RIESGO DE CHOQUE

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
• No coloque objetos pesados sobre el cable de poder ni lo coloque cerca de fuentes de calor.
• Desconecte el cable de poder del enchufe mas no del cable.
• En caso de que observe alguna falla en el cable de poder para que sea revisado y reparado.
• No coloque la unidad en lugares cerrados ni la cubra con el fin de evitar el aumento de la
temperatura interna.
• No exponga la unidad a los rayos directos del sol ni la coloque cerca de fuentes de calor.
• No coloque equipos magnéticos cerca de la unidad, como por ejemplo parlantes.
• No coloque ningún contenedor con agua u otros líquidos cerca de la unidad.
• Mantenga la unidad en posición horizontal y no coloque objetos pesados sobre ella.
• Si no va a utilizar la unidad por un periodo prolongado, desconecte el cable de poder y retire la
batería de la unidad.
• No introduzca los dedos ni otros objetos en la unidad.
• Tenga en cuenta estas situaciones en que se puede presentar condensación en el lente: justo al
conectar la unidad, si se ha colocado en un lugar muy húmedo o con vapor, si la unidad se ha
movido de un lugar frío a un lugar caliente.
• Desconecte el cable de poder antes de limpiar la unidad. Utilice una prenda húmeda suave. No
utilice detergentes ni productos abrasivos ya que pueden dañar el acabado. Tampoco utilice gran
cantidad de líquido para evitar que ingrese al interior de la unidad.
• No intente reparar la unidad usted mismo. Remita toda revisión, mantenimiento y reparación a
personal de servicio técnico calificado.

MANTENIMIENTO DE LOS DISCOS
• Sostenga los discos por el borde. Intente no tocar con los dedos la parte brillante del disco
(almacenamiento de datos).
• No pegue etiquetas sobre el disco.
• Tenga precaución de no rayar la superficie del disco.
• Cuando se reproduce un disco, la velocidad de giro es muy alta. No utilice ningún disco dañado,
rayado o doblado para evitar daños a la unidad.
• Si el disco tiene huellas dactilares o suciedad afectará la calidad de la lectura del disco.
• Utilice una prenda suave para limpiar los discos del centro hacia afuera. Si el disco se encuentra
muy sucio utilice una prenda suave y húmeda. No utilice detergentes, benzina, thinner, alcohol u
otros productos abrasivos ya que éstos pueden dañar el disco.
• Guarde el disco en su caja original para evitar que se dañe.
• No exponga los discos a altas temperaturas, humedad ni a los rayos directos del sol para evitar que
se dañen.

BATERÍAS DEL CONTROL REMOTO
1. Retire la tapa del compartimiento de baterías en la parte posterior del
control remoto.
2. Coloque dos baterías AAA.
3. Coloque de nuevo la tapa.
Nota
• No utilice baterías recargables.
• No mezcle baterías nuevas con viejas ni combine marcas.
• Cuando observe que el control remoto se comporta de manera deficiente, es momento de
reemplazar las baterías.
• Si no va a utilizar el control remoto por un tiempo prolongado retire las baterías con el fin de evitar
que se derrame el líquido interior y que haya corrosión.
• No coloque el control remoto en lugares con alta temperatura.
• No desarme el control remoto.
• No permita que haya una luz intensa entre el control remoto y la unidad para evitar que la señal
infrarroja se desvíe o se debilite por la interferencia de la luz.
• Utilice el control remoto en un rango de 5 m y un ángulo máximo de 30°.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LOS BOTONES
Nota: Algunos botones sólo se encuentran en el control remoto o en la unidad, y otros se encuentran en
el control remoto y en la unidad.
Encender/Apagar
Presione este botón para encender y apagar la unidad.
OSD
Muestra el estado de operación del video. Se pueden utilizar los botones numéricos para introducir
números o seleccionar una pista o capítulo.
Configuración
Utilice este botón para entrar y salir del menú. Utilice los botones de dirección para mover el cursor o
ajustar los valores en el menú.
Enter/OK
Presione este botón para ingresar a un elemento en el menú o para confirmar y ejecutar una selección.
Reproducción Lenta
Utilice este botón para realizar la reproducción del vídeo en cámara lenta. Cada vez que lo presione
cambia la velocidad en las siguientes proporciones: 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/7, normal.
Repetición
Presione este botón para repetir la reproducción de los títulos seleccionados.
Video: Repetir sección, Repetir título.
SVCD/VCD/CD: Repetir pista, Repetir todo el disco.

