WARNING
Make sure that the loudspeaker is securely installed in a stable position to avoid any injuries or damages to
persons or properties. For safety reasons do not place one loudspeaker on top of another without proper
fastening systems. Before hanging the loudspeaker check all the components for damages, deformations, missing
or damaged parts that may compromise safety during installation. If you use the loudspeakers outdoor avoid
spots exposed to bad weather conditions.
The external wiring connected to speaker output terminals requires installation by qualied personnel only. Once
the equipment is installed, prevent access to the connectors to unqualied personnel. Only use the accessories
and congurations described in this manual, and proceed in accordance with the instructions given in
the manuals for the accessories. dBTechnologies will not accept any responsibility for damages caused by
inappropriate accessories or additional devices.

Grazie per aver acquistato un prodotto progettato e sviluppato in Italia da dBTechnologies! Questa serie di
diffusori passivi professionali racchiude in sé anni di esperienza ed innovazione nel campo della diffusione
sonora, con l’impiego di soluzioni d’avanguardia in campo acustico, elettronico e di ricerca sui materiali.
PANORAMICA INTRODUTTIVA
IS è la serie di diffusori passivi dedicati all’installazione. Il modello IS25T in particolare è progettato per la
riproduzione musicale di alta qualità in installazioni e anche per applicazioni dal vivo con diverse congurazioni
di montaggio grazie agli accessori disponibili; offre un sistema point source a due vie con doppio woofer da 5”
(VC 1”) e compression driver da 1” (VC 1.4”). Il design accattivante e le varianti di colore nero o bianco danno
al diffusore un look elegante e discreto, rendendolo adatto a qualsiasi contesto commerciale e istituzionale. I
connettori Euroblock (Phoenix) assicurano un collegamento facile e veloce.
Le caratteristiche principali sono:

COPERTURA ACUSTICA
La tromba ha un design mirato a una dispersione di 100° in orizzontale e 60° in verticale.
In base al tipo di applicazione in cui si sta utilizzando il diffusore, è possibile invertire la copertura ruotando la
tromba seguendo questa semplice procedura:
• svitare le viti che fissano la rete e rimuoverla
• svitare le quattro viti che fissano la tromba al box
• ruotare la tromba di 90° in senso orario o antiorario: i fori per le viti fanno da riferimento
• fissare la tromba nella nuova posizione avvitando le quattro viti nei rispettivi fori
• applicare la rete e avvitare le viti per fissarla al box

MECCANICA
I lati superiore e inferiore sono dotati di una predisposizione per le
staffe (opzionali). Queste predisposizioni consentono una regolazione
dell’inclinazione in posizione orizzontale, ed un ssaggio rapido in
verticale. Vedere anche la sezione ACCESSORI.
PROTEZIONE CONTRO I CORPI SOLIDI E LIQUIDI (GRADO IP)
Il presente diffusore è protetto contro l’ingresso di corpi solidi e liquidi esterni con grado di protezione IP32
secondo la EN 60529.
Per garantire questa specica, il medesimo deve essere installato in posizione orizzontale o verticale, con angolo
non inferiore ai 15° rispetto alla verticale, puntato verso il basso.
Il cavo di connessione del diffusore all’amplicatore deve avere un diametro di 8mm (0.31 inch.).
Il non rispetto delle presenti prescrizioni di installazione, potrebbe non garantire le prestazioni
di protezione dichiarate.

2. COLLEGAMENTI
COLLEGAMENTO E RILANCIO DEL SEGNALE AUDIO
L’ingresso audio e il rilancio ad un altro diffusore avviene tramite connessione Euroblock (Phoenix); i connettori
sono protetti da un pannello metallico facilmente removibile svitando le quattro viti che lo ssano al box.
Collegare la sorgente audio (proveniente ad es. da un amplicatore o altro diffusore) al morsetto INPUT tramite il
connettore femmina incluso, rispettando la polarità indicata vicino ai connettori (positivo con positivo, negativo
con negativo). Il rilancio a un altro diffusore avviene in maniera analoga: collegare l’uscita LINK del diffusore
all’ingresso INPUT di quello successivo rispettando la polarità (positivo con positivo, negativo con negativo).

