SAFETY INFORMATION

Before the installation and use, read

this manual carefully:

• For your safety and the safety of your

property

• To help the environment

• For the correct operation of the ap-

pliance.

Always keep these instructions with the

appliance also if you move or give it to

a different person.

The manufacturer is not responsible if

an incorrect installation and use causes

damage.

CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE

PERSON SAFETY

• Do not let persons, children inclu-

ded, with reduced physical sensory,

reduced mental functions or lack of

experience and knowledge use the

appliance. They must have supervi-

sion or instruction for the operation

of the appliance by a person who is

responsible for their safety.

• Keep all packaging away from chil-

dren. There is the risk of suffocation

or injury.

• Keep all detergents away from chil-

dren.

• Keep children and pets away from

the appliance when the door is open.

• Before you close the appliance door,

make sure that children and pets are

not into the drum.

• If the appliance has a child safety de-

vice, we recommend to activate it.

CHILD SAFETY DEVICE

• When you activate this device, you

cannot close the door. This prevents

children or pets to be closed in the

drum. To activate the device, turn it

clockwise, until the groove is horizon-

tal. To deactivate the device, turn it

counterclockwise, until the groove is

vertical.

GENERAL SAFETY

• Do not use the appliance for profes-

sional use. The appliance is only for

domestic use.

• Do not change the specifications of

this appliance. There is the risk of in-

jury and damage to the appliance.

• Do not put flammable products or

items that are wet with flammable

products in, near or on the appliance.

Risk of explosion or fire.

• Obey the safety instructions on the

detergent packaging to prevent

burns to eyes, mouth and throat.

• Make sure that you remove all metal

objects from the laundry. Hard and

sharp material can cause damage to

the appliance.

• Do not touch the glass of the door

while a programme operates. The

glass can be hot (only for front-load-

ing appliances).

CARE AND CLEANING

• Deactivate the appliance and discon-

nect the mains plug from the mains

socket.

• Do not use the appliance without the

filters. Make sure that the installation

of the filters is correct. An incorrect

installation causes water leakages.

INTERNAL LAMP

This appliance has an internal lamp that

comes on when you open the door and

goes off when the door is closed.

WARNING!

Do not look directly into the

beam of the lamp.

To replace the internal lamp,

contact the service centre.

Disconnect the mains plug from

the mains socket before the re-

placement of the internal lamp.

INSTALLATION

• The appliance is heavy, be careful

when you move it.

• Do not transport your appliance with-

out the transit bolts, you can damage

internal components and cause leak-

ages or malfunctions.

• Do not install and connect a dam-

aged appliance.

• Make sure to remove all packaging

and transport bolts.

• Make sure that the mains plug is dis-

connected from the mains socket

during installation.

• Only a qualified person must do the

electrical installation, the plumbing

and the installation of the appliance.

This to prevent the risks of structural

damage or injury.

• Do not install or use the appliance

where the temperature is less than 0

°C.

• When you install the appliance on a

carpet floor, make sure that there is

air circulation between the appliance

and the carpet. Adjust the feet to

have the necessary space between

the appliance and the carpet.

Water connection

• Do not connect the appliance with

old hoses already used. Only use new

hoses.

• Make sure not to cause damage to

the water hoses.

• Do not connect the appliance to new

pipes or pipes not used for a long

time. Let the water flow for some mi-

nutes, then connect the inlet hose.

• The first time you use the appliance,

make sure that the water hoses and

the couplings do not have leakages.

Electrical connection

• Make sure that the appliance is

earthed.

• Make sure that the electrical informa-

tion on the rating plate agrees with

the power supply.

• Always use a correctly installed

shockproof socket.

• Do not use multiple plugs and exten-

sion cables. There is a risk of fire.

• Do not replace or change the mains

cable. Contact the service centre.

• Make sure not to cause damage to

the mains plug and cable.

• Connect the mains plug to the mains

socket only at the end of the installa-

tion. Make sure that there is access

to the mains plug after the installa-

tion.

• Do not pull the mains cable to dis-

connect the appliance. Always pull

the mains plug.

DISCARD THE APPLIANCE

1. Disconnect the mains plug from the

mains socket.

2. Cut off the mains cable and discard

it.

3. Discard the door catch. This pre-

vents children or pets to be closed

in the appliance. There is a risk of

suffocation (only for front-loading

appliances).

To help the environment, use less water

and energy, obey these instructions:

• Set a programme without the pre-

wash phase to wash laundry with nor-

mal soil.

• Always start a washing programme

with the maximum load of laundry.

• If necessary, use a stain remover

when you set a programme with a

low temperature.

• To use the correct quantity of the de-

tergent, check the water hardness of

your domestic system

TOUCH SCREEN

Do not wear gloves when you

touch the buttons.

Make sure the touch screen and

buttons are always clean and

AUTO OFF BUTTON

Press this button to activate or deacti-

vate the appliance. A tune sounds when

the appliance is activated.

The AUTO OFF function automatically

deactivates the appliance to stop the

energy consumption when:

• You do not use the appliance for 5

minutes before you press button

– All settings are cancelled.

You cannot open the door when the symbol is on.

You can open the door only when the symbol goes off.

If the symbol stays on but the programme is completed:

• There is water in the drum.

• The ' Rinse Hold ' function is on.

• The time of the day

When you activate the appliance the display shows the time of the

day for some seconds. To adjust the clock, refer to "Clock setting".

• The programme duration

When the washing programme starts, the programme time decreases

every minute.

Programme duration symbol

The symbol comes on when the digits shows the pro-

gramme duration.

• The end time of the washing programme .

Programme end symbol

The symbol comes on when the digits shows the pro-

gramme end time.

•The time of delay

– When you set the delayed start the time of the programme end in-

creases by steps of 30 minutes till 10 hours and by steps of one

hour till 20 hours.

• The end of the programme

The display shows a zero.