Silenciador
Presione este botón para apagar el audio y la salida de los parlantes.
Anterior
Salta a la pista o capítulo anterior.
Siguiente
Salta a la pista o capítulo siguiente.
Modo
Presione este botón para cambiar entre las diferentes funciones de Video, AV o TV.
Video, USB, Tarjeta
Presione este botón para cambiar entre las interfaces de Video, USB y Tarjeta en el modo de DVD.
Audio
Presione este botón para cambiar entre los diferentes idiomas. Esta función sólo está disponible cuando
el disco tiene soporte para múltiples idiomas.
Subtítulo
Presione este botón para cambiar entre los idiomas de subtítulos disponibles. Sólo funciona cuando el
disco tiene soporte para subtítulos.
Ángulo
Presione este botón para visualizar diferentes ángulos de la imagen. Sólo funciona cuando el disco
tiene soporte para diferentes listas de ángulo.
Título/PBC
Presione este botón para detener la reproducción y regresar al menú del título del disco. Utilice los
botones de dirección para seleccionar el menú, o los botones anterior y siguiente para pasar las
páginas hasta llegar al menú que desea seleccionar, y presione los botones numéricos para
seleccionar.
Coloque un disco con función PBC. Cuando esta función esté encendida, la pantalla mostrará el menú
(el cual es diferente para cada disco), y presione los botones anterior y siguiente para pasar las páginas
hasta llegar al menú que desea seleccionar, y presione los botones numéricos para seleccionar.
Cuando esta función esté apagada usted puede seleccionar una pista de la interfaz del menú, y las
pistas se reproducirán en secuencia, o puede realizar una selección con los botones numéricos o los
botones anterior y siguiente. (La función PBC sólo funciona con VCD 2.0).
Regresar
En el modo de vídeo, presione este botón para regresar al menú cuando esté reproduciendo
Video/MP4.
Zoom
Presione este botón en el modo de vídeo para aumentar o disminuir el tamaño de la imagen. Cada vez
que presione el botón cambia de la siguiente forma: 2X, 3X, 4X, 1/2X, 1/3X, 1/4X, normal.

Menú
Presione este botón para regresar al menú superior cuando esté reproduciendo Video. Si está
reproduciendo un disco con función PBC, presione el botón para mostrar el menú PBC, y presione de
nuevo para cancelar. (Nota: Los formatos Video, VCD1.1, CD-DA y MP3 no tienen función PBC).
Ir A
Presione este botón para ir a un lugar específico de reproducción del disco. Utilice los botones
numéricos según necesite. Presione Enter para confirmar.
Play/Pausa
Presione este botón para iniciar y pausar la reproducción.
Detener
Utilice este botón para detener la reproducción.
Volumen+/Volumen-
Utilice estos botones para aumentar o reducir el volumen.
Adelantar y Retroceder
Presione estos botones para avanzar o retroceder a alta velocidad por las pistas. Cada vez que
presione los botones cambia en la siguiente velocidad: 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X, 32X, normal.
CARGAR LA UNIDAD
El reproductor cuenta con una batería de litio recargable. No tiene efecto en la memoria en caso de
descargarse. Puede cargarse en cualquier momento. Necesita aproximadamente 6 horas para cargarse
completamente. La batería totalmente cargada se puede utilizar hasta 2 horas.
Conecte el adaptador AC/DC en la entrada DC de la unidad y el otro extremo a un tomacorriente AC
100V-240V. Recuerde apagar la unidad antes de comenzar a cargarla. El indicador LED de carga
cambia de color rojo a verde indicando que la batería está totalmente cargada.
USO Y MANTENIMIENTO DE LA BATERÍA RECARGABLE
• La temperatura de operación de la batería recargable es de 0ºC a 45ºC.
• Desconecte la unidad cuando no la esté utilizando, a menos que
la esté cargando.
• Es normal que se genere calor durante la reproducción.
• Evite golpear la unidad con otros objetos y manténgala lejos de
la humedad y el calor.
CONEXIÓN AL TELEVISOR
La unidad se puede conectar al televisor de tal forma que pueda
disfrutar de los contenidos en pantalla grande. Utilice el cable AV
para conectar la salida AV de la unidad y la entrada AV del televisor.
Utilice un cable coaxial para conectar la salida coaxial de esta
unidad a la entrada coaxial de un amplificador de energía (si está
disponible).

