herzlichen Glückwunsch zu Ihrer Kaufentscheidung. Mit diesem
Rollator haben Sie ein Produkt erworben, das Ihnen Ihren Alltag
erleichtern wird und an dem Sie viel Freude haben werden.
Bevor Sie mit Ihrem neuen Rollator die ersten Schritte machen,
möchten wir Sie bitten, die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig zu lesen
und unseren Empfehlungen zu folgen. Das macht Sie mit Ihrer neuen
Gehhilfe gleich bestens vertraut und gibt Ihnen bei der täglichen
Nutzung das nötige Maximum an Sicherheit.
Sie werden sehen, dass es ganz einfach ist, den Rollator in Betrieb
zu nehmen. Wir sind uns sicher, dass Sie sich ganz schnell an ihn
gewöhnen werden und ihn nicht mehr missen möchten.

2. Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
2.1. Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Um Stürze und gefährliche Situationen zu vermeiden, sollten Sie den
Umgang mit Ihrem neuen Rollator erst auf ebenem, überschaubarem
Gelände üben. Eine Begleitperson ist in diesem Fall empfohlen.
• Nur auf ebenem, festem Untergrund fahren.
• Beachten Sie die Klemmgefahr zwischen beweglichen Teilen bei der
Einstellung, Benutzung und Wartung des Rollators.
• Der Benutzer darf nicht unter Einfluss von Alkohol oder Drogen
stehen.
• Vor Anwendung des Rollators kontrollieren Sie bitte, ob alle
angebauten Teile ordentlich befestigt sind.
• Kleidungsstücke und Körperteile von Spalten zwischen beweglichen
Teilen fernhalten!
• Kollisionen jeglicher Art vermeiden! Vermeiden Sie ein
ungebremstes Fahren gegen ein Hindernis (Stufe, Bordsteinkante)
oder das Herunterspringen von Absätzen.
• Erneuern Sie die Reifen sobald das Profil abgefahren ist.
• Beim Abstellen des Rollators sind beide Feststellbremsen
anzuziehen.
• Die Feststellbremse nur zum Parken benutzen, diese darf nicht zum
Abbremsen der Fahrt benutzt werden.
• Vermeiden Sie Fahrten auf unebenem, losem Untergrund.
• Die Sitz- und Polstermaterialien entsprechen den Anforderungen
der Beständigkeit gegen Entflammbarkeit gemäß EN 1021- 2,
setzen Sie dennoch keine Polster oder andere Teile Brandquellen -
wie z.B. Zigaretten - aus.
• Der Rollator darf nicht zum Lastentransport oder zum Transport
anderer Personen verwendet werden, bitte beachten Sie die max.
Zuladung.

• Beachten Sie, dass sich Polsterteile, die direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
ausgesetzt sind, aufheizen und bei Berührung Hautverletzungen
verursachen können. Decken Sie daher diese Teile ab oder schützen
Sie den Rollstuhl vor Sonneneinstrahlung.

zu vermeiden
• Beachten Sie ebenfalls, dass sich Rahmen und Polsterteile im
Winter stark abkühlen können. Stellen Sie den Rollstuhl bei kaltem
Wetter nach Möglichkeit nicht draußen ab.
• Die Lager- und Betriebsbedinungen beachten.
• Max. Nutzergewicht des RL-Smart ST 136 kg!
• Beachten Sie die Klemmgefahr beim Zusammen- und
Auseinanderfalten. Es dürfen sich keine Kleidungs- oder Körperteile
zwischen beweglichen Teilen verfangen.
• Mindesteinstecktiefe der Griffrohre beachten!
• Jede Bremse wirkt nur auf ein Laufrad!
• Die Tasche darf mit max. 5 kg beladen werden.
• Zur Reinigung keine aggressiven oder ätzenden Mittel verwenden!
• Vor jedem Fahrtantritt sind der Rollator auf Unversehrtheit und die
Funktionstauglichkeit der Bremsen zu überprüfen.
Meldung von Vorkommnissen:
Wenn Sie als Betreiber, Nutzer oder deren Angehörige mögliche
Defekte oder Funktionseinschränkungen feststellen, wenden Sie sich
bitte umgehend an einen autorisierten Fachhändler. Betreiber, Nutzer
oder deren Angehörige sollten Ihren Fachhändler, der Ihnen das Produkt
bereitgestellt hat, über mutmaßliche schwerwiegende Vorkommnisse,
die direkt oder indirekt eine der nachstehenden Folgen hatten oder
haben könnten und von denen sie betroffen sind, informieren.
Sie können dies auch der zuständigen Bundesoberbehörde melden.
• den Tod eines Patienten, Anwenders oder einer anderen Person,
• die vorübergehende oder dauerhafte schwerwiegende
Verschlechterung,
• des Gesundheitszustands eines Patienten, Anwenders oder
• anderer Personen,
• eine schwerwiegende Gefahr für die öffentliche Gesundheit.
2.2. Bremsen
Betriebsbremse
Die Betriebsbremse des Rollators wird mit den beiden
Handbremshebeln an den Schiebegriffen betätigt (s. Kap. 4.5).
Betriebs- und Feststellbremse wirken jeweils auf die Laufräder.
Feststellbremse
Die Bremshebel sind nach unten zu drücken um die Feststellbremse
zu aktivieren; durch Ziehen nach oben wird die Feststellbremse wieder
gelöst (s. Kap. 4.5).
2.3. Indikation / Kontraindikation
• Der Rollator unterstützt bewegungseingeschränkte erwachsene
Benutzer beim Gehen z. B. im häuslichen Bereich, beim Einkaufen
oder Spazieren im Freien.
Eine Gewährleistung kann von uns nur
übernommen werden, wenn das Produkt unter
den vorgegebenen Bedingungen und zu den
vorgesehenen Zwecken eingesetzt wird.

• Der Sitzbereich ermöglicht es, bei längeren Strecken auszuruhen.
• Den Rollator nur auf ebenem und festem Untergrund nutzen.
• Das Produkt darf nicht als Aufstieghilfe oder Transportmittel für
schwere Lasten benutzt werden.
2.4. Zweckbestimmung
Der Rollator ist ausschließlich zur Mobilitätssteigerung von
erwachsenen gehbehinderten Menschen gemäß oben genannter
Indikationen hergestellt.
2.5. Konformitätserklärung
Bischoff & Bischoff erklärt als Hersteller des Produktes, dass
der Rollator vollständig den Anforderungen der Richtlinie MDR
2017/745 entspricht.
2.6. Verantwortlichkeit
Eine Gewährleistung kann von uns nur übernommen werden, wenn
das Produkt unter den vorgegebenen Bedingungen und zu den
vorgesehenen Zwecken eingesetzt wird. Änderungen, Erweiterungen,
Reparaturen und Wartungsarbeiten können nur von solchen Personen
ausgeführt werden, die von uns dazu ermächtigt wurden und wenn
der Rollator unter Beachtung aller Gebrauchshinweise benutzt wurde.
2.7. Nutzungsdauer
Die zu erwartende Lebensdauer beträgt bei bestimmungsgemäßem
Gebrauch, Einhaltung der Sicherheits-, Pflege- und Wartungshinweise,
bis zu 5 Jahre. Über diesen Zeitraum hinaus kann der Rollator bei
sicherem Zustand weiter verwendet werden.
3. Produkt- und Lieferübersicht
3.1. Prüfung der Lieferung
Alle Produkte der Bischoff & Bischoff GmbH werden einer
ordnungsgemäßen Endkontrolle in unserem Hause unterzogen und
mit dem CE-Zeichen versehen.
Der Rollator wird in einem speziellen Karton in Werkseinstellung
geliefert. Nach dem Entpacken bewahren Sie den Karton nach
Möglichkeit auf. Er dient zur evtl. späteren Einlagerung oder
Rücksendung des Produkts.
Die Anlieferung und Einweisung erfolgt in der Regel über den
qualifizierten Sanitätsfachhandel.
Bei Versand per Bahn oder Spedition ist die Ware im Beisein des
Überbringers sofort auf Transportschäden zu kontrollieren.
Prüfen Sie den Inhalt auf Vollständigkeit und Unversehrtheit. Im Falle
von Unregelmäßigkeiten und Beschädigungen setzen Sie sich mit
unserem Kundenservice in Verbindung.

