INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Lea atentamente las siguientes instrucciones de seguridad recomendadas.
Este dispositivo debe operarse sólo en una toma de 220-240 V AC, 50 Hz.
Asegúrese de que el voltaje de la fuente de alimentación de la zona que se
está usando es el requerido y que selecciona la configuración de voltaje
correcta para su aparato.
Fuente de alimentación
Antes de enchufar por primera vez lea atentamente el siguiente
apartado.
Cable de alimentación
No coloque un mueble u otro sobre el cable de alimentación, ni lo apriete.
Manipule el cable de alimentación por el enchufe. No desenchufe el
aparato tirando del cable de alimentación y nunca toque dicho cable con
las manos húmedas, ya que esto podría provocar un cortocircuito o una
descarga eléctrica.
Nunca haga un nudo en el cable ni lo ate a otros cables. El cable de
alimentación debe colocarse de forma que no haya posibilidades de pisarlo.
Un cable de alimentación dañado puede provocar un incendio o una
descarga eléctrica. Cuando esté dañado y necesite ser sustituido, deberá
hacerlo el personal cualificado.
Humedad y agua
No utilice este aparato en un lugar húmedo y mojado (evite el baño, el
fregadero de la cocina, etc.). No exponga este aparato a la lluvia o el agua,
ya que esto puede ser peligroso, y no coloque encima objetos llenos de
líquido como jarrones.
Si algún objeto sólido o líquido se cae en el mueble desenchufe
inmediatamente el (los) aparato(s) enchufado(s) y haga que lo revise el
personal cualificado para ello antes de seguir operándolo(s).
Limpieza
Antes de limpiarlo desenchufe este aparato de la toma de la pared. No
utilice líquidos abrasivos ni limpiadores con aerosol. Utilice un paño suave y
seco.
Ventilación
Las ranuras y aperturas del aparato están pensadas para la ventilación y
para asegurar un funcionamiento fiable.
Para prevenir el sobrecalentamiento estas aperturas no deben estar
bloqueadas ni cubiertas de ninguna forma.
Cuando instale esta unidad asegúrese de dejar un espacio suficiente
alrededor de la misma para asegurar la ventilación y mejorar la radiación
del calor.
No exponga la unidad a condiciones extremas de calor, frío o humedad.
Calor y llamas
El dispositivo no debe colocarse cerca de llamas abiertas ni fuentes de calor
intenso como un calentador eléctrico. Asegúrese de no colocar fuentes de
llama abierta, como velas, encima del aparato. Las baterías no deben
exponerse a un calor excesivo, como la luz del sol, el fuego o similares.
Relámpagos
En caso de tormenta o relámpagos, o cuando vaya de vacaciones,
desconecte el cable de alimentación de la toma de la pared.
Piezas de repuesto
Cuando se necesiten piezas de repuesto asegúrese de que el técnico de use
piezas de repuesto especificadas por el fabricante. Las sustituciones no
autorizadas pueden provocar fuego, descargas eléctricas y otros peligros.
Póngase en contacto con la marca o el fabricante que le remitirá al servicio
técnico más cercano, el cual le suministrará o cambiará las piezas de
repuesto.
Mantenimiento
Por favor, acuda al personal cualificado de la marca para que realice todo el
mantenimiento. No retire la cubierta ya que podría sufrir una descarga
eléctrica.
Riesgo de descarga eléctrica
El símbolo del relámpago terminado en _echa dentro de un triángulo
equilátero sirve para advertir al usuario de la presencia de líneas de tensión
sin aislamiento dentro de la carcasa del producto, que pueden tener una
magnitud lo suficientemente grande como para suponer un riesgo de
descarga eléctrica para las personas.
El punto de exclamación dentro de un triángulo equilátero sirve para
advertir al usuario de la presencia de instrucciones importantes de
funcionamiento y mantenimiento en la literatura que acompaña al
aparato.
Eliminación de residuos
- El envase y los accesorios del envase son reciclables y principalmente
deben reciclarse. El material de envasado, como las bolsas de plástico, debe
mantenerse alejado de los niños.
- Las baterías, incluidas las que no contienen metales pesados, no deben
tirarse con los residuos domésticos. Por favor, tire las baterías usadas de
forma ecológicamente responsable. Infórmese sobre los reglamentos
legales vigentes en su zona. No intente recargar las baterías porque existe
el peligro de que exploten. Sustituya las baterías únicamente por otras
iguales o por un tipo de baterías equivalente.
Este símbolo en el producto o en su envase significa que debe tirar su
aparato eléctrico al final de su vida útil, separado de los residuos
domésticos. Existen sistemas de recogida separados para el reciclaje en la
UE. Para obtener más información póngase en contacto con la autoridad
local o el distribuidor al que compró el producto.
