The plug disconnects the instrument. Therefore, place the instrument where it can be quickly disconnected.

The stirred solution may release toxic, dangerous or poisonous gases. Adequate safety measures must be taken, in
accordance with the safety regulations in force, including the presence of hood and personal protective equipment (masks,
gloves, goggles, etc.).

Do not use with explosive and dangerous materials for which the equipment is not designed. The stirrer must not be used in
explosive atmospheres, in bain-marie and to stir combustible liquids that have a low combustion temperature. The minimum
fire point of flammable solution is 110 °C. Only small amounts (< 50 ml) of flammable liquid can be used with the device.

It is responsibility of the user appropriately decontaminate the instrument in case of dangerous substances fall on or in it. It
is also responsibility of the user to use safety substances for cleaning or decontaminating, which do not react with internal
parts of the instrument or with the material contained in it. In case of doubts on the compatibility of a cleaning solution,
contact the manufacturer or local distributor.
È responsabilità dell’utilizzatore un’appropriata decontaminazione in caso di versamento di sostanze pericolose sul o dentro

1. Introduction
MSL 8 is able to stir up to 8L. Due to the new brushless motor, the stirrer stays cold even after several days of continuous operation. This
feature makes it particularly appreciated in microbiology and biochemistry. Epoxy painted metal structure, with stainless steel cover, is
studied and tested in order to give to the instrument an excellent resistance to the attack of chemical agents and to corrosion in general.
The stirring speed can be set within a range of 40 – 1500 rpm using the knob on the front panel.
NOTE: it’s important to choose the most suitable magnetic stirring bar related to the quantity and the liquid to be stirred as well as to the
type of the beaker.
2. Assembly and installation
• Unpacking
➢ Check the integrity of the unit after unpacking.

➢ Switching VELP 100-240V/12V without plug
• First installation
➢ Place the unit on non-flammable surface at least 30 cm from the wall.
➢ Make sure that the rating value of the instrument corresponds to the one of the power supply
➢ Ensure that the socket provided and the relative cut-off device are compliant with the current safety norms and easy to
reach. Use only the power supply provided with the instrument.
➢ Place the flasks containing the sample and a suitable magnetic stirring bar on the stirring plate.
3. Working
Commissioning
➢ Rotate the speed control knob to zero position. Insert the transformer into the socket.
➢ Place the flasks containing the sample and a suitable magnetic stirring bar on the stirring plate.
Stirring
➢ Adjust speed set point by turning the speed control knob.
➢ Speed increases until set point is achieved.
➢ A microprocessor ensures constant speed (counter-reaction).
➢ Switch off the stirring by turning the knob to zero position.
4. Maintenance
Maintenance
➢ No routine or extraordinary maintenance is necessary;
➢ Repairs must be carried out by authorized Velp personnel only;
➢ Instrument must be transported in its original packaging any indications present on the original packaging
must be followed (e.g. palletized);
➢ It is the responsibility of the user, to properly decontaminate the unit in case of hazardous substances
remaining on the surface or interior of the device. If in doubt about the compatibility of a cleaning or
decontamination product, contact the manufacturer or distributor.
Cleaning
➢ Disconnect the unit from the power supply and use a cloth dampened with a non-flammable non-aggressive
detergent.

1. Introduzione
MSL 8 può agitare fino a 8L di volume. Grazie al nuovo motore brushless, il piano di agitazione rimane freddo anche dopo diversi giorni di
funzionamento in continuo. Questa caratteristica fa si che lo strumento sia particolarmente apprezzato per applicazioni di microbiologia e
biochimica. La struttura in alluminio verniciata con apposite vernici, in concomitanza con il coperchio in acciaio inox, garantiscono
un’elevata resistenza agli agenti chimici. La velocità di agitazione può essere impostata in un range tra 40 – 1500 rpm.
NOTE: E’ importante scegliere l’ancoretta magnetica più adeguata possibile al tipo di liquido in agitazione e al tipo di becker utilizzato.
2. Montaggio e installazione
• Rimozione dall’imballo