This part comes on only if the door is open - Refer to 'Loading the laun-

dry'.

The programme maximum load

The weight of the laundry

The indicator bar fills accordingly to the laundry weight.

The indicator fully fills when you put the maximum load.

If you need to set a function

• An empty indicator bar comes on when the related function is availa-

ble with the set programme. If an indicator bar does not come on, it

means that it is not available.

• The function symbol comes on when the function is set.

• The indicator bar fills accordingly to the set function.

• If you make an incorrect selection the text bar on the display tells that the se-

lection is not possible.

If you use liquid detergent, set a programme without PREWASH.

If you touch the button

to set the Extra Rápido function, we recommend that you

decrease the quantity of the load. It is possible to keep the full load but the washing results

are not good.

This program removes the micro-organisms thanks to the washing by 60°C and adds on

rinse. In this way the action is more effective. Important! Put into the compartment Stain

a special additive for hygiene and select the option Stain.

The default spin speed is for cotton items. Set the spin speed applicable with your laundry.

If you select this function the appliance performs only a drain phase.

Touch button

to add rinses. With a low spin speed the appliance performs delicate

rinses and a short spin.

Use a special detergent for very low temperature.

Set this programme to have a good washing results and decrease the energy consumption.

The time of the washing programme is extended.

Steam can be used for dried, washed or worn once laundry. These pro-

grammes can reduce creases and odours and make your laundry more

smooth.

Do not use any detergent. If necessary, remove stains by washing or using

localized stain removal.

Steam programmes do not perform any hygienic cycle.

Do not set the Steam programme for this type of clothes:

• Clothes which is not specified on the care label as being suitable for tumble-

drying.

• Clothes with inclusion of plastic, metal, wooden parts or alike.

Touch the button

to change the duration of steam phase.

If you set a Steam programme with dried laundry, at the end of the cycle the laundry feel

humid. It is better to expose clothes to the open air for about 10 minutes to let the humidity

go away. Laundry should be removed from the drum as quick as possible. After a steam

cycle, clothes may to be ironed anyway, but with less effort!

For the programme time, refer to the display.

The cotton 60 °C economy and cotton 40 °C economy are the standard

cotton programmes for normally soiled cotton laundry. They are suitable

to clean normally soiled cotton laundry and they are the most efficient

programmes in terms of combined energy and water consumption for

washing that type of cotton laundry. The actual water temperature may

differ from the declared cycle temperature.

Refer to the display for the programme time.

The consumption information shown in this chart is indicative. It can vary depending on the

quantity and the type of laundry, on the temperature of the water supply and on the

ambient temperature.

This is the programme for test institutes. It agrees with EN60456.

ENGLISH 17

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. To activate the drain system, put 2

litre of water in the main wash com-

partment of the detergent dispens-

er.

2. Put a small quantity of detergent in

the main wash compartment of the

detergent dispenser. Set and start

a programme for cotton at the

highest temperature without laun-

dry. This removes all possible dirt

from the drum and the tub.

LANGUAGE SETTING

The first time you activate the appli-

ance, the display shows the default lan-

guage and tells you to confirm it or

change it:

• Turn the programme knob to set the

desired language.

• When the display shows the necessa-

USING THE APPLIANCE

ACTIVATING THE APPLIANCE AND SETTING A PROGRAMME

For a correct operation of the weight sensor, activate the appliance and

set the programme BEFORE you put the laundry in the drum.

LOADING THE LAUNDRY

1. Open the appliance door.

2. The display (E) shows the maximum

programme load for the pro-

gramme (MAX ) and the weight of

the laundry (KG). The text bar on

the display tells to add the laundry.

3. Put the laundry in the drum, one

item at a time. Shake the items be-

fore you put them in the appliance.

4. On the display the weight of the

laundry updates by step of kg 0.5.

The weight is indicative and

changes with the type of the laun-

dry.

If you put more laundry than the

maximum load, the display tells

that you put more than the max-

imum load.

You can wash your laundry but

the energy and water consump-

tion increase.

To have the best consumption

and washing performance re-

move some items.

The overload indication is avail-

able only for programmes with a

maximum load lower than the

appliance maximum load.

5. Close the door. The text bar on the

display tells the percentage of de-

tergent to use. This data is indica-

tive and refers to the detergent

Make sure not to have the laundry out

of the drum between the seal and the

door. There is the risk of water leakage

or damage laundry.

FILLING THE DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES

The detergent compartment for the prewash phase and the soak

programme.

Add the detergent for prewash and soak before the start of the

programme.

The detergent compartment for the washing phase.

If you use a liquid detergent, put it immediately before you start

the programme.

Liquid additives compartment (fabric conditioner, starch).

Put the product in the compartment before you start the pro-

gramme.

This is the maximum level for the quantity of liquid additives.

The compartment for the stain remover.

Put the product in the compartment and set the stain function be-

fore you start the programme.

Flap for powder or liquid detergent

Turn it (up or down) in the correct position to use powder or liquid

detergent.

Always obey the instructions that you find on the packaging of the deter-

gent products.

1. Pull out the detergent dispenser

until it stops.

2. Press the lever down to remove the

dispenser.

3. To use powder detergent, turn the

flap up.

4. To use liquid detergent, turn the

flap down.

– Do not use gelatinous or thick

liquid detergents.

– Do not put more liquid deter-

gent than the limit showed in

the flap.

– Do not set the prewash

phase.

– Do not set the delay start

5. Measure out the detergent and the

fabric conditioner.

6. Carefully close the detergent dis-

penser. Make sure that the flap

does not cause a blockage when

you close the drawer.

it is necessary to set the pro-

AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMME

1. The appliance stops automatically.

2. The acoustic signals operate, if it is

active.

– The drum turns regularly to prevent

the creases in the laundry.

–The door stays locked.

– You must drain the water to open the

door.