werden, wenn das Produkt unter den vorgegebenen
Bedingungen und zu den vorgesehenen Zwecken

4. Zusammenbau/Anpassungen
4.1. Entfalten
• Positionieren Sie den Bischoff & Bischoff Rollator in Fahrtrichtung
vor sich.
• Betätigen Sie die Feststellbremsen.
• Drücken Sie die Rahmenrohre des Sitzes nach unten um den
Rollator zu entfalten (Abb. 3). Achten Sie darauf, dass die Rohre
richtig aufliegen und hörbar einrasten.
4.2. Falten
• Betätigen Sie die Feststellbremsen.
• Halten Sie den Rollator mit einer Hand am Handgriff fest.
• Ziehen Sie mit der anderen Hand das Griffband am Sitz nach oben
(Abb. 4).
• Sie müssen dabei den Widerstand der Arretierung überwinden.
4.3. Tasche anbringen
• Der Bischoff & Bischoff Rollator ist entfaltet. Betätigen Sie die
Feststellbremsen.
• Positionieren Sie sich entgegen der Fahrtrichtung vor dem Rollator.
• Ziehen Sie die Laschen der Tasche über den Halter und schieben Sie
dann die Tasche unter die Fixierstifte (Abb. 5).

4.4. Schiebegriffe einstellen
• Der Bischoff & Bischoff Rollator ist entfaltet. Betätigen Sie die
Feststellbremsen.
• Lösen Sie die Handmutter (Abb. 6) und entfernen Sie die Schraube.
• Positionieren Sie sich hinter dem Bischoff & Bischoff Rollator und
lassen Sie Ihre Arme locker nach unten hängen.
• Stellen Sie nun die Schiebegriffe so ein, dass sie sich in Höhe Ihrer
Handgelenke befinden.
• Befestigen Sie die Schraube wieder und ziehen Sie die Handmutter an.
• Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang auf der anderen Seite. Achten Sie
darauf, die Griffe in gleicher Höhe festzustellen.
4.5. Bremsbetätigung / -einstellung
Betriebsbremse
Die Betriebsbremse wird mit den beiden Handbremshebeln an den
Schiebegriffen durch Ziehen nach oben betätigt (Abb. 7). Betriebs-
und Feststellbremse wirken jeweils einzeln auf die Laufräder.
Feststellbremse
• Drücken Sie zum Arretieren die beiden Bremshebel nach unten
(Abb. 8).
• Zum Lösen ziehen Sie die beiden Bremshebel zurück in die
Mittelstellung.
Bremseinstellung
Die Bremse ist richtig eingestellt, wenn ohne Betätigung der Bremse
der Bremsbolzen das Laufrad nicht berührt und die Feststellbremse
noch komfortabel zu betätigen ist.

• Um die Bremse härter einzustellen, ist die Rändelschraube
(Abb. 9) an den Bremsvorrichtungen aufzudrehen und die
Rändelmutter entgegengesetzt zu kontern.
• Bei der Verstellung am Bowdenzug ist zunächst die Kontermutter
(M6) zu lösen.
• Danach wird die Gewindehülse so weit aufgedreht, bis die richtige
Einstellung gefunden ist. Damit sich die Einstellung nicht verändert,
muss die Gewindehülse wieder mit der Mutter (M6) gekontert
werden.
• Um die Bremse weicher einzustellen, ist in bezeichnetem Ablauf
umgekehrt zu verfahren.
4.6. Räder und Bereifung
Ihr Rollator ist mit pannensicheren PU-Rädern der Größe
190 x 43 mm vorne und 170 x 43 mm hinten ausgerüstet.
5. Benutzung
Laufen
Machen Sie Ihre ersten Gehversuche auf ebenem, festem Untergrund.
Machen Sie sich insbesondere mit der Funktion der Bremsen vertraut.
Lassen Sie sich dabei von einer Hilfsperson begleiten.
Für ein anatomisch korrektes Gangbild müssen die Schiebegriffe in
der richtigen Höhe eingestellt sein (Kapitel 4.4.).
• Stellen Sie sich in den Rollator, so dass Ihre Knöchel auf einer Höhe
mit den Hinterrädern sind.
• Nehmen Sie eine aufrechte Körperhaltung ein.

• Fassen Sie die Schiebegriffe mit beiden Händen, Ihre Arme sind
dabei leicht angewinkelt.
Beim Gehen mit dem Rollator versuchen Sie mit Ihrem Körper
möglichst nah an den Schiebegriffen zu bleiben. Das erhöht Ihre
Stabilität und die Kippsicherheit, außerdem vermeiden Sie so einen
krummen Rücken. Versuchen Sie generell, im Rollator zu laufen und
nicht hinter dem Rollator. Machen Sie kleine Schritte und schieben Sie
den Rollator nicht zu weit nach vorne.
Richtungswechsel und Geschwindigkeit bestimmen Sie durch das
Schieben des Rollators. Nutzen Sie immer beide Bremsen, um Ihre
Fahrt zu verlangsamen. Der Rollator würde sich sonst mit dem
ungebremsten Rad um das gebremste Rad drehen und Sie könnten
stürzen.
Hindernisse sind nach Möglichkeit zu umfahren. Versuchen Sie
Rampen zu verwenden oder Aufzüge zu nehmen. Sollte das nicht
möglich sein, muss der Rollator über das Hindernis getragen werden.
Suchen Sie sich dafür nach Möglichkeit die Hilfe einer zweiten Person.

