MTD LLC - LIMITED WARRANTY FOR CRAFTSMAN® BRANDED LAWN TRACTORS
LIMITED WARRANTY
The limited warranty set forth herein is given by MTD LLC to the Initial Purchaser (as defined herein) with respect to new Craftsman® branded Lawn Tractors (“Lawn Tractor”).
Scope of the Limited Warranty
MTD LLC offers a limited warranty to the Initial Purchaser (as defined herein) for residential or otherwise non-commercial use of the Lawn Tractor, subject to the Exclusions and Warranty Period as defined herein. The
“Initial Purchaser” is the first person to purchase the Lawn Tractor from an authorized Craftsman® branded product dealer, distributor and/or retailer (each a “Retailer”) of Lawn Tractor products. Except as otherwise
set forth herein, the limited warranty period for this new Lawn Tractor purchased by the Initial Purchaser is three (3) years from the date of purchase as shown on the original sales receipt for the Lawn Tractor
(“Warranty Period”); the frame shall have a Warranty Period of five (5) years; the battery shall have a Warranty Period of four (4) years.
Defects in Workmanship or Materials
Subject to the Exclusions, the Lawn Tractor is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in either workmanship or materials for the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, MTD LLC will, at its option,
either repair or replace any original part that is covered by this limited warranty and is determined to be defective in workmanship or material.
To qualify for this limited warranty the Lawn Tractor:
• Must have been purchased from an authorized Craftsman® branded product Retailer.
• Must have been used only for residential or otherwise non-commercial purposes.
• Must have been used in a manner consistent with the normal and proper intended use.
Who can perform repairs under this warranty?
In order to qualify for the limited warranty as set forth herein, the repairs made under warranty must be performed by an authorized warranty service provider.
How to get service under this limited warranty:
To locate an authorized warranty service provider, contact your authorized Retailer or contact www.Craftsman.com/warranty or call toll-free 888-331-4569. A COPY OF YOUR SALES RECEIPT IS REQUIRED FOR
WARRANTY SERVICE.
What this limited warranty does not cover.
This limited warranty does not cover the following (the “Exclusions”):
• Lawn Tractor purchased from an unauthorized Craftsman® branded product Retailer.
• Damage due to lack of maintenance and/or improper maintenance as described in the operator’s manual.
• Normal wear and tear resulting from use of the Lawn Tractor.
• Use of the Lawn Tractor that is not consistent with the intended use thereof as described in the operating instructions, including, but not limited to, abuse, misuse and/or neglect of the Lawn Tractor or any use
inconsistent with and/or non-compliant with instructions contained in the Operator’s Manual.
• Normal Wear Parts (as defined herein) are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of original purchase by the Initial Purchaser. Normal
Wear Parts include, but are not limited to items such as: blades, blade adapters, grass bags, deck wheels, seats, tires, belts, and other consumable items.
• Any Lawn Tractor that has been altered or modified in a manner not consistent with the original design of the product or in an unapproved manner.
• Paint repairs or replacements for defective paint (including materials and application) are covered for a period of three (3) months.
• Wheel rims are covered for a period of three (3) months for manufacturing defects.
This warranty does not cover and MTD LLC disclaims any responsibility for:
1. Loss of time or loss of use of the Lawn Tractor.
2. Transportation costs and other expenses incurred in connection with the transport of the Lawn Tractor to and from the authorized service provider.
3. Any loss or damage to other equipment or personal items.
4. Damage resulting from the installation or use of any accessory or non-OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part for use with the Lawn Tractor.
Limitations:
1. THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO WARRANTY APPLIES AFTER THE APPLICABLE
WARRANTY PERIOD AS SET FORTH ABOVE AS TO THE PARTS AS IDENTIFIED. NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, EXCEPT AS MENTIONED ABOVE, GIVEN BY ANY PERSON OR
ENTITY, INCLUDING A DEALER OR RETAILER, WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCT SHALL BIND MTD LLC. DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PART, AS SET
FORTH ABOVE. (SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.)
2. THE PROVISIONS AS SET FORTH HEREIN PROVIDE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY ARISING FROM THE SALE. MTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGES INCLUDING, WITHOUT
LIMITATION, FOR TRANSPORTATION OR FOR RELATED EXPENSES, OR FOR RENTAL EXPENSES TO TEMPORARILY REPLACE A WARRANTED PRODUCT. (SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.)
3. In no event shall recovery of any kind be greater than the amount of the purchase price of the product sold. Alteration of the safety features of the product shall void this limited warranty. You assume the risk and
liability for loss, damage, or injury to you and your property and/or to others and their property arising out of the use or misuse or inability to use the product.
How State Law Relates to this Warranty:
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

