liquids.

8. Use the Toaster on a hard, at surface. Do not place it near a ame or heat or on a soft

Notes on the Plug

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk

of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t

fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do

not modify the plug in any way.

Notes on the Cord

The provided short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should be used to

reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Always

plug directly into a wall outlet/receptacle.

A. A short power-supply cord (or detached power-supply cord) is provided to reduce the risk

resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord.

B. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be

used if care is exercised in their use.

C. If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:

1. The marked electrical rating of the cord set, or extension cord should be at least as great

as the electrical rating of the appliance.

2. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop

where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally; and

3. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the cord set or extension cord should be a

grounding-type 3-wire cord.

Plasticizer Warning

CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the nish of the counter top or table

top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the appliance

and the nish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may cause the nish to

darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.

Electric Power

If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may

Getting To Know Your 2 slice Toaster

Product may vary slightly from illustrations.

Before Using For The First Time

There may be manufacturing residue or oil remaining in the toaster or heating element,

which might emit an odor at the time of the rst use. This is normal and will not occur after

several uses. It is suggested to operate the toaster without bread for rst use according to

the below steps. Then let the toaster cool down before you start toasting the rst slice.

How To Use The Toaster

1. Ensure the toaster is connected to the main power supply.

2. Place one to two slices of bread into the toasting slots and press the loading lever down

until it latches. The toaster will heat up automatically and start toasting.

NOTE: the toaster must be connected to the main power supply in order for the bread

carriage to engage and for the toasting cycle to begin

Adjust the browning control to brown the toast to your desired taste.

To stop toasting press the CANCEL button at any time.

The loading lever will rise automatically when toasting is nished. This toaster is equipped

with a high lift lever to help with the removal of smaller items.

If the toast is not dark enough, you can toast the bread again. Adjust the browning control

to your desired setting and replace the toast. Ensure the toast does not burn while

re-toasting.

Browning Control

The browning control enables adjustment of toasting time and has the following settings:

• Reheat – for warming pre-toasted bread

• 1-2 for light toasting

• 3-4 for medium toasting

• 5-6 for dark toasting for warming pre-toasted bread

• 1-2 for light toasting

• 3-4 for medium toasting

• 5-6 for dark toasting

BAGEL FUNCTION

The bagel setting works great for English muns too!

1. Place one half in each toasting slot with the cut sides facing the center.

2. Set the browning control to desired setting.

3. Press the loading lever down.

4. Press the BAGEL button. The bagel indicator will light up. Ensure bagel doesn’t burn.

5. The loading lever will rise automatically when the toasting cycle is complete.

REHEAT FUNCTION

Your toaster can reheat bread if it has cooled too quickly.

1. Replace the bread in the toaster.

2. Set the browning dial to the lowest setting. The arrow on the dial should be position to

REHEAT.

3. Press the loading lever down.

4. The loading lever will rise automatically when the toasting cycle is complete.

GLUTEN FREE FUNCTION

Use your Toaster to toast, reheat or defrost your Gluten-free bread, bagels and waes.

Gluten-free breads are often denser in quality and requires a longer toasting time. The

gluten free function adjusts and adds the ideal amount of time to your toasting cycle in

order to ensure precise and even toasting.

Note: The gluten free function does not remove the gluten from your bread.

1. Place one bread, bagel or wae in each toasting slot.

2. Set the browning control to desired setting.

3. Press the loading lever down.

4. Press the GLUTEN FREE button to toast. The Gluten-free button will light up. Ensure

toast/ bagel/ wae doesn’t burn.

5. The loading lever will rise automatically when the toasting cycle is complete.

FROZEN FUNCTION

Your Toaster can defrost bread and toast it in a single cycle.

1. Place the frozen bread in the toaster.

2. Set the browning control to desired shade setting.

3. Press the loading lever down.

4. Press the FROZEN button. The defrost indicator will light up.

5. The loading lever will rise automatically when the toasting cycle is complete.

CANCEL FUNCTION

The CANCEL button can be pressed at any time during toasting to interrupt the

toasting cycle.

CAUTION:

1. Remove all protective wrapping before using the toaster.

2. If toaster starts to smoke, press CANCEL to stop toasting immediately.

3. Do not toast food with runny ingredients.

4. Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without rst unplugging the toaster

from the

electrical outlet.

Be sure not to damage the internal mechanism or heating elements when removing bread.

5. The bread slot is to be used for toasting regular bread slices only. Do not use the toaster

to toast irregularly shaped bread as it may become lodged

in the toaster.