7. Pflegehinweise für den Benutzer
7.1. Reinigung
Die Reinigung der Sitz- und Rückenmaterialien kann mit warmem
Wasser unter Zuhilfenahme eines Schwammes und/oder
einer weichen Bürste vorgenommen werden. Bei hartnäckiger
Verschmutzung kann dem Wasser ein handelsübliches
Reinigungsmittel zugesetzt werden.
Hinweis: Verwenden Sie keinesfalls aggressive
Reinigungsmittel, wie z.B. Lösungs- / Scheuermittel
oder harte Bürsten.
Kunststoffteile pflegen Sie am besten mit einem handelsüblichen
Kunststoffreiniger. Beachten Sie bitte die Produktinformationen des
Reinigungsmittels.
• Kunststoffverkleidungen werden durch nichtionische Tenside und
Lösungsmittel, insbesondere Alkohole angegriffen!
• Die Rahmenteile des Rollstuhls mit einem feuchten Tuch
abwischen. Bei stärkeren Verschmutzungen zusätzlich ein mildes
Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
• Die Räder mit einer feuchten Bürste mit Kunststoffborsten reinigen
(keine Drahtbürste verwenden!).
• Verwenden Sie keinen Hochdruckreiniger.
• Schiebegriffe, Armpolster, Sitz- und Rückenpolster mit einem milden
Reinigungsmittel abwaschen.
• Polsterteile können maschinell bei 40°C gewaschen werden. Nicht
maschinell trocken, nur Trocknung bei Raumtemperatur.

7.2. Desinfektion
• Vor der Desinfektion muss der Rollator gründlich gereinigt werden.
Der Rollstuhl ist mit einem haushaltsüblichen Desinfektionsmittel
desinfizierbar. Verwenden Sie zugelassene Sprüh-Desinfektionsmittel
oder Wisch-Desinfektionsmittel auf alkoholischer Basis.
• Im Fall von mehreren Produktanwendern, ist ein handelsübliches
Desinfektionsmittel vorgeschrieben.
• Verwenden Sie nur die vom Robert Koch Institut (RKI) und
beim Verbund für Angewandte Hygiene e.V. zugelassenen
Wischdesinfektionsmittel (z.B. Bacillol AF oder Kohrsolin FF);
Einwirkzeit und Konzentration siehe Herstellerempfehlung.
• Achtung: Beschädigte Polsterteile können nicht hinreichend
desinfiziert werden. Diese sollten ausgetauscht werden.
• Durch Desinfektionsmittel können unter Umständen die
Oberflächen in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden. Längerfristige
Einschränkungen der Funktionsfähigkeit kann die Folge sein.
Beachten Sie unsere beiliegende Übersicht über die wichtigsten
Pflege-, Hygiene- und Wartungsarbeiten.
Achtung Infektionsgefahr! Bei mehreren Benutzern
ist nach jeder Benutzung der Rollstuhl zu reinigen.
7.3. Überprüfung des Rollators
durch den Benutzer
7.3.1. Bremsenüberprüfung
Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Fahrtantritt die Funktionstüchtigkeit der
Bremsen.
Bei angezogenen Bremsen sollte der Rollator nicht wegzuschieben
sein.
Bei gelösten Bremsen sollte der Rollator leichtgängig und ohne
Schleifgeräusche geradeaus laufen.
Sollten Sie ein ungewohntes Bremsverhalten bemerken, verständigen
Sie sofort Ihren Fachhändler und ziehen Sie den Rollator aus dem
Verkehr.
7.3.2. Überprüfung der Bereifung
Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Fahrtantritt die Reifen auf Unversehrtheit.
Bei Beschädigung des Reifens ist eine Instandsetzung durch eine
autorisierte Fachwerkstatt zu veranlassen.
7.3.3. Wartungshinweis
Wir empfehlen den Rollator mindestens einmal im Jahr einer
Inspektion durch den Fachhandel zu unterziehen.
Bei Störungen oder Defekten am Rollator ist dieser unverzüglich dem
Fachhändler zur Instandsetzung zu übergeben.
Die Repatur und der Austausch von Teilen wird vom Fachhändler
durchgeführt.

7.3.4. Wartungshinweis für den
Fachhandel
Die Wartungen sind gemäß dem Bischoff & Bischoff Wartungsplan
durchzuführen. Auf Wunsch wird ein Wartungsplan zur Verfügung
gestellt. Auch ein Schulungsprogramm für den Fachhandel steht zur
Verfügung.
Der Rollstuhl sollte entsprechend dem
Wartungsplan gewartet werden und in
einwandfreiem Zustand sein.
8. Lagerung / Versand
Falls der Rollator eingelagert oder versendet werden soll, ist es
ratsam die Originalverpackung aufzubewahren und für diese Zwecke
einzulagern, so dass sie im Bedarfsfall verfügbar ist.
Dann ist Ihr Rollator optimal gegen Umwelteinflüsse während der
Lagerung oder des Transports geschützt. Um Schimmelbildung und
eine Beschädigung der Polsterteile zu vermeiden, sollte der Lagerort
möglichst trocken und nicht direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt sein.
Sie müssen Ihren Rollator regelmäßig gemäß
Wartungsplan überprüfen und als einwandfrei
befinden.
9. Wiedereinsatz
Der Rollator ist zum Wiedereinsatz geeignet. Für den Wiedereinsatz
ist der Rollator zunächst gemäß den beiliegenden Pflege- und
Hygienehinweisen gründlich zu reinigen und zu desinfizieren.
Anschließend ist das Produkt von einem autorisierten Fachmann auf
allgemeinen Zustand, Verschleiß und Beschädigungen zu überprüfen
und ggf. zu reparieren.
10. Reparatur
Reparaturen und Instandhaltungsmaßnahmen dürfen nur von
autorisierten Partnern (Sanitätshäuser oder Fachhändler) durchgeführt
werden.
Einen Partner in Ihrer Nähe erfragen Sie bitte bei unserem Kunden-
service.
11. Entsorgung
Auch ein ausgedienter Rollator stellt eine wertvolle Materialquelle dar,
die dem industriellen Zyklus wieder zugeführt werden kann. Werfen
Sie deshalb Ihren zu entsorgenden Rollator nicht in den Hausmüll,
sondern lassen ihn durch eine staatlich zugelassene Entsorgungsstelle
fachgerecht entsorgen. Ihre örtliche Müllabfuhr wird Ihnen gerne
entsprechende Auskünfte geben. Die Umwelt dankt es Ihnen.
Wenn Sie die Entsorgung selbst übernehmen
möchten, erkundigen Sie sich bei ortsansässigen
Recycelingunternehmen nach den Vorschriften Ihres
Wohnorts.