To drain the water:

1. If necessary, decrease the spin

speed.

HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS

THE LAUNDRY LOAD

• Divide the laundry in: white, col-

oured, synthetics, delicates and wool.

• Obey the washing instructions that

are on the laundry care labels.

• Do not wash together white and col-

oured items.

• Some coloured items can discolour

with the first wash. We recommend

that you wash them separately for the

first times.

• Button up pillowcases, close zippers,

hooks and poppers. Tie up belts.

• Empty the pockets and unfold the

items.

• Turn inside out multilayered fabrics,

wool and items with painted illustra-

tions.

• Remove hard stains.

• Wash with a special detergent heavy

soil stains.

• Be careful with the curtains. Remove

the hooks or put the curtains in a

washing bag or pillowcase.

• Do not wash in the appliance :

– Laundry without hems or with cuts

– Underwired bras.

– Use a washing bag to wash small

items.

• A very small load can cause balance

problems with the spin phase. If this

occurs, adjust manually the items in

the tub and start the spin phase

again.

STUBBORN STAINS

For some stains, water and detergent is

not sufficient.

We recommend that you remove these

stains before you put the items in the

appliance.

Special stain removers are available.

Use the special stain remover that is ap-

plicable to the type of stain and fabric.

DETERGENTS AND ADDITIVES

• Only use detergents and additives

specially made for washing machines.

• Do not mix different types of deter-

gents.

• To help the environment, do not use

more than the correct quantity of de-

tergent.

• Obey the instructions that you find

on the on packaging of these prod-

ucts.

• Use the correct products for the type

and colour of the fabric, the pro-

gramme temperature and the level of

soil.

• If you use liquid detergents, do not

set the prewash phase.

• If your appliance has not the deter-

gent dispenser with the flap device,

add the liquid detergents with a dos-

ing ball.

WATER HARDNESS

If the water hardness in your area is

high or moderate, we recommend that

you use a water softener for washing

machines. In areas where the water

hardness is soft it is not necessary to

use a water softener.

To know the water hardness in your

area, contact your local water authority.

Obey the instructions that you find on

the packaging of the products.

Equivalent scales measure the water

hardness:

• German degrees (°dH).

• French degrees (°TH).

• mmol/l (millimol for each litre - inter-

national unit for the hardness of wa-

ter).

• Clarke degrees.

Disconnect the appliance from the

mains supply before you clean it.

DESCALING

The water we use contains limescale. If

it becomes necessary, use a water soft-

ener to remove limescales.

Use a special product made for wash-

ing machines. Obey the instructions

that you find on the packaging of the

manufacturer.

Do this separately from the laundry

wash.

EXTERNAL CLEANING

Clean the appliance only with soap and

warm water. Fully dry all the surfaces.

CAUTION!

Do not use alcohol, solvents or

chemical products.

MAINTENANCE WASH

With the low temperature programmes

it is possible that some detergent stays

in the drum. Make regularly a mainte-

nance wash. To do this:

• Empty the laundry from the drum.

• Set the hottest cotton wash pro-

gramme

• Use a correct quantity of powder de-

tergent with biological properties.

After each wash, keep the door open

for a while to prevent mould and to let

unpleasant smells go out.

DOOR SEAL

Regularly examine the seal and remove

all objects from the inner part.

DRUM

Regularly examine the drum to prevent

limescale and rust particles.

Only use special products to remove

rust particles from the drum.

To do this:

• Clean the drum with special product

for stainless steel.

• Start a short programme for cotton at

the maximum temperature with a

small quantity of detergent.

DETERGENT DISPENSER

To clean the dispenser:

1. Press the lever.

2. Pull the dispenser out.

3. Remove the top part of the liquid

additive compartment.

4. Clean all the parts with water.

5. Clean the dispenser recess with a

brush.

6. Put back the dispenser in the re-

cess.

DRAIN PUMP

Regularly examine the drain

pump and make sure that it is

clean.

Clean the pump if:

• The appliance does not drain the wa-

ter.

• The drum cannot turn.

• The appliance makes an unusual

noise because of the blockage of the

drain pump.

• The display shows an alarm code be-

cause of the problem with water

drain.

WARNING!

1. Disconnect the mains plug

from the mains socket.

2. Do not remove the filter

while the appliance oper-

ates. Do not clean the drain

pump if the water in the ap-

pliance is hot. The water

must be cold before you

clean the drain pump.

To clean the drain pump:

1. Open the drain pump door.

2. Pull the flap out to remove it.

3. Put a container below the recess of

the drain pump to collect the water

that flows out.

4. Press the two levers and pull for-

ward the drainage duct to let the

water flow out.

5. When the container is full of water,

put the drainage duct back again

and empty the container. Do steps

4 and 5 again and again until no

more water flows out from the

drain pump.

6. Pull back the drainage duct and

turn the filter to remove it.

7. Remove fluff and objects from the

pump.

8. Make sure that the impeller of the

pump can turn. If this does not oc-

cur, contact the service centre.

9. Clean the filter under the water tap

and put it back in the pump into

the special guides.

10. Make sure that you tighten correct-

ly the filter to prevent leakages.

11. Put the flap back and close the

drain pump door.

THE INLET HOSE FILTER AND

THE VALVE FILTER

It could be necessary to clean the filters

when:

• The appliance does not fill with wa-

ter.

• The appliance fills with the water for

a long time.

•

The indicator of button

flashes

and the display shows the related

alarm. Refer to 'Troubleshooting'.

WARNING!

Disconnect the mains plug from

the mains socket.

To clean the water inlet filters:

1. Close the water tap.

2. Remove the water inlet hose from

the water tap.

3. Clean the filter in the inlet hose

with a stiff brush.

4. Remove the inlet hose behind the

appliance.

5. Clean the filter in the valve with a

stiff brush or a towel.

