WARRANTY INFORMATION
1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Sunbeam Products, Inc. doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions or if in Canada, Sunbeam Corporation (Canada)
Limited doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions (collectively “JCS”) warrants that for a period of one year from
the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. JCS, at its option, will repair
or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period.
Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available,
replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. Do NOT
attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the
original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. JCS dealers, service centers, or retail stores
selling JCS products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or
misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly,
repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized JCS service center. Further, the warranty does not
cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?
JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or
statutory warranty or condition.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty.
JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise.
JCS shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use
the product including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of
contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser by any other party.
Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages
or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from province to province,
state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
To Remove Scale:
1. Repeat steps 1-4 (refer to DAILY MAINTENANCE).
2. Clean the base by partially filling the base with one 8- oz cups of undiluted white vinegar, or by using
Cleanse Clean
®
solution (model S1710) by the manufacturer. Leave this solution in the base for 20 minutes, while
cleaning the all interior surfaces with a soft brush. Remove base scale by wiping the base with a cloth dampened
with undiluted white vinegar.
3. Rinse with clean warm water to remove the cleaning solution before disinfecting the tank.
To Disinfect Humidifier Base and Tank:
1. Fill humidifier base with 1/2 gallon of water and 1/2 teaspoon of chlorine bleach.
2. Fill each tank 1/2 full with water and 1/2 teaspoon of chlorine bleach.
3. Let the solution stand for 20 minutes, swishing every few minutes. Wet all surfaces.
4. Carefully empty the base and tank after 20 minutes, and rinse with water until you cannot detect any bleach
smell. Dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
5. Refill the water tank as directed with cool tap water, replace the humidifier housing, and turn the unit on.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
If your humidifier will not be in use for two days or more, or at the end of the season follow these instructions.
1. Clean and dry the humidifier thoroughly as per the “Weekly Maintenance” instructions.
2. Let the humidifier dry completely before storing. Do not store with water inside the base or water tank.
3. Remove the tank cap. Do not store with the tank cap in place.
4. Follow Filter Washing Procedure before storage. Ensure that the filter is completely dry before being stored.
5. Store in a cool dry location.

• How do I remove film on water
tank?

• How can I extend the run time?
✔ Run your unit on the lowest setting.
✔ If your unit has electronics, set it to your desired humidity level. The
unit will turn on and off, which will extend the run time.
✔ Fill the tank all the way full, place it on the base, let the water empty
into the base until it stops bubbling, then refill the tank full again.
This ensures maximum water capacity and will extend run time.

MANTENIMIENTO DIARIO
1. Asegúrese de apagar y desenchufar la unidad del tomacorriente.

MANTENIMIENTO SEMANAL
Para extraer el sarro :

REMOVING PERMANENT FILTER FOR
CLEANING
Through normal use, waterborne minerals and sediment
become trapped in the wick filter. The harder your water,
the greater the amount of minerals in the water, and the
more often you will need to clean your filter.
You will be able to monitor the life of the filter in your
humidifier by checking the FilterClean
TM
. The FilterClean
TM
Indicator will only read the filter condition when the
humidifier is in operation.
NOTE: It may take up to
60 minutes of operation for
the FilterClean
TM
Indicator to
reflect the filter condition
(see Fig. 2 for closeup of
indicator). A brand new
filter will register in the
section reading Good filter.
After frequent use of your
humidifier, the FilterClean
TM
will let you know when the
filter needs to be cleaned .
When the needle is in the Wash Filter section, this means
the proper amount of moisture is not getting into your
air due to the excessive minerals and sediment that have
become trapped on your filter. At this point, you should
wash your filter. It is important to wash your filter as
indicated below to obtain stated performance level.
PERMANENT FILTER WASHING PROCEDURE
1. The water tray should be cleaned when you clean the
filter. The water tray is a convenient way to carry the
filter to prevent dripping.
2. Mix 1 gallon warm tap water with 1 teaspoon
concentrated antibacterial liquid dish washing soap.