Desconexión del aparato
El enchufe de conexión a la red se utiliza para desconectar el aparato de la
red y, por tanto, debe permanecer fácilmente utilizable.
Volumen de los altavoces
Su aparato cuenta con clavija para auriculares, tenga en cuenta que una
presión excesiva de sonido de los auriculares y altavoces puede provocarse
una pérdida de audición.
Instalación
Para evitar daños, este aparato debe sujetarse a la pared de forma segura y
de acuerdo con las instrucciones de instalación para el montaje en la pared
(si la opción está disponible).
Advertencia:
No deje su aparato en modo de espera (Standby) o de funcionamiento
cuando salga de casa.
El producto no se apaga completamente con el botón de espera
(Standby)/encendido (On).
Además, el aparato sigue consumiendo energía en el modo de espera. Para
separar completamente el aparato de la red, el enchufe de la red debe
sacarse de la toma tirando del mismo. Debido a que el aparato debe
colocarse de forma que se garantice el acceso sin obstrucciones a la toma
de alimentación, así, en caso de emergencia, el enchufe podrá sacarse
inmediatamente. Durante períodos prolongados sin utilizar el aparato, éste
debe desconectarse de la red de alimentación.
No deje el aparato eléctrico en manos de los niños
Nunca deje que los niños utilicen aparatos eléctricos sin supervisión. Los
niños no pueden reconocer siempre los posibles peligros. Las
baterías/acumuladores pueden poner en peligro la vida si se tragan. Guarde
las baterías fuera del alcance de los niños. En caso de tragarse una batería
deberá buscar asistencia médica inmediatamente.
Mantenga también el envase alejado de los niños ya que supone un peligro
de ahogo.
ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONES
PRECAUCIÓN: PARA EVITAR DESCARGAS ELÉCTRICAS, INTRODUZCA
TOTALMENTE EL CONTACTO EN LA RANURA ANCHA.
ATENCIÓN: Para reducir el riesgo de incendio o de descarga eléctrica no
exponga este aparato a la lluvia o la humedad.
PRECAUCIÓN: La utilización de cualquier control o ajuste que no se
encuentren aquí especificados, puede constituir un riesgo de exposición a
radiaciones.
ATENCIÓN: Los cambios o modificaciones realizados en esta unidad que no
estén aprobados expresamente por la parte responsable del cumplimiento
podrían anular la autoridad del usuario para utilizar el equipo.
ATENCIÓN: No ponga el equipo directamente sobre superficies con algún
tipo de acabado sensible, no o poroso. Así como, cualquier mueble
compuesto de goma y aceites, ya que las patas pueden dejar marcas o
manchas en las superficies. Le recomendamos que ponga una tela o un
cristal entre el equipo y la superficie de modo a formar una barrera
protectora para evitar dañar o manchar sus muebles.
ATENCIÓN: La proximidad del equipo a iluminación fluorescente puede
causar interferencias en el control remoto. Si el equipo presentar un
funcionamiento irregular aléjelo de cualquier iluminación fluorescente, ya
que esta puede ser la causa.
PRECAUCIÓN: Peligro de explosión en caso de sustituir las baterías de
forma incorrecta. Sustitúyalas sólo por el mismo tipo o equivalente.
ATENCIÓN: Las pilas no deben exponerse al calor excesivo, sol, fuego u
otros.
ATENCIÓN: Las pilas de litio, tal como todas las pilas recargables, son
reciclables y no deben ser recicladas o eliminadas con la basura doméstica
Contacte su gestión municipal para la información sobre reciclaje o
eliminación de residuos. Las pilas no deben nunca ser incineradas. ¡Pueden
explotar!
ATENCIÓN: Peligro de descarga. El enchufe de alimentación o el adaptador
desconectan el equipo, por esa razón deben tener un acceso fácil y rápido
mientras se utiliza. Para desconectar totalmente el equipo de la red, debe
retirar completamente el enchufe de alimentación o el adaptador de la
toma de corriente.

Si la superficie donde coloca su equipo tiene un acabado
natural o lacado, proteja el mueble con una tela u otro material.
CONTROLES
1. Pantalla LED
2. Botón SOURCE: Pulse repetidamente para seleccionar la entrada de audio
para el BT (receptor de Bluetooth), USB, AUX, LINE in o FM.
3. Botón de encendido: Mantenga pulsado durante 3 segundos para
seleccionar las opciones de 12 o 24 horas en modo standby. Pulse para
encender o apagar el altavoz.
4. SINTONÍA -: En modo FM, pulse una vez para navegar por las frecuencias
de radio. Para cambiar a la búsqueda automática de emisoras de radio,
pulse y mantenga durante un segundo. En modo USB y modo Bluetooth,
pulse una vez para retroceder.
