CFBS1R8CVR 8 INCH ROUND FLOOR BOX COVER Installation

PD-2600 8/14
Install floor box and flooring in accordance with the instructions provided with the floor box.
Use the provided floor gasket [1] or apply a 1/4 inch [6.3 mm] thick continuous bead of electrical grade type RTV
silicone sealant around the perimeter on the underside of the cover flange [2].
Attach flange to the floor box using #8-32 flat head screws [3] provided with the cover, see FIGURE A. Tighten
mounting screws [3] to 10 - 15 lbs-in torque [1.1 - 1.7 Nm].

CAUTION: NOT FOR USE WITH FIRE RATED POKE-THROUGHS. Use S1R8CVRxx covers for fire rated poke-through
applications.

CFB10G55R, or CFB10G55RCR floor boxes.
Also compatible with CFB4G25, CFB4G25CR, CFB4G30, CFB4G30CR , and CFB4G30CI floor boxes when used with the
CFB4GS1R8ADAPT adapter.
Also compatible with CFB6G30, and CFB6G30CR floor boxes when used with the CFB6GS1R8ADAPT adapter.
Also compatible with CFB10G55, and CFB10G55CR floor boxes when used with the CFB10GS1R8ADAPT adapter.
Also compatible with LCFBSSA, and LCFBCA floor boxes when used with the LCFBS1R8ADAPT adapter.

Monter la bote de plancher et le revtement de sol conformment aux directives livres avec la bote de plancher.
Utiliser le joint de plancher [1] inclus ou appliquer un cordon continu de 6,3 mm de pte calfeutrer la silicone de
type RTV pour usage lectrique sur tout le primtre intrieur du collet [2].
Fixer le collet la bote de plancher l'aide des vis tte plate n 8-32 [3] fournies avec le couvercle, consulter la
FIGURE A. Serrer les vis de montage [3] un couple de 1,1 - 1,7 Nm.
ATTENTION - NE PAS UTILISER AVEC LES BOTES DE PLANCHER MUNIES D'UN COUPE-FEU. Utiliser les couvercles
S1R8CVRxx destins aux botes de plancher avec coupe-feu.
ATTENTION - RISQUE DE CHOC LECTRIQUE. Dbrancher le circuit avant de procder au montage.
AVIS - Doit tre install par un lectricien qualifi conformment aux codes de l'lectricit nationaux et locaux, les
normes de communication, les directives qui suivent et toutes directives incluses avec les dispositifs individuels.
Utiliser avec les botes de plancher RAFB4BASE, CFB4G25R, CFB4G25RCR, CFB4G30R, CFB4G30RCI, CFB4G30RCR,
CFB6G30R, CFB6G30RCR, CFB10G55R ou CFB10G55RCR.
Aussi compatible avec les botes de plancher CFB4G25, CFB4G25CR, CFB4G30, CFB4G30CR et CFB4G30CI munies d'un
adaptateur CFB4GS1R8ADAPT.
Aussi compatible avec les botes de plancher CFB6G30 et CFB6G30CR munies d'un adaptateur CFB6GS1R8ADAPT.

Instalar la caja de piso y el piso segn las instrucciones incluidas con la caja de piso.
Utilizar la empaquetadura de piso [1] incluida o aplicar un cordn continuo de 6,3 mm de espesor de sellador
de silicona de tipo RTV para aplicaciones elctricas sobre todo el permetro en la cara inferior del reborde [2].
Fijar el reborde a la caja de piso utilizando los tornillos de cabeza plana #8-32 [3] incluidos con la tapa; ver
FIGURA. Apretar los tornillos de montaje [3] a 1,1 - 1,7 Nm de torque.
