with you. This guide has important instructions on how your new vacuum

works, including using (page 6), maintaining (pages 7-9), and if there is a

problem, troubleshooting (page 10).

Assembly

The only tool you will need to assemble your vacuum is a

Phillips screwdriver.

Place the

upper handle

onto the base

and push it

down. Then

attach the

handle with

the 2 screws

taped to the

handle in a

plastic bag.

Insert the extension wand

base and turn it to the right

to lock in place.

Insert the hose end into the

back of the vacuum and

twist right to lock in place.

NOTE: Flexible Pet Crevice Tool does not store on board.

Wrap hose up and around

the hose wrap on the

handle. Slide end of hose

into vacuum base.

Now, put your accessory tools on the vacuum and you’re ready to go!

Power On & Settings

Turn the dial on the foot of the vacuum to the

desired setting. If the dial is difficult to turn, tilt the

vacuum back slightly to take the weight off the foot

while turning.

towards you.

TIP: For optimal carpet cleaning performance, adjust to the lowest practical setting. If

your vacuum is difficult to push, adjust to the next higher setting.

Lowest setting – For low pile carpet or bare floors.

To pick up debris, it may be

necessary to move up one setting.

Medium setting – For medium pile carpet.

Highest setting – For high pile and most shag carpet.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of injury from moving parts while the

vacuum is turned on, always move the vacuum via the rolling wheels by using the

upper handle at the back of the vacuum. Do not carry the vacuum while it is running.

Always place vacuum on ﬂoor with handle in upright position when using tools.

NOTE: Rotating ﬂoor brush continues to rotate while tools are in use. Never place ﬁngers

under the vacuum when it is running. Never place Powerfoot on furniture or uneven

surfaces. Do not place vacuum close enough to objects to pull into rotating brush.

once again to turn

your vacuum OFF .

NOTE: Certain carpets and low humidity conditions may generate small static

discharges. Static discharges are entirely harmless and are not associated in any way

with the main power supply.

Automatic Cord Rewind

When you finish using your vacuum,

unplug it from the outlet. Hold onto

the plug and press the automatic cord

rewind button until it’s fully retracted.

If the cord doesn’t fully retract on the

first try, pull a little bit of cord out and

press the rewind button again.

To plug your vacuum in, gently pull the

cord out of the automatic cord rewind

and stop at the yellow mark on the

cord. Do not pull past the red mark.

Once you have the desired amount of

cord, plug it into the outlet.

from electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting checks.

Press the tank release button and pull

out to remove dirt tank.

After emptied,

place tank back

on vacuum and

press firmly until

you hear “click.”

Empty once tank is full.

NOTE: The dirt tank may be washed in warm water with a mild detergent. Make sure it

is completely dry before replacing.

Hold the dirt tank over a trash container.

Press the bottom release button to

empty. Once empty, close the lid.

Empty the Dirt Tank

Twist cyclone left and pull down to

remove from tank.

Clean cyclone with warm water and mild

detergent. Let cyclone completely dry

before replacing. To replace, fit into place

and twist to the right.

press firmly until

Remove foam filter from lid. Hand wash in

warm water and rinse well; mild detergent

may be used if desired.

Maintain the Pet TurboEraser

Tool

Remove brush roll,

belt, and paddle

wheel. Inspect

for damages and

replace if necessary.

To reassemble, align two clips on each

end of paddle wheel with belt on

and pop back into place. Place brush

roll with belt back in. Faceplate will

not close properly if all parts are not

aligned correctly.

Press the tank release button and pull

out to remove dirt tank.

Allow filter to air dry completely before

placing back into the tank lid.

WARNING

Do not operate vacuum with damp or wet ﬁlters or without all ﬁlters in place.

Unplug vacuum, turn over and unscrew

six (6) Philips-head screws to remove

the bottom cover. Lift brush straight out.

Clean debris from brush roll. Inspect by

placing on its end and spin. The brush

roll should spin freely, multiple times by

one flick. If it doesn’t, replace brush roll.

Check belt for wear or cuts and replace

if necessary.

Replace the brush roll and belt by looping the belt over the motor shaft and the brush

roll. Line up the end caps and pull the brush forward into place. This will stretch the

belt. Return bottom cover back on and replace the screws.

Clearing a Clog

Remove the hose

from the back of the

vacuum by twisting

it to the left. Remove

any debris that may

have gotten clogged.

Check the foot hose on

the back of your vacuum

down towards the bottom.

If necessary, remove the

screw from the foot hose

and check for clogs.

Check the air passageway on

the bottom of your vacuum.

Remove the bottom cover and

the brush. Remove any debris.

Ensamblaje

La única herramienta que necesitará para el ensamblaje de su aspiradora es un

destornillador de cabeza Phillips.

Coloque la manija

superior sobre la

base y

empuje hacia

abajo. Luego,

instale la manija

con los 2 tornillos

que están

adheridos con

cinta a la manija

en una bolsa de

plástico.

manija hacia usted.