3. Fully submerge filter in soap solution for 15-20 minutes.
4. Dunk filter in soap solution several times then gently
press to release the soapy water. Be sure not to wring,
pull or scrub filter as this will degrade the filter.
5. Run under cool tap water until there is no soap
remaining. Some discoloration may still be visible, this is
normal and does not affect performance.
6. Gently shake or press the filter to remove excess water.
7. The filter can be put directly into the humidifier while still
damp if it is to be used right away, or allow filter to dry
completely if humidifier is to be stored.
Should your filter become damaged or lost, please call
the customer service number listed in the manual for a
replacement part: HWF75P (P.N. 7400001000489).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Humidifiers provide comfort by adding moisture to dry,
heated indoor air. To benefit most from the humidifier
and avoid product misuse, follow all instructions carefully.
Please note that this is an electrical appliance and
requires attention when in use.
In addition, if you do not follow the recommended care
and maintenance guidelines, micro-organisms may be
able to grow in the water within the water tank. You
must routinely follow the cleaning procedures that follow
in order to ensure proper, efficient operation of your
humidifier. Proper maintenance and cleaning is essential
to the continued performance of your unit and the
avoidance of algae or bacteria build-up.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
1. Be sure the unit is OFF and is disconnected from the
electrical outlet.
2. Remove the housing and the tank from the
humidifier and place in sink or tub.
3. Carry the base of the unit to the sink, remove the
wick, place in sink, drain any remaining water and
rinse thoroughly to remove any sediment or dirt.
Wipe clean, and dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
4. Drain the water from the tank into the sink and rinse
tank thoroughly. Wipe clean, and dry with a clean
cloth or paper towel.
5. Put filter back in, replace the housing, then refill
tank with cool tap water as instructed earlier in the
Filling Instructions. Do not overfill.
6. Follow Operating Instructions.
22. Do not plug in the cord with wet hands: electric shock
could result.
23. Do not pour water in any openings other than the
water tank.
24. To prevent damage to surfaces, do not place humidifier
under overhanging surfaces.
25. NEVER operate unit without water in the tank.
26. Do not move unit after it has been used until unit
cools completely.
27. Use both hands when carrying full tank of water.

CONSUMER SAFETY INFORMATION
NOTE: This is an electrical appliance and requires
attention when in use.
NOTE: If moisture forms on the walls or windows of the
room, turn off the humidifier. The room already has plenty of
humidity and additional moisture may cause damage.
NOTE: DO NOT block air inlet or outlet.
Cord and Plug Installation Safety Instructions:
The length of cord used on this appliance was selected to
reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in, or tripping
over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary an
approved extension cord may be used. The electrical
rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater
than the rating of the humidifier (refer to the rating
information placed on the humidifier). Care must be
taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not
drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be
pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.
HOW COOL MIST WORKS
Your Holmes
®
Cool Mist humidifier draws dry air through
the rear air intake grill area. This air is then passed
through a moisture–laden wick filter, which retains the
minerals and deposits in the water. The resulting moist
air is directed back into the room from the top air grill.
NOTE: This humidification system provides a cool,
invisible moisture output. It is normal not to see the mist.
NOTE: A humidity level below 20% can be unhealthy
and uncomfortable. The recommended humidity level is
between 40%-50%.
PRE-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Be sure the humidifier is switched to OFF and the
unit is disconnected from the electrical outlet.
2. Select a location for your humidifier, on a flat
surface, about 4 inches (10 cm) away from the wall.
DO NOT place the humidifier on a finished floor or
near furniture, which can be damaged by moisture
or water. Place on a moisture-resistant surface.
3. Humidifier can be used with or without wheels.
Locate the four wheels in the box. Turn base of
humidifier over to reveal underside. Locate the two
stationary wheels and push the wheel posts into one
end of the base (Fig. 1). Locate the two swivel
wheels and push the wheel posts into the opposite
end of the base (Fig. 1).
FILLING THE WATER TANK
1. Remove the tank from the base of the humidifier
and bring to the faucet. Turn the tank upside down
and twist off the tank cap by turning counter
clockwise. Fill tank with cool, fresh tap water.
