MANCATI
AFFARI O MANCATO GUADAGNO DERIVATI DALLA VENDITA O UTILIZZO DI

Questa garanzia consente di godere di diritti legali specifici e di eventuali altri
