of this product, always read the
instruction book carefully before using.
DF09 Models
Review the instruction booklet for your
hair dryer before using. Allow dryer to cool
before attempting to remove diffuser.
The diffuser may be hot.
DIRECTIONS
FOR USE
Before attaching diffuser to hair dryer, make
sure hair dryer is turned off & is unplugged from
electrical outlet. Insert barrel end of hair dryer
into diffuser opening. Do not cover entire barrel
with diffuser. Note: This diffuser fits most hair
dryers. (If fit is not secure, do not use diffuser.)
For best results, set hair dryer to low speed &
heat. (High temperatures can cause overheating
which will damage the dryer & diffuser.)
SUPER STYLING GUIDE
Your best looks begin with a good haircut
that’s well maintained. Always treat hair right
with superior quality shampoos, conditioners,
and finishing products.
DRYING BASICS
1. Shampoo and condition hair with products of
your choice. Rinse thoroughly. Towel-dry hair
to remove excess moisture. Using the dryer,
start at a lower setting and direct hot air
through a section of hair at a time. Move
dryer steadily across each section so that the
hot air passes through hair. Direct airflow at
hair, not scalp. Clouds of negatively charged
ions will help to reduce static electricity,
control frizzy flyaways and contribute to your
hair’s shine.
2. Keep dryer’s air intake vents unobstructed
and free from hair while drying.
3. To avoid overdrying, do not concentrate heat
on any one section for an extended length of
time. Keep dryer moving as you style.
4. For quick touch-ups between shampoos,
dampen hair with a mist of water before
styling with the dryer.
5. When using your dryer to create curls and
waves, dry hair almost completely on a
warmer temperature setting, then finish
styling with cool shot feature to close hair
shaft and lock in style.
BODY & VOLUME
To create extra volume, turn
head upside down while
drying. Position the airflow
toward the roots for
maximum lift. When hair is
dry, toss head back and
brush hair into place.
STRAIGHTENING
Work with hair in sections when creating a
super straight look. Select a small section of
hair and pass through each section to smooth
out curls and help control frizz.
MAKING WAVES
Tousled, natural-looking
waves are easily created by
grasping hair at the roots
and scrunching between
fingertips while drying. For
curlier, wavier hair use the
volumizing diffuser.
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR
VOLUMIZING DIFFUSER
Volumizing Fingers Universal Fit
USER MAINTENANCE
Your universal fit, volumizing diffuser fits
most hair dryers. Your diffuser is virtually
maintenance free. No lubrication is needed.
For proper operating performance, your
diffuser and dryer must be kept clean.
When cleaning is needed, unplug the cord,
allow dryer to cool and clean dust and lint from
air intake openings with a small brush or the
brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner. The
outer surface of the dryer should be wiped
clean with a cloth only.
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will
cause the dryer to overheat. If overheating
occurs, an automatic safety device will shut the
dryer or the heat off to prevent damage or
personal injury. If the unit or the heat turns off,
unplug the cord and allow the dryer to cool for
10 to 15 minutes before restarting. Make sure
the air vents are clean.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be
pulled, twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap
the cord tightly around the dryer. Damage will
occur at the high flex point of entry into the
dryer, causing it to rupture and short. Inspect
the cord frequently for damage. Stop use
immediately if damage is visible or unit
stops or operates intermittently.
If the cord or dryer is damaged or does not
operate properly, return it for repair to an
authorized Conair service representative
only. No repairs should be attempted by
the consumer.
STORAGE – Important
When not in use, your dryer should be
disconnected, allowed to cool and stored in
a safe, dry location, out of reach of children.
Do not wrap line cord around dryer. Allow the
cord to hang or lie loose and straight at the
point of entry into the dryer.

the date of purchase if the appliance is
defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return
the defective product to the service center
listed on back, together with your purchase
receipt and $7.00 for postage and handling.
California residents need only provide proof
of purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR
for shipping instructions. In the absence of a
purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be
36 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS,
OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED

