Si la rejilla pierde adherencia al altavoz o se desprende, es mejor utilizar un poco de masilla en el interior antes de fijar la rejilla. La masilla actúa como adhesivo entre la rejilla y el marco. En este ejemplo de instalación se trata de sonorizar 2 salas con un control de volumen diferente en cada una de ellas, por lo que cada sala tendrá configurados los dip-switch de manera diferente para recibir los canales de control DMX. El control DMX se logra desde un mando mural único que permite utilizar los un canal de control por sala. En cuanto a la señal de audio, se crean 2 líneas diferentes (LEFT/RIGHT) para conseguir una instalación estéreo. Con el fin de maximizar la instalación, se utilizan fuentes de alimentación externas de 10 A para el conexionado de los altavoces. La configuración de los dipswtich de los altavoces de cada sala es la mostrada en el cuadro adjunto. In order to avoid the risk of electric shock or fire, not expose the unit to rain or moisture, using it in dry environments. Also, avoid spill liquidis inside the unit. The device must be placed apart from hot sources like radiators, temperature registers, heating conductions or anythinh heat source. To avoid damages in the unit, be carefully during the transport, using its original package and avoiding to place heavy object over it. During its installations avoid to hit or scratch it. Also, avoid to subject the device to great vibrations environment. ZONA MODO C. Page 1 R User Manual IC 6 PRO A DIP-SWITCH IC 6 PRO A Manual de Instrucciones Página 18 ES EN CONEXIONADO DEL CONTROL ANALOGICO DESCRIPTION IC 6 PRO A dispone de un modo de control mediante un control mural analógico que mande niveles de señal entre 0 y 10 V DC. Para configurar la unidad en este modo, el dip nº 10 del bloque de dip-switches debe colocado en “ON”. El conexionado se realizará mediante el bloque de terminales marcado como DC 0-10 V, teniendo especial cuidado con la polaridad . IC 6 PRO A is a ceiling speaker with a serial of features which make it different from the others. Its main feature is the inclusion of 25 W power amplifier controlled by DMX signal. Thanks to this innovated idea, the installation results very easy, because IC 6 PRO A can cover many zones (up to 511 zones per universe). The speakers can be controlled independently between them by using, for example, a wall-mount DMX panel. 256 DMX Control DMX is a protocol initially conceived for lighting device control, but its principle founds appliance in a lot of fields like this speakers control type. IC 6 PRO A uses 1 DMX channel (for SHUT DOWN and volume control). For a more extensive explanation about operating and DMX configuration, please refer to the adecuate section on this user manual. Una vez realizadas todas las conexiones tanto de alimentación como señales de audio y DMX, recuerde atornillar la tapa que protege todo el sistema de conexionado antes de proceder a fijar el altavoz en su posición definitiva. NOTA: Recuerde que los pivotes de fijación de la unidad, deben estar en posición de reposo (plegados al cuerpo del altavoz) antes de insertarlo en su posición. DIMENSIONS 220 mm. Pivote de fijación en posición de reposo Self-powered Loudspeaker IC 6 PRO A incorporates a D class amplifier able to manage up to 25 W @ 8 ohm, also to include an audio balanced input. These ceiling loudspeakers are designed to reproduce the music or speech in adecuate way thanks to its configuration as 2-ways loudspeakers. Its design allows to rear side to act as voice box. The grill and frame are painted in white color for a perfect integration. Its compact and discrete format allows its installation in halls, offices, schools, etc. 190 mm. max. La configuración del resto de dips no afecta a su funcionamiento. - Retirar la rejilla frontal del altavoz, que mostrará las cabezas de los 4 tornillos de los pivotes. Alimentación Audio DMX CONTENTS Check if the package has been damaged during the transport, if yes, do not use the unit and contact with your dealer. The package contents is the following: - Atornillar los 4 tornillos del frontal, esta operación provocará que los pivotes giren 90º y se anclen al techo, facilitando su fijación. This safety cord will carry out 2 purposes: on the one hand, secure the loudspeaker against falling and, on the other hand, to make the connect operating more easy once fixed. 1. Dependiendo de la instalación, puede ser que varios dispositivos IC 6 PRO A dispongan de la misma dirección de inicio DMX. En este caso, los dispositivos reaccionarán al mismo control, esta situación puede darse siempre que la asignación esté de acuerdo con los propósitos de la instalación. Por ejemplo, podrían configurarse todos los IC 6 PRO A de la sala al mismo canal de inicio para controlar el encendido y el volumen general de todo el sistema. 