CONFIGURACIÓN DEL SISTEMA
OPERACIÓN DEL MENÚ
1. Presione el botón Configuración en el control remoto o en la unidad para mostrar el menú de
configuración.
2. Presione los botones izquierda y derecha para seleccionar un ítem. El submenú del ítem
seleccionado se mostrará debajo instantáneamente.
3. Presione los botones arriba y abajo para seleccionar un ítem en el submenú, luego presione Ok,
Enter, Derecha para ingresar. Utilice los botones arriba y abajo para seleccionar una opción, luego
presione OK/Enter para confirmar o Izquierda para cancelar.
4. Luego presione los botones arriba y abajo para continuar configurando los otros ítems en el
submenú.
5. Presione el botón Izquierda para regresar al menú superior.
6. Presione nuevamente el botón configuración o el ícono X, y presione Enter/OK para salir.
CONFIGURACIÓN GENERAL
Hay 6 ítems en esta página: Pantalla de Televisión, Marca de Ángulo, OSD, Idioma, Subtítulos,
Protector de Pantalla, Última Memoria y Letras de MP3.
PANTALLA DE TELEVISIÓN
4:3 PANORÁMICA. Si la unidad está conectada a un televisor convencional, la imagen en pantalla
ancha se mostrará en su relación de aspecto nativa con cortes a la izquierda y a la derecha.
4:3 FORMATO BUZÓN. Si la unidad está conectada a un televisor convencional, la imagen en pantalla
ancha se mostrará en su relación de aspecto nativa con bordes negros en la parte superior e inferior.
16:9 ANCHO. Seleccione esta opción si la unidad está conectada a un televisor de pantalla ancha. La
imagen se mostrará en pantalla completa en su relación de aspecto nativa mientras que la imagen 4:3
se ensanchará horizontalmente para caber en la pantalla.
MARCA DE ÁNGULO
Al activar esta función, al colocar un disco que cuente con múltiples ángulos de cámara, la marca de
ángulo aparecerá en pantalla. Luego podrá observar el vídeo desde diferentes ángulos presionando el
botón Ángulo en el control remoto. Si no desea utilizar esta función desactívela.
OSD
Con esta función ajusta el idioma de la interfaz en pantalla.
SUBTÍTULOS
Al activar esta función, al colocar un disco que cuente con múltiples subtítulos, éstos aparecerán en
pantalla. También puede utilizar el botón Subtítulos en el control remoto para mostrarlos u ocultarlos. Si
no desea utilizar esta función desactívela.
PROTECTOR DE PANTALLA
Si la imagen permanece estática en la pantalla, por ejemplo cuando un disco se pausados se detiene,
por varios minutos, aparecerá un protector de pantalla. Para volver al modo normal presione cualquier
botón. Usted puede activar o desactivar esta función.

ÚLTIMA MEMORIA
Cuando se activa esta función, al detener la reproducción, la unidad recordará el punto donde se detuvo
y al reproducir el mismo disco la siguiente vez comenzará en este punto exacto. También puede
desactivar esta función si lo desea.
LETRAS DE MP3
Si la función se encuentra activa la unidad mostrará las letras de MP3 en pantalla.
CONFIGURACIÓN DE AUDIO
SALIDA DE PARLANTE
Salida SPDIF
Apagado: no habrá salida de señal de audio digital.
PCM: la salida de señal de audio digital estará en formato PCM. Normalmente, este modo se utiliza
para señales de CD de audio.
CONFIGURACIÓN DIGITAL
Dual Mono
Estéreo: salida de audio por ambos canales por medio de parlantes FL y FR.
L-Mono: salida de audio sólo por el canal izquierdo vía parlantes FL y FR.
R-Mono: salida de audio sólo por el canal derecho vía parlantes FL y FR.
Mix-Mono: salida de audio de señal promedio de los canales izquierdo y derecho vía parlantes FL y FR.
Nota: Esta función sólo aplica para discos con señal digital de 2 canales.
Dinámico
Al observar películas con gran alcance dinámico en bajo volumen, por ejemplo en la noche, usted
puede ajustar el valor dinámico para evitar la pérdida de detalles de sonido que resultan del bajo
volumen.
CONFIGURACIÓN DE VÍDEO
Este menú se utiliza para configurar la calidad de la imagen de LCD de la unidad.
PANEL
Ajuste los siguientes ítems:
Nitidez: las opciones son Alto, Medio y Bajo.
Brillo, Contraste, Gama, Color y Saturación: utilice los botones de dirección izquierda y derecha para
ajustar el valor y presione Enter para confirmar.
CONFIGURACIÓN DE PREFERENCIA
Si no hay ningún disco en la bandeja, la bandeja está abierta o el disco está detenido, esta función no
se puede configurar.