CONSEJO: Para obtener un rendimiento de limpieza óptimo, ajuste a la altura más baja que sea práctica. Si es

difícil empujar su aspiradora, ajuste a la posición más alta siguiente.

ADVERTENCIA

Para reducir el riesgo de lesiones causadas por las piezas móviles mien-

tras se activa la aspiradora, siempre mueva la aspiradora mediante las ruedas giratorias utilizando la manija superior

en la parte posterior de la aspiradora. No transporte la aspiradora mientras está funcionando. Siempre coloque la

aspiradora sobre el piso con la manija en la posición vertical al usar herramientas.

NOTA: El cepillo giratorio sigue girando mientras se usan las herramientas. Nunca coloque los dedos abajo de la

aspiradora cuando está funcionando. Nunca coloque el cabezal motorizado sobre muebles ni superﬁcies irregulares.

No coloque la aspiradora suﬁcientemente cerca de objetos como para tirar de ellos adentro del cepillo giratorio.

Rebobinado automático del cordón

Cuando termine de usar su aspiradora, desenchúfela

del tomacorriente. Sostenga el enchufe y presione el

botón de rebobinado del cordón automático hasta

que esté completamente retraído. Si el cable no se

retrae por completo en el primer intento, saque un

poco de cable y presione el botón de rebobinado

nuevamente.

Para enchufar su aspiradora, tire suavemente

del cable del rebobinado automático del cable

y deténgase en la marca amarilla del cable.

No tire mas allá de la marca roja. Una vez que

tenga la cantidad deseada de cable, conéctelo al

tomacorriente.

Gire el cuadrante en la base de la aspiradora al ajuste deseado.

Si es difícil hacer girar el cuadrante, incline ligeramente hacia atrás

la aspiradora para quitar el peso de la base al girar.

Ajuste más bajo – Para alfombras de pelo corto o pisos duros.

Para recoger suciedad, es posible que

sea necesario aumentar un ajuste.

Ajuste mediano – Para alfombras de pelo mediano.

Ajuste más elevado – Para alfombras de pelo largo y la mayoría

de las alfombras de pelo alto.

enchufe polarizado del tomacorriente antes de efectuar tareas de mantenimiento o de identiﬁcación de fallas.

Presione el botón de liberación del tanque y tire

hacia afuera para extraer el tanque de suciedad.

Después de vaciarlo,

coloque de nuevo el

tanque en la aspiradora

y presione firmemente

hasta que escuche un

“chasquido”.

Vacíe una vez que el tanque de suciedad esté lleno.

NOTA: Se puede lavar el tanque de suciedad en agua tibia con un detergente suave. Asegúrese de que esté

completamente seco antes de volver a instalarlo.

Sostenga el tanque de suciedad arriba de un basurero.

Presione el botón de liberación del fondo para vaciar.

Una vez vacío cierre la tapa.

Vacíe el tanque de suciedad

Gire el ciclón hacia la izquierda y tire hacia abajo

para extraerlo del tanque.

Limpie el ciclón con agua tibia y un detergente suave.

Deje que ciclón se seque completamente antes de

reemplazarlo. Para reemplazarlo, calce en su sito y gire

hacia la derecha.

en agua tibia y enjuague bien; se puede usar un

detergente suave si se desea.

Gire el collar gris en

sentido contrario a las

agujas del reloj, hasta que

aparezca la ranura, luego,

separe la placa frontal.

Mantenimiento de la Herramienta PetTurboEraser®

Quite el cepillo giratorio,

la correa y la rueda con

paletas. Inspeccione

para ver si hay daños y

reemplace si es necesario.

Para volver a armar, alinee dos clips en cada

extremo de la rueda de paletas con la correa puesta

y vuelva a colocar en su lugar. Instale nuevamente

el rodillo del cepillo con la correa. La placa frontal

no se cerrará correctamente si todas las piezas no

están alineadas correctamente.

Presione el botón de liberación del tanque y tire

hacia afuera para extraer el tanque de suciedad.

Deje que el filtro se seque al aire por completo antes de

colocarlo de nuevo en la tapa del tanque.

Desenchufe la aspiradora, invierta y destornille seis

(6) tornillos con cabeza Phillips para quitar la cubierta

inferior. Levante el cepillo giratorio derecho hacia

arriba.

Limpie la suciedad del cepillo giratorio. Inspeccione

colocándolo sobre su extremo y haciéndolo girar. El

cepillo giratorio debe girar libremente, varias veces

con una sola pulsación. Si no lo hace, reemplace el

cepillo giratorio. Compruebe la correa para ver si

tiene desgaste o cortes y cámbiela si es necesario.

Vuelva a instalar el cepillo giratorio y la correa pasándola arriba del eje del motor y el cepillo giratorio. Alinee las

tapas de extremo y tire del cepillo hacia adelante colocándolo en su sitio. Esto estirará la correa. Vuelva a colocar

la cubierta inferior y vuelva a instalar los tornillos.