5. VOLUMEN -: Pulse para reducir el volumen.
6. SINTONÍA +: En modo FM, pulse una vez para navegar por las frecuencias
de radio. Para cambiar a la búsqueda automática de emisoras de radio,
pulse y mantenga durante un segundo. En modo USB y modo Bluetooth,
pulse una vez para avanzar.
7. VOLUMEN +: Pulse para aumentar el volumen.
8. ECUALIZACIÓN: Gire el botón de ecualización (Balance) para ajustar el
nivel de volumen de las salidas izquierda y derecha.
9. MIC VOL: Gire el botón del micrófono para ajustar su volumen.
10. ECO: Gire el botón de resonancia para ajustar su nivel.

13. Antena FM.
14. Conectores de entrada auxiliar – izquierdo/derecho.

18. Soporte de micrófono
1. Botón de encendido: Pulse para encender o apagar el equipo.
2. Botón de MEM/CLOCK (en espera): Pulse para desplazarse por las
emisoras de radio guardadas. Pulse para ajustar el tiempo.
3. Botón TUN/MEM: Pulse 3 segundos para la búsqueda automática y
guarde las emisoras FM. Pulse la tecla para acceder a las emisoras de radio
guardadas.
4. Botón MÚSICA: Pulse para cambiar a la ecualización optimizada para
música.
5. Botones TREBLE: Pulse para ajustar los agudos en modo música.
6. Botón SOURCE: Pulse para cambiar a Bluetooth, USB, AUX , LINE in o FM.
7. Botón de SILENCIO/EMPAREJAR Pulse para silenciar el sonido, vuelva a
pulsar para retomar y pulse durante 3 segundos para salir del modo
bluetooth.
8. Botón de alarma: Pulse para definir la alarma. (en espera). Pulse y
mantenga el ícono de alarma on o el ícono de alarma off.
9. Botón SLEEP: Pulse repetidamente para definir el tiempo de sueño.
10. Botón de TUN-/CLOCK-: Pulse retroceder para ajustar la frecuencia de
radio. Pulse retroceder para ajustar el tiempo. Pulse retroceder para
seleccionar las emisoras guardadas.
11. Botón de TUN+/CLOCK+: Pulse para navegar hacia arriba en la
frecuencia de radio. Pulse para navegar hacia abajo en los tiempos. Pulse
avanzar para seleccionar las emisoras guardadas.
12. Botón MOVIE: Pulse para cambiar a la ecualización optimizada para el
sonido de películas.
13. Botón VOICE: Pulse para cambiar a la ecualización optimizada para
diálogos.
14. Botones BASS: Pulse para ajustar los graves en modo música.
15. Botones VOLUME: Pulse para ajustar el volumen.
16. SALTAR ATRÁS: En modo USB y modo Bluetooth, pulse una vez para
avanzar rápidamente.
17. Reproducir/Pausa: En modo Bluetooth, pulse para reproducir o pausar.
18. SALTAR ADELANTE: En modo USB y modo Bluetooth, pulse una vez
para retroceder rápidamente.
FUENTE DE ALIMENTACIÓN
Introduzca el enchufe pequeño del adaptador AC/DC suministrado, en el
conector DC del equipo. Introduzca el adaptador AC/DC en el conector DC
del equipo.
PILAS DEL MANDO A DISTANCIA
1.Presione la lengüeta y deslice la pila hacia afuera de la bandeja, tal como
se muestra en la figura a la derecha.
2.Sustituya la pila de botón gastada por una nueva (CR 2025) siguiendo la
polaridad indicada en el control remoto.
3.Cierre la bandeja de la pila.
Utilice únicamente el tipo de pilas con el tamaño recomendado.
1. Utilice únicamente el tipo de pilas con el tamaño recomendado.
2. Asegúrese que coloca correctamente las pilas en su compartimiento y con
la polaridad ahí indicada. Si una de las pilas se encuentra en posición
invertida, el equipo podrá dañarse.
3. Retire las pilas cuando estén gastadas o si el equipo no se usa durante un
largo periodo de tiempo, así podrá evitar daños y lesiones provocados por
una posible fuga de ácidos de las pilas.
4. No intente recargar las pilas, se pueden sobrecalentar y romperse.
5. No debe exponer las pilas a un calor excesivo, tal como sol, fuego u otros.
6. Limpie los contactos de las pilas y también los de dispositivos anteriores a
la instalación de las pilas.
7. No mezcle diferentes tipos de pilas (por ejemplo alcalinas y zinc-carbono)
o pilas gastadas con pilas nuevas.
FUNCIÓN DE APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO
Si un dispositivo externo se desconecta del LINE in, RCA, BT o el volumen es
demasiado bajo, el altavoz de torre entrará en modo standby tras 60
minutos.
INSTALAR LA BASE PARA LA TORRE
1. Retire la base y el tornillo de Ø10×28mm (suministrado).
2. Encaje las bases de la torre (en el fondo) en los agujeros
correspondientes de la base.
