(3A) (Unscrew crown then pull for Rover Tide only) PUSH it back halfway to position 2. (3A) TURN crown clockwise to adjust the date. (3B) PULL the crown all the way back in. (Be sure to screw your crown back to the 1st position to ensure that your watch is fully water resistant) (6B) 5 SET MOON PHASE PRESS and HOLD Moon button for three seconds. (5A) RELEASE after beep. PUSH Moon button again to adjust moon phase.* (5A) RELEASE Moon button. Another beep will confirm setting. *CONSULT LOCAL ASTRONAUT FOR MOON PHASE INFO (8A) 7 READ TIDE HEIGHT The tide is graphically represented with the crescent shape that is thicker at the 12 o’clock position and thinner at the 6 o’clock position. High tide can be recognized when the tide hand is at the 12 o’clock position. Low tide can be recognized when the tide hand is at the 6 o’clock position. As the tide moves from 12 to 6 the tide will be falling. As the tide hand moves from 6 to 12 the tide will be rising. (7A) (9B) 9 ABOUT TIDES Working on an average tide sequence of 12 hours 25 minutes and 14 seconds from high tide to high tide, the watch will help you accurately plan your surf breaks around your busy work schedule. Depending on your location you may have to reset your watch to keep your reading accurate. (9A, 9B) 50 METER DRY 100-200 METER A FEW OF OUR WATCHES ARE GEARED TOWARDS PURE STYLE AND ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR SURF OR SWIM. THIS IS INDICATED BY THE “NO WATER” ICON. NO *RINSE WATCH WITH SOAP AND WATER AFTER EXPOSURE TO SALT WATER OR SAND. Replace the battery at least every two years. Dead or low batteries left in a watch may leak and destroy the movement of your watch. If you have a water resistant watch, know that the water resistancy is attained using rubber or plastic seals which will deteriorate under normal conditions and reduce the water resistancy of your watch. These seals should be checked by an authorized jeweler at least every two years to ensure the rated water resistancy. Do not expose your watch to extreme temperatures (over 60ºC or 140ºF, under -10ºC or 14ºF). No hot tubs or saunas. Sorry, but do you really need to know the time when you’re tubbing? Avoid extreme shocks. PULSAR el boton de nuevo para ajusta la marea. (4A) SUELTA el boton de marea. Otro “beep” confirmara el ajuste. GIRA el bisel de tal manera que el incremento detiempodeseado se alinie con el minutero. (6A, 6B) MIRA como el minutero cuenta atrás hacia la marca señalada como cero. When the moon hand is in either the first quarter (3 o’clock) or the last quarter (9 o’clock position) the difference between the high and lowtides will be less drastic. La marée est haute quand l’aiguille de marée est en position midi. La marée est basse lorsque l’aiguille des marées est en position 6 heures. Lorsque l’aiguille de marées bouge de midi vers 6 heures, la marée va descendre. Lorsque l’aiguille de marée bouge de 6 heures à midi, la marée va monter. (7A) PLUS D’INFORMATIONS Le fait de calculer les marées sur une base de 12 heures 25 minutes et 14 secondes d’une marée haute à la suivante vous permet de planifier vos sessions de surf très précisément. Selon le lieu où vous vous trouvez il peut être nécessaire de régler à nouveau l’enregistrement des marées dans votre montre pour garder des informations précises. Une pile faible ou morte, laissée dans une montre, peut fuir et endommager le mouvement. Si vous avez une montre étanche, sachez que l'étanchéité est obtenue par l'utilisation de joints en plastique ou en caoutchouc qui se détérioreront dans des conditions normales et réduiront le niveau d'étanchéité de votre montre. Ces joints doivent être vérifiés par un horloger qualifié au moins tous les deux ans pour maintenir le niveau d'étanchéité. N'exposez pas votre montre à des températures extrêmes (supérieures à 60°C ou 140°F, inférieures à –10°C ou –14°F). Pas de bain trop chaud ni de sauna.