DO NOT fill with warm water as this may cause
leaking. Replace the cap on each tank FIRMLY.
2. When full, carry each tank to the humidifier and
place onto the base (use both hands when carrying
each tank). Each tank holds 1.6 gallons of water, and
the base holds 1/2 gallons of water.
3. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the appliance
directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
3. Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas. To avoid
fire hazard, NEVER put the cord under rugs or near
heat registers.
4. DO NOT place humidifier near heat sources such as
stoves, radiators, and heaters. DO locate your humidifier
on an inside wall near an electrical outlet. The
humidifier should be at least 4 inches (10 cm) away
from the wall for best results.
5. NEVER place humidifier in an area where it is
accessible to children. NEVER use humidifier in a closed
room, particularly where a child may be sleeping,
resting, or playing (a closed room may result in
excessive humidity).
6. WARNING: Do not attempt to refill humidifier without
first unplugging the unit from its electrical outlet. Failure
to heed this warning may cause personal injury. Be sure
to unplug the unit by pulling on the plug and not the
cord.
7. Never place anything over moisture outlet when the
unit is running.
8. NEVER drop or insert any object into any openings.
9. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug, after the appliance malfunctions, or if it has
been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to manufacturer for examination, electrical
or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
10. Use appliance only for intended household use as
described in this manual. Any other use not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or
injury to persons.
The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause hazards.
11. DO NOT use outdoors.
12. Always place humidifier on a firm, flat, level surface.
A waterproof mat or pad is recommended for use
under the humidifier. NEVER place it on a rug or
carpet, or on a finished floor that may be damaged
by exposure to water or moisture.
13. DO NOT allow the Moisture Outlet to directly face the
wall. Moisture could cause damage, particularly to wall
paper.
14. Humidifier should be unplugged when not in use.
15. NEVER tilt, move, or attempt to empty unit while it is
operating. Shut off and unplug before removing the
water tank and moving the unit.
16. This humidifier requires daily and weekly maintenance
to operate appropriately. Refer to daily and weekly
cleaning procedures. Use only cleaners and additives
recommended by the manufacturer.
17. NEVER use detergents, gasoline, glass cleaner,
furniture polish, paint thinner, or other household
solvents to clean any part of the humidifier.
18. Excessive humidity in a room can cause water
condensation on windows and some furniture. If this
happens, turn the humidifier OFF.
19. Do not use humidifier in an area where humidity
level is in excess of 50%. Use a hygrometer,
available at your local retailer or through the
manufacturer, to measure the humidity.
20. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or
mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void
your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user
serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed
by qualified personnel only.
21. Never place housing under water flow or immerse in
liquids.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Your humidifier is equipped with a technologically advanced
AccuSet Plus
TM
Digital Humidistat. You can set the humidifier
to run continuously in manual mode or set the
AccuSet Plus
TM
Digital Humidistat to your desired humidity
setting. The AccuSet Plus
TM
Digital Humidistat will
automatically turn the humidifier ON or OFF, depending on
the preset comfort level. The comfort level ranges between
35% and 65% relative humidity.
MANUAL MODE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug the humidifier into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
2. The display will show the current room humidity.
NOTE: The display range is 21% - 90%. If your room
humidity level falls below 21%, the unit will display 21. If
your room humidity level rises above 90%, the unit will
display 90.
3. To start the unit, push the MODE (
) button twice
within 3 seconds for the HIGH (3) manual setting.
4. Press the button again for the MEDIUM (2) manual
setting and again for LOW (1). After the selection is
made, the display will return to show the current room
humidity.
5. To stop the unit, press and hold the button for two
seconds, or keep pressing the button until the display
reads OFF (OF).
AccuSet Plus
TM
HUMIDISTAT INSTRUCTIONS
To take advantage of the AccuSet Plus
TM
Digital
Humidistat, press the MODE ( ) button until the speed is
set in either the AUTO HIGH (A3), AUTO MEDIUM (A2) or
AUTO LOW (A1) setting. Then adjust the set humidity by
using the up and down buttons. Humidity will increase in
increments of 5%. When the humidity level is set, the
display will return to show the current room humidity.