3. Atornille con tornillo de Ø10×28mm.
CONECTAR EL MICRÓFONO
Inserte los conectores del micrófono en el conector MIC 1 y MIC 2.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
AUX-IN
1. Enchufe el conector auxiliar de salida del reproductor externo de audio
(como un reproductor de DVD, TV, VCR, etc.) en el conector de línea
auxiliar de entrada, en la parte trasera del altavoz de torre, con el cable de
conexión RCA suministrado, tal como muestra la figura a continuación:
2. Conecte el altavoz de torre a la corriente, tal como en los procedimientos
anteriores. El indicador de espera se encenderá.
3. Para encender el altavoz de torre, pulse el botón POWER de la torre o del
control remoto.
4. Para cambiar al modo AUX, pulse repetidamente el botón SOURCE en el
equipo o en el control remoto.
5. Encienda el reproductor externo conectado y empiece la reproducción
como habitualmente.
6. Pulse el botón volumen para ajustar el nivel de volumen.
7. Para ajustar los agudos a sus preferencias, pulse los botones TREBLE en el
control remoto.
8. Para ajustar los graves a sus preferencias, pulse los botones BASS en el
control remoto.
9. Para activar la ecualización deseada, pulse los botones de modo de
ecualización preestablecida; MUSIC; MOVIE o VOICE.
10. Para apagar el sonido, pulse el botón MUTE, y vuelva a pulsar para
retomar el sonido.
11. Cuando termine la reproducción, pulse el botón POWER, en el altavoz
de torre o en el control remoto, para apagar el altavoz (modo Standby).
LINE IN
1. Conecte los auriculares; el conector de salida de línea del reproductor
externo de audio (como un reproductor de MP3, Discman, etc.) en el
conector de línea auxiliar de entrada, en la parte trasera del altavoz de
torre, con el cable de conexión de línea suministrado, tal como muestra la
figura.
2. Conecte el altavoz de torre a la corriente, tal como en los procedimientos
anteriores. El indicador de espera se encenderá.
3. Para encender el altavoz de torre, pulse el botón POWER de la torre o del
control remoto.
4. Para volver al modo LINE, pulse repetidamente el botón SOURCE, en el
equipo.
5. Encienda el reproductor externo conectado y empiece la reproducción
como habitualmente.
6. Las demás operaciones son iguales que en el modo AUX IN.
USB
1. Introduzca el dispositivo USB en el puerto correspondiente de la parte
trasera del altavoz de torre.
2. Conecte el altavoz de torre a la corriente, tal como en los procedimientos
anteriores. El indicador de espera se encenderá.
3. Para encender el altavoz de torre, pulse el botón POWER de la torre o del
control remoto.
4. Para volver al modo USB, pulse repetidamente el botón SOURCE en el
equipo.
5. Encienda el reproductor externo conectado y empiece la reproducción
como habitualmente.
6. Las demás operaciones son iguales que en el modo AUX IN.
BLUETOOTH
Vinculación inicial:
1. Encienda el altavoz de torre Pulse el botón SOURCE y seleccione el modo
Bluetooth.
2. Al buscar el dispositivo, el indicador LED del ícono de Bluetooth “BT”,
parpadea sin interrupción .
3. Cuando encuentra el dispositivo, muestra el nombre “STBTK150”. Si el
dispositivo requiere una contraseña, introduzca "0000" para vincular al
altavoz de torre.
Vinculación:
4. Encienda el altavoz de torre Pulse el botón SOURCE y seleccione el modo
Bluetooth.
5. El ícono de Bluetooth “BT”, parpadea durante 3 segundos y encuentra
automáticamente el último dispositivo que ha sido vinculado. Cuando
encuentre el dispositivo, puede reproducir el sonido directamente.
6. Si no ha encontrado cualquier dispositivo, el ícono de Bluetooth “BT”,
seguirá parpadeando sin interrupción. Introduzca la contraseña para
empezar o pulse el botón SOURCE para seleccionar el modo FM, AUX in o
LINE in.
Nota - Configurar Bluetooth:
1. Si la torre tiene el Bluetooth conectado a un dispositivo, puede pulsar y
mantener botón MUTE/PAIR durante 3 segundos para salir de este
dispositivo y vincularse con otro.
2. La distancia de transmisión máxima entre el altavoz del Bluetooth y
cualquier dispositivo es de 10m.
3. Si usa la función Bluetooth cerca de otros dispositivos wireless, pueden
ocurrir interferencias durante la reproducción. Si la reproducción a través
del Bluetooth no es correcta, mueva el altavoz Bluetooth y el dispositivo de
reproducción a otro lugar o use el cable de audio de 3.5mm en lugar de la
función Bluetooth.
RADIO FM
Antena FM
Para lograr la mejor señal de recepción, ajuste el cable de la antena al
panel trasero.