ATTENZIONE!
• Non sono ammessi tipi di installazione diversi da quelli qui illustrati.
• L’installazione deve essere effettuata da parte di personale esperto.
• In caso di installazione a muro, i mezzi di fissaggio, a cura dell’installatore devono
essere adeguati alla parete, per garantire stabilità e sicurezza.
• Verificare sempre che il posizionamento sia stabile, e che l’installazione non costituisca
fonte di pericolo per persone, animali o cose.
• Assicurarsi che l’installazione su palo avvenga su di una superficie di appoggio piana
e priva di inclinazione, in caso contrario è obbligatorio un ssaggio addizionale di
sicurezza.
Per l’installazione verticale, la staffa WB-VIOX205V consente una regolazione precisa dell’angolo di inclinazione
sia nel ssaggio appeso a muro, che appeso su traliccio (ad esempio utilizzando un golfare o un TV-SPIGOT, non
inclusi) come su piantana (grazie all’adattatore per palo di diametro 35 mm). Consultare le istruzioni relative per
ulteriori dettagli.
Per l’installazione orizzontale, la staffa WB-VIOX205H consente una regolazione precisa dell’angolo di
inclinazione nel ssaggio a muro. Consultare le istruzioni relative a questo accessorio per ulteriori dettagli.

Thanks for purchasing a product that was designed and developed in Italy by dBTechnologies! This series of
professional passive speakers embodies years of experience and innovation in the eld of sound reproduction,
with the use of cutting edge solutions in the elds of acoustics, electronics and materials research.
INTRODUCTORY OVERVIEW
IS is a series of passive speakers designed for permanent installation. In particular, the IS25T model is designed for
high-quality music reproduction in installations and also for live applications with diverse congurations thanks
to the wide range of accessories available; offers a 2-way point source system with twin 5" woofers (VC 1") and
1" compression driver (VC 1.4"). The attractive design and colour choice of black or white gives the speakers and
elegant, unobtrusive look, making them ideal for any commercial or institutional setting. The Euroblock (Phoenix)
connectors ensure quick and easy connection.
Its main features are:
• high quality sound
• compact and versatile design
• wide acoustic coverage
• reduced dimensions and weight
• possibility to rotate the horn for horizontal or vertical use
• can be mounted on a wall, pole or truss adapter using the optional accessories (not included

ACOUSTIC COVERAGE
The horn is designed to give a coverage of 100° horizontally and 60° vertically.
The coverage pattern of the speaker can be inverted to suit different applications by rotating the horn using this
simple procedure:
• unscrew the screws securing the grille and remove the grille
• unscrew the four screws securing the horn to the cabinet
• rotate the horn through 90° either in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction; the screws holes
serve as reference points
• fix the horn in the new position by screwing the four screws back into their holes
• fit the grille and tighten the screws to secure it to the cabinet

MECHANICAL FEATURES
The top and bottom of the speaker are equipped with attachment
ttings for the mounting brackets (optional). These attachment ttings
allow adjustment of the tilt angle with the speaker in the horizontal
position, and rapid xing in the vertical position. See the ACCESSORIES
section.
PROTECTION AGAINST SOLID OBJECTS AND LIQUIDS (IP RATING)
The speaker is protected against the ingress of solid objects and liquids with a rating of IP32 as dened by
EN 60529.
To guarantee this specication is met, the speaker must be installed horizontally or vertically facing downwards
with a tilt angle of at least 15° to the vertical.
The cable connecting the speaker to the amplier must have a diameter of at least 8mm (0.31 inch).
Failure to comply with these installation prescriptions could adversely affect the declared
protection ratings.