When the room humidity level rises above the set
humidity, the humidifier will stop. When the humidity
level drops below the set humidity, the humidifier will
turn on automatically.
NOTE: Allow up to 30 minutes for the filter to fully
absorb water and for the unit to produce moisture.
NOTE: The AccuSet Plus
TM
Humidifier has memory. This
means that when you turn the unit back on, it will be at
the last setting the humidifier was set at.
If you do not plan to use the humidifier for two or more days,
make sure any residual water is drained from the water tank,
base and wick filter to prevent algae or bacteria growth.
16 HOUR AUTO ON/OFF TIMER
INSTRUCTIONS
The Auto On/Off timer will allow the user two options, to
set a time to turn the unit off or to set a time to turn the
unit on.
Auto Off Timer
While the unit is running, the off timer can be activated by
holding down the up and down buttons simultaneously for
2 seconds, the screen will flash 00 and the up and down
arrows can be pushed to adjust the timer up to 16 hours in
increments of one, once 16 hours is reached, the next push
of the timer button will cycle back to 00 hours. The Timer
Light will illuminate to indicate that the Timer is activated.
The unit will then shut off after the timer expires (in its
current setting). While the unit is running, the timer should
stay on even if other modes are being changed. The timer
should only be deactivated if the unit is turned off.
Auto On Timer
While the unit is off, the up and down buttons are pressed
simultaneously for 2 seconds and the display will flash 00
the up button may then be pushed again to increase the
hours to turn on (in its last setting) from 1-16 in increments
of 1 hour. The unit will then come on after the timer expires,
if the unit is then turned on, the timer will be deactivated.
The Timer Light will illuminate to indicate that the Timer is
activated. Once 16 hours is reached, the next push of the
timer button will cycle back to 00 hours .
EXTENDED RUN TIME SETTING
By setting your humidifier to a specific humidity level,
you are actually also extending the run time. Since the
unit will turn on and off to maintain the set humidity
level, less water will be used on manual setting.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
THIS APPLIANCE HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in
a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician to install the proper outlet.

COMO FUNCIONA EL VAPOR FRÍO
Su humidificador Holmes
®
de Vapor Frío succiona aire seco a
través de la rejilla de entrada de aire. Luego, el aire pasa por
6 filtros de mecha cargados de humedad, los que retienen los
minerales y depósitos del agua. El aire húmedo resultante es
dirigido nuevamente al ambiente por la rejilla superior.
NOTA: Este sistema de humidificación proporciona una salida
de humedad fría e invisible. Es normal que no se vea el vapor.
NOTA: Un nivel de humedad menor al 20% puede ser
nocivo e incómodo. El nivel de humedad recomendado es
entre el 40% y el 50%.
INSTRUCCIONES PREVIAS AL USO
1. Asegúrese de que el humidificador esté en OFF y
desenchúfelo del tomacorriente.
2. Elija un lugar para su humidificador, en una superficie
plana, aproximadamente a 4 pulgadas de distancia de la
pared. NO coloque el humidificador sobre un piso pulido o
cerca de algún mueble, ya que lo puede dañar por el
exceso de humedad o agua. Colóquelo sobre una
superficie resistente a la humedad.
3. El humidificador se puede usar con o sin rueditas.
Coloque las cuatro rueditas en la caja. De vuelta el
humidificador para dejar la parte inferior al
descubierto. Coloque las dos rueditas y presione los
ejes en uno de los extremos de la base (figura 1).
Coloque las dos rueditas giratorias y presione los ejes
en la parte opuesta de la base (figura 1).
COMO LLENAR EL TANQUE DE AGUA
1. Saque el tanque de la base del humidificador y
acérquelo a la canilla. De vuelta el tanque y
desenrosque la tapa del tanque girando en sentido
contrario a las agujas del reloj. Llene el tanque con
agua fría del grifo.