Sintonizar la radio FM
1. Pulse el botón POWER para encender el altavoz de torre.
2. Para cambiar a modo radio FM, pulse el botón SOURCE.
3. Para sintonizar la radio FM, pulse el botón TUN+/CLOCK+ o TUN-/CLOCK-
en el control remoto.
4. Se encuentran disponibles 30 emisoras preestablecidas.
Guardar emisoras de radio automáticamente
1. Pulse el botón POWER para encender el altavoz de torre.
2. Para cambiar a modo radio FM, pulse el botón SOURCE.
3. Para empezar la búsqueda automática de emisoras de radio, pulse y
mantenga el botón TUN/MEN durante 2 segundos en el control remoto.
Cuando termine la búsqueda, se guardarán automáticamente las emisoras
de radio disponibles. La secuencia guardada desde P01 a 030.
4. Para entrar al modo preestablecido, pulse el botón TUN/MEN en el
control remoto.
5. Para seleccionar una emisora preestablecida, pulse el botón
TUN+/CLOCK+ o TUN-/CLOCK- en el control remoto.
Guardar emisoras de radio manualmente
1. Siga las instrucciones y sintonice la radio FM.
2. Pulse TUN+ o TUN- en el panel superior. Para ajustar una frecuencia de
radio, pulse los botones TUN+/CLOCK+ o TUN-/CLOCK- en el control remoto.
3. Pulse y mantenga el botón MEM/CLOCK durante 2 segundos en el control
remoto. Para asignar la ubicación de una emisora, pulse los botones
TUN+/CLOCK+ o TUN-/CLOCK-, la pantalla destellará en la ubicación
preestablecida de la emisora. Para confirmar la ubicación, pulse de nuevo el
botón MEM/CLOCK hasta terminar todos los ajustes.
4. Para entrar al modo preestablecido, pulse el botón TUN/MEN del control
remoto.
5. Para seleccionar una emisora preestablecida, pulse el botón
TUN+/CLOCK+ o TUN-/CLOCK- en el control remoto.
RELOJ
1. Pulse el botón POWER para apagar el equipo.
2. Para seleccionar 12 o 24 horas, pulse y mantenga durante 2 segundos el
botón POWER del control remoto o pulse en el panel superior.
3. Para configurar el tiempo, pulse y mantenga durante 3 segundos el
botón MEM/CLOCK del control remoto.
4. Para ajustar la hora, pulse el botón TUN+/CLOCK + o TUN-/CLOCK- del
control remoto.
5. Para confirmar los ajustes, pulse de nuevo el botón MEM/CLOCK del
control remoto e irá automáticamente para el minuto definido.
6. Para ajustar los minutos, pulse el botón TUN+/CLOCK + o TUN-/CLOCK-
del control remoto.
7. Pulse de nuevo el botón MEM/CLOCK del control remoto.
TEMPORIZADOR SLEEP
1. Pulse el botón POWER para encender el equipo.
2. Para seleccionar los ajustes preestablecidos del temporizador, pulse el
botón SLEEP repetidamente. Los tiempos preestablecidos admitidos son: 5,
10, 15, 30, 60, 90 minutos.
3. Cuando termine el tiempo de sueño definido, la torre se apagará
automáticamente.
AJUSTE DE ALARMA
1. Pulse el botón POWER para encender el altavoz de torre.
2. Pulse el botón POWER y seleccione el modo FM en el control remoto.
Para seleccionar la frecuencia de radio pretendida, pulse el botón
TUN+/CLOCK + o el botón TUN-/CLOCK.
3. Para apagar, pulse el botón POWER del control remoto.
4. Para ajustar la alarma, pulse el botón alarma del control remoto.
5. La hora en el visor LCD comenzarán a parpadear.
6. Para ajustar la hora, pulse el botón TUN+/CLOCK + o TUN-/CLOCK- del
control remoto.
7. Para confirmar los ajustes, pulse de nuevo el botón MEM/CLOCK del
control remoto e irá automáticamente para el minuto definido.
8. Para ajustar los minutos, pulse el botón TUN+/CLOCK + o TUN-/CLOCK-
del control remoto.
9. Para confirmar la configuración, pulse de nuevo el botón alarma, del
control remoto.
10. Cuando termine el tiempo de sueño, la alarma sonará en la emisora de
radio preestablecida.
11. Para cambiar la alarma a on u off, pulse el botón alarma, del control
remoto.
12. Pulse y mantenga el botón alarma, en el ícono de on u off.

Power Source
Before plugging in for the first time, read the following section
carefully.
This device should be operated only from a 220-240V AC, 50 Hz outlet.
Be sure that the power supply voltage of the area be used meets the
required voltage and you select the correct voltage setting for your device.
Power Cord
Do not place the set, a piece of furniture, etc on the power cord or pinch
the cord. Handle the power cord by the plug. Do not unplug the appliance
by pulling from the power cord and never touch the power cord with wet
hands as this could cause a short circuit or electric shock.