➢ Posizionare lo strumento su una superficie non infiammabile ad almeno 30 cm dal muro.
➢ Assicurarsi che il valore di tensione di alimentazione dello strumento corrisponda al valore di tensione di rete.
➢ Assicurarsi che la presa di corrente fornita sia conforme alle norme di sicurezza e facile da raggiungere. Utilizzare solo
l’alimentatore fornito con lo strumento.
➢ Posizionare il becker contenente il campione ed un’ancoretta magnetica adatta sul piano di agitazione.
3. Controlli di funzionamento
Accensione
➢ Ruotare il potenziometro alla posizione zero. Inserire il trasformatore nella presa di corrente.
Agitazione
➢ Impostare la velocità di set point ruotando il potenziometro.
➢ La velocità aumenta fino al raggiungimento del valore di set point.
➢ Un microprocessore assicura velocità costante (counter-reaction).
➢ Fermare l’agitazione attraverso ruotando il potenziometro fino alla posizione zero.
4. Manutenzione
Manutenzione
➢ Non sono previsti interventi di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria.
➢ Eventuali riparazioni dovranno essere eseguite soltanto da parte di personale autorizzato Velp.
➢ Il trasporto dello strumento tramite spedizionieri, corrieri o altro, deve essere effettuato utilizzando l'imballo
originale antiurto di cui lo strumento è dotato quando spedito da nuovo. Seguire le istruzioni eventualmente
riportate sullo stesso (es. pallettizzare).
➢ È responsabilità dell'utente procedere alla decontaminazione dell'unità nel caso in cui sostanze pericolose
rimangano sulla superficie o all'interno del dispositivo. In caso di dubbi sulla compatibilità di un prodotto per
la pulizia o la decontaminazione, contattare il produttore o il distributore.
Pulizia
➢ Deve essere eseguita, dopo aver staccato l’alimentazione, con un panno inumidito con detergenti non
infiammabili e non aggressivi.

1. Introduction
MSL 8 peut secouer jusqu'à 8L en volume. Grâce au nouveau moteur sans balai, l’agitateur reste froid même après plusieurs jours de
fonctionnement continu. Cette caractéristique rend l'instrument particulièrement apprécié pour les applications en microbiologie et en
biochimie. La structure en aluminium peinte avec des peintures spéciales ainsi que le revêtement en acier inoxydable garantissent une
résistance élevée aux agents chimiques. La vitesse d'agitation peut être réglée dans une plage allant de 40 à 1500 tr / min.
REMARQUES: Il est important de choisir l'agitateur magnétique le mieux adapté au type de liquide à agiter et au type de bécher utilisé.

3. Controlés de fonctionnement
Allumage
➢ Tournez le potentiomètre à la position zéro. Insérez le transformateur dans la prise.
Agitation
➢ Réglez la vitesse de consigne en tournant le potentiomètre.
➢ La vitesse augmente jusqu'à ce que la valeur de consigne soit atteinte.
➢ Un microprocesseur assure une vitesse constante (contre-réaction).
➢ Arrêtez l'agitation en tournant le potentiomètre à la position zéro.
4. Maintenance
Maintenance
➢ Les opérations de maintenance ordinaires et extraordinaires ne sont pas prévues.
➢ Les réparations ne doivent être effectuées que par du personnel Velp autorisé.
➢ Le transport de l'instrument par des transitaires, des messagers ou autres, doit être effectué dans son
emballage d'origine résistant aux chocs, dont il est doté lors de son expédition de neuf. Suivez les
instructions, le cas échéant, sur la même chose (par exemple, la palettisation).
➢ Il est de la responsabilité de l'utilisateur de décontaminer correctement l'unité en cas de substances
dangereuses restant sur la surface ou à l'intérieur de l'appareil. En cas de doute sur la compatibilité d'un
produit de nettoyage ou de décontamination, contactez le fabricant ou le distributeur.
Nettoyage
➢ Une fois l’alimentation électrique coupée, le nettoyage est à réaliser avec un chiffon imbibé de détergents
ininflammables et non agressifs.

1. Introducción
MSL 8 puede remover hasta 8 l. Debido al nuevo motor sin escobillas, el agitador permanece frío incluso después de varios días de
funcionamiento continuo. Esta característica hace que sea especialmente apreciado en los sectores de la microbiología y la bioquímica.
La estructura de metal pintada con pintura epoxi, con cubierta de acero inoxidable, se ha diseñado y probado con el fin de proporcionar al
instrumento una excelente resistencia al ataque de agentes químicos y a la corrosión en general. La velocidad de agitado puede
establecerse en un rango de 40 – 1 500 rpm usando el mando situado en el panel frontal.
NOTA: es importante escoger la varilla agitadora magnética más adecuada en relación con la cantidad y el líquido a agitar, así como con
el tipo de vaso de precipitados.
2. Montaje e instalación
• Desembalaje
➢ Compruebe el buen estado de la unidad una vez desembalada.
• La caja incluye

• Primera instalación
➢ Coloque la unidad sobre una superficie no inflamable y, al menos, a 30 cm de la pared.
➢ Asegúrese de que el valor nominal del instrumento corresponde al de la fuente de alimentación.
➢ Asegúrese de que el enchufe suministrado y el dispositivo de desconexión correspondiente cumplen con las normas de
seguridad actuales y que con fáciles de alcanzar. Utilice únicamente el conmutación suministro junto con el aparato.