Lea el manual de instrucciones de su
secador de cabello antes de usar este
producto. Permita que el secador enfríe
antes de retirar el difusor. El difusor
puede estar caliente.
MODO DE EMPLEO
Asegúrese de que el secador de cabello
está apagado y desconectado antes de
colocar el difusor. Introduzca la boquilla del
secador en la abertura del difusor. No cubra
todo el tubo del secador con el difusor.
Nota: este difusor es compatible con la
mayoría de los secadores de cabello. (si
no queda firmemente sujetado, no lo use).
Para obtener resultados óptimos, ajuste la

GUÍA PARA UN SÚPER PEINADO
La mejor apariencia empieza por un corte
de cabello bien mantenido. Siempre cuide
su cabello con champús, acondicionadores y
productos de peinado de calidad superior.
FUNDAMENTOS DEL SECADO
1. Lave y acondicione el cabello con los
productos deseados. Enjuague bien. Séquelo
con una toalla para eliminar el exceso de
agua. Empiece a secar el cabello sección por
sección, usando el ajuste de temperatura/
velocidad más bajo. Mueva el cepillo y el
secador lenta y simultáneamente hasta las
puntas. Dirija el flujo de aire hacia el cabello,
no hacia el cuero cabelludo. El aparato
genera iones negativos que ayudan a reducir
la estática y a controlar el frizz mientras
proporcionan brillo.
2. Mantenga las entradas de aire del aparato sin
obstrucciones y libres de cabello.
3. Para evitar los daños por el calor, no
concentre el flujo de aire en ninguna sección
por un tiempo prolongado; mueva el secador
constantemente.
4. P ara realizar retoques rápidos entre lavados,
rocíe un poco de agua sobre el cabello antes
de secarlo.
5. Cuando use el secador para crear rizos y
ondas, seque el cabello casi por completo
usando aire tibio, y luego fije el peinado
usando aire frío.

CUERPO & VOLUMEN
Para dar más volumen al
cabello, incline la cabeza
hacia abajo durante el
secado. Dirija el flujo de aire
hacia la raíz para obtener
más cuerpo. Cuando el
cabello esté seco, enderece
la cabeza y péinese en la
forma deseada.
ALISADO
Para conseguir resultados súper lisos, trabaje
sección por sección. Separe una pequeña
sección de cabello y pase el secador por cada
sección para suavizar los rizos y ayudar a
controlar el frizz.

FAMILIARÍCESE CON SU DIFUSOR
DE AIRE VOLUMIZANTE INSTRUCCIONES DE
MANTENIMIENTO
Su difusor de aire volumizante de tamaño
universal es compatible con la mayoría de los
secadores. Su aparato requiere poco
mantenimiento. No necesita lubricación. Para
un bueno funcionamiento, debe mantener limpio
tanto el difusor como el secador.
Cuando sea necesario limpiar el secador,
desconéctelo, permita que se enfríe y quite el
polvo y las pelusas de las aberturas de aire con
un cepillo pequeño o el cepillo accesorio de una
aspiradora. La superficie exterior del secador
solo se debe limpiar con un paño limpio.
El secador se recalentará si las aberturas de
aire están bloqueadas u obstruidas. En caso
de que esto suceda, un sistema de seguridad
apagará el secador o cortará la temperatura
automáticamente para evitar daños al aparato o
lesiones personales. Si esto sucediera,
desenchufe el aparato y permita que se enfríe
por 10 a 15 minutos antes de encenderlo de
nuevo. Cerciórese de que las ventilaciones de
aire estén limpias.
PRECAUCIÓN
NUNCA jale, retuerza ni doble mucho el cable.
Nunca lo enrolle con fuerza alrededor del
aparato; esto puede dañar la junta flexible que
lo conecta al aparato, produciendo su rotura o
un cortocircuito. Revise el cable con frecuencia
para asegurarse de que no esté dañado. Deje
de usar el aparato inmediatamente si el