Never make a knot in the cord or tie it with other cords. The power cord
should be placed in such a way that they are not likely to be stepped on. A
damaged power cord can cause fire or give you an electric shock. When it is
damaged and needs to be replaced, it should be done by qualified
personnel.
Moisture and Water
Do not use this device in a humid and damp place (avoid the bathroom, the
sink in the kitchen, etc). Do not expose this device to rain or water, as this
may be dangerous and do not place objects filled with liquids, such as
flower vases, on top.
If any solid object or liquid falls into the cabinet, unplug the connected
device(s) immediately and have it checked by qualified personnel before
operating it any further.
Cleaning
Before cleaning, unplug this device from the wall outlet. Do not use an
aggressive liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use a soft and dry cloth.
Ventilation
The slots and openings on the device are intended for ventilation and to
ensure reliable operation. To prevent overheating, these opening must not
be blocked or covered in anyway. When installing this unit make sure to
leave space suflcient around the unit to ensure the ventilation to improve
heat radiation.
Do not expose the unit to extreme conditions of heat, cold or moisture.
Heat and Flames
The device should not be placed near to open flames or sources of intense
heat such as an electric heater. Ensure that no open flame sources, such as
candles, are placed on top of the device. Batteries should not be exposed to
excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
Lightning
In case of storm and lightning or when going on holiday, disconnect the
power cord from the wall outlet.
Replacement Parts
When replacement parts are required, make sure that the service technician
has used replacement parts, which are specified by the manufacturer or
have the same specifications as the original one. Unauthorized
substitutions may result in fire, electrical shock or other hazards. Please
contact the brand or manufacturer that will redirect you to the nearest
technical service which will supply or change the replacement parts
Servicing
Please refer all servicing to qualified personnel of the brand. Do not
remove the cover yourself as this may result in an electric shock.

Waste Disposal
Instructions for waste disposal:
- Packaging and packaging aids are recyclable and should principally be

- Batteries, including those which are heavy metal-free, should not be
disposed of with household waste. Please dispose of used batteries in an
environmentally friendly manner. Find out about the legal regulations
which apply in your area- Do not try to recharge batteries, can have a
danger of explosion. Replace batteries only with the same or equivalent
type.

where you purchased the product.
Disconnecting the Device
The mains plug is used to disconnect the device from the mains and
therefore it must remain readily operable.
Headphone Volume
In your device has headphones jack, please note that excessive sound
pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
Installation
To prevent injury, this device must be securely attached to the wall in
accordance with the installation instructions when mounted to the wall (if
the option is available).
Warning:
Do not leave your device in standby or operating mode when you leave
your house. The Standby
/ On button does not fully switch oV this product. Moreover the device
continues to consume power in standby mode. In order to separate the
device completely from mains, the mains plug has to be pulled from the
mains socket. Because of that the device should be set up in a way,
that an unobstructed access to the mains socket is guaranteed, so that in
case of emergency the mains plug can be pulled immediately. During
periods of prolonged non-use, the device should be disconnected from the
mains power supply.
Electrical device not in the hands of children
Never let children use electrical devices unsupervised. Children cannot
always recognize any possible dangers. Batteries / accumulators can be life
threatening when swallowed. Store batteries out of the reach of children.
In case of swallowing a battery, medical aid has to be sought immediately.
Also keep the packaging away from children as there is danger of
suffocation.

CONTROLS

2. SOURCE button : Press repeatedly to select the audio inputs to BT
(Bluetooth receiver), USB, AUX in, LINE in or FM radio.
3. POWER button: Hold 3 second to select 12 or 24 hour in the standby.
Touch to turn the tower speaker oV or on.
4. TUN-: In FM mode, one touch to navigate down radio frequency. Press
and hold a second to switch to auto-search radio station. In USB mode
and in bluetooth mode, one touch to backward track.
5. VOLUME -: Press to decrease the volume level.
6. TUN +: In FM mode, one touch to navigate down radio frequency.
Press and hold a second to switch to auto-search radio station. In USB
mode and bluetooth mode, one touch to forward track.
7. VOLUME +: Press to increase the volume.
8. BALANCE: Rotate the BALANCE knob to adjust L/R track volume.
9. MIC VOL: Rotate the MIC knob to adjust the mic volume.
10. ECHO: Rotate the ECHO knob to adjust the echo level.
11. MIC 1 jack.

13. FM antenna.

18. Microphone hanging arm
1. POWER button: Press to turn the unit on or oV.
2. MEM/CLOCK button (In standby). Press to cycle through saved radio
stations. Press to set the time.
3. TUN/MEM button: Press 3 seconds to search automatically and save FM
stations. Press key enter call-out saved radio stations.