12. Garantie
1. Für die von Bischoff & Bischoff gelieferten Produkte beträgt
die Gewährleistungsfrist 24 Monate ab Kaufdatum. Die Produkte
werden frei von Fabrikations- und Materialmängeln geliefert. Sofern
nachweislich ein Werkstoff- bzw. Herstellungsfehler vorliegt, werden
schadhafte Teile kostenlos ersetzt.
2. Ansprüche aus der Gewährleistung entfallen, wenn eine Reparatur
oder ein Ersatz des Produktes oder eines Teiles aus den folgenden
Gründen erforderlich ist:
a) Normaler Verschleiß, dazu gehören insbesondere folgende Teile,
sofern verbaut: Batterien, Motorkohlen, Handgriffe, Armauflagen,
Polsterung, Reifen, Bremsen, Kappen etc.
b) Überlastung des Produkts wie z.B. eine Überschreitung des
maximalen Nutzergewichts oder der Zuladung.
c) Das Produkt oder das Teil wurde nicht gemäß der
Bedienungsanleitung, den Pflege- und Hygienehinweisen oder den, in
den Wartungshinweisen aufgeführten Empfehlungen des Herstellers
gepflegt oder gewartet.
d) Es wurde Zubehör verwendet, bei dem es sich nicht um
Originalzubehör handelte.
e) Das Produkt oder ein Teil wurde durch Nachlässigkeit, Unfall oder
unsachgemäße Verwendung beschädigt.
f) Es wurden Änderungen / Modifikationen am Produkt oder an
Teilen durchgeführt, die von den Herstellervorgaben abweichen.
g) Es wurden Reparaturen durchgeführt, bevor unser Kundendienst
über den jeweiligen Sachverhalt informiert wurde.
3. Zur Geltendmachung der Gewährleistung benachrichtigen Sie
bitte umgehend Ihren Fachhändler, mit einer genauen Beschreibung
des Problems. Das Produkt muss von einem von Bischoff & Bischoff
autorisierten Fachhändler repariert werden.
4. Für Teile, die im Rahmen der Gewährleistung repariert oder
getauscht werden, verlängert sich die Gewährleistung, auf die für das
Produkt verbleibende Gewährleistungsdauer gemäß Ziffer 1.
5. Auf Originalersatzteile, die auf Kosten des Kunden eingebaut
wurden, wird nach dem Einbau eine Garantie von 12 Monaten
gewährt.
6. Schlägt die Nachbesserung nach angemessener Frist fehl, kann der
Käufer nach seiner Wahl Herabsetzung der Vergütung verlangen oder
vom Vertrag zurücktreten.
7. Die Gewährleistung unterliegt dem Recht des Landes, in dem das
Bischoff & Bischoff Produkt gekauft wurde.
Darüber hinaus beachten Sie bitte die Bischoff & Bischoff Pflege-,
Gewährleistungs-, Hygiene- und Wartungshinweise. Diese werden
Ihnen von Ihrem Fachhändler gerne zur Verfügung gestellt.
Für Austauschgeräte und Reparaturen gilt eine Gewährleistungsfrist
von einem Jahr.
Beachten Sie außerdem die Bischoff & Bischoff Pflege-,
Gewährleistungs-, Hygiene- und Wartungshinweise. Diese werden
Ihnen von Ihrem Fachhändler zur Verfügung gestellt.

Congratulations on your decision to purchase this rollator. It is a product
that will improve your everyday life and bring you much enjoyment.
Before you take your first steps with the rollator, we ask that you read
this instruction manual carefully and follow our recommendations. This
will help you get to know your walking aid and ensure maximum safety
when using it day-to-day.
As you will find out, the rollator is very simple to use. We are sure that
you will get used to it very quickly and soon won’t be able to imagine
life without it.

2. Important safety Instructions
2.1. General Safety instructions
To avoid falls and dangerous situations, you should first practise using
your new rollator on level, manageable terrain. An accompanying
person is recommended in this case.
• Only drive on level, solid ground.
• Be aware of the risk of entrapment between moving parts when
adjusting, using and maintaining the wheelchair.
• The driver must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Before using the rollator, please check that all attached parts are
properly fastened.
• Keep clothing and body parts away from gaps between moving
parts!.
• Avoid collisions of any kind! Avoid driving into an obstacle (step,
kerb) without braking or jumping down from a step.
• Replace the tyres as soon as the tread is worn down.
• When parking the rollator, apply both parking brakes.
• Use the parking brake only for parking, it must not be used to slow
down the drive.
• Avoid driving on uneven, loose surfaces.
• The seat and upholstery materials meet the requirements of
resistance to flammability according to EN 1021- 2, nevertheless
do not expose upholstery or other parts to fire sources - such as
cigarettes.
• The wheelchair may only be used to transport one person. The
wheelchair must not be used to transport loads or more than one
person, note the maximum load.
• Note that upholstered parts that are exposed to direct sunlight
can heat up and cause skin injuries when touched. Therefore, cover
these parts or protect the wheelchair from sunlight.

Protect the wheelchair from sunlight to avoid burns
from heated components.
• Also note that the frame and upholstered parts can cool down
considerably in winter. If possible, do not park the wheelchair
outside in cold weather.
• Observe the storage and operating conditions.
• Max. user weight for Rollator RL-smart is 136 kg
• Please note there is a danger of trapping fingers and/or clothing
when folding and unfolding. Do not catch any clothing or body
parts between the moving parts.
• Please note the minimum insertion depth of the handles bars!
• Each brake only affects one running wheel!
• The bag can be loaded with max. 5 kg.
• When cleaning, do not use any aggressive or corrosive cleaning
agents!
• Check the rollator for correct assembly before every use. The brake
operation should be checked.
• Make sure your brakes are operating properly before each use.
• Reporting incidents:
If you, as the operator, user or their relatives, detect possible
defects or functional limitations, please contact an authorised dealer
immediately. Operators, users or their relatives should inform the
dealer who supplied the dealer who provided you with the product of
any suspected serious incidents which directly or indirectly have had or
could have one of the following and by which they are affected. You
can also report this to the competent higher federal authority report
- the death of a patient, user or other person,
- the temporary or permanent serious deterioration of the health
of the state of health of a patient, user or other persons,
- a serious risk to public health.
2.2. Brakes
Service brake
The service brake of the rollator is operated with the two hand brake
levers on the push handles (see chapter 4.5). The service and parking
brakes each act on a wheel.
Parking brake
Push the brake levers down to activate the parking brake; pull them
up to release the parking brake (see chapter 4.5).
2.3. Indications / Contra-
indications
• The rollator supports adult users with limited mobility to move, e.g.
for domestic use, when shopping or walking outdoors.
• The seat area allows a place to rest during longer distances.
• The rollator must be used on level and solid ground only.
• The product must not be used as a climbing aid or means of
transport for heavy loads.

We are only able to issue a guarantee if the product
is used in accordance with the specified conditions
and for the specified purpose.
2.4. Purpose
The rollator is intended to support mobility of adult persons with an
impaired ability to walk, in accordance with the above-mentioned
indications.
2.5. Declaration of Conformity
Bischoff & Bischoff, as manufacturer of the product, declares that the
rollator fully meets the requirements of the guideline MDR 2017/745.
2.6. Responsibility
We are only able to provide a warranty if the product is used in
accordance with the specified conditions and for the intended purposes.
If modifications, repairs or maintenance works are made, please make
sure only authorised persons perform these works in accordance to the
instructions of Bischoff & Bischoff.
2.7. Product life
The expected product life of the rollator amounts up to 5 years if used
as intended and in compliance with the safety, care and maintenance
instructions. Over this period and beyond, the rollator can be used if the
product is in a safe condition.
3. Description of product and
contents
3.1. Inspection on delivery
All Bischoff & Bischoff rollators are subject to a proper final inspection
in our house and receive the CE mark.
The rollator is supplied in a special box. After unpacking, please save
the box if possible. You may need it later for storage or to return the
product.
Assembly, adjustment to your body size and first instructions are taken
care of by your qualified mobility dealer.
If delivered by rail or a forwarding agent, the product is to be checked
with regard to transportation damage at once in the presence of the
shipper.
Check the contents for completeness and make sure nothing is
damaged. Should you find any irregularities or damage, please contact
our customer service.
We are only able to issue a guarantee if the product
is used in accordance with the specified conditions
and for the specified purpose.