GARANTÍA LIMITADA
La garantía limitada establecida en este documento es otorgada por MTD LLC al Comprador inicial (según lo definido en este documento) con respecto a los nuevos tractores cortacésped Craftsman®
(“Tractores Cortacésped”).
Alcance de la Garantía Limitada
MTD LLC ofrece la siguiente garantía limitada al Comprador inicial (que se definen en el presente documento) para uso residencial o no comercial del Tractor Cortacésped, sujeto a las Exclusiones, durante el Período
de la Garantía como se define en este documento. El “Comprador inicial” es la primera persona en adquirir el Tractor Cortacésped de un representante, distribuidor y/o minorista de Tractores Cortacésped Craftsman®
autorizado. Excepto que se disponga lo contrario en el presente documento, el período de la garantía limitada para este nuevo Tractor Cortacésped adquirido por el Comprador inicial es de tres (3) años a partir de la
fecha de la compra, como se indica en el comprobante de ventas original correspondiente al Tractor Cortacésped (“Período de la Garantía”); el marco tendrá un periodo de garantía de cinco (5) años; la batería tendrá
un período de garantía de cuatro (4) años.
Defectos de mano de obra o materiales
En función de las Exclusiones, se garantiza que el Tractor Cortacésped estará libre de defectos de fabricación en la mano de obra o los materiales durante el Período de la Garantía. Durante el Período de garantía, MTD
LLC, según su criterio, reparará o reemplazará cualquier pieza original que esté cubierta por esta garantía limitada y que se se determine como defectuosa en la mano de obra o en los materiales.
Para tener derecho a esta garantía limitada, el Tractor Cortacésped:
• Debe haber sido comprado a un vendedor minorista de Craftsman® autorizado.
• Debe haberse usado únicamente para fines residenciales u otro tipo de uso no comercial.
• Debe haber sido utilizado de una manera consistente con el uso normal y adecuado para este producto.
¿Quién puede realizar reparaciones conforme a la presente garantía?
Para poder calificar para la garantía limitada aquí establecida, las reparaciones hechas bajo esta garantía deben ser realizadas por un proveedor de servicios autorizado.

Lo que esta garantía limitada no cubre.
La presente garantía limitada no cubre lo siguiente (las “Exclusiones”):
• Tractor de césped adquirido en un distribuidor de productos de la marca Craftsman® no autorizado.
• Daños debidos a la falta de mantenimiento o al mantenimiento inadecuado, como se describe en el manual del operador.
• Desgaste normal resultante del uso del Tractores Cortacésped.
• Uso del Tractores Cortacésped que no sea consistente con el uso previsto para este, como se describe en las instrucciones de operación, incluidos, sin limitaciones, el abuso, el mal uso y/o el descuido del
Tractores Cortacésped o cualquier uso inconsistente con y/o no conforme con las instrucciones contenidas en el Manual del operador.
• Partes normales desechables (que se definen en el presente documento) están garantizadas para estar libre de defectos en el material y la mano de obra por un periodo de treinta (30) días desde la fecha
original por parte del Comprador inicial. Las partes normales desechables incluyen, pero no están limitadas a objetos tales como: cinturones, cuchillas, adaptadores para cuchillas, bolsas para césped, asientos,
llantas, baterías, filtros y otros objetos consumibles.
• Todo Tractores Cortacésped que haya sido alterado o modificado de alguna manera que no se compadezca con el diseño original del producto o de alguna manera no aprobada.
• Las reparaciones de pintura o los reemplazos por defectos en la pintura (que incluyen los materiales y la aplicación) están cubiertos por un período de tres (3) meses.
• Las llantas de ruedas están cubiertas por un período de tres (3) meses por defectos de fabricación.
Esta garantía no cubre, y MTD LLC no asume ninguna responsabilidad por lo siguiente:
1. Pérdida de tiempo o pérdida de uso del Tractores Cortacésped.
2. Gastos de transporte y otros gastos incurridos en relación con el transporte del Tractores Cortacésped al proveedor de servicios de autorizado.
3. Cualquier pérdida o daño a otro equipo o artículos personales.