2. El mismo conector DMX sirve para recibir la señal y enviarla al siguiente dispositivo y así sucesivamente. Para el conexionado DMX, es necesario un cable balanceado de 2 conductores y malla para el apantallamiento de la señal. DMX/RS485 Trama DMX Señal de control DMX NOTE: For IC6 PRO A insertion into the hole, the swivels must be in stand position. 3. En una instalación con un gran número de dispositivos IC 6 PRO A, es aconsejable la colocación de un splitter DMX de varias salidas, permitiendo conectar hasta 32 unidades IC 6 PRO A de manera consecutiva. Un splitter DMX es un dispositivo que permite restablecer la integridad de la señal si esta se ve afectada por un número elevado de unidades conectadas o grandes longitudes de señal. CUT ALONG INSIDE RING FOR PAINT SHIELD (Ø 214 mm) IC 6 PRO A CEILING SPEAKER IS 2 (splitter de 2 vías) CUT ALONG OUTSIDE RING FOR MOUNTING TEMPLATE (Ø 220 mm) Before making the cut in the ceiling with the adecuate tool, make a pause. The hole must be made using the closed template, cutting by the point line marked as CUT ALONG OUTSIDE RING FOR MOUNTING TEMPLATE. This hole must not exceed 220 mm. diameter (like indicated in the template). Take into account the speaker depth (190 mm. approx.) for an optimal fixation of the device without interfering in electric or air conditioning conductions. Señal de entrada DMX Canales DMX 1 a 4 asignados al control LED The inner circle in the template must be used in order to paint the loudspeaker frame. To make this operating is advisable to remove the grille previously. 5. Cada canal DMX puede ajustarse a un valor entre 0 y 255 (max.). Un canal puede tener varias funciones asociadas dependiendo de ese valor. Por ejemplo, el canal de IC 6 PRO A realiza la función de apagado (SHUT DOWN) entre el valor mínimo 0 y 24 (aprox. el 10% de recorrido del potenciómetro de control), a partir de este valor y hasta 255, se encarga de controlar el nivel de volumen de la unidad. WIRING Due to IC 6 PRO A features, this system connections incorporates 3 different wiring types, each one with its own function: External main supply for the built-in amplifier, audio signal for its amplification and DMX control signal. NOTA: Deje aproximadamente unos 40 cm de cable para un fácil conexionado de la unidad. NOTA: No use grapas o sistemas metálicos de fijación que puedan pinzar el cable y provocar cortocircuitos que dañarían el altavoz. Page 3 User Manual IC 6 PRO A IC 6 PRO A Manual de Instrucciones Página 16 EN CONEXION DMX (Explicación) El 1º canal de control en un dispositivo se llama “dirección de inicio”. A partir de este canal, el dispositivo tomará de la trama DMX, los canales que precise para su funcionamiento, en este caso 1 canal. Esta dirección de inicio se debe corresponder con un canal existente y libre en el controlador de la unidad. IC 6 PRO A necesita disponer de esa dirección de inicio, y esto se logra configurando el bloque de dip-switches de la placa de conexionado. Consiste en un bloque de 10 microinterruptores con dos posiciones posibles cada uno (ON/OFF). Los 9 primeros permiten configurar la dirección de inicio y el último (dip 10) configura el modo de funcionamiento (Analog 0-10V o DMX). De esta manera, considerando la posición superior del bloque como “ON” o “1" y la inferior como “OFF” o “0", se configuran los dip hasta obtener el valor binario elegido. Esto se puede hacer de 2 maneras distintas: 1. Por un lado pueden realizarse divisiones continuas del número de canal deseado con un divisor 2, la relación de los sucesivos restos, dará lugar al valor binario de ese número. Main Supply: The power requiriment of IC 6 PRO A is 30 W, the external main supply connection allows to maximize the units, using an external main supply with much more load in order to supply several unit at the same time. MAIN SUPPLY 24 V DC / 2A + - MAIN SUPPLY 24 V DC / 2A + - MAIN SUPPLY 24 V DC / 10A + - Nota (Caso de que el cociente final sea 1, también debe aplicarse esté número). For audio connections, it is necessary a balanced signal cable with 2 conductors and shield. Tabla de ejemplo que muestra que dips deben pasarse a “ON” de acuerdo al canal de inicio elegido. - Use a three-pins connector and fix in the base marked as AUDIO IN in order to make the connection, paying attention with the polarity and connecting the shield in the GND pin. - The same input connector can be used to send the audio signal to the next device. CONEXION DMX (Valor del Canal) CANAL FUNCION 1º VALOR SHUT DOWN 0 - 24 (LED off) VOLUMEN 25 - 255 (LED on) Balanced Audio Signal (L/R) AUDIO IN Balanced Audio Signal (L/R) AUDIO LINK DMX Signal: The most remarkable IC 6 PRO A feature is the SHUT DOWN and volume control through DMX signal from, per example, a wall-mount controller. DMX is a communication protocol that emmits a frame with 512 channels for devices control. Each channel has its own value (between 0 to 255). IC 6 PRO A needs 1 of