EMERGENCY DRAIN

Because of a malfunction, the appliance

cannot drain the water.

If this occurs, do steps (1) through (6) of

Put the drainage duct back and close

the drain pump flap.

When you drain the water with the

emergency drain procedure, you must

activate again the drain system:

1. Put 2 litres of water in the main

wash compartment of the deter-

gent dispenser.

2. Start the programme to drain the

water.

FROST PRECAUTIONS

If the appliance is installed in an area

where the temperature can be less than

0 °C, remove the remaining water from

the inlet hose and the drain pump.

1. Disconnect the mains plug from the

mains socket.

2. Close the water tap.

3. Remove the water inlet hose

4. Put the two ends of the inlet hose

in a container and let the water

flow out of the hose.

5. Empty the drain pump. Refer to the

emergency drain procedure

6. When the drain pump is empty, in-

stall the inlet hose again.

WARNING!

Make sure that the temperature

is more than 0 °C before you

use the appliance again.

The manufacturer is not respon-

sible for damages caused by

low temperatures.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The start of the appliance does not oc-

cur or it stops during operation.

Try to find a solution to the problem

before you contact the service centre

(refer to the table).

With some problems, the acoustic

INSTALLATION

UNPACKING

1. Use the gloves. Remove the exter-

nal film. If necessary, use a cutter.

2. Remove the cardboard top.

3. Remove the polystyrene packaging

materials.

4. Remove the internal film.

5. Open the door. Remove the poly-

styrene piece from the door seal

and all the items from the drum.

6. Put the front piece on the floor be-

hind the appliance. Carefully put

down the appliance with the rear

side on it. Make sure not to dam-

age the hoses.

7. Remove the polystyrene protection

from the bottom.

8. Pull up the appliance in vertical po-

sition.

9. Remove the power supply cable

and the drain hose from the hose

holders.

10. Remove the three bolts. Use the

key supplied with the appliance.

11. Pull out the plastic spacers.

12. Replace the plastic spacers with

the plastic caps. You can find these

caps in the user manual bag.

WARNING!

Remove all the packaging and

the transit bolts before you in-

stall the appliance.

POSITIONING AND LEVELLING

• Install the appliance on a flat hard

floor.

• Make sure that carpets do not stop

the air circulation below the appli-

ance.

• Make sure that the appliance does

not touch the wall or other units

• Loosen or tighten the feet to adjust

the level. A correct adjustment of the

appliance level prevents the vibra-

tion, noise and the movement of the

appliance when in operation.

• The appliance must be level and sta-

ble.

CAUTION!

Do not put cardboard, wood or

equivalent materials below the

appliance feet to adjust the lev-

el.

THE INLET HOSE

• Connect the hose to the appliance.

Turn the inlet hose only left or right.

Loose the ring nut to set it in the cor-

rect position.

• Connect the water inlet hose to the

cold water tap with 3/4 thread.

CAUTION!

Make sure that there are no

leaks from the couplings.

Do not use an extension hose if

the inlet hose is too short. Con-

tact the service centre for the re-

placement of the inlet hose.

Water-stop device

The inlet hose has a water stop device.

This device prevents water leaks in the

hose because of its natural ageing. The

red sector in the window «A» shows this

fault .

If this occur, close the water tap and

contact the service centre to replace

the hose.

WATER DRAINAGE

There are different procedures to con-

nect the drain hose:

With the plastic hose guide.

• On the edge of a sink.

• Make sure that the plastic guide can-

not move when the appliance drains.

Attach the guide to the water tap or

the wall.

• To a stand pipe with vent-hole.

Refer to the illustration. Directly into

a drain pipe at a height of not less

than 60 cm and not more than 100

cm. The end of the drain hose must

always be ventilated , i.e. the inner

diameter of the drainpipe must be

larger than the external diameter of

the drain hose.

Without the plastic hose guide.

•To a sink spigot.

Refer to the illustration. Put the drain

hose in the spigot and tighten it with

a clip. Make sure that the drain hose

makes a loop to prevent that remain-

ing particles go in the appliance from

the sink.

• Directly to a built-in drain pipe in the

room wall and tighten it with a clip.

You can extend the drain hose

to maximum 400 cm. Contact

the service centre for the other

drain hose and the extension.

INSTALACIÓN

• El aparato es pesado, tenga cuidado

cuando lo mueva.

• No transporte el electrodoméstico

sin los pasadores de transporte, pue-

de dañar los componentes internos y

provocar fugas o fallos de funciona-

miento.

• No instale ni enchufe un aparato da-

ñado.

• Asegúrese de quitar todos los pasa-

dores del embalaje y transporte.

• Asegúrese de que el enchufe está

desconectado de la toma de red du-

rante la instalación.

• La instalación, fontanería y conexio-

nes eléctricas del aparato debe reali-

zarlas tan sólo un técnico profesional

homologado. De esta forma se evita-

rán riesgos de daños estructurales y

lesiones.

• No instale ni utilice el aparato en lu-

gares con temperaturas inferiores a 0

ºC.

• Cuando instale el aparato en un sue-

lo enmoquetado, asegúrese de que

el aire circula entre el electrodomés-

tico y la moqueta. Ajuste las patas

para disponer del espacio necesario

entre el aparato y la moqueta.

Conexión de agua

• No conecte el aparato con tubos an-

tiguos ya usados. Utilice únicamente

tubos nuevos.

• Asegúrese de no provocar daños en

los tubos de agua.

• No conecte el aparato a tuberías

nuevas o que no se hayan utilizado

durante un periodo de tiempo largo.

Deje correr el agua durante unos mi-

nutos y, a continuación, conecte la

manguera de entrada.

• La primera vez que use el aparato,

asegúrese de que las mangueras y

los acoplamientos no tengan fugas.

Conexión eléctrica

• Asegúrese de que el aparato está co-

nectado a tierra.

