You will need:
A Bucket of Water, Paper Towels, Clean Cloths
Protective Automotive Tape

Headlight Preparation
Start with a clean, dry headlight. Move the vehicle out of direct
sunlight. Protect trim and painted surfaces around the headlight lens
with automotive masking tape. Two layers of automotive masking tape
are recommended. Damage may occur if surfaces are not protected.
Buffer Preparation
Charge the battery. Attach the interface pad to the buffer.
Protective eyewear recommended when using this product.
WARNING! COMBUSTIBLE LIQUID AND VAPOR. Vapor harmful.
May cause eye, skin, nose and throat irritation and cause dizziness,
headache or nausea. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating
and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal. Airborne crystalline
silica generated from scrubbing dry pads may cause silicosis.
PRECAUTIONS: Keep away from heat and ame. Avoid eye and
skin contact. Avoid breathing dust or vapors. Use only with adequate
ventilation. Do not swallow. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Contains crystalline silica, scrubbing of dry buff pad may produce dust
conditions in excess of allowance concentrations of crystalline silica.
Wear an appropriate respirator (NIOSH approved) when scrubbing
pads. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
FIRST AID INFORMATION:
Eye contact: Flush eyes with large amounts of water. If signs/
symptoms persist, get medical attention.
Skin Contact: Flush skin with large amounts of water. If signs/
symptoms develop, get medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If signs/symptoms develop,
get medical attention.
If Swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention.

TIPS FOR SANDING
• Hold the buffer at or at a very slight angle when sanding the lens,
this will help control the tool and allow for smooth and even sanding.
• Control the buffer by moving at a slow, steady, even speed while
using light pressure across the headlight lens.
• Do not use excessive pressure down on the buffer or headlight lens.
• Do not hold the buffer in one place while sanding, this can cause the
lens surface to heat up and smear.
• Do not move the buffer at a fast, erratic speed on the headlight lens.
STEP 1 DRY SANDING
Attach the 400 grit sandpaper to the interface pad.
• Buff headlight for approximately 3 minutes. Longer time spent on this
step will make the following steps easier and improve the nal clarity
of the lens.
• Wipe the sanding disk and lens frequently with a paper towel.
• The entire lens should have a white, evenly sanded surface that
appears to look frosted.
• If any portion of the lens looks clear, glossy or yellowed, continue
sanding.
• Once the 400 grit paper is no longer sanding effectively, discard the
disc and move on to the 800 grit paper.
Attach the 800 grit sandpaper to the interface pad.
• Using light to medium pressure, begin sanding to reduce the
sanding marks made by the 400 grit paper.
• Wipe the sanding disk and lens frequently with a paper towel.
• When the 800 grit paper is no longer sanding effectively, discard the
disc and move on to the 1500 grit paper.
STEP 2 WET SANDING
Attach the 1500 grit sandpaper to the interface pad.
• Wet both the sandpaper and headlight with water, they should
be damp to the touch.
• Using light to medium pressure, begin sanding to reduce the
sanding marks made by the 800 grit paper.
• Continue adding water to the sandpaper do not let the lens surface
become dry.
• Buff the headlight until you begin seeing white residual or slurry on
the lens, then continue bufng for an additional 3 minutes. Wipe the
lens clean.
STEP 3 POLISHING
USE ONLY THE SILICONE FREE POLISH PROVIDED IN THIS KIT
• Remove the interface pad from the Buffer.
• Dispense a small amount of polishing compound to a cotton
polishing pad, liberally apply polish to the lens.
• Attach the cotton pad to the 4" Buffer.
• Polish the lens with the buffer.
• Polish until the cloudy haze is no longer visible.
• Rinse with water, wipe and dry the headlight.
STEP 4 UV BLOCKER
Warning: flammable, contains isopropanol
Protect hands with nitrile glove and eyes with splash proof eye wear
before applying sealant.
• Shade the headlight from direct sunlight while applying the
protection.
• Clean and dry the headlight.
• Apply the sealant by wiping the towelette across the lens with an
even sweeping motion.
• Keep the towelette off of painted surfaces, if contact occurs, clean
immediately, If left on, the compound will effect paint nish.
• Allow to cure for ten minutes in ambient light.