NO llene con agua caliente ya que puede
producir una pérdida. Vuelva a colocar la tapa
del tanque CON FIRMEZA.
2. Cuando estén llenos lleve cada tanque al humidificador y
ubíquelos en la base (utilizar las dos manos al llevar cada
tanque). Cada tanque tiene una capacidad de 6,2 litros de
agua y la base de 2 litros de agua.
3. Enchufe el cable de corriente en un tomacorriente de
120 voltios AC.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
Su humidificador está equipado con un censor de
humedad digital tecnológicamente avanzado Accuset
Plus
TM
. Puede configurar el humidificador para que
funcione continuamente en modo manual o seleccionar el
censor de humedad digital Accuset Plus
TM
para su
configuración de humedad deseada. El censor de
humedad digital Accuset Plus
TM
encenderá o apagará el
humidificador automáticamente, dependiendo del nivel
preseleccionado de confort. Los niveles de confort van
desde 35% a 65% de humedad relativa.
INSTRUCCIONES DEL MODO MANUAL
1. Enchufe el humidificador en un tomacorriente de 120V CA.
2. La pantalla mostrará la humedad actual de la habitación.
NOTA: El rango de visualización es de 21% - 90%. Si el nivel
de humedad de su habitación desciende por debajo del 21%,

Para aprovechar las ventajas del censor de humedad digital
AccuSet Plus, presione el botón MODE (
) hasta que la
potencia esté establecida en AUTO HIGH (alto) (A3), AUTO
MEDIUM (medio) (A2) o AUTO LOW (bajo) (A1). Luego ajuste
la humedad deseada utilizando los botones de arriba y abajo.
La humedad aumentará en incrementos de 5%. Cuando el
nivel de humedad esté establecido, la pantalla volverá a
mostrar la humedad actual de la habitación. Cuando el nivel
de humedad se eleve por encima de la humedad establecida,
el humidificador se apagará. Cuando el nivel de humedad
descienda por debajo de la humedad establecida, el
humidificador se encenderá automáticamente.
NOTA: Permita hasta 30 minutos para que el filtro absorba
totalmente el agua y para que la unidad emita humedad.
NOTA: El humidificador AccuSet Plus tiene una memoria.
Esto implica que cuando usted enciende nuevamente la
unidad, ésta mostrará el último modo fijado.
Si planea no usar su humidificador por dos o más días,
asegúrese de drenar el agua residual del tanque de agua, de la
base y del filtro de mecha a fin de evitar la formación de algas y
bacterias.
INSTRUCCIONES DE TEMPORIZADOR DE
16 HORAS DE ENCENDIDO/APAGADO
AUTOMÁTICO
El temporizador de encendido/apagado automático le
permitirá al usuario dos opciones, establecer un tiempo
para que se apague la unidad o establecer un tiempo
para que se encienda la misma.
Temporizador de apagado automático
Mientras la unidad está funcionando, el temporizador de
apagado puede ser activado presionando los botones de arriba y
abajo simultáneamente por dos segundos, la pantalla
parpadeará 00 y las flechas arriba y abajo pueden ser
presionadas para ajustar el temporizador hasta 16 horas en
incrementos de una, una vez que se llega a las 16, si se sigue
presionando el botón el ciclo volverá a 00 horas. La luz de
temporizador se iluminará para indicar que el temporizador está
activado. Entonces la unidad se apagará cuando el tiempo se
cumpla (en su configuración actual). Mientras la unidad está
funcionando, el temporizador debe permanecer encendido
incluso si otros modos son cambiados. El temporizador sólo debe
ser desactivado si la unidad es apagada.
Temporizador de encendido automático
Mientras la unidad está apagada, los botones de arriba y abajo
se presionan simultáneamente por dos segundos y la pantalla
parpadeará 00 y el botón arriba puede presionarse de nuevo
para aumentar las horas para encenderlo (en la última
configuración) de 1 a 16 en incrementos de una hora. La unidad
se encenderá cuando el tiempo se cumpla, si la unidad se
enciende el temporizador se desactivará. La luz de temporizador
se iluminará para indicar que el temporizador está activado. Una
vez que se llega a las 16 horas, si se vuelve a presionar el botón
de temporizador el ciclo volverá a las 00 horas.