• Asegúrese de que las especificacio-

nes eléctricas de la placa coinciden

con las del suministro eléctrico de su

hogar.

• Utilice siempre una toma con aisla-

miento de conexión a tierra correcta-

mente instalada.

• No utilice enchufes múltiples ni ca-

bles prolongadores. Existe riesgo de

incendio.

• No sustituya ni cambie el cable de

suministro de red. Póngase en con-

tacto con el servicio técnico.

• Asegúrese de no provocar daños en

el enchufe ni en el cable.

• Conecte el enchufe a la toma de co-

rriente únicamente cuando haya ter-

minado la instalación. Asegúrese de

tener acceso al enchufe del suminis-

tro de red una vez instalado el apara-

to.

• No desconecte el aparato tirando del

cable de conexión a la red. Tire siem-

pre del enchufe.

DESECHE EL APARATO.

1. Desenchufe el aparato de la toma

de red.

2. Corte el cable de conexión a la red

y deséchelo.

3. Deseche el cierre de la puerta. De

esta forma evitará que los niños o

mascotas queden encerrados en el

Si pulsa la tecla

para ajustar la función Extra Rápido, se recomienda reducir la cantidad

de la carga. Es posible mantener la carga completa, pero los resultados de lavado no son

tan óptimos.

Este programa elimina los microorganismos gracias al lavado a 60°C y un aclarado

adicional. De este modo, la acción es más eficaz. ImportanteColoque un aditivo especial

para higiene en el compartimento Manchas y seleccione la opción Manchas.

La velocidad de centrifugado por defecto es para prendas de algodón. Ajuste la velocidad

de centrifugado adecuada para su colada.

Si selecciona esta función, el aparato sólo realiza una fase de desagüe.

Toque la tecla

para añadir aclarados. Con una velocidad de centrifugado baja, el

aparato realiza aclarados delicados y un breve centrifugado.

Use un detergente especial para temperaturas muy bajas.

Ajuste este programa para obtener unos buenos resultados de lavado y reducir el consumo

de energía. Se amplía la duración del programa de lavado.

El vapor se puede usar para las prendas secadas, lavadas o que se han

puesto una vez. Estos programas pueden reducir la cantidad de arrugas y

los olores y suavizar las prendas.

No utilice detergente. Si es necesario, elimine las manchas lavando o con

quitamanchas en las zonas manchadas.

Los programas de vapor no realizan un ciclo higiénico.

No ajuste el programa de vapor para este tipo de prendas:

• Prendas cuya etiqueta de instrucciones no especifique claramente que pueden

secarse en secadora.

• Prendas con gran parte de plástico, metal, madera o similares.

Pulse la tecla

para cambiar la duración de la fase de vapor.

Si ajusta un programa de vapor con la colada seca, al final del ciclo las prendas tienen un

tacto húmedo. Es mejor exponer las prendas al aire durante unos 10 minutos para que se

seque la humedad. Extraiga la colada del tambor lo antes posible. Después del ciclo de

vapor quizá deba planchar de todos modos, ¡pero con menos esfuerzo!

Algodón ECO 60 °C y 40 °C son programas para algodón estándar para

prendas de algodón con suciedad normal. Son adecuados para lavar cola-

da de algodón de suciedad normal y son los programas más eficaces en

cuanto a consumo de agua y energía para el lavado de ese tipo de pren-

das de algodón. La temperatura real del agua puede variar respecto a la

temperatura declarada del ciclo.

Consulte en la pantalla la duración del programa.

La información sobre consumo que se muestra en este gráfico es puramente indicativa.

Puede variar en función de la cantidad y el tipo de colada, de la temperatura del suministro

de agua y de la temperatura ambiente.

Este es el programa para institutos de pruebas. Cumple la norma EN60456.

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO

1. Para activar el sistema de desagüe,

vierta 2 litros de agua en el com-

partimento de lavado principal del

dosificador de detergente.

2. Coloque una pequeña cantidad en

el compartimento de lavado princi-

pal del dosificador. Ajuste e inicie

un programa para algodón a la

temperatura más alta sin colada.

De esta forma se elimina toda la

posible suciedad del tambor y de

la cuba.

defecto y le pedirá que lo confirme o lo

4. La pantalla muestra el centrifugado

y la temperatura por defecto. Si es

necesario, pulse las teclas

para cambiar la temperatura del

agua y la velocidad de centrifuga-

tones para agregar funciones o es-

tablecer un inicio diferido. La pan-

talla muestra el símbolo de la fun-

ción ajustada y el dígito (

) indica

el tiempo diferido.

CARGAR LA COLADA

1. Abra la puerta del aparato.

2. La pantalla (E) muestra la carga má-

xima para el programa (MAX ) y el

peso de la colada (KG). La barra de

texto de la pantalla indica que aña-

da la colada.

3. Introduzca las prendas en el tam-

bor, una por una. Sacuda las pren-

das antes de colocarlas en el apa-

rato.

4. En la pantalla, el peso de la colada

se actualiza en intervalos de 0,5 kg.

El peso es indicativo y varía según

el tipo de colada.

Si pone ropa que supere la car-

ga máxima, la pantalla le indica-

rá que ha superado la carga má-

xima.

Puede lavar la colada, pero au-

mentará el consumo de energía

y agua.

Para obtener el mejor rendi-

miento energético de lavado,

quite algunas prendas.

La indicación de sobrecarga es-

tá disponible sólo para progra-

mas con una carga máxima infe-

rior a la carga máxima del apa-

rato.

5. Cierre la puerta del aparato. La ba-

rra de texto de la pantalla le indica

el porcentaje de detergente que

debe utilizar. Esta información es

indicativa y se refiere a la cantidad

de detergente para la carga máxi-

ma que recomienda el fabricante.

Asegúrese de que no queden prendas

fuera del tambor entre el sello y la

puerta. Podría provocar fugas de agua

y dañar la colada.