Necesitará:
Un balde de agua, toallas de papel, paños limpios
Cinta protectora automotriz
Lustradora para detalles inalámbrica AutoRight de 4"
Preparación del faro delantero
Comience con un faro delantero limpio y seco. Mueva el vehículo fuera
de la luz directa del sol. Proteja las supercies pintadas y recubiertas
alrededor de la lente del faro delantero con cinta de enmascarar automotriz.
Se recomienda colocar dos capas de cinta de enmascarar automotriz.
Si no se protegen las supercies, pueden producirse daños.
Preparación de la lustradora
Cargue la batería. Fije la almohadilla de acoplamiento a la lustradora.
Se recomienda utilizar anteojos de protección al usar este producto.
¡ADVERTENCIA! LÍQUIDO Y VAPOR COMBUSTIBLE. Vapor nocivo.
Puede provocar irritación en los ojos, piel, nariz y garganta y causar mareos,
dolores de cabeza o náuseas. El uso indebido por medio de la concentración
e inhalación deliberada del contenido puede ser dañino o fatal. La sílice
cristalina transportada por el aire que se genera por cepillar almohadillas
secas puede provocar silicosis.
PRECAUCIONES: Manténgase lejos del calor y las llamas. Evite el contacto con
los ojos y la piel. Evite la inhalación de polvo y vapores. Utilícela únicamente con
la ventilación adecuada. No ingerir. Lávese bien luego de manipularla.
Contiene sílice cristalina; el cepillado de la almohadilla de lustrado seca puede
producir condiciones de polvo que excedan las concentraciones permitidas
de sílice cristalina. Utilice una máscara antipolvo apropiada (aprobada por
el Instituto Nacional para la Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional, NIOSH) al cepillar
las almohadillas. MANTENER FUERA DEL ALCANCE DE LOS NIÑOS.

CONSEJOS PARA EL LIJADO
• Sostenga la lustradora en posición vertical o en un ángulo pequeño al lijar
la lente, esto lo ayudará a controlar la herramienta y permitirá un lijado más
liso y uniforme.
• Controle la lustradora mediante movimientos a una velocidad baja, estable
y constante mientras ejerce una ligera presión sobre la lente del faro
delantero.
• No ejerza una presión excesiva sobre la lustradora ni sobre la lente del
faro delantero.
• Evite mantener la lustradora en un solo lugar al lijar, esto puede provocar que
la supercie de la lente se caliente y se manche.
• No mueva la lustradora a una velocidad rápida e irregular sobre la lente del
faro delantero.
PASO 1 LIJADO EN SECO
Fije el papel de lija de grano 400 a la almohadilla de acoplamiento.
• Lustre el faro delantero durante aproximadamente 3 minutos. Si se le dedica
más tiempo a este paso, los pasos siguientes serán más sencillos y mejorará
la claridad nal de la lente.
• Frote con frecuencia el disco de lijado y la lente con una toalla de papel.
• Toda la lente debe tener una supercie blanca, lijada en forma pareja
y de apariencia esmerilada.
• Si alguna parte de la lente se ve clara, brillante o amarillenta, continúe lijando.
• Una vez que el papel de lija de grano 400 no siga lijando de manera efectiva,
descarte el disco y continúe con el papel de lija de grano 800.
Fije el papel de lija de grano 800 a la almohadilla de acoplamiento.
• Con una presión de ligera a media, comience a lijar para reducir las marcas
de lijado del papel de lija de grano 400.
• Frote con frecuencia el disco de lijado y la lente con una toalla de papel.
• Una vez que el papel de lija de grano 800 no siga lijando de manera
efectiva, descarte el disco y continúe con el papel de lija de grano 1500.
PASO 2 LIJADO EN HÚMEDO
Fije el papel de lija de grano 1500 a la almohadilla de acoplamiento.
• Humedezca tanto el papel de lija como el faro delantero con agua;
deben sentirse mojados al tacto.
• Con una presión de ligera a media, comience a lijar para reducir las marcas
de lijado del papel de lija de grano 800.
• Siga agregando agua al papel de lija; no permita que la supercie de la lente
se seque.
• Lustre el faro delantero hasta que comience a notar un residuo o desecho
blanco sobre la lente, entonces continúe con el lustrado durante 3 minutos
adicionales. Frote la lente para limpiarla.
PASO 3 PULIDO
Utilice solo el pulidor libre de silicona incluido en este kit.
• Retire la almohadilla de acoplamiento de la lustradora.
• Administre una pequeña cantidad de compuesto de pulido sobre una
almohadilla de pulido de algodón, aplique con generosidad el pulidor sobre
la lente.
• Fije la almohadilla de algodón a la lustradora de 4".
• Pula la lente con la lustradora.
• Pula hasta que dejen de verse las manchas opacas.
• Enjuague con agua, frote y seque el faro delantero.
PASO 4 FILTRO UV
Advertencia: Inflamable, contiene isopropanol.
Protéjase las manos con guantes de nitrilo y los ojos con anteojos a prueba
de salpicaduras antes de aplicar el sellador.
• Proteja el faro delantero de la luz directa del sol al aplicar la protección.
• Limpie y seque el faro delantero.
• Aplique el sellador mediante el frotado de la lente con una toallita húmeda
con un movimiento uniforme.
• Mantenga la toallita húmeda lejos de las supercies pintadas; de producirse
contacto, limpie de manera inmediata, ya que si así no lo hiciera,
el compuesto afectaría el acabado de la pintura.
• Espere a que cure durante diez minutos bajo la luz ambiental.