4. Assembly/adjustments
4.1. Unfolding
• Position the Bischoff & Bischoff Rollator in front of you in the
direction of travel.
• Apply the parking brakes.
• To unfold the rollator, push the frame of the sit downwards (Fig. 3).
Make sure that the frame is laid out correctly and that it clicks into
place.
4.2. Folding up
• Apply the parking brakes.
• Hold the rollator firmly with one hand on the handle. With the
other hand, pull the strap on the seat upwards (Fig. 4).
• You need to push past the resistance of the locking mechanism.
4.3. Installing the functional bag
• The Bischoff & Bischoff Rollator is unfolded. Apply the parking
brakes.
• Position yourself with your back towards the direction of travel in
front of the Bischoff & Bischoff Rollator.
• Pull the straps of the bag over the handle and slide these under the
pins (Fig. 5).

4.4. Adjusting the handles
• The Bischoff & Bischoff Rollator is unfolded. Apply the parking
brakes.
• Loosen the nut (Fig. 6) and remove the fixation screw.
• Stand behind the Bischoff & Bischoff Rollator and allow your arms
to hang loosely down.
• Now insert the handles so they are at the height of your wrists.
• Secure the screw and tighten the nut.
• Repeat the process for the other side. Make sure that both handles
are at the same height.
4.5. Brake application and
adjustment
Service brake
The service brake is operated by both hand brake levers on the
handles by pulling upwards (Fig. 7). Service and parking brakes
affect the running wheels.
Parking brake
• To lock, push both brake levers downwards (Fig. 8).
• To release, pull both brake levers back to the central position.
Brake adjustment
The brake is set properly, if the brake pins do not touch the wheel and
the locking brake can be activated easily.
• To adjust the brake to make it harder, unscrew the knurled-screw
(Fig.9) on the braking mechanism and lock it with the other nut.
• With the adjusting of the Bowden cable (M6), loosen the locknut
first.

• Next the threaded sleeve is adjusted until the correct adjustment is
found. To prevent the setting from changing, the threaded sleeve
(M6) must be locked with the nut (M6).
• To adjust the brake to make it softer, follow the above procedure in
reverse.
4.6. Wheels and tyres
Your rollator is fitted with puncture resistant PU wheels with
sizes 190 x 43 mm at the front and 170 x 43 mm at the back.
5. Use
Walking
Make your first attempts to walk with the rollator on a flat, firm surface.
Familiarise yourself with the function of the brakes. Let someone
accompany you during this initial period.
For an anatomically correct gait, the push handles must be set at
proper height (see sec. 4.4).
• Place yourself in the rollator so that your ankles are at the height of
the rear wheels.
• Stand with good posture.
• Grasp the push handles with both hands and your arms bent at a
slight angle.
When walking with the rollator try to stay as close as possible with
the body to the push handles. This increases the stability and safety
against tipping over; in addition, avoid a crooked back. Try to generally
walk in the rollator and not behind it. Take small steps and do not push
the rollator too far ahead.
You can determine the change of direction and speed by pushing the
rollator. Always use both brakes to slow down your movement. The
rollator could otherwise turn with the unbraked wheel around the
braked wheel, and you could fall over.
Go around obstacles whenever possible. Try to use ramps or take lifts. If
this is not possible, the rollator must be carried over the obstacle. Find
a second person to help you do this, if possible.

7. Maintenance instructions for the
user
7.1. Cleaning
The seat and back materials can be cleaned with warm water using
a sponge and/or a soft brush. In case of stubborn dirt, a commercial
cleaning agent can be added to the water.
Note: Never use aggressive cleaning agents such as
solvents / scouring agents or hard brushes.
• Plastic parts are best cleaned with a commercially available plastic
cleaner. Please observe the product information of the cleaning
agent.
• Plastic claddings are attacked by non-ionic surfactants and
solvents, especially alcohols!
• Wipe the frame parts of the wheelchair with a damp cloth. For
heavier soiling, also use a mild cleaning agent.
• Clean the wheels with a damp brush with plastic bristles (do not
use a wire brush!).
• Do not use a high-pressure cleaner.
• Wash the push handles, arm pads, seat and back pads with a mild
detergent.
- Upholstery parts can be machine washed at 40°C. Do not
machine dry, only dry at room temperature.

7.2. Disinfection
Before disinfection, the wheelchair must be thoroughly cleaned.
The wheelchair can be disinfected with a household disinfectant. Use
approved spray disinfectants or alcohol-based wipe-on disinfectants.
- In the case of multiple product users, a commercially available
disinfectant is prescribed.
- Use only wipe-on disinfectants approved by the Robert Koch
Institute (RKI) and the Association for Applied Hygiene (Verbund
für Angewandte Hygiene e.V.) (e.g. Bacillol AF or Kohrsolin FF);
see manufacturer’s recommendations for exposure time and
concentration.
- Caution: Damaged upholstery parts cannot be sufficiently
disinfected. These should be replaced.
- Under certain circumstances, the surfaces can be affected by
disinfectants. This may result in long-term functional limitations.
Please note our enclosed overview of the most important care,
hygiene and maintenance work.
Attention: Danger of infection! If there are several
users, the wheelchair must be cleaned after each
use.
Attention! Do not use a high-pressure or steam
steam cleaner.
7.3. Rollator check by the user
7.3.1. Brake Inspection
Make sure your brakes are operating properly before each use.
It should not be possible to push the rollator away while the brakes
are activated.
The rollator should be easy to drive without grinding noises and with
good direction stability when the brakes are released.
If you notice unusual behaviour when braking, inform your qualified
mobility dealer immediately and do not use the rollator.
7.3.2. Checking the tyres
Check whether the tyres are intact every time before driving.
If the tyre is damaged, it must be repaired by an authorised dealer.
7.3.3. Maintenance advice
We recommend that the rollator is inspected by a specialist dealer at
least once a year.
In case of malfunctions or defects on the rollator, it must be
immediately handed over to the specialist dealer for repair.
The repair and replacement of parts is carried out by the specialist
dealer.
On request, the specialist dealer will be provided with the necessary
information and documents for repair and maintenance.

You must check your rollator regularly according to
the maintenance schedule and find it to be in good
working order.
7.3.4. Maintenance instructions for
the retailers
Maintenance must be carried out in accordance with the Bischoff &
Bischoff maintenance schedule. A maintenance schedule is available
on request. A training programme for the specialised trade is also
available.
The rollator must be inspected in accordance to the
service plan and must be in good condition.
8. Storage/shipping
In the event that the rollator will be stored or shipped, it is advised to
keep the original packaging to store in it for this purpose, so that it
is on hand if necessary. Then your rollator can be optimally protected
against environmental influences during storage or transport.
To avoid the formation of mould and damage to the upholstered
parts, the storage location should be as dry as possible and not

9. Re-use
The rollator is suitable for re-use. For re-use, the rollator should
firstly be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in accordance with the
enclosed care and cleaning instructions. Finally, the product should
be professionally checked for general condition, wear and tear and
damage and if necessary, repaired by an authorised specialist..
10. Repairs
Repairs and maintenance measures are only permitted to be carried
out by authorised partners (medical houses or specialist suppliers).