INTRODUCCIÓN DEL DETERGENTE Y LOS ADITIVOS

El compartimento de detergente para la fase de prelavado y el

programa de remojo.

Añada el detergente para el prelavado y remoje antes de iniciar el

programa.

El compartimento de detergente para la fase de lavado.

Si utiliza detergente líquido, introdúzcalo inmediatamente antes

de iniciar el programa.

Compartimento para aditivos líquidos (suavizante, almidón).

Ponga el producto en el compartimento antes de iniciar el pro-

grama.

Es el nivel máximo para la cantidad de aditivos líquidos.

El compartimento del quitamanchas.

Ponga el producto en el compartimento y ajuste la función de

manchas antes de iniciar el programa.

Tapa para detergente líquido o en polvo

Gírelo (hacia arriba o hacia abajo) en la posición correcta para

usar detergente líquido o en polvo.

Cumpla siempre las instrucciones que se encuentran en el envase de los

productos de detergente.

Compruebe la posición de la tapa

1. Tire del depósito dosificador hasta

el tope.

2. Presione la palanca hacia abajo pa-

ra extraer el dosificador.

3. Para usar detergente en polvo, gire

la tapa hacia arriba.

4. Para usar detergente líquido, gire

la tapa hacia abajo.

Con la tapa en posición BAJA-

DA:

– No utilice detergentes líqui-

dos gelatinosos ni gruesos.

– No ponga más detergente lí-

quido que el límite mostrado

en la tapa.

– No ajuste la fase de prelava-

do.

– No ajuste la función de inicio

diferido.

5. Dosifique el detergente y el suavi-

zante.

6. Cierre con cuidado el dosificador

de detergente. Asegúrese de que

la tapa no obstruye nada al cerrar

el cajón.

AJUSTE DEL INICIO DIFERIDO

Pulse la tecla

varias veces para

definir el inicio diferido. En la pan-

talla aparece el final previsto del

programa.

aparato inicia la cuenta atrás.

El aparato ajusta automática-

mente el tiempo del ciclo para

la colada que se ha introduci-

do en el tambor a fin de lograr

unos resultados de lavado

perfectos en el mínimo tiem-

po necesario. Tras aproxima-

damente 15 minutos desde el

inicio del programa, la panta-

lla muestra el nuevo valor de

tiempo.

INTERRUPCIÓN DE UN

ABRA LA PUERTA

Mientras un programa o el inicio diferi-

do están en marcha, la puerta del apa-

rato está bloqueada.

Para abrir la puerta del aparato:

Pulse la tecla

. El símbolo de

bloqueo se apaga en la pantalla y

un mensaje indica que la puerta es-

tá desbloqueada.

2. Abra la puerta del aparato.

3. Cierre la puerta del aparato y pulse

el botón

de nuevo. El programa

o el inicio diferido continúan.

Si la temperatura y el nivel del

agua son demasiado altos, el

símbolo de bloqueo de puerta

se mantiene. No se puede abrir

la puerta. Si fuera necesario,

realice el siguiente procedi-

miento para abrir la puerta.

1. Apague el aparato.

2. Espere unos minutos.

3. Asegúrese de que no hay

agua en el tambor.

Si apaga el electrodoméstico, es

necesario volver a ajustar el pro-

grama.

7. Retire la colada del aparato. Ase-

gúrese de que el tambor está total-

mente vacío.

8. Deje la puerta entreabierta para

evitar la formación de moho y olo-

res desagradables.

9. Cierre la toma de agua.

El programa de lavado ha finalizado,

pero hay agua en el tambor:

– El tambor gira regularmente para evi-

tar arrugas en las prendas.

– La puerta permanece bloqueada.

– Debe drenar el agua para abrir la

puerta.

Para descargar el agua:

1. Si fuera necesario, reduzca la velo-

cidad de centrifugado.

Pulse la tecla

. El aparato desa-

gua y centrifuga.

3. Cuando el programa termina y el

símbolo de bloqueo de la puerta

se apaga, puede abrir la puerta.

Pulse el botón

para apagar el

aparato.

El aparato vacía el agua y centri-

fuga automáticamente después

de unas 18 horas.

CONSEJOS ÚTILES

CARGAR LA COLADA

• Divida la colada en: ropa blanca, ro-

pa de color, ropa sintética, prendas

delicadas y prendas de lana.

• Siga las instrucciones de lavado que

se encuentran en las etiquetas de las

prendas.

• No lave juntas las prendas blancas y

de color.

• Algunas prendas de color pueden

desteñir en el primer lavado. Se reco-

mienda lavarlas por separado la pri-

mera vez.

• Abotone las fundas de almohadas y

cierre las cremalleras, los ganchos y

los broches. Ate las correas.

• Vacíe los bolsillos y despliegue las

prendas.

• Dé la vuelta a las prendas de varias

capas, de lana y con motivos pinta-

dos.

• Retire las manchas difíciles.

• Lave con detergente especial las

manchas difíciles.

• Tenga cuidado con las cortinas. Qui-

te los ganchos o coloque las cortinas

en una bolsa para lavadora o funda

de almohada.

• No lave en el aparato:

– Prendas sin dobladillos o desgarra-

das

– Sujetadores con aros.

– Use una bolsa para lavadora para

lavar las prendas pequeñas.

• Una carga muy pequeña puede pro-

vocar problemas de desequilibrio en

la fase de centrifugado. Si esto ocu-

rre, ajuste manualmente las prendas

en la cuba e inicie de nuevo la fase

de centrifugado.

MANCHAS DIFÍCILES

Para algunas manchas, el agua y el de-

tergente no son suficientes.

Se recomienda eliminar estas manchas

antes de colocar las prendas en el apa-

rato.

Existen quitamanchas especiales. Utili-

ce el quitamanchas especial adecuado

al tipo de mancha y tejido.