PBC (Control de Reproducción)
Encendido: activa la función PCB. Al reproducir un disco con función PBC tal como VCD 2.0, SVCD,
etc., presione el botón Menú para regresar al menú PBC.
Apagado: deshabilita la función PBC.
AUDIO, SUBTÍTULOS Y MENÚ DE DISCO
Seleccione el idioma de audio, de subtítulos y de disco de su preferencia. También puede cambiar el
idioma con el botón Audio y el botón Subtítulos en el control remoto.
CONTROL DE PADRES
Esta función le permite al usuario establecer una censura máxima de las películas que se pueden
observar. Las películas con mayor censura no serán reproducidas a menos que se introduzca la
contraseña. La contraseña de fábrica es 0000. Nota: sólo es útil con los discos que permitan esta
función.
CONTRASEÑA
Activar o desactivar esta función.
RESTABLECER CONFIGURACIÓN DE FÁBRICA
Utilice esta función para volver a los valores originales de fábrica.
CONFIGURACIÓN DE CONTRASEÑA
MODO DE CONTRASEÑA
Aquí puede activar o desactivar la función de contraseña. Se debe introducir la contraseña correcta y
presionar Enter antes de cambiar la opción en este ítem. La contraseña por defecto es 8888.
CONTRASEÑA
Aquí se restaura la contraseña. La contraseña por defecto es 8888 y está siempre activa incluso si la
contraseña se ha reiniciado.
REPRODUCCIÓN
GENERAL
1. Después de conectar la unidad, enciéndala.
2. Presione el botón Abrir para abrir la bandeja del disco. Coloque un disco boca arriba.
3. Cierre la bandeja del disco. La unidad comenzará a reproducirlo de forma automática.
REPRODUCCIÓN DE DISCO
1. Después de colocar un disco MP3 o MP4, se mostrará un menú que muestra el contenido del disco.
2. Utilice los botones de dirección arriba y abajo para seleccionar un archivo o una carpeta.
3. Presione el botón OK para ingresar a la carpeta seleccionada. Se mostrará la lista de archivos que
contiene.
4. Presione el botón OK para reproducir el archivo seleccionado.
5. Cuando el disco se detenga, presione el botón izquierda para regresar al menú anterior.

REPRODUCCIÓN DE IMÁGENES
• Coloque un disco con imágenes en la unidad, y se reproducirá de forma automática.
• Presione el botón menú para conocer el contenido del disco.
• Utilice los botones arriba y abajo para seleccionar una imagen, luego presione Enter para comenzar
la reproducción a partir de la imagen seleccionada.
• Presione el botón pausa para causar la reproducción y play para reanudarla.
• Utilice la función de repetición según necesite.
• Utilice los botones anterior siguiente para moverse a través de las imágenes.
• Utilice los botones izquierda y derecha (en el control remoto) para girar la imagen durante la
reproducción.
• Utilice la función zoom para aumentar o disminuir el tamaño de la imagen. Cuando la imagen sea
grande, puede utilizar los botones de dirección para moverse a través de la imagen.
REPRODUCCIÓN DE USB Y TARJETA SD
• Coloque una memoria USB en la ranura correspondiente al igual que una tarjeta SD.
• Utilice los botones normales de reproducción para manejar los archivos que allí se encuentren.
• Utiliza el control remoto para desplazarse por los archivos disponibles.
• La unidad tiene un soporte máximo de 8 GB para USB y Tarjeta SD.
COPIADO DE DISCOS
Esta función es útil para discos MP3 y CD.
• Al reproducir un disco MP3, mueva el cursor a la pista MP3 que desea copiar y presione el botón
Subtítulos en el panel frontal con el control remoto, para mostrar la función CD RIP en pantalla.
Presione el botón Comenzar para dar inicio a la copia del archivo que ha seleccionado. La segunda
línea muestra el progreso de copiado del archivo, de 1% a 100%. Al comenzar a copiar el archivo, la
unidad detendrá automáticamente la reproducción del archivo en curso. Después de terminar de
copiar el archivo, la unidad irá directamente a él y lo reproducirá.
• Al reproducir un CD, con el fin de hacer la copia en el menor tiempo posible, presione el botón
Pausa primero, y luego el botón Subtítulos en el control remoto o en el panel frontal; mostrará el
menú de configuración para la función de copiado, y luego puede hacer los ajustes que desee.

