NOTES:
Choose an appropriate location for your fountain.
While Beckett’s fountains are designed to operate as
splash free as possible, some water splashing out of the
fountain is inevitable. Place your fountain in a location
where any splashing will not cause damage.
Keep your fountain full of water and clear of dirt to ensure
proper functioning of the pump.

STEP 1: Place the Fountain on a level, water tolerant surface, away from falling leaves.

STEP 2: Set the pump’s flow control to max. Place the Pump in the center of the Basin.

STEP 3: Feed the electrical Cord down through the Basin's Center Pipe and route the Cord out through the Cord Exit
Notch.

STEP 4: Attach the discharge tubing to pump’s discharge. Position the Fountain Top onto the Basin.

STEP 5: Position the Bird onto the Fountain.

STEP 6: Fill the Basin with water. Do not allow the Pump to run dry!

STEP 7: Attach the light cord to the transformer, Plug the transformer and pump electrical cord into a properly grounded
GFCI outlet.

tomacorriente GFCI de tierra adecuada.
STEP 8: To adjust the Fountain’s flow rate, unplug the Pump electrical cord from the outlet and adjust the Pump’s flow
control. Repeat above steps until you achieve the desired flow.

WARNINGS
The National Electric Code requires that a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) be used in the branch
circuit supplying pumps and other pond equipment. See your electrical supplies dealer for this device.
Always unplug the pump before performing any maintenance or adjustments.
Ensure that the electrical cord loops below the electrical outlet to form a “Drip loop”. This will prevent
water from running down the cord into the electrical outlet.
See the pump instructions for pump safety, maintenance and warranty information.
Do not use extension cords.
Excessive weight or pressure on any of the fountain sections may cause it to tip and/or fall. Keep pets and children away from any of
the fountain sections.

El Código Eléctrico Nacional requiere que un interruptor accionado por corriente de pérdida a tierra (Ground Fault Circuit Interruptor,
siglas “GFCI”, en Inglés) sea usado en las bombas para fuentes u otro equipo para estanque. Vea a su distribuidor de partes
eléctricas para éste aparato.
Siempre desconecte la bomba del tomacorriente antes de limpiarla o hacerle servicio.
Asegúrese que el cordón eléctrico forme una curva debajo de la salida eléctrica “Drip loop” para evitar que el agua entre a la salida
eléctrica.

No utilice extensiones.

TROUBLE SHOOTING - LOCALIZACIÓN DE FALLAS
If your FOUNTAIN PUMP fails to operate:
Check the circuit breaker and try another outlet to verify that power is supplied to the Pump.
Check the water level in the Fountain. The Pump requires a minimum water depth of 2” to operate properly. Running the Pump without
sufficient water can damage the pump.
Check the setting of the Flow Control on the Pump. Check the Pump Discharge and Intake Tube for dirt and debris. Clean if necessary.
Check the fountain tubing for kinks and obstructions.
The Pump may be “air locked”. Plug and unplug the Pump several times to clear any air that may have been trapped.

El nivel del agua en la Fuente. La Bomba requiere de un mínimo de 5,0 cm de agua para operar debidamente. El funcionamiento de la

Si la Bomba tiene aire bloqueado por dentro conecte y desconecte la Bomba varias veces hasta que esté despejada.
MAINTENANCE – MANTENIMIENTO
Indoor storage is recommended for the winter in harsh climates.
Clean your Fountain with a soft cloth and change the water frequently.
Due to water evaporation, you may see a buildup of white residue on the Fountain surface from mineral content in the water supply.
To reduce the buildup, clean the Fountain with soap and water regularly. DO NOT use any abrasive, which may damage the surface.
Se recomienda almacenar en el interior durante el invierno, en climas extremos.
Limpie su Fuente con un paño suave y cambia el agua frecuentemente.
Debido a la evaporación del agua, usted puede ver una acumulación del residuo blanco en la superficie de la Fuente del contenido
mineral en el abastecimiento de agua. Para reducir tal acumulación, limpie la Fuente regularmente con jabón y agua. NO utilice el
abrasivo, que pueda dañar la superficie.