11. Disposal
A worn out rollator has a valuable source of material, which can be
recycled into the industrial cycle. Therefore, do not throw your rollator
away with household waste, but allow it to be professionally disposed of
by a state approved disposal department. Your local rubbish collection
will have information regarding this. The environment will thank you.
If you wish to dispose the rollator yourself, please
contact a local recycling company for the disposal
regulations of your local jurisdiction.

12. Warranty certificate
1. For products supplied by Bischoff & Bischoff, the period of warranty
is 24 months from purchase date. The products are delivered free from
production and material defects. Where it can be demonstrated that
there is a material or manufacturing defect, defective parts will be
replaced free of charge.
2. Claims from this warranty shall not arise, if a repair or replacement
of a product or a part is required for the following reasons:
a) normal wear and tear, which include but is not limited to the
following parts where fitted: Batteries, motor brushes, handles,
armrests, upholstery, tyres, brakes, caps, etc.
b) overloading the product such as, for example, by exceeding the
maximum user weight or load.
c) the product or part has not been maintained or serviced in accordance
with the operating manual, the care and hygiene instructions or
the manufacturer’s recommendations as shown in the maintenance
instructions.
d) Accessories have been used which are not original accessories.
e) The product or part has been damaged through negligence, accident
or incorrect use.
f) changes/modifications have been made to the product or parts,
which deviate from the manufacturer’s specifications.
g) Repairs have been carried out, before our customer service has been
informed of the circumstances.
3. To enforce the warranty, please contact your dealer with the exact
details of the nature of the difficulty. The product must be repaired by
a dealer authorised by Bischoff & Bischoff.
4. For parts, which have been repaired or exchanged within the scope of
the warranty, the warranty will be extended to the remaining warranty
period for the product in accordance with point 1).
5. For original spare parts which have been fitted at the customer’s
expense, these will have a 12 months guarantee, following the fitting.
6. If the rectification of defects fails after a reasonable period of
time, the purchaser may, at its discretion, demand a reduction of the
remuneration or withdraw from the contract.
7. The warranty is subject to the law of the country in which the
Bischoff & Bischoff product was purchased.
In addition, please observe the Bischoff & Bischoff care, warranty,
hygiene and maintenance instructions. Your specialist dealer will be

generales
Para evitar caídas y situaciones peligrosas, primero debe practicar
el uso de su nuevo andador en terrenos llanos y manejables
o en una zona libre de obstáculos. En este caso se recomienda ir
acompañado.
• Conduzca únicamente sobre terreno llano y firme.
• Tenga en cuenta el peligro de aprisionamiento entre las piezas
móviles al ajustar, utilizar y realizar el mantenimiento del andador
• El conductor y el acompañante no deben estar bajo los efectos del
alcohol o las drogas.
• Antes de utilizar el andador, compruebe que todas las piezas
fijadas estén bien sujetas.
• Mantenga la ropa y las partes del cuerpo alejadas de los espacios
entre las piezas móviles.
• Evite cualquier tipo de colisión. Evite chocar contra un obstáculo
(escalón, bordillo) sin frenar o saltar escalones.
• Sustituya los neumáticos en cuanto el dibujo esté desgastado.
Al subir o bajar del andador, accione ambos frenos de
estacionamiento.
• Utilice el freno de estacionamiento únicamente para aparcar, no
debe utilizarse para reducir la velocidad.
• Evite circular por superficies irregulares y sueltas.
• El asiento y los materiales del tapizado cumplen los requisitos de
resistencia a la inflamabilidad según EN 1021- 2. No obstante,
no exponga el tapizado ni otras piezas a fuentes de fuego, como
cigarrillos.

• El andador sólo debe utilizarse para transportar a una
persona. el andador no debe utilizarse para transportar
cargas o más de una persona, Respete la carga máxima.
• Tenga en cuenta que las partes tapizadas expuestas a la luz solar
directa se calientan y pueden causar lesiones en la piel si se tocan.
Por ello, cubra estas partes o proteja el andador de la luz solar.
Proteja la silla el andador de la luz solar directa para
evitar quemaduras causadas por los componentes
recalentados.
• .Tenga en cuenta también que el armazón y las partes tapizadas
pueden enfriarse considerablemente en invierno. Si es posible, no
aparque la andador en el exterior cuando haga frío.
• Tenga en cuenta las condiciones de almacenamiento y
funcionamiento.
• Peso del usuario máx. del Rollator RL-smart 136 kg.
• Tenga en cuenta el peligro de sufrir magulladuras al plegar y
desplegar el Rollator. No debe quedar enredada partes de la ropa
ni atrapados partes del cuerpo entre piezas móviles.
• ¡Profundidad de inserción mínima de las barras del manillar!
• ¡Cada freno actúa sólo sobre una rueda de rodadura!
• La bolsa sólo se debe cargar con máx. 5 kg.
• ¡Para la limpieza no aplicar productos agresivos ni corrosivos!
• Antes de circular con el Rollator se debe comprobar el perfecto
estado del mismo, así como el correcto funcionamiento de los
frenos.
• Las superficies del Rollator se pueden calentar si la irradiación del
sol incide directamente sobre el mismo. Existe peligro de lesiones.
• Notificación de incidentes.
Si usted, como operador, usuario o sus familiares, detecta posibles
defectos o limitaciones funcionales, póngase en contacto con un
distribuidor autorizado inmediatamente.
• Los operadores, usuarios o sus familiares deben informar al
distribuidor que le suministró el producto de
cualquier sospecha de incidente grave que directa o indirectamente
haya tenido o pudieran tener y por las que se vean afectados.
Usted también puede comunicarlo a la autoridad federal superior
competente informar de
- el fallecimiento de un paciente, usuario u otra persona,
- el deterioro grave temporal o permanente de la salud
del estado de salud de un paciente, usuario u otras personas,
- un riesgo grave para la salud pública.
2.2. Frenos
Freno de servicio
El freno de servicio del Rollator se acciona con las dos palancas de
freno de mano situadas en las empuñaduras (véase el capítulo 4.5).
Los frenos de servicio y de estacionamiento actúan sobre las ruedas.
Freno de estacionamiento
Empuje las palancas de freno hacia abajo para activar el freno de
estacionamiento; tire de ellas hacia arriba para soltar el freno de
estacionamiento (consulte el capítulo 4.5).