GARANTÍA NO SE APLICARÁ NINGUNA GARANTÍA SEGÚN LO ESTABLECIDO PRECEDENTEMENTE RESPECTO DE LAS PIEZAS YA IDENTIFICADAS. NINGUNA OTRA GARANTÍA O GARANTÍA EXPRESA, YA SEA ESCRITA U ORAL,
EXCEPTO LO MENCIONADO ANTERIORMENTE, OTORGADA POR CUALQUIER PERSONA O ENTIDAD, INCLUIDO UN CONCESIONARIO O VENDEDOR MINORISTA, CON RESPECTO A CUALQUIER PRODUCTO COMPROMETERÁ A
MTD LLC. DURANTE EL PERÍODO DE GARANTÍA, EL RECURSO EXCLUSIVO ES LA REPARACIÓN O LA SUSTITUCIÓN DE LA PIEZA DEFECTUOSA, SEGÚN LO ESTABLECIDO ANTERIORMENTE. (ALGUNOS ESTADOS NO PERMITEN

MTD LLC - GARANTIE LIMITÉE POUR LES TRACTEURS DE PELOUSE DE MARQUE CRAFTSMAN®
GARANTIE LIMITÉE
La garantie limitée détaillée ci-dessous est offerte par MTD LLC à l’acheteur initial (tel que défini ci-après) pour une tracteur de pelouse neuve de marque Craftsman® (« tracteur de pelouse »).
Portée de la garantie limitée
MTD LLC offre une garantie limitée à l’acheteur initial pour une tracteur de pelouse à usage résidentiel et non professionnel : sous réserve des exclusions pendant la période de garantie (telle que définie ci-après).
L’« acheteur initial » est la première personne ayant effectué l’achat de cette tracteur de pelouse neuve auprès d’un concessionnaire Craftsman® agréé, d’un distributeur ou d’un détaillant de tels produits. Sauf
disposition contraire aux présentes, la période de garantie limitée de cette tracteur de pelouse neuve achetée par l’acheteur initial est de trois (3) ans à partir de la date d’achat figurant sur la facture originale
(« période de garantie »); la période de garantie de la cadre est de cinq (5) ans; la période de garantie de la batterie est de quatre (4) ans.
Défauts de matériau et de fabrication
Sous réserve des exclusions et sauf indication contraire dans les présentes, cet appareil est garanti d’être exempt de défaut de matériau et de fabrication pendant la période de garantie. Pendant la période de
garantie, MTD LLC s’engage à réparer ou à remplacer, à son choix, toute pièce d’origine, couverte par cette garantie limitée, qui s’avère défectueuse en raison d’un défaut de matériau ou de fabrication.
Pour être admissible à cette garantie, cette tracteur de pelouse doit avoir été :
• Achetée chez un détaillant Craftsman® autorisé.
• Utilisée seulement à des fins résidentielles ou non commerciales.
• Utilisée d’une manière conforme à l’utilisation prévue normale et adéquate.
Qui peut effectuer des réparations au titre de la garantie ?

• Les pièces d’usure (telles que définies aux présentes) sont garanties exemptes de tout défaut de matériau et de fabrication pour une période de trente (30) jours à compter de la date initiale d’achat. Les pièces
d’usure comprennent, sans s’y limiter : les lames, les adaptateurs de lame, les bas récupérateurs, les roues de plateau de coupe, les sièges, les pneus, les courroies et les autres consommables.
• Toute tracteur de pelouse qui a été altérée ou modifiée d’une manière non conforme avec la conception originale du produit ou d’une manière qui n’a pas été approuvée.
• La réfection de la peinture ou le remplacement de pièces pour cause de peinture défectueuse (y compris les matériaux et la main-d’œuvre) sont couverts pour une période de trois (3) mois.
• Les jantes en acier sont couvertes pour une période de trois (3) mois contre les défauts de fabrication.
Cette garantie ne couvre pas ce qui suit et MTD LLC décline toute responsabilité pour :
1. La perte de temps ou la perte d’utilisation de la tracteur de pelouse.
2. Les coûts de transport et les autres dépenses engagées concernant le transport de la tracteur de pelouse au centre de service agréé (aller et retour).
3. Toute perte ou tout dommage à d’autres équipements ou aux biens personnels.