Utilice esta lista para resolver problemas simples que pueden presentarse en la operación de su unidad.

PLACEMENT AND MAINTAIN FOR THE UNIT
1. Please do not put the unit in a sealed place or cover something onto the unit, to avoid the unit

2. Please do not expose the unit under the sunshine directly or place it near the heat source equipments.
3. Please do not place the unit near the magnetic field such as speakers etc.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF VIDEO DISCS
Please take out the disc by holding the brim of the discs as below, please try to not touch the shinning
side of the disc (Data Storage Side)
Please don’t attach any labels on the side of the disc. Do not scratch the surface of the disc.
When the disc is being played, the rotate speed will be very high. Please do not use any damaged,
scratched, cracked or bent discs to avoid causing unit damaged.
Fingerprints or Dirt on a disc will impair the reflective light of the disc and will affect the signal’s quality
directly. The poorer the signal’s quality is, the poorer the playing effect is. Please use the soft cloth to
wipe the disc from the disc center towards the outside direction.

If the disc is very dirty, please use a wet soft cloth to wipe it firstly, and then use the dry soft cloth to
wipe it again. Please do not use detergents, benzene, thinner, antistatic liquid or other solvents.
Otherwise it will damage the surface of the disc.
Please put the discs into the original boxes where they are so as not to bend them. Do not put the
discs at the place of high temperature, high humidity or direct sunshine, because the bad environment
will also make the discs damaged.

The effect will be excellent when the remote control is operated within 5m distance and within the angle
of 30°.
KEY FUNCTION
Note: Some of the following buttons are on the remote control only, and some are on the unit
only. And the others are on both of the unit and the remote control.
POWER: Switch on/off the unit.
OSD: Display the working status of Video
The digit keys can be used to input numbers or make selection of a track or a chapter.
SETUP: Press to enter/exit the setup menu.
The direction keys can be used to move the cursor, or adjust the value in the menu.
ENTER/OK: Press it to enter an item in the menu or to confirm and execute a
selection.
SLOW: Slow motion playing SLOW 1/2, SLOW 1/3, SLOW 1/4, SLOW 1/5, SLOW 1/6, SLOW 1/7.
REPEAT: Press this button to repeatedly play the selected titles/sections (Video) or a single song/whole
disc (VCD). Press [REPEAT] once, the modes on the screen is as the following:
For Video - Repeat Off / Section Repeat / Title Repeat
For SVCD/VCD/CD - Repeat Off / Single Song Repeat / Whole Disc Repeat
MUTE: Press this button to turn off the audio and speaker outputs.
Skip to the previous chapter/track.
Skip to the next chapter/track.
MODE: Press this button to switch the different functions between VIDEO/AV/TV modes.
VIDEO/USB/CARD: Press this button to switch among V IDEO/USB/CARD interfaces in the DVD mode
AUDIO: Press [Audio] to switch among multiple audio languages. This function works only when the
disc supports multiple audio languages.
SUBTITLE: Press this key repeatedly to switch/show the subtitle(s) or turn off the subtitle function.