• El Rollator ayuda a personas adultas con limitaciones de movilidad
para andar, p. ej. en el hogar, al comprar o pasear al aire libre
Sólo podemos aceptar garantía si el producto se
utiliza en las condiciones especificadas y para los

• El asiento permite poder descansar cuando los trayectos son más
largos.
• El Rollator sólo se debe utilizar sobre suelos llanos y firmes.
• El producto no se debe utilizar como escalera o como medio de
transporte para cargas pesadas.
2.4. Finalidad
El rollator se ha fabricado única y exclusivamente para aumentar la
movilidad de personas adultas que no pueden andar conforme a las
indicaciones citadas más arriba
2.5. Declaración de conformidad
Bischoff & Bischoff declara como fabricante del producto, que el
Rollator cumple totalmente con los requisitos de la directriz MDR
2017/745.
2.6. Responsabilidad
Solo ofreceremos garantía si el producto se usa conforme a las
condiciones establecidas y para los fines previstos, si los cambios,
ampliaciones, reparaciones y trabajos de mantenimiento los realizan
únicamente personas que hayan sido autorizadas por nosotros y si el
rollator se utiliza teniendo en cuenta todas las indicaciones de uso.
2.7. Vida útil
La vida útil estimada del Rollator es 5 años máximo, siempre y
cuando su uso sea conforme a lo prescrito y se sigan las indicaciones
de seguridad, cuidado y mantenimiento. A partir de este periodo de
tiempo se puede continuar con el uso del producto si el estado del
mismo es seguro.

3.1. Comprobación del suministro
Todos los productos Bischoff & Bischoff se someten a un control final
reglamentario y están provistos de la marca CE.
Los rollators Bischoff & Bischoff se suministran plegados en una caja
especial. Los comercios sanitarios especializados y cualificados se
encargan de la entrega, el montaje y la instrucción sobre el uso de el
rollator.
Los comercios sanitarios especializados y cualificados efectúan el
montaje, la adaptación a las medidas corporales y la instrucción. En
el envío por tren o a través de una compañía de transportes hay que
comprobar si la mercancía presenta daños derivados del transporte
en presencia del portador (caja). Si detecta algún daño, póngase en
contacto con nuestro servicio de atención al cliente inmediatamente .
Compruebe la integridad del contenido. En caso de daños e
irregularidades, póngase en contacto con nuestro servicio de atención
al cliente.
Sólo podemos aceptar garantía si el producto se

4. Montaje/ajustes
4.1. Desplegar
• Posicione el Rollator Bischoff & Bischoff delante de usted en el
sentido de la
• marcha.
• Accione los frenos de estacionamiento.
• Empuje los tubos del marco del asiento hacia abajo para desplegar
el Rollator (fig. 3). Observe que los tubos asienten correctamente y
que encajen de forma audible.
4.2. Plegar
• Accione los frenos de estacionamiento.
• Sujete el Rollator con una mano en la empuñadura. Tire con la otra
mano de la cinta agarradera en el asiento hacia arriba (fig. 4).
• Al hacerlo debe vencer primero la resistencia del bloqueo

• El Rollator Bischoff & Bischoff está desplegado. Accione los frenos
de estacionamiento
• Posiciónese en contra del sentido de la marcha por delante del
Rollator Bischoff & Bischoff.
• Pase las pestañas de la bolsa por encima del soporte y deslícelas
por debajo de los pasadores de fijación (fig. 5).

4.4. Ajustar las empuñaduras
correderas
• El Rollator Bischoff & Bischoff está desplegado. Accione los frenos
de estacionamiento.
• Afloje la tuerca manual (fig. 6) y retire el tornillo.
• Posiciónese por detrás del Rollator Bischoff & Bischoff y deje colgar
sus brazos hacia abajo de forma relajada.
• Ajuste ahora las empuñaduras correderas de tal forma, que se
encuentren a la altura de las muñecas.
• Fije de nuevo el tornillo y apriete la tuerca manual.
• Repita el proceso en el otro lado. Observe que las empuñaduras se
fijen a la misma altura.
4.5. Ajuste y accionamiento de
freno
Freno de servicio
El freno de servicio se acciona con las dos palancas de freno de
mano en las empuñaduras correderas tirando de éstas hacia arriba
(fig. 7). El freno de servicio y el freno de estacionamiento
actúan sobre las ruedas de rodadura.

• Apriete para bloquear las dos palancas de freno hacia abajo
(fig. 8).
• Para aflojar tire de las dos palancas de freno hacia atrás a la
posición central

Ajuste de freno
El freno está ajustado correctamente cuando, sin accionarlo, el pivote
de freno no toca la rueda de rodadura y el freno de estacionamiento se
sigue pudiendo accionar con facilidad.
• Para ajustar el freno más duro se debe aflojar el tornillo moleteado
(fig. 9) en los dispositivos de freno y contraenroscar la tuerca
moleteada.
• Para ajustar en el cable Bowden se debe primero aflojar la
contratuerca (M6).
• Después se enrosca el manguito roscado hasta que se encuentre el
ajuste correcto. Para que no se cambie el ajuste se debe apretar de
nuevo el manguito roscado con la contratuerca (M6).
• Para ajustar el freno más suave se debe llevar a cabo el
procedimiento descrito de manera inversa.
4.6. Ruedas y bandaje
Su Rollator está equipado con ruedas seguras contra averías
del tamaño 190 x 43 mm delante y 170 x 43 mm detrás.
5. Utilización
Andar
Las primeras veces, pruebe a andar en suelos firmes y nivelados.
Familiarícese sobre todo con el funcionamiento de los frenos. Mientras
aprende, debe tener algún acompañante que le ayude.
Para mantener una postura anatómica correcta a la hora de andar, las
empuñaduras deben estar ajustadas a la altura adecuada
(capítulo 4.4).

• Sitúese en el rollator de modo que los tobillos queden a la altura de
las ruedas traseras.
• Mantenga una postura erguida del cuerpo.
• Agarre las empuñaduras con las dos manos, de modo que los
brazos queden levemente doblados.
Al andar con el rollator, intente mantener el cuerpo lo más cerca posible
de las empuñaduras. Ello aumenta la estabilidad y la seguridad frente
a vuelco, además de evitar que la espalda se arquee. Siempre que
pueda, intente ir dentro del rollator y no detrás. Dé pasos pequeños y
no desplace el rollator demasiado hacia delante.
Empujando el rollator puede cambiar la dirección y la velocidad de
avance. Utilice siempre los dos frenos para aminorar la marcha. De
lo contrario, el rollator podría girar con la rueda libre alrededor de la
rueda frenada y usted podría caerse.
En la medida de lo posible, deben evitarse los obstáculos. Intente
utilizar rampas o ascensores. Si no fuese posible, habrá que levantar el
rollator por encima del obstáculo. Para ello, se recomienda contar con
la ayuda de otra persona siempre que sea posible