3. Funcionamiento

4. Mantenimiento
Mantenimiento
➢ No es necesario realizar ningún mantenimiento rutinario ni extraordinario.
➢ Las reparaciones solo podrá realizarlas personal autorizado de Velp.
➢ El aparato debe transportarse en su embalaje original y deben respetarse todas las instrucciones contenidas
en el embalaje original (p. ej. paletizado).
➢ Es responsabilidad del usuario descontaminar la unidad en el caso de que haya restos de sustancias
peligrosas tanto en la superficie como en el interior del equipo. En caso de duda sobre la compatibilidad de
los productos a usar para limpieza y/o descontaminacion, contacte con su distribuidor o con fabricante.
Limpieza
➢ Desenchufe la unidad de la fuente de alimentación y utilice un paño humedecido con un detergente no
inflamable y no agresivo.

1. Einleitung
MSL 8 kann bis zu 8L rühren. Durch den neuen bürstenlosen Motor erhitzt sich das Rührwerk auch nach mehreren Tagen Dauerbetrieb
nicht. Diese Eigenschaft macht es besonders in den Bereichen Mikrobiologie und Biochemie beliebt. Die epoxidbeschichtete
Metallkonstruktion mit Edelstahldeckel wird sorgfältig geprüft und getestet, um dem Gerät eine ausgezeichnete Beständigkeit gegenüber
chemischen Stoffen und Korrosion im Allgemeinen zu verleihen. Die Rührgeschwindigkeit kann in einem Bereich von 40 - 1500 U/min
eingestellt werden.
HINWEIS: Es ist wichtig, den am besten geeigneten Magnetrührstab in Bezug auf die Menge und die zu rührende Flüssigkeit und den Typ
des Bechers zu wählen.
2. Aufstellung und Anschluss
• Entfernen der Verpackung
➢ Nachdem das Gerät aus der Verpackung genommen wurde, bitte überprüfen, ob es unversehrt ist.

• Erstaufstellung
➢ Das Gerät auf eine nicht-brennbare Fläche mit einem Abstand von mindestens 30 cm zur Wand stellen.
➢ Überprüfen, ob der Nennwert des Gerätes mit dem des Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.
➢ Stellen Sie sicher, dass die mitgelieferte Steckdose und die zugehörige Absperrvorrichtung den geltenden
Sicherheitsnormen entsprechen und leicht zugänglich sind. Nur das mit dem Gerät gelieferte Stromkabel verwenden.
➢ Positionieren Sie die Kolben mit der Probe und einem geeigneten Magnetrührstab auf der Rührplatte.
3. Betrieb
Inbetriebnahme
➢ Drehen Sie den Geschwindigkeitsregler in die Nullstellung. Stecken Sie den Transformator in die Steckdose.
➢ Positionieren Sie die Kolben mit der Probe und einem geeigneten Magnetrührstab auf der Rührplatte.
Rühren
➢ Durch Drehen des Reglers die Geschwindigkeit einstellen.
➢ Die Rührgeschwindigkeit nimmt nun zu, bis die eingestellte Drehzahl erreicht ist.
➢ Ein Mikroprozessor gewährleistet eine konstante Geschwindigkeit (Gegenreaktion).
➢ Das Gerät durch erneutes Drehen des Reglers in die Nullposition ausschalten.
4. Instandhaltung
Instandhaltung
➢ Es sind keine regelmäßigen oder außerordentlichen Instandhaltungsarbeiten erforderlich.
➢ Reparaturen dürfen ausschließlich von dazu befugtem Personal von VELP ausgeführt werden.
➢ Das Gerät muss in seiner Originalverpackung transportiert werden und alle auf dieser Verpackung
angegebenen Anweisungen sind zu beachten (z. B. Transport auf einer Palette).
➢ Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Benutzers, das Gerät ordnungsgemäß zu dekontaminieren, falls
gefährliche Substanzen auf der Oberfläche oder im Inneren des Geräts verbleiben. Wenn Sie Zweifel an der
Verträglichkeit eines Reinigungs- oder Dekontaminationsprodukts haben, wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller
oder Händler.
Reinigung
➢ Den Netzstecker des Gerätes ziehen und es dann mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen, hierzu ein nicht-
entzündliches, mildes Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