ANGLE: Press to switch the viewing angles. (Note: This function only works with those discs encoded
with multiple camera angles.)
KEY FUNCTION
TITLE/PBC: Press this button to stop playing and returns to the title menu of the disc. Press Direction
Buttons to select the menu, or press [Previous] / [Next] button to turn the pages until you get the menu
with title numbers you want to select, and press number button for selection.
Insert a disc with PBC function. When PBC is on, the screen shall display menu (which differs from discs
with different contents), and press [Previous] / [Next] button to turn the pages until the page containing
the title track serial number; then press the Number Buttons for selection. When PCB is off, you can
not select a song from the menu interface, disc songs will be played in sequence, or you may make your
selection with Number Buttons or [Previous] / [Next] button. (PBC function only works for VCD 2.0)
RETURN: In the VDIEO mode, press this button to return to menu when playing VIDEO/MP4.
ZOOM: Press this button in the state of VIDEO to enlarge the view by X2, X3, X4 in order, or to minify
the view by X1/2, X1/3, X1/4, OFF in order.
MENU: Press to return to the superior menu when playing VIDEO. When playing disc encoded with PBC
function, press to display the PBC menu. Press it again to disable the PBC function. (Note: VIDEO,
VCD1.1, CD-DA and MP3 disc have no PBC function.)
GOTO: Press [GOTO], according to different types and contents of discs, the display on the screen is as
the following:
Press [GOTO] once when the disc is being played back, TV screen shall display the disk type, the
number of titles/sections (songs) in the disc, the title number/section (song) number of the currently
playing item, and play time of the section (song).
Input a designated title, section (song), and time, and then press [Enter] to activate the designated title,
section (song) and play time directly.
PLAY/PAUSE: Press this button once, and the player shall temporarily stop playing, image and sound
shall stay at static state. Press [Play/Pause] again to resume normal playing.
STOP: Press this button to stop in playing state.
VOL+/VOL-: Press these buttons to increase or decrease the volume.
Fast forward playback. The available speed is 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X, 32X and normal speed.
Fast reverse playback. The available speed is 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X, 32X and normal speed (forward).

CHARGING THE UNIT
This player is powered by a Lithium-Polymer battery. It features high ratio of energy to weight. And it has
no memory effect and thus it can be recharged at any time regardless that it is fully or partially
discharged. It takes about 6 hours to fully charge the battery. And the fully charged battery can be used
for up to two hours.
Connect the attached AC/DC adapter to the DC INPUT jack on the unit, and then plug the adapter into a
100V - 240V AC outlet.
Note: Make sure to switch off the unit before charging. The charging-indicator LED changing from red to
green indicates that the battery has been fully charged.
Usage and Maintenance of the Rechargeable Battery
1. The working temperature of the rechargeable battery ranges from 0 to 45.
2. Always unplug the unit when it is not being used, unless it is being charged.
3. Heat is inevitably produced during the playback, when is normal. But do not use it for a long time.
4. Avoid colliding it with other objects and keep away from humidity and overheat.
CONNECTION TO TV
This unit can be connected to a TV so that you can enjoy the high
quality music, movies etc with a TV.
Use a AV cable to connect the AV OUT jack on the unit to the AV
IN jack of a TV.
Use a coaxial cable to connect the coaxial output of this unit to the
coaxial input (if available) of a power amplifier.
SYSTEM SETUP
Menu Operation
1. Press [SETUP] on the remote control or on the unit to show the setup menu.
2. Press [LEFT]/[RIGHT] to select an item. The submenu of the selected item will be shown below
instantly.