7. IInstrucciones de cuidado
para el usuario
7.1. Limpieza
Los materiales del asiento y el respaldo pueden limpiarse con agua
caliente utilizando una esponja y/o un cepillo suave. En caso de
suciedad persistente, puede añadirse al agua un producto de limpieza
comercial.
Nota: No utilice nunca productos de limpieza
agresivos, como disolventes/agentes abrasivos o
cepillos duros.
Las piezas de plástico se limpian mejor con un limpiador de plásticos
comercial. Tenga en cuenta la información del producto de limpieza.
disolventes, especialmente alcohol!
• Los revestimientos de plástico son atacados por los tensioactivos no
iónicos y los disolventes, especialmente los alcoholes.
• Limpie las partes del armazón del rollator con un paño húmedo.
En caso de suciedad más intensa, utilice también un producto de
limpieza suave.
• Limpie las ruedas con un cepillo húmedo con cerdas de plástico
(¡no utilice un cepillo de alambre!).
No utilice un limpiador de alta presión.
• Lave las empuñaduras, las almohadillas de los brazos, el asiento y
el respaldo con un detergente suave.
• Las piezas de tapicería pueden lavarse a máquina a 40°C. No secar
a máquina, solo a temperatura ambiente.
7.2. Desinfección
Antes de la desinfección, el rollator debe limpiarse a fondo. El
rollator puede desinfectarse con un desinfectante doméstico. Utilice
desinfectantes en aerosol aprobados o desinfectantes a base de
alcohol para frotar.
• En caso de múltiples usuarios del producto, se prescribe un
desinfectante comercial.
• Utilice únicamente desinfectantes de limpieza aprobados por
el Instituto Robert Koch (RKI) y la Asociación para la Higiene
Aplicada (Verbund für Angewandte Hygiene e.V.) (por ejemplo,
Bacillol AF o Kohrsolin FF); consulte las recomendaciones del
fabricante sobre el tiempo de exposición y la concentración.
• Atención: Las piezas de tapicería dañadas no se pueden desinfectar
suficientemente. Deben sustituirse.
• En determinadas circunstancias, las superficies pueden verse
afectadas por los desinfectantes. El resultado pueden ser
restricciones a largo plazo de la funcionalidad.

7.3. Comprobación previa a la
conducción
7.3.1. Comprobación de los frenos
Antes de cada conducción, compruebe el funcionamiento del
dispositivo de frenado.
Con los frenos aplicados, el rollator no debe poder desplazarse.
Con los frenos sueltos, el rollator debe desplazarse sin ruidos de arrastre
y ser fácil de guiar con un buen avance en línea recta.
Si observa un funcionamiento anómalo de los frenos, avise a su
distribuidor inmediatamente y retire el rollator de la circulación.
7.3.2. Comprobación de las
rueadas
Antes de iniciar el avance con el rollator, compruebe siempre que las
cubiertas están íntegras.
En caso de desgaste o defecto, debe solicitar la reparación a un
comercio especializado autorizado.
7.3.3. Consejos de mantenimiento
Recomendamos que el rollator sea inspeccionado por un distribuidor
especializado al menos una vez al año.
En caso de averías o defectos en el rollator, éste debe entregarse
inmediatamente al distribuidor especializado para su reparación.
La reparación y la sustitución de piezas serán realizadas por el
distribuidor especializado.
Previa solicitud, el distribuidor especializado recibirá la información y
los documentos necesarios para la reparación y el mantenimiento.
Si tiene alguna duda, póngase en contacto con el servicio de atención
al cliente de Bischoff & Bischoff.
El rollator debe ser revisado según el plan
de mantenimiento y estar en buen estado.
7.3.4. Instrucciones de
mantenimiento para el comercio
especializado
El mantenimiento debe realizarse de acuerdo con el plan de
mantenimiento de Bischoff & Bischoff. Puede solicitar el plan de
mantenimiento. También está disponible un programa de formación
para el comercio especializado.
El rollator debe revisarse de acuerdo con el plan
de mantenimiento y estar en perfecto estado de
funcionamiento.

8. Almacenamiento/Expedición
En caso de almacenar o enviar el Rollator es aconsejable conservar el
embalaje original y guardarlo para estos fines, de modo que estará
siempre disponible si fuera necesario.
De esta manera, su Rollator estará protegido contra influencias
meteorológicas durante el almacenamiento o transporte.
Para evitar la formación de moho y daños en las piezas de la tapicería,
el lugar de almacenamiento debe ser lo más seco posible y no estar
expuesto a la luz solar directa.
9. Reutilización
El Rollator es apto para su reutilización. Para reutilizar el Rollator
se debe primero limpiar y desinfectar cuidadosamente conforme
a las instrucciones para el cuidado e higiene que se incluyen en el
suministro. A continuación se debe revisar el estado general, desgaste
y posibles daños del producto por un especialista autorizado y dado el
caso repararlo.
10. Reparación
Las reparaciones y medidas de mantenimiento sólo las pueden ejecutar
socios autorizados (tiendas de ortopedia o comercios especializados).

11. Eliminación de residuos
También un Rollator al final de su vida útil representa una fuente de
material valiosa, que puede volver de nuevo al ciclo industrial. Por esta
razón, no deseche su Rollator en la basura doméstica, sino deséchelo de
forma adecuada por una empresa de reciclaje homologada. Su compañía
de recogida de basura local le dará las informaciones correspondientes.
El medio ambiente se lo agradecerá.
Si quiere deshacerse de él por su cuenta, infórmese
en las empresas de eliminación de residuos locales
acerca de la normativa relativa a la eliminación de
residuos de su lugar de residencia.
12. Certificado de garantía
1. Para los productos suministrados por Bischoff & Bischoff, el
período de garantía es de 24 meses a partir de la fecha de compra.
Los productos se entregan libres de defectos de fabricación y en sus
componentes. Cuando se pueda demostrar que existe un defecto de
componentes o de fabricación, las piezas defectuosas se sustituirán
gratuitamente.
2. Las reclamaciones de esta garantía no tendrán validez si la reparación
o la sustitución del producto o de las piezas fuesen necesarias por las
siguientes razones:
a) el desgaste normal, que incluye pero no se limita a las siguientes
piezas, si están instaladas: baterías, escobillas del motor, asas,
reposabrazos, tapicería, neumáticos, frenos, tapas, etc.
b) la sobrecarga del producto como, por ejemplo, si se supera el peso o
la carga máxima del usuario.
c) el producto o las piezas no han tenido el mantenimiento o revisión

de acuerdo con el manual de instrucciones, las instrucciones de
cuidado e higiene o las recomendaciones del fabricante que figuran en
las instrucciones de mantenimiento.
d) utilización de piezas o componentes que no sean los originales del
fabricante.
e) el producto o la pieza se ha dañado por negligencia, accidente o
uso incorrecto.
f) se han realizado cambios o modificaciones en el producto o en sus
piezas, diferentes de las especificadas por el fabricante.
g) reparaciones realizadas sin haber informado previamente de las
circunstancias al Servicio de Calidad de Movilidad Bischoff & Bischoff,
S.L.
3. Para poder hacer valer la garantía, póngase en contacto con su
distribuidor donde compró el producto, con los detalles exactos de
la naturaleza del desperfecto. El producto debe repararse por un
distribuidor autorizado por Movilidad Bischoff & Bischoff, S.L.
4. En el caso de las piezas reparadas o cambiadas dentro del ámbito
de la garantía, ésta se extenderá al período de garantía restante del
producto, de acuerdo con el punto 1).
5. Para las piezas de recambio originales que hayan sido instaladas por
cuenta del cliente, éstas tendrán una garantía de 12 meses, a partir de
su instalación.
6. Si la reparación falla después de un tiempo razonable, el cliente
puede, a su discreción, solicitar una reducción, compensación o
rescindir el contrato.
7. Esta garantía está sujeta a las leyes del país en el que se adquiera el
producto de Bischoff & Bischoff.
Tenga en cuenta también las instrucciones de cuidado, garantía,
higiene y mantenimiento de Bischoff & Bischoff. Su distribuidor de
movilidad cualificado se las facilitará con mucho gusto.