HIGH LIFT LEVER

Allows the loading lever to be raised further for easier access to smaller breads. This

ensures smaller pieces of bread and bagels can be removed easily.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Disconnect the toaster from outlet before cleaning.

2. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth after toaster cools down. Never use metal polish.

3. Pull out crumb tray on bottom of toaster and empty it. If toaster is used frequently,

accumulated bread crumbs should be removed at least once a

week. Make sure the crumb tray is inserted correctly to the toaster and completely closed

before using the toaster again.

4. The power cord may be wound under the bottom of the toaster when not in use or for

storage.

5. This appliance requires little maintenance. Do not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing

requiring disassembly must be performed by a qualied

appliance repair technician.

Limited TWO-YEAR Warranty

SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of TWO YEARS from the date of purchase,

this product will be free from mechanical defects in material and workmanship, and for

90 days in respect to non-mechanical parts. At its sole discretion, SENSIO Inc. will either

repair or replace the product found to be defective, or issue a refund on the product

during the warranty period.

The warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail

purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is

required to obtain warranty validation. Retail stores selling this product do not have the

right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the terms and conditions of the warranty.

EXCLUSIONS:

The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the

following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or current, improper

routine maintenance, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair,

or alteration by anyone other than qualied SENSIO Inc. personnel. Also, the warranty

does not cover Acts of God such as re, oods, hurricanes, or tornadoes.

SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused

by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent prohibited

by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular

purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty. Some states, provinces or

jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential

damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and therefore, the

above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. The warranty covers specic legal

rights which may vary by state, province and/or jurisdiction.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:

You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number: 1-866-832-4843.

A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues over the

phone. If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the problem, you will

be provided with a case number and asked to return the product to SENSIO Inc. Attach

a tag to the product that includes: your name, address, daytime contact telephone

number, case number, and description of the problem. Also, include a copy of the

original sales receipt. Carefully package the tagged product with the sales receipt,

and send it (with shipping and insurance prepaid) to SENSIO Inc.’s address. SENSIO Inc.

shall bear no responsibility or liability for the returned product while in transit to SENSIO

Inc.’s Customer Service Center.

PRECAUCIÓN:

• NO tostar pasteles que tengan rellenos o glaseados líquidos.

• NO tostar rebanadas rotas de pan.

• NO colocar pan con manteca o alimentos con envoltorios dentro del tostador.

• NO tostar panes pequeños, minibaguettes, palitos de pan, etc.

NOTAS SOBRE EL ENCHUFE

Este electrodoméstico tiene un enchufe polarizado (una pata es más ancha que la otra).

Para reducir el riesgo de descargas eléctricas, el enchufe puede encajar de una sola

manera en un tomacorriente polarizado. Si el enchufe no encaja bien

en el tomacorriente, darlo vuelta. Si aun así no encaja, comunicarse con un electricista

calicado. No realizar ningún tipo de modicación al enchufe.

NOTAS SOBRE EL CABLE

a) Se debe utilizar un cable de alimentación corto (o un cable de alimentación

desconectable) para reducir el riesgo de enredarse o de tropezar con uno más largo.

b) Existen cables de alimentación desconectables más largos o prolongadores y pueden

usarse si se hace con precaución.

c) Si se utiliza un cable de alimentación desconectable más largo o un

prolongador, tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:

1) La capacidad eléctrica nominal del cable de alimentación desconectable o prolongador

debe ser al menos igual a la capacidad eléctrica del electrodoméstico.

3) El cable más largo debe estar dispuesto de manera que no cuelgue de la encimera o de

PRECAUCIÓN: A n de evitar que los plasticados se adhieran al acabado de la

encimera, la mesa u otro mueble, colocar un posafuentes o salvamanteles que NO SEAN

DE PLÁSTICO entre el electrodoméstico y el acabado de la supercie de la encimera o

mesa. Si no se hace esto, es posible que el acabado se oscurezca, se formen marcas

permanentes o aparezcan manchas.

CORRIENTE ELÉCTRICA

Si el circuito eléctrico está sobrecargado por el uso de otros electrodomésticos, es posible

CÓMO UTILIZAR LA TOSTADORA

1. Asegúrese de que la tostadora esté conectada a la fuente de alimentación principal.

2. Coloque una o dos rebanadas de pan en las ranuras de tostar y presione la palanca de

carga hacia abajo hasta que se enganche. La tostadora se

calentará automáticamente y comenzará a tostar.

NOTA: La tostadora debe estar conectada a la fuente de alimentación principal para que

el soporte de pan pueda activarse y para que comience el ciclo de tostar.