3. Press [UP]/[DOWN] to select an item in the submenu, then press [OK]/[ENTER]/[RIGHT] to enter.
Use [UP]/[DOWN] to select an option, then press [OK]/[ENTER] to confirm it or press [LEFT] to
cancel.
4. Then you can press [UP]/[DOWN] to continue to set other items in the submenu.
5. Press [LEFT] to go back to the superior menu of the current one.
6. Press [SETUP] again or highlight and press [ENTER]/[OK] to exit the setup menu.
1. GENERAL SETUP PAGE
There are six items in the GENERAL SETUP PAGE. They are TV DISPLAY, ANGLE MARK, OSD
LANGUAGE, CAPTIONS, SCREEN SAVER AND LAST MEMORY.
1.1 TV DISPLAY
4:3 PANSCAN
If the unit is connected to a conventional TV set, the wide-screen image will be displayed on the screen
in its native aspect ratio with some part on the left and right cut off.
4:3 LEFTER BOX
If the unit is connected to a conventional TV set, the wide-screen image will be displayed on the screen
in its native aspect ratio with black borders on the top and the bottom side.
16:9 WIDE: Select this option if the unit is connected to a wide-screen TV set. The wide-screen image
will be displayed in full screen in its native aspect ratio while the 4:3 image will be stretched out
horizontally to fit in the screen.
1.2 ANGLE MARK
Set this item ON. When a disc encoded with multiple camera angles is playing, the angle mark will
display on the screen. Then you can view the video of different camera angles by pressing [ANGLE] on
the remote control.
Set this item OFF to disable this function.
NOTE: This function only works with those discs encoded with closed captions.
1.3 OSD (On-Screen Display) LANGUAGE
Set the On-screen display language in this item.
1.4 CAPTIONS
Set this item ON. When a disc encoded with closed captions, the closed captions will be shown on the
screen. Set this item OFF to hide it.
You can also press [SUBTITLE] on the remote control to show or hide the closed captions.
NOTE: This function only works with those discs encoded with closed captions.
1.5 SCREEN SAVER
ON: If the image remains motionless on the screen, for example the disc is paused, stopped etc, for
several minites, a screen saver will appear on the screen. You can press any key or button to wake it up.
OFF: Disable the screen saver function.
1.6 LAST MEMORY
ON: Each item you turn off the unit or stop the disc, it will memorize the last play time. Next time you turn
on the unit and play the same disc, the unit will play from that memorized point.
OFF: Disable the last memory function.

ON:When display this will show the lyrics on the screen
OFF:When display this will off the lyrics.
2. AUDIO SETUP PAGE
2.1 SPEAKER SETUP
2.1.1 SPDIF OUTPUT
OFF: There will be no digital audio signal output.
PCM: The digital audio signal output will be in PCM format. Normally, this mode is used for audio CD
signals.
2.2 DIGITAL SETUP
2.2.1 DUAL MONO
STEREO: The player outputs the left channel audio and right channel audio via FL ad FR speaker
respectively.
L-MONO: The player outputs the left channel audio only via both the FL ad FR speaker.
R-MONO: The player outputs the right channel audio only via both the FL ad FR speaker.
MIX-MONOThe player outputs the average signal of the left channel and right channel audio via the FL
speaker and FR speaker.
NOTE: This function only applies to the Digital signal 2 channel discs.
2.3.2 DYNAMIC
When you watch films with large dynamic scope in low volume, for example at night, you can adjust the
dynamic value up to avoid losing sound details resulted from the low volume.
3. VIDEO SETUP PAGE
This menu is used to setup the picture quality of LCD of the unit.
3.1 Panel
Adjust these items by your perference.
3.1.1 SHARPNESS
There are three options (HIGH, MEDIUM and LOW) for you to choose in this item.
3.1.2 BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, GAMMA, HUE and SATURATION, LUMA DELAY
Enter these items respectively, use direction key [LEFT]/[RIGHT] to adjust the value, the press [ENTER]
to confirm it.
4. PREFERENCE SETUP
If there is no disc in the disc tray, the disc tray is open or the disc in the disc tray is stopped, this item is
available.
4.1 PBC (PLAY BACK CONTROL)
ON: Activate the PBC function. When playing disc encoded with PBC function such as VCD 2.0, SVCD
etc, press [MENU] to return to the PBC menu.
OFF: Disable the PBC function.

NOTE: This function only works with those discs encoded with PBC function such as VCD2.0, SVCD
etc.
VCD1.1, CD-DA and MP3 disc have no PBC menu.
4.2 AUDIO, SUBTITLE and DISC MENU
Select a preferred audio language, subtitle language and disc menu language in these items.
You can also change the audio language by pressing [AUDIO] and the subtitle language by pressing
[SUBTITLE] on the remote control.
NOTE: If the selected languages in these items are not available for the currently playing disc, the disc’s
default settings work.
4.3 PARENTAL
This item allows the user to set a maximum rating of the movies that can be viewed. Movies rated higher
than the level set for the kid safe lock can not be viewed without inputting the correct keywords. What’s
more, to key in the correct password is needed to reset the level. The default password is 0000.
NOTE: This function only works with those discs with parental function.
4.4 pass word