2. CONNECTIONS
CONNECTING AND LINKING THE AUDIO SIGNAL
The audio input and link to another speaker are connected via Euroblock (Phoenix) connectors; the connectors
are protected under a metal panel that is easily removed by unscrewing the four screws securing it to the cabinet.
Connect the audio source (e.g., from an amplier or another speaker) to the INPUT terminal using the provided
female connectors, respecting the polarity markings next to the connectors (positive to positive, negative to
negative). The audio signal can be linked to another speaker in a similar way: connect the LINK output of the
speaker to the INPUT terminal of the next speaker respecting the polarity (positive to positive, negative to
negative).

CAUTION!
• Installation types other than those illustrated here are not allowed.
• Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
• If the speaker is to be wall mounted, the fixings used by the installer must be suitable
for the type of wall to ensure stability and safety.
• Always check that placement is stable and the installation is not a hazard to people,
animals or things.
• In the case of pole mounting, make sure that the stand is placed on a flat, level surface,
otherwise additional safety xings will be required.
For vertical installation, the bracket WB-VIOX205V allows precise adjustment of the tilt angle when the speaker is
wall mounted, suspended from a truss (e.g., using an eyebolt or TV-SPIGOT, not included) or mounted on a stand
(using a 35 mm adapter for pole mounting). Refer to the relevant instructions for further details.
For horizontal installation, the bracket WB-VIOX205H allows precise adjustment of the tilt angle when the
speaker is wall mounted. Refer to the specic instructions for this accessory for further details.

Das Horndesign gewährleistet eine extrem genaue Abstrahlung von horizontal 100° und vertikal 60°.
Entsprechend der jeweiligen Anwendung des Monitors kann die Abdeckung einfach durch Drehen des Horns wie
folgt angepasst werden:
• die Befestigungsschrauben des Gitters lösen und dieses entfernen
• die vier Befestigungsschrauben des Horns am Lautsprecher lösen
• das Horn um 90° im oder gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen: die Bohrungen dienen hierbei als

MECHANIK
An der Ober- und Unterseite bendet sich eine Vorrüstung für die
(optionalen) Halterungen. Diese Vorrüstungen ermöglichen eine
Einstellung der Neigung in horizontaler und eine rasche Befestigung in
vertikaler Position. Siehe auch Abschnitt ZUBEHÖR.
SCHUTZ GEGEN FESTSTOFFE UND FLÜSSIGKEITEN (IP-SCHUTZART)
Diese Lautsprecher sind gegen das Eindringen von Feststoffen und Flüssigkeiten mit Schutzart IP32 gemäß EN
60529 geschützt.
Damit der Lautsprecher dieser Spezikation entspricht, muss er in horizontaler oder senkrechter Position mit
einem Winkel nicht unter 15° zur Senkrechten nach unten gerichtet installiert werden.
Die Anschlusskabel der Lautsprecher am Verstärker müssen einen Durchmesser von 8mm aufweisen (0.31 inch).
Bei Missachtung dieser Installationsanweisungen können die deklarierten Schutzleistungen nicht

ANSCHLUSS UND WEITERLEITUNG DES AUDIOSIGNALS
Der Audioeingang und das Durchschleifen zu einem anderen Lautsprecher erfolgt mittels Euroblock-Anschluss
(Phoenix); die Verbinder sind durch eine am Gehäuse verschraubte Metallplatte geschützt, die durch Lösen der
vier Befestigungsschrauben leicht abnehmbar ist.
Die Audioquelle (z. B. von einem Verstärker oder anderen Lautsprecher) an die INPUT-Klemme mit die
weiblich Anschluss zur Verfügung gestellt unter Beachtung der neben den Anschlüssen angegebenen Polarität
anschließen (Plus mit Plus, Minus mit Minus). Das Durchschleifen zu einem anderen Lautsprecher erfolgt analog:
den LINK-Ausgang des Lautsprechers mit dem INPUT-Eingang des nächsten Lautsprechers unter Beachtung der

• Installationsarten, die von den hier beschriebenen abweichen, sind unzulässig.

