INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES
Importante: Para el mejor funcionamiento posible del abrelatas mantenga
limpia la cuchilla cortadora.
COMO USAR
1. Coloque la unidad en una superficie plana y enchufe en un
tomacorriente de corriente alterna.
2. Sujétela casi a nivel y gire el imán hasta que descanse plano
contra la tapa de la lata.
3. Levante la palanca de perforación, coloque la lata bajo el
retén y contra la rueda dentada.
4. Oprima la palanca para perforar la tapa de la lata. Esto tambien
activará la acción de cortar. El abrelatas continuará cortando
hasta que la tapa esté completamente cortada.
5. Aguante la lata, entonces suba la palanca para liberar la lata.
6. Separe la tapa del imán. Tenga cuidado para evitar lesiones
debido al filo de la tapa.
7. Las latas muy altas podrán abrirse colocando el abrelatas en el
borde del mostrador.
COMO LIMPIAR
1. Desenchufe la unidad del tomacorriente.
2. Para sacar la palanca de perforación, sujete el abrelatas y jale la
palanca
3. Lave la palanca de perforación en una jabonadura de agua tibia.
4. Limpie el exterior de la unidad con un paño húmedo.
5. Para reponer la palanca, sujete el abrelatas y coloque el pivote
en el agujero para el pivote, entonces empuje la palanca.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Important: For the best possible operation of the opener keep clean

HOW TO USE
1.
Place the unit on a flat surface and plug into a AC outlet.
2.
Hold it almost level and turn the magnet until it rests flat
against the lid of the can.
3.
Lift the drill lever, place the can under the seal and against the
sprocket.
4.
Press the lever to drill the can lid. This too will activate the
cutting action. The opener will continue to cut until the lid is
completely cut off.
5.
Hold the can, then raise the lever to release the can.
6.
Remove the magnet cover. Be careful to avoid injury due to
the cap end.
7.
Very tall cans can be opened by placing the can opener in the
edge of the counter.
HOW TO CLEAN
1.
Unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
2.
To remove the drill lever, grasp the can opener and pull the
lever.
3.
Wash the drill lever in a lukewarm water suds.
4.
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.
5.
To replace the lever, hold the can opener and place the pivot
in the pivot hole, then push the lever.

TO USED KNIFE/SCISSORS SHARPENER
1. Place knife blade lightly in either left or right groove. Draw knife
slowly toward you with a slow, even motion.
SPECIAL ATTENTION: Blades to be sharpened should be clean. Do not
sharpen knives that have serrated blades.
NOTE: this bottle opener is not recommended for bottles having
“Twist-off” caps.
2. Place blade in other groove and do the same. Repeat this alternating
action 4 or 5 times, from one grove to the other until desired
sharpness is achieved.
3. The knife/scissors sharpener can also be used for sharpening scissors.
A large groove at the side of the sharpener is designed especially for
scissors. Place one blade of one scissors in the groove, and then draw
it toward you slowly and evenly. Repeat with the other blade.
TO USE BOTTLE OPENER
1. Unplug appliance from electrical socket.
2. Place can opener on a level surface. To steady, position one hand on
top of the can opener.
3. Place bottle cap edge under opener flange.
4. Apply pressure on bottle downward until bottle cap pops off.

PARA USAR AFILADOR DE
CUCHILLO / TIJERAS
1. Coloque la cuchilla de la cuchilla ligeramente en la ranura izquierda

BEFORE USING
1. Carefully unpack can opener.
CAUTION: Do not place finger underneath the lever where the cutting
blade and geared wheel are located; doing so may cause injury.
CAUTION: Never remove the magnet without first unplugging the
cord and returning the lever to its flush, horizontal position.
2. Wipe with a soft cloth or sponge to remove small particles collected
during packing and handling.
3. Attach the magnetic part (used to hold the can in place when cutting)
to the front panel of the lever by sliding it down over the ‘hook’,
with the circular surface facing down. Press down firmly in place
until top surface is flush with lever.
4. Plug can opener into electrical outlet, and press down on the lever
to make sure it is operating properly.
TO USE CAN OPENER
1. Place can opener on level surface.
2. Raise lever, place can under the guide bar and against the geared
wheel. (See figure 1 to identify parts). Make sure the magnet sticks
completely to the top of the can.
3. Have one hand poised to grasp the can. With the other, press down
on the lever to pierce lid of can. This automatically starts the
cutting action. The can opener will continue to cut until the lid is
completely severed from the can.
4. Grasp the can, and then raise the lever to release the can.
5. Carefully remove lid from magnet. USE caution to avoid injury
from edge of lid.

Polarized Plug

An authorized service representative should perform any other service.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other):
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a
polarized outlet only one-way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
Short Cord Instructions
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming
entangled in or tripping over a ling cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available
and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used, (1)
the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as
great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and (2) the longer cord
should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter or table top
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
Operating Instruction:
IMPORTANT: To ensure continued efficient performance, keep the
cutting blade clean. Electric can opener should be turned off for one
minute after operating for 5 minutes.