4. MUSIC button: Press to switch to the EQ optimized for music.
5. TREBLE buttons: Press to adjust the treble up or down at MUSIC mode.
6. SOURCE button: Press to switch to Bluetooth, USB, AUX in, LINE in or FM.
7. MUTE/PAIR button: Press to mute the sound, press again to resume, press
3 seconds to exit bluetooth.
8. ALARM button: Press to set the alarm. (In standby). Hold press to on
alarm icon or off alarm icon.
9. SLEEP button: Press repeatedly to set the sleep time.
10. TUN-/CLOCK- button: Press backward to adjust radio frequency. •
Press backward to adjust the time. Press backward to select those saved
stations.
11. TUN+/CLOCK+ button: Press to navigate up radio frequency. •
Press to navigate down the time. Press forward to select those saved
stations.
12. MOVIE button: Press to switch to the EQ optimized for movie sound.
13. VOICE button: Press to switch to the EQ optimized for dialogue.
14. BASS buttons: Press to adjust the bass up or down at MUSIC mode.
15. VOLUME buttons: Press to adjust the volume.
16. SKIP BACK: In Bluetooth mode and in USB mode, press to skip forward
track.
17. Play/Pause: In Bluetooth mode, press to play or pause a track.
18. SKIP FOWARD: In Bluetooth mode in USB mode, press to skip backward
track.
POWER SOURCE
Insert the small plug from the supplied AC/DC adapter to the DC in jack on
the unit. Insert the AC/DC adapter to DC in jack on the unit.
BATTERIES INSTALLATION (REMOTE CONTROL)
1. Push the tab, then slide out the battery tray as the figure on the right.
2. Replace the old button cell by a new CR 2025 button cell as the polarity
markings on the remote control.
3. Close the battery tray.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS:
Follow these the size and type of battery specified.
1. Use only the size and type of battery specified.
2. Be sure the follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as
indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may cause
damage to the device.
3. If the battery in the device is consumed or the device is not to be used for
a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury
from possible battery leakage.
4. Do not try to recharge the battery not intended to be recharged; it can
overheat and rupture.
5. The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire
or the like.
6. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior the battery
installation.
7. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and
Carbon- zine) or old batteries with fresh ones.
AUTOMATIC POWER OFF FUNCTION
The tower speaker will turn to standby mode after 60 minutes if an
external device connecting to LINE in, RCA or BT is disconnected or the
volume is too close to mute.
INSTALLING THE BASE TO THE TOWER
1. Take out the base and a piece of screw Ø10×28mm (supplied).
2. Matches those pillars of the tower (at the bottom) with the appropriate
holes from the base.
3. Screws up with screw Ø10×28mm.
CONNECTING THE MICROPHONE
Insert the microphone plug into MIC JACK 1 and MIC JACK 2.
BASIC OPERATION
AUX IN
1. Connect the Aux out jack from the external audio player (such like DVD
player, TV, VCR …etc.) to the AUX IN
jacks on the rear of tower speaker by the supplied RCA connection cable as
the figure.
2. Connect the tower speaker to the power as previous procedures. The
Standby indicator will turn on.
3. Press the POWER button on the tower speaker or Remote Control to
power on the tower speaker.
4. Press the SOURCE button on the unit repeatedly or the Remote Control
to turn to AUX mode.
5. Power on the connected external player and start playback as usual.
6. Press the volume buttons to adjust volume level.
7. Press the TREBLE buttons on the Remote Control to adjust treble as
desired.
8. Press the BASS buttons on the Remote Control to adjust BASS as desired.
9. Press the EQ preset mode buttons MUSIC; MOVIE or VOICE to turn on the
preset EQ effect as desired.
10. Press the MUTE button to turn off the sound, press again to resume.
11. When finished listening, press POWER button on the tower speaker or
Remote Control to power Off (Standby mode) the Speaker.
LINE IN
1. Connect the Headphone/Earphone; Line out jack from the external audio
player such like MP3 player; Discman … etc) to the LINE IN jacks on the rear
of tower speaker by the supplied Line In connection cable as the figure
below:
2. Connect the tower speaker to the power as previous procedures. The
Standby indicator will turn on.
3. Press the POWER button on the tower speaker or Remote Control to
power on the tower speaker.
4. Press the SOURCE button on the unit repeatedly to turn to LINE mode.
5. Power on the connected external player and start playback as usual.
6. Other operations are same as AUX IN mode.
USB
1. Insert the USB device to the USB port on the rear of tower speaker.
2. Connect the tower speaker to the power as previous procedures. The
Standby indicator will turn on.
3. Press the POWER button on the tower speaker or Remote Control to
power on the tower speaker.
4. Press the SOURCE button on the unit repeatedly to turn to USB mode.
5. Power on the connected external player and start playback as usual.
6. Other operations are same as AUX IN mode.
BLUETOOTH
Initial pairing:
1. Switch on the tower speaker. Press the SOURCE button and select
Bluetooth mode.