PROLONGACIÓN DEL TIEMPO DE OPERACIÓN
Programando el humidificador para un nivel de humedad, en
realidad se prolonga el tiempo de operación. La unidad se
apagará y encenderá automáticamente para mantener ese
nivel de humedad, se usará menor cantidad de agua en la
configuración manual.
COMO QUITAR EL FILTRO PERMANENTE
PARA LIMPIARLO
A través del uso normal, los
minerales y sedimentos del
agua quedan atrapados en el
filtro de mecha. Cuanto más
dura sea su agua, más
cantidad de minerales posee, y
necesitará limpiar el filtro más
frecuentemente.
Usted podrá controlar el
estado del filtro de su
humidificador mediante el indicador FilterClean
TM
. El indicador
FilterClean
TM
sólo leerá el estado del filtro cuando el
humidificador esté en funcionamiento.
NOTA: Podría tardar hasta 60 minutos de funcionamiento
para el que indicador FilterClean
TM
pueda reflejar el estado del
filtro (observe la Figura 2 para un primer plano del indicador).
Un filtro completamente nuevo se registrará en la sección
denominada Filtro BUENO. Luego de usar su humidificador
varias veces, el indicador FilterClean
TM
le avisará cuando deba
limpiar el filtro.
Cuando la aguja esté en la zona Wash Filter, significa que el
aire no está recibiendo la cantidad adecuada de humedad
debido a la cantidad de minerales y sedimento acumulados en
su filtro. En ese momento, debe limpiar el filtro. Es muy
importante limpiar el filtro como se indica para obtener los
niveles de rendimiento especificados.
PROCEDIMIENTO DE LAVADO DEL
PERMANENTE FILTRO:
1. Debe limpiar la bandeja de agua cada vez que limpie el
filtro. La bandeja de agua es una forma conveniente de
transportar el filtro y evitar que gotee.
2. Mezcle 1 cucharadita de detergente concentrado
antibacteriano para lavar vajillas en 4 litros (1 galón)
de agua tibia de la llave.
3. Remoje el filtro en la solución durante 15 a 20 minutos.
4. Sumerja el filtro en la solución varias veces y presiónelo
suavemente para que suelte el agua jabonosa. Cerciórese de
no exprimir, halar ni frotar el filtro por se degradará.
5. Enjuáguelo bajo el chorro de agua fría de la llave hasta que
deje de salir el detergente. Podría notarse una cierta
descoloración; pero esto es normal y no afecta su rendimiento.
6. Sacuda el filtro suavemente o presiónelo para sacarle el
exceso de agua. Si se va a almacenar, déjelo secar al aire.
7. Puede colocar el filtro directamente dentro del
humidificador cuando esté húmedo si es que lo
volverá a utilizar enseguida, o deje que se seque
completamente si está por guardar el humidificador.
Si su filtro se dañara o se perdiera, llame a atención al
cliente al número que aparece en el manual y compre
repuesto: HWF75P(P.n. 7400001000489).
INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA Y
MANTENIMIENTO
Los humidificadores proveen confort agregando humedad al
aire seco de los ambientes interiores calefaccionados.
Para beneficiarse al máximo de los humidificadores y evitar
su mal uso, siga todas las instrucciones cuidadosamente.
Tenga en cuenta que éste es un artefacto eléctrico que
requiere atención cuando esté en uso.
Además, si no se siguen las recomendaciones para el cuidado
y mantenimiento, crecerán microorganismos en el agua
dentro de los tanques. Se deben ejecutar rutinariamente los
procedimientos de limpieza que se indican a continuación
para asegurar el funcionamiento adecuado y eficiente del
humidificador que son esenciales para el rendimiento óptimo
constante de la unidad y para evitar la formación de algas y
bacterias.