3. Ajuste el control de dorado para dorar la tostada según su gusto deseado.

4. Para detener el tostado, presione el botón CANCELAR en cualquier momento.

5. La palanca de carga levantará automáticamente cuando nalice el tostado. Esta

tostadora está equipada con una palanca de elevación alta para

ayudar con el quitado de elementos más pequeños.

6. Si el pan tostado no es lo sucientemente dorado, puede tostar el pan de nuevo. Ajuste el

control de dorado a su conguración deseada y

reemplace la tostada. Asegúrese de que la tostada no se queme mientras vuelve a tostar.

CONTROL DEL DORADO

El control de dorado permite ajustar el tiempo de tostar y tiene los siguientes ajustes:

• Recalentar – para calentar el pan ya tostado

• 1-2 para un tostado ligero

• 3-4 para un tostado medio

• 5-6 para un tostado oscuro

AJUSTE DE ROSCAS

¡El ajuste de roscas (bagel) también es ideal para panecillos!

1. Coloque una mitad de rosca en cada ranura de tostar con los lados cortados hacia el

centro.

2. Ajuste el control de dorado a el nivel deseado.

3. Presione la palanca de carga hacia abajo.

4. Presione el botón ROSCA (BAGEL) El indicador de ROSCA (BAGEL) se iluminará.

Asegúrese de que la rosca no se quema.

5. La palanca de carga subirrá automáticamente cuando se complete el ciclo de tostar.

AJUSTE DE RECALENTAR

Su tostadora recalienta el pan si se ha enfriado demasiado rápido.

1. Vuelva a colocar el pan en la tostadora.

2. Ajuste el control de dorado al nivel más bajo. La echa en el dial debe estar en posición

RECALENTAR (REHEAT.)

3. Presione la palanca de carga hacia abajo.

FUNCIÓN PARA PAN SIN GLUTEN

Use la tostadora doble para tostar, recalentar o descongelar pan, bagels y waes sin

gluten. Los panes sin gluten suelen ser más densos y requieren más tiempo de tostado.

La función para pan sin gluten ajusta y agrega la cantidad ideal de tiempo del ciclo de

tostado para garantizar un tostado preciso y uniforme.

Nota: La función para pan sin gluten no elimina el gluten del pan.

1. Coloque un pan, bagel o wae en cada ranura de tostado.

2. Ajuste el control de tostado al punto deseado.

3. Lleve la palanca de carga hacia abajo.

4. Presione el botón GLUTEN FREE para tostar. El botón para pan sin gluten se encenderá.

Verique que la tostada/bagel/wae no se quema.

5. La palanca de carga se elevará automáticamente cuando se termine el ciclo de tostado.

FUNCIÓN “DESCONGELACIÓN”

Su Tostadora puede descongelar pan antes de ser tostado.

1. Coloque el pan congelado en la tostadora.

2. Ajuste el control de tostado a la posición deseada.

3. Presione hacia abajo la palanca de carga.

4. Pulse el botón “DEFROST “para descongelar. El indicador de descongelación se enciende.

5. La palanca de carga se elevará automáticamente cuando el ciclo de tostado sea

completado.

FUNCIÓN DE CANCELAR

TEl botón CANCELAR (CANCEL) puede presionarse en cualquier momento durante el

tostado para detener el ciclo de tostar.

PRECAUCIÓN:

1. Retire todo el embalaje protector antes de utilizar la tostadora.

2. Si la tostadora comienza a fumar, presione CANCELAR (CANCEL) para detener el tostado

inmediatamente.

3. No tueste la comida con ingredientes que mojen.

Nunca intente quitar el pan atascado en las ranuras sin primero desenchufar la tostadora

de la toma de corriente.

Asegúrese de no dañar el mecanismo interno o los elementos de calentamiento cuando

retire el pan.

4. La ranura para pan se debe usar para tostar rebanadas de pan estándar solamente. No

use la tostadora para tostar pan de forma irregular ya que

puede alojarse en la tostadora.

PALANCA DE TOSTAR CON ELEVACIÓN ALTA

Permite que la palanca de carga se eleve más para facilitar el acceso a panes más peque-

ños. Esto asegura que los pedazos más pequeños de pan y roscas se quitan fácilmente.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

1. Desenchufe la tostadora antes de almacenar.

2. Limpie el exterior con un trapo suave y seco después de que la tostadora se enfríe. Nunca

use pulidor de metal.

3. Pull out crumb tray on bottom of toaster and empty it. If toaster is used frequently,

accumulated bread crumbs should be removed at least once a

week. Make sure the crumb tray is inserted correctly to the toaster and completely closed

before using the toaster again. Saque la bandeja de migas

Garantía limitada de DOS AÑOS