2. LED display Bluetooth icon “BT” will blink non-stop in searching for
device.
3. When a device is found, it will show the name “BTW-40K” If the device
require a password, enter "0000" to pair with the tower speaker.
Re-pairing:
1. Switch on the tower speaker. Press the SOURCE button and select
Bluetooth mode.
2. Bluetooth icon “BT” will blink 3 seconds and it is automatically finding
the last device it was paired with. When the device is found, it can play
back directly.
3. If there is no device found, the Bluetooth icon “BT” will continue to blink
non- stop. Enter password to start with or press SOURCE button to select
FM, AUX in or LINE in.
(Bluetooth SET UP) NOTE:
1. If Tower has Bluetooth connected to a device, you can press and hold the
MUTE/PAIR button 3 seconds to exit this device in order to pair the device
with another Bluetooth device.
2. The maximum transmission between the Bluetooth speaker and a device
is 10 meters or 32 feet.
3. Interference may occur during playback when using the Bluetooth
function near other wireless devices. If playback through Bluetooth is
problematic, move the Bluetooth speaker and the playback device to a
different location, or use the 3.5mm audio cable jack instead of the
Bluetooth function.
RADIO
FM Antenna
Adjust the FM Wire Antenna at the rear panel to get the best reception
signal.
Tuning the FM radio
1. Press the POWER button to turn the tower speaker on.
2. Press the SOURCE button to switch to FM radio mode.
3. Press the TUN+/CLOCK+ or TUN-/CLOCK- buttons on the remote to tune
the FM radio.
4. There are 30 preset stations available.
Automatically saving radio stations
1. Press the POWER button to turn the tower speaker on.
2. Press the SOURCE button to switch to FM radio mode.
3. Press and hold TUN/MEM button 2 seconds on the remote to start auto-
searching radio stations. After finish searching, it will automatically save
available radio stations. The saving sequence is P01……030.
4. Press the TUN/MEN button on the remote control to enter the preset
mode.
5. Press the remote TUN+/CLOCK+ and TUN-/CLOCK- button to select a
preset station.
Manually saving radio stations
1. Follow the instructions and tune the FM radio.
2. Touch the TUN+ or TUN- one the top panel. Or press the TUN+/CLOCK+
or TUN-/ CLOCK- buttons on the remote to adjust a desired radio frequency.
3. Press and hold 2 seconds the MEM/CLOCK button on the remote control.
Display will flash with preset station location, e.g. P01….P02… etc. Press the
TUN+/CLOCK+ or TUN-/CLOCK- button to assign a station location. Press
MEM/CLOCK again to confirm its location until finish all settings.
4. Press the TUN/MEN button on the remote control to enter preset mode.
5. Press the remote TUN+/CLOCK+ and TUN-/CLOCK- button to select a
preset station.
RELOJ
1. Press the POWER button to switch off the unit.
2. Press and hold 2 seconds the POWER button on the remote control or
touch it on unit top panel to select 12 or 24 hour.
3. Press and hold 3 seconds MEM/CLOCK button on the remote control to
set the time.
4. Press the TUN+/CLOCK + or TUN-/CLOCK- button on the remote control
to adjust up or down the hour.
5. Press MEM/CLOCK button again on the remote control to confirm the
setting and it will automatically go to minute setting.
6. Press the TUN+/CLOCK + or TUN-/CLOCK- button on the remote control
to adjust up or down the minute.
7. Press MEM/CLOCK button again on the remote control to confirm the
setting.
SLEEP
1. Press the POWER button to switch on the unit.
2. Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to select the preset set timer. Time
presets available are 5, 10, 15, 30, 60, 90 minute.
3. After the set sleep time has expired, the tower bar will automatically
power off.
ALARMA
1. Press the POWER button to turn the tower speaker on.
2. Press the POWER button and select the FM mode on the remote control.
Press the TUN+/CLOCK + or TUN-/CLOCK- button to select the desired radio
frequency.
3. Press the POWER button on the remote control to switch off the power.
4. Press the ALARM button on the remote control to set the alarm.
5. The time on the LCD display will begin blinking.
6. Press the TUN+/CLOCK + or TUN-/CLOCK- button on the remote control
to adjust up or down the hour.
7. Press MEM/CLOCK button again on the remote control to confirm the
setting and it will automatically go to minute setting.
8. Press the TUN+/CLOCK + or TUN-/CLOCK- button on the remote control
to adjust up or down the minute.
9. Press the ALARM button again on the remote control to confirm the
setting.
10. After the set sleep time has expired, the ALARM will ring the preset
radio station.
11. Press the ALARM button on the remote control to switch on or off the
alarm setting.
12. Press and hold ALARM button to on alarm icon or off alarm icon.
