Before using the Class 2 Power Supply,
read these instructions carefully.

OPERATION
1. For dry location use only. Do not expose to water.
2. Unit will become warm during operation.
CAUTION
1. Ensure jack is plugged into the trimmer unit
before plugging the adapter into the outlet.
2. Do not operate any appliance that has a damaged
output cord or housing.
3. This power unit is intended to be correctly
oriented in a vertical or floor mount position.
4. Be sure voltage is correct before plugging in.
For connection to a power supply not in the
U.S.A., use an attachment plug adapter of the
proper configuration for the power outlet.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC
Rules. Operation is subject to the following
two conditions: (1) this device may not cause
harmful interference, and (2) this device must
accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired
operation.
Warning: Changes or modification to this unit
not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user’s authority
to operate the equipment.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your cordless/rechargeable trimmer does
not seem to be taking a charge, take the
following troubleshooting steps before
returning it for repair:
1. Be sure the electrical outlet is working
by plugging in another appliance to test it.
2. Make sure the electrical plug is not
connected to a switch that turns power
off when lights are turned off.
3. Make sure that the adapter is inserted
into the trimmer properly, all connections
are secure and the trimmer switch is in the
OFF position.
OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
CHARGING THE TRIMMER
1. Insert plug into appliance and connect the
adapter. Before using the trimmer for the first
time, allow it to charge for 16 hours. Make sure
the trimmer’s switch is in the OFF position.
2. Check that the charging indicator light is on.
3. A full charge provides a minimum of 60
minutes use of the trimmer.
4. Subsequent charges should be 16 hours.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE
NI-MH BATTERIES OF THIS UNIT
To obtain and maintain the longest battery
life possible, allow it to charge for 16 hours
approximately every three months. Full battery
life of the unit will only be obtained after three
complete recharge cycles.
USING THE CUTTING GUIDE
Ensure that the appliance is off before
positioning or removing the cutting guide.
- To remove the cutting guide, first adjust
cutting length to maximum (20mm). With the
motor off, remove by pulling up. (Fig. 1).
- To replace the cutting guide, first adjust
cutting length to minimum (1mm). With the
motor off, slide back into position (Fig. 2).
- Use the adjustment wheel to select the
desired cutting length.
TURNING IT ON AND USING IT
Operate the ON/OFF button. You can change
the cutting length at any time.
IMPORTANT! Make sure you keep the cutting
guide flat against the skin. That is, the tips of
the teeth and the little corners protruding from
the comb should always be in contact with the
skin. If not, the precision of the cut may change
(Fig. 3–4).
USER MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
Regular maintenance of the blades and hair
collector will keep the trimmer in optimal
working condition.
Removable Blades
To make cleaning easier, the trimmer blades
can be removed. Make sure that the trimmer is
turned off and remove the cutting guide. Hold
the trimmer with the blades pointing up and
remove them by pressing their points (Fig. 5).
Carefully brush the blades using the cleaning
brush to remove hair.
Rinse the blades. The appliance must never
come into contact with water. Let the blades
dry in the open air before putting them back
onto the appliance.
Self-Lubricating Blades
The blades of the appliance have a reservoir
pad for releasing the necessary amount of oil
for proper operation of your appliance, time
after time. Nevertheless, it is recommended
that the reservoir pad be refilled occasionally
when you notice performance is not as good
as usual.

Remove the blades as described above.
Carefully squeeze a few drops of suitable oil
onto the pad (Fig. 6). Then replace the blades
on the appliance. It is possible to obtain
replacement blades when these are worn out
or damaged.
Hair Collector
For best hygiene, we recommend regularly
removing the hair collector for cleaning:
Remove the collector by pulling the upper part
(Fig. 7).
Empty the collector.
Rinse the collector and leave to dry in the open
air before putting it back onto the appliance.
To replace the collector, place the lower part of
the collector in the appropriate slot and finalize
by clipping the upper part into place (Fig. 8).

(Fig. 2).
- Use el regulador de longitud para elegir la
longitud de corte deseada.
ENCENDIDO Y USO
Oprima el botón ON/OFF para encender el
aparato. Puede cambiar la longitud de corte en
cualquier momento.
¡IMPORTANTE! Cerciórese de sostener la
guía plana contra la piel. Es decir, las puntas
de los dientes y las pequeñas esquinas que
sobresalen de la guía siempre deben estar
en contacto con la piel. De lo contrario,
la precisión del corte puede cambiar
(Fig. 3 y Fig. 4).

DE MANTENIMIENTO
El mantenimiento regular de las cuchillas y del
depósito de pelos mantendrá la cortadora en
condición óptima.
Cuchillas removibles
Las cuchillas de su aparato son removibles,
para una fácil limpieza. Asegúrese de que
el aparato está apagado antes de retirar la
guía. Sostenga el aparato con las cuchillas
apuntando hacia arriba y presione la parte
superior de las cuchillas para soltarlas (Fig. 5).
Limpie cuidadosamente las cuchillas con el
cepillo de limpieza provisto.
Enjuague las cuchillas. Nota: no permita que el
aparato tenga contacto con agua. Permita que
las cuchillas se sequen al aire antes de volver
a instalarlas.
Cuchillas autolubricantes
Este aparato cuenta con una compresa-
depósito de aceite lubricante que lubrica las

cuchillas con la cantidad necesaria de aceite
para asegurar un funcionamiento óptimo, una
y otra vez. Sin embargo, le recomendamos que
agregue aceite de vez en cuando, cuando nota
que el rendimiento del aparato está bajando.
Retire las cuchillas según se describió
anteriormente. Con cuidado, aplique unas
cuantas gotas de aceite sobre la compresa
(Fig. 6). Luego, vuelva a instalar las cuchillas.
También es posible encargar nuevas cuchillas
cuando están desgastadas o dañadas.
Depósito de pelos
Para máxima higiene, le recomendamos
que vacíe y limpie regularmente el depósito
de pelos:
Retire el depósito de pelo, jalando la parte
superior del mismo (Fig. 7).
Vacíe el depósito.
Enjuague el depósito y permita que se seque
al aire antes de volver a instalarlo.
Para volver a instalar el depósito, inserte
la parte inferior del mismo en la hendidura
adecuada y encaje la parte superior en su
sitio (Fig. 8).