DETERGENTES Y ADITIVOS

• Utilice solo detergentes y aditivos es-

pecialmente fabricados para lavado-

ras.

• No mezcle diferentes tipos de deter-

gentes.

• Para respetar el medio ambiente, no

ponga más detergente del necesario.

• Siga siempre las instrucciones que se

encuentran en el envase de estos

productos.

• Use los productos adecuados para el

tipo y color del tejido, la temperatura

del programa y el grado de sucie-

dad.

• Si utiliza detergente líquido, no ajus-

te la fase de prelavado.

• Si el aparato no tiene el dosificador

de detergente con dispositivo de

compuerta, añada los detergentes lí-

quidos con una bola dosificadora.

DUREZA AGUA

Si la dureza del agua de su zona es alta

o moderada, se recomienda usar un

descalcificador de agua para lavadoras.

En las zonas en las que la dureza del

agua sea baja, no es necesario utilizar

un descalcificador.

Póngase en comunicación con las auto-

ridades correspondientes para conocer

la dureza del agua de su zona.

Siga siempre las instrucciones que se

encuentran en el envase de los produc-

tos.

las equivalentes:

• Grados alemanes (°dH).

• Grados franceses (°TH).

• mmol/l (milimol por litro, unidad in-

ternacional de la dureza del agua).

ADVERTENCIA

Desconecte el aparato de la fuente de

alimentación antes de limpiarlo.

DESCALCIFICACIÓN

El agua corriente que utilizamos suele

contener cal. Si es necesario, use un

descalcificador de agua para eliminar la

cal.

Use un producto especial para lavado-

ras. Siga siempre las instrucciones que

se encuentran en el envase del fabri-

cante.

Hágalo de forma separada del lavado

de la colada.

LIMPIEZA DEL EXTERIOR

Limpie el aparato solo con agua tem-

plada y jabón. Seque completamente

todas las superficies.

PRECAUCIÓN

No utilice alcohol, disolventes ni

otros productos químicos.

LAVADO DE

MANTENIMIENTO

Con los programas a baja temperatura,

es posible que quede algo de deter-

gente en el tambor. Realice periódica-

mente un lavado de mantenimiento.

Para ello:

• Saque las prendas del tambor.

• Seleccione el programa de lavado de

algodón de mayor temperatura

• Use la cantidad correcta de deter-

gente en polvo con propiedades bio-

lógicas.

Después de cada lavado, mantenga la

puerta abierta unos instantes para eli-

minar la humedad y los olores desagra-

dables.

JUNTA DE ESTANQUEIDAD DE LA PUERTA

Examine periódicamente la junta y ex-

traiga todos los objetos de la pieza in-

terior.

TAMBOR

Examine periódicamente el tambor pa-

ra evitar la formación de cal y partículas

de óxido.

Utilice únicamente productos especia-

les para eliminar la partículas de óxido

del tambor.

Proceda de la siguiente manera:

• Limpie el tambor con un producto

especial para acero inoxidable.

• Inicie un programa corto para algo-

dón a la temperatura máxima con

una pequeña cantidad de detergen-

te.

DOSIFICADOR DE DETERGENTE

Para limpiar el dosificador:

1. Presione la palanca.

2. Tire del dosificador hacia fuera.

3. Retire la parte superior del com-

partimento de aditivo líquido.

4. Limpie todas las piezas con agua.

5. Limpie el hueco del dosificador

con un cepillo.

6. Vuelva a colocar el dosificador en

el hueco.

BOMBA DE DESAGÜE

Examine periódicamente la

bomba de desagüe y asegúrese

de que está limpia.

Limpie la bomba si:

• El aparato no desagua.

• El tambor no gira.

• El aparato hace ruidos extraños debi-

do al bloqueo de la bomba.

• La pantalla muestra un código de

alarma debido al problema con el

desagüe.

ADVERTENCIA

1. Desenchufe el aparato de la

toma de red.

2. No quite el filtro mientras el

aparato esté en funciona-

miento. No limpie la bomba

si el agua del electrodomés-

tico está caliente. El agua

debe enfriarse para poder

limpiar la bomba de desa-

güe.

Para limpiar la bomba de desagüe:

1. Abra la puerta de acceso a la bom-

ba.

2. Tire de la tapa para extraerlo.

3. Coloque un recipiente debajo del

hueco de la bomba para recoger el

agua que salga.

4. Presione las dos palancas y tire del

conducto de desagüe para que sal-

ga el agua.

5. Cuando el contenedor esté lleno

de agua, vuelva a colocar el con-

ducto y vacíe el contenedor. Reali-

ce los pasos 4 y 5 repetidamente

hasta que no salga más agua de la

bomba.

6. Vuelva a colocar el conducto de

desagüe y gire el filtro para retirar-

lo.

7. Retire las pelusas y objetos de la

bomba.

8. Asegúrese de que el rotor de la

bomba gira. Si no es así, póngase

en contacto con el servicio técnico.

9. Limpie el filtro con agua corriente y

vuelva a colocarlo en la bomba en

las guías especiales.

10. Asegúrese de que lo aprieta co-

rrectamente para evitar fugas.

11. Vuelva a colocar la compuerta y

cierre la puerta de la bomba.

EL FILTRO DEL TUBO DE

ENTRADA Y EL FILTRO DE LA

VÁLVULA

Podría ser necesario limpiar los filtros

cuando:

• El aparato no carga agua.

• El aparato llena con agua durante

mucho tiempo.

•

El indicador del botón

parpadea

y la pantalla muestra la alarma co-

rrespondiente. Consulte "Solución

de problemas".

ADVERTENCIA

Desenchufe el aparato de la to-

ma de red.

Limpieza de los filtros de entrada de agua:

1. Cierre la toma de agua.

2. Retire las tomas de entrada de

agua de los grifos.