5. PASSWORD SETUP PAGE
5.1 PASSWORD MODE
You can switch on/off the password function in this item.
NOTE: You must key in the correct password and press [ENTER] before you change the option in this
item. The default password is8888.
5.2 PASSWORD
You can reset the password in this item.
NOTE: The default password (8888) is always active even if the password has been reset.
After all the connections was made correctly. Switch on the unit. Now, it is ready to service.
PLAYBACK
Loading and Playing a Disc
A. After connecting power to the unit, set the power switch to the ON position.
B. Push [OPEN] to open the disc tray. Place a disc in it with the label side facing up.
C. Close the disc tray. The unit will load the disc and start playing.

MP3/MPEG 4 Disc Playback
After the unit loads a MP3/MPEG4 disc, a menu showing the contents of the disc will display on the
screen.
1. Press the direction key [UP]/[DOWN] to select a file or a folder.
2.1 Press [OK] to enter the selected folder. The file(s) or/ and folder(s) in it will be listed instantly.
2.2 Press [OK] to begin to play the selected file.
3. When the disc is stopped, press [LEFT] to return to the superior menu.
Note: compatible with VIDEO, SVCD, VCD, CD,DTS CD-R/RW, Kodak Picture CD, JPEG, MP3, MP4,
AVI and other multi-media format discs etc.
Kodak Picture CD Playback
! Place a Kodak picture CD in the disc tray, then the unit will load the disc automatically.
! Press [] to display the menu showing the contents of the disc.
In the menu, use the direction keys [UP]/[DOWN] to select a picture, then press [ENTER]/[] to start the
playback from the selected picture.
[ ]: Press to pause the playback; Press it again or to resume the playback.
: Press it to begin a playback or resume playback.
[REPEAT]: Press repeatedly to switch the repeat modes (Single" Repeat One " Repeat Folder "
Folder " Cancel Repeat).
Press to skip to the previous/ next picture during playback.
[LEFT]/[RIGHT] (on the remote control): Press to rotate the picture counterclockwise/ clockwise during
the playback.
[ZOOM]: During the playback, press [ZOOM] repeatedly to zoom in/out the picture or return to the
original size. When the picture is zoomed in, the direction keys can be used to move the picture.

Insert a U drive or a card reader into the USB port. Press [SOURCE SELECT] to select USB mode to
play the readable files in it.

CD RIPPING FUNCTION
This function is suitable for the MP3 and CD Discs.
1. When you are playing the MP3 disc, move the cursor to the MP3 song which you wanted to copy,
press the SUBTITLE button on the remote control or panel, it will show “CD RIP” on the screen. Press
“Start”, it will begin to copy the file which you selected.
The second line shows the process for file copy, from 1% to100%. When beginning to copy the file,
the unit will stop the current playing file automatically. After finishing file copy, it will jump to the copied

file and play it.
2．When copying the CD disc, in order to finish the file copy at the soonest time, please press the
PAUSE key firstly, and then press the SUBTITLE button on the remote control or panel, it will pop up the
setup menu for COPY function, and then you can adjust it as you like.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Before resorting to maintenance service, please kindly check by yourself with the following chart.

Make sure your VIDEO is connected properly and all cable are securely
inserted into the appropriate jack.
Can not advance through a
movie
You can not advance through the opening credits and warning
information that appears at the beginning of movies because the disc is
programmed to prohibit that action.
The icon appears on

The feature or action can not be completed at this time
Because:
1. The disc software restrict it.
2. The disc software do not support the feature.
3. The feature is not available at the moment.
Picture is distorted
The disc might be damaged. Try another disc.
It is normal for some distortion to appear during forward or reverse
scan.
No forward or reverse scan
Some disc have section that prohibit rapid scanning or title and chapter
skip.
If you try to skip through the warning information and credits at
beginning of a movie often programmed to prohibit skipping through it.
The player breaks down
when a U drive or memory
card is inserted into the
player.
The connected U drive or the memory card is probably not of an original
version one.
The player can not play any U drive and memory card of non-original
version. In case the player breaks down, turn it off and unplug it from
the power supply. Then, connect it to the power supply and switch it on
again. The player will resume the normal status.