Bei vertikaler Installation ermöglicht die Halterung WB-VIOX205V eine genaue Einstellung des Neigungswinkels
sowohl bei der Wandmontage, bei Installation am Gitterträger (zum Beispiel mit einer Ringschraube oder TV-
SPIGOT, nicht mitgeliefert) als auch bei Ständermontage (mit Adapter für Ständer- Durchmesser 35 mm). Für

Bei horizontaler Installation ermöglicht die Halterung WB-VIOX205H eine genaue Einstellung des

INTRODUCTION
IS est la série d’enceintes passives dédiées à l'installation. Le modèle IS25T en particulier est conçu pour une
reproduction musicale de haute qualité dans les installations et également pour des applications en direct avec
différentes congurations de montage grâce aux accessoires disponibles ; il offre un système de source ponctuelle
bidirectionnelle avec deux woofers 5" (VC 1") et un pilote de compression 1" (VC 1.4"). Le design captivant et les
variantes de couleur noir ou blanc confèrent à l'enceinte un aspect élégant et discret, la rendant adaptée à tout
contexte commercial et institutionnel. Les connecteurs Euroblock (Phoenix) assurent une branchement rapide et
facile.

COUVERTURE SONORE
Le design de la corne favorise une dispersion extrêmement précise de 100° à l’horizontale et de 60° à la verticale.
Selon l’application, il est possible d’inverser la couverture en tournant la corne grâce à cette procédure très simple :
• desserrer les vis qui fixent la grille et l’enlever
• desserrer les quatre vis qui fixent la corne au boîtier
• tourner la corne de 90° dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre ou dans le sens inverse : les
trous des vis servent de repère
• fixer la corne dans la position souhaitée et serrer les vis dans leurs trous
• appliquer la grille et serrer les vis pour la fixer au boîtier

Les côtés supérieur et inférieur sont équipés d'une disposition pour
les supports (en option). Ces prédispositions permettent un réglage de
l'inclinaison en position horizontale, et une xation rapide en verticale.

Cette enceinte est protégée contre la pénétration de corps solides et liquides externes avec un degré de
protection IP32 selon EN 60529.
Pour garantir cette spécication, elle doit être installée en position horizontale ou verticale, avec un angle d'au
moins 15° par rapport à la verticale, pointant vers le bas.
Le câble reliant l’enceinte à l'amplicateur doit avoir un diamètre de 8 mm (0.31 inch.).
Le non-respect de ces prescriptions d'installation peut ne pas garantir les performances de

BRANCHEMENT ET RELANCE DU SIGNAL AUDIO
L'entrée audio et le relais vers une autre enceinte s'effectuent via une connexion Euroblock (Phoenix) ; les
connecteurs sont protégés par un panneau métallique facilement démontable en dévissant les quatre vis qui le
xent au caisson.
Brancher la source audio (provenant par exemple d'un amplicateur ou d’une autre enceinte) à la borne INPUT
avec le fourni femelle connecteurs en respectant la polarité indiquée à proximité des connecteurs (positif avec
positif, négatif avec négatif). Le relais vers une autre enceinte s'effectue de la même manière : connecter la sortie
LINK de l’enceinte à l'entrée INPUT de l’enceinte suivante en respectant la polarité (positif avec positif, négatif
avec négatif).

ATTENTION !
• Les types d'installation autres que ceux illustrés ici ne sont pas admis.
• L'installation doit être effectuée par un personnel spécialisé.
• En cas d’installation murale, les moyens de fixation, aux soins de l’installateur, doivent
être adaptés au mur, pour assurer la stabilité et la sécurité.
• Toujours vérifier que le positionnement soit stable et s'assurer que l'installation ne
représente pas une source de danger pour les personnes, les animaux ou les choses.
• Assurez-vous que l'installation sur mât s'effectue sur une surface d'appui plane sans
inclinaison, sinon une xation de sécurité supplémentaire est obligatoire.
Pour une installation verticale, le support WB-VIOX205V permet un réglage précis de l'angle d'inclinaison aussi
bien dans la xation suspendue au mur, que suspendue sur treillis (par exemple à l'aide d'un boulon à œil ou
d'un TV-SPIGOT, non inclus) ou sur un mât (grâce à l'adaptateur pour mât diamètre 35 mm). Reportez-vous aux
instructions correspondantes pour plus de détails.