these channels (SHUT DOWN function and volume control), allowing to connect up to 511 units controlled independently. From this channel, the device will take the needed channels of the DMX frame (two channels in this case) in order to control the device. This starting address must correspond to an existing and free channel from the controller. IC 6 PRO A needs to get this starting address, this can be achieved setting the dip-switches block on connection PCB. It consists of a block with 10 micro-switches of two possible positions (ON/OFF). The first 9 dips allow to set the starting address and the 10th allows to select the operation mode (Analog 0-10V or DMX). Like this, if we consider the upper position as “ON” or “1" and lower “OFF”or “0", the dips must be set in order to obtain the binary value. It must be made through 2 different ways: 1. On the one hand, continuous divisions can be done using chosen channel number with a divisor 2, the relation of the consecutive rests will be the binary value of the chosen channel. alimentación permite maximizar las unidades, pudiendo utilizar un alimentador de superior potencia para alimentar varias unidades a la vez. To know which dips must pass to ON, check which previous values set up the total sum. DMX CONNECTION (Channel Values) CH. 1º FUNCTION SHUT DOWN VOLUME Señal de entrada balanceada (L/R) VALUE AUDIO IN Señal de entrada balanceada (L/R) 0 - 24 (LED off) 25 - 255 (LED on) Señal DMX: La característica más destacable de IC 6 PRO A es el control del encendido y volumen de la unidad mediante señal DMX desde, por ejemplo, un controlador mural. DMX es un protocolo de comunicación que emite una trama de 512 canales para el control de dispositivos. Cada canal puede disponer de su propio valor (entre 0 y 255). IC 6 PRO A precisa 1 de esos canales (SHUT DOWN y nivel de volumen). De esta manera, pueden conectarse hasta 511 unidades con controles independientes entre ellos. Page 5 User Manual IC 6 PRO A IC 6 PRO A Manual de Instrucciones Página 14 ES EN MONTAJE DE IC 6 PRO A DMX CONNECTION (Considerations) Para la colocación de IC 6 PRO A, es aconsejable que el lugar de fijación disponga de un sistema de anclaje para fijar el dispositivo con un cable de seguridad. Este cable de seguridad cumplirá 2 propósitos: Por un lado asegurar el altavoz ante posibles caídas y, por otro lado, facilitar las labores de conexionado, al permitir operar fácilmente con él una vez anclado. 1. Depending on the intallations, several IC 6 PRO A could get the same DMX starting address. In this case, all devices will react at the same control. This situation could be correct as long as it was according with the purpose of the installation. For example, all IC 6 PRO A could be configurated inside a hall with the same DMX starting channel in order to control the whole system with only 1 channel. 2. The same DMX connector allows to receive signal and send it to the next device successively. For DMX connection, it is necessary a balanced cable with 2 conductors and shield. DMX/RS485 DMX frame DMX control signal 3. In an installation with great number of IC 6 PRO A, it is advisable to place a DMX splitter with several outputs, allowing to connect up to 32 IC 6 PRO A consecutively. A DMX splitter is a device which allows to recover the signal integrity if it is affected by a great number of load devices or long connections. NOTA Para la inserción de IC6 PRO A en su lugar, los pivotes de anclaje deben estar en posición de reposo. IS 2 (2 ways DMX splitter ) CUT ALONG INSIDE RING FOR PAINT SHIELD (Ø 214 mm) Output 1 IC 6 PRO A CEILING SPEAKER Up to 32 linked units per output CUT ALONG OUTSIDE RING FOR MOUNTING TEMPLATE (Ø 220 mm) DMX frame Antes de realizar el corte en el techo con la herramienta adecuada tómese su tiempo. El agujero debe realizarse utilizando la plantilla adjunta, cortando por la línea de puntos marcada como CUT ALONG OUTSIDE RING FOR MOUNTING TEMPLATE. Como indica la plantilla, este agujero no debe superar los 220 mm. de diámetro. Tenga presente también la profundidad del altavoz (190 mm. aprox.) para una colocación óptima del dispositivo sin interferir con elementos tales como conducciones eléctricas o de aire acondicionado. INSTALLATION EXAMPLE The purpose on this installation example is to place loudspeakers on 2 halls with a different control each one, like this, the dip-switches of each hall loudspeakers will be configurated t in different way in order to receive different DMX control channels. This DMX control is provided by a wall-mount controller, using one channel per hall. For audio signal, 2 different lines will be created (LEFT/RIGHT) in order to obtain a stereo installation. In order to maximize the installation, it is advisable to use 10 A external main supplies for loudspeaker connection. The loudspeakers dip-switches configuration is showed in the closed table.