3. Limpie el filtro del tubo de entrada

con un cepillo rígido.

4. Retire el tubo de entrada situado

detrás del aparato.

5. Limpie el filtro de la válvula con un

cepillo rígido o una toalla.

DESAGÜE DE EMERGENCIA

Debido a una avería, el aparato no pue-

de desaguar.

Si esto ocurre, realice los pasos 1) a 6)

del apartado "Para limpiar la bomba de

desagüe".

Limpie la bomba si fuera necesario.

Vuelva a colocar el conducto de desa-

güe y cierre la compuerta de la bomba.

Cuando se desagua con el procedi-

miento de drenaje de emergencia, se

debe activar de nuevo el sistema de

desagüe:

1. Coloque 2 litros de agua en el

compartimento de lavado principal

del dosificador de detergente.

2. Inicie el programa para desaguar.

MEDIDAS ANTI

CONGELACIÓN

Si el aparato está instalado en una zona

donde la temperatura puede llegar a

ser inferior a 0 °C, retire el agua restan-

te del tubo de entrada y la bomba de

desagüe.

1. Desenchufe el aparato de la toma

de red.

2. Cierre la toma de agua.

3. Retire la manguera de entrada de

agua.

4. Coloque los dos extremos del tubo

de entrada en un recipiente y deje

que salga el agua.

5. Vacíe la bomba de descarga. Con-

sulte el procedimiento de desagüe

de emergencia

6. Cuando la bomba esté vacía, colo-

que de nuevo la manguera.

ADVERTENCIA

Asegúrese de que la temperatu-

ra es superior a 0 °C antes de

usar de nuevo el aparato.

El fabricante no se hace respon-

sable de los daños derivados de

las bajas temperaturas.

El aparato no se pone en marcha o se

detiene durante el funcionamiento.

Intente encontrar una solución al pro-

blema antes de ponerse en contacto

con el centro de servicio (consulte la ta-

bla).

Con algunos problemas, las señales

acústicas funcionan y la pantalla

muestra un mensaje de alarma.

un cúter.

2. Retire la cubierta de cartón.

3. Retire los materiales del embalaje

de poliestireno.

4. Retire la película interna.

5. Abra la puerta. Retire la pieza de

poliestireno de la junta de la puer-

ta y todos los elementos del tam-

bor.

7. Retire la protección de poliestireno

de la base.

8. Levante el aparato hasta la posi-

ción vertical.

9. Retire el cable de alimentación y el

tubo de desagüe de los soportes

de los tubos.

10. Suelte los tres pernos. Utilice la lla-

ve suministrada con el aparato.

11. Extraiga los separadores de plásti-

co.

12. Cambie los separadores de plásti-

co por los tapones de plástico. En-

contrará los tapones en la bolsa del

manual de instrucciones.

ADVERTENCIA

Retire todo el embalaje y los pa-

sadores de transporte antes de

instalar el aparato.

Se recomienda guardar el em-

balaje y los pasadores de trans-

porte para cuando traslade el

aparato.

COLOCACIÓN Y NIVELADO

• Instale la lavadora en el suelo sobre

una superficie plana y rígida.

• Asegúrese de que las moquetas no

impidan la circulación de aire por de-

bajo del electrodoméstico.

• Cerciórese de que el aparato no en-

tra en contacto con la pared u otros

armarios de cocina.

• Afloje o apriete las patas para ajustar

el nivel. El ajuste correcto del nivel

del aparato evita vibraciones, ruidos

y el movimiento del aparato cuando

está funcionando.

• El aparato debe estar nivelado y es-

table.

PRECAUCIÓN

No coloque cartón, madera ni

materiales equivalentes bajo las

patas del aparato para ajustar el

nivel.

EL TUBO DE ENTRADA

• Conecte el tubo al aparato. Gire el

tubo de entrada solo a la derecha o a

la izquierda. Suelte la tuerca anular

para ajustarla en la posición correcta.

• Conecte el tubo de entrada de agua

fría a una toma de agua fría con rosca

de 3/4.

PRECAUCIÓN

Asegúrese de que no haya fu-

gas de los acoplamientos.

No utilice ningún tubo de ex-

tensión si el tubo de entrada es

demasiado corto. Póngase en

contacto con el servicio técnico

para cambiar el tubo.

Dispositivo antifuga

El tubo de entrada tiene un dispositivo

antifuga. Este dispositivo evita las fugas

de agua del tubo por el desgaste nor-

mal. El sector rojo de la ventana «A»

muestra este fallo.

Si esto ocurre, cierre el grifo de agua y

póngase en contacto con el servicio

técnico para cambiar el tubo.

DESAGÜE

Hay distintos procedimientos para co-

nectar el tubo de desagüe:

Con la guía de plástico.

• En el borde de un fregadero.

• Asegúrese de que la guía de plástico

no se mueva cuando el aparato desa-

gua. Acople la guía al grifo de agua

o a la pared.

• A un tubo vertical con orificio de ven-

tilación.

Consulte la ilustración. Directamente

en un tubo de desagüe a una altura

mínima de 60 cm y máxima de 100

cm. El extremo de la manguera de

desagüe debe quedar siempre al ai-

re; es decir, el diámetro interior de la

tubería de desagüe debe ser mayor

que el diámetro exterior del tubo de

desagüe.

Sin la guía de plástico.

•A un desagüe.

Consulte la ilustración. Coloque el tu-

bo de desagüe en el sumidero y ase-

gúrela con una brida. Asegúrese de

que el tubo de desagüe realiza un

bucle para evitar que las partículas

restantes entren en el aparato desde

el fregadero.

• Directamente a un tubo de desagüe

integrado en la pared de la habita-

ción y apretando con una brida.

Puede extender el tubo de de-

sagüe hasta un máximo de 400

cm. Póngase en contacto con el

servicio técnico para el otro tu-

bo de desagüe y la extensión.