INTRODUCCIÓN
IS es la serie de altavoces pasivos destinados a instalación ja. El modelo IS25T está especialmente diseñado para
la reproducción musical de alta calidad en instalaciones jas y también para aplicaciones en directo con distintas
opciones de montaje gracias a los accesorios disponibles; ofrece un sistema de fuente puntual de dos vías con
doble woofer de 5" (VC 1") y motor de compresión de 1" (VC 1.4"). Su diseño atractivo y las opciones de color
- negro o blanco - aportan al altavoz un aspecto elegante y discreto, siendo adecuado para cualquier entorno

COBERTURA DE SONIDO
El diseño de la bocina determina una dispersión de 100° en horizontal y 60° en vertical.
Dependiendo del tipo de aplicación del monitor, es posible invertir la cobertura girando la bocina con este
sencillo procedimiento:
• suelte los tornillos que sujetan la malla y retírela
• suelte los 4 tornillos que sujetan la bocina a la caja
• gire la bocina 90° en sentido horario o antihorario, tomando como referencia los orificios
para los tornillos
• sujete la bocina en la nueva posición apretando los 4 tornillos en sus respectivos orificios
• coloque la malla y apriete los tornillos para sujetarla a la caja

El lado superior y el inferior están preparados para el montaje con
soportes (opcionales). Esto permite ajustar la inclinación en posición
horizontal y una jación rápida en vertical. Consulte también la sección

PROTECCIÓN CONTRA CUERPOS EXTRAÑOS Y LÍQUIDOS (GRADO IP)
Este altavoz está protegido contra la entrada de cuerpos sólidos y líquidos con grado de protección IP32 de
conformidad a la norma EN 60529.
Para garantizar esta especicación, el mismo debe instalarse en posición horizontal o vertical, con ángulo no
inferior a 15° respecto a la vertical, apuntando hacia abajo.

2. CONEXIONES
CONEXIÓN Y TRANSMISIÓN DE LA SEÑAL DE AUDIO
La entrada de audio y la transmisión a otro altavoz se realizan mediante conexión Euroblock (Phoenix); los
conectores están protegidos por un panel metálico que se retira fácilmente soltando los cuatro tornillos que lo
sujetan a la carcasa.
Conecte la fuente de sonido (procedente, por ejemplo, de un amplicador u otro altavoz) al borne INPUT con el
conector femenino provisto respetando la polaridad indicada cerca de los conectores (positivo con positivo,
negativo con negativo). La transmisión a otro altavoz se realiza de forma similar: conecte la salida LINK del
altavoz a la entrada INPUT del siguiente respetando la polaridad (positivo con positivo, negativo con negativo).

• No se permite hacer instalaciones distintas de las que se indican en este manual.

• En caso de instalación en la pared, el instalador debe utilizar herramientas adecuadas al
tipo de pared, para garantizar estabilidad y seguridad.
• Controle siempre que la instalación sea estable y que no constituya una fuente de
peligro para personas, animales o cosas.
• Asegúrese de que el montaje en trípode se realice en una superficie plana y no
inclinada, de lo contrario es obligatoria una jación adicional de seguridad.
Para la instalación vertical, el soporte WB-VIOX205V permite el ajuste preciso del ángulo de inclinación tanto
en la jación a la pared, como suspendido del truss (por ejemplo, utilizando un cáncamo o un TV-SPIGOT, no
incluidos) como en trípode (gracias al adaptador correspondiente de 35 mm de diámetro). Para más detalles,
consulte las instrucciones correspondientes.
Para la instalación horizontal, el soporte WB-VIOX205H permite una regulación precisa del ángulo de inclinación
en la jación a la pared. Para más detalles, consulte las instrucciones correspondientes a este accesorio.
