• Turn off and unplug cord before replacing light bulbs.
• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled
into a tub or sink.
• Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
• If an appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not
reach into the water.
• Bulb gets HOT quickly. Touch only the base when turning on.
• DO NOT touch hot bulb, guard, or enclosure.
• Use on any 120 volt 60 hertz AC electric outlet (ordinary
house current). Do not use it on any other electrical outlet.

SPECIAL WARNINGS

To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,

1. Carefully remove all contents from the packaging and inspect the
product to make sure all components have been received (Fig 1).
2. Remove protective plastic coating from mirror face.
3. Place mirror on an even surface.
4. Adjust the mirror to either normal or magnified viewing. To do
so swivel the mirror to the viewing side of your preference while
firmly holding down the base.
5. Plug unit into a 120V household outlet.
6. Select the light setting of your preference with the Illumi-Touch
control feature. Touch the base of the mirror to activate:
•Touch once for evening (Low)
•Touch a second time for office (Medium)
•Touch a third time for day (High)
•Touch a fourth time to turn off
Note: The mirror casing may be hot after prolonged use. Be
cautious when adjusting the mirror face.

Caution: Before replacing the bulb, always turn mirror off
and allow it to cool for at least 5 minutes.
• Remove the three screws on the side of the mirror with a
Philips screwdriver (Fig. 1).
• Take off the mirror casing by gently pulling apart at
the seam.
• Unscrew light bulb and replace with a new one. Light
bulb is 120v, 25 Watt Type T. For your convenience, one
replacement bulb is included
• Replace the mirror casing and line up the screw holes.

You may leave the mirror on display or you can store it in
its box or a cool, dry place.
• If you choose to store it, NEVER leave the mirror in a
position where it can reflect direct sunlight, this may
cause a fire.
• Allow to cool to room temperature before storing.
• Do not wrap cord around the mirror.

Always unplug before cleaning the mirror. Never use
liquids or abrasive cleaners to clean, use only a damp cloth
with a mild cleanser.
• Clean the mirror with only a commercial glass cleaner or
water. Do not submerge the mirror or use excessive
water while cleaning.
• Do not plug mirror in until it is completely dry.

HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for
a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below. HoMedics warrants that its
products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty
extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.
To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, mail the product and your dated sales receipt (as
proof of purchase), postpaid, to the following address:

HoMedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer pur-
chaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate HoMedics in any way beyond the
terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the
attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized
repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunc-
tion or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance;
transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period
the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever
that are beyond the control of HoMedics.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product
is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country
than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products
damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL BE
NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MER-
CHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH
RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. HOMEDICS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY
INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS WARRANTY REQUIRE
MORE THAN THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY PART OR PARTS WHICH ARE FOUND TO BE DEFEC-
TIVE WITHIN THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF THE WARRANTY. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. IF REPLACE-
MENT PARTS FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, HOMEDICS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO
MAKE PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS IN LIEU OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT.
This warranty does not extend to the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged and/or resealed prod-
ucts, including but not limited to sale of such products on Internet auction sites and/or sales of such prod-
ucts by surplus or bulk resellers. Any and all warranties or guarantees shall immediately cease and termi-
nate as to any products or parts thereof which are repaired, replaced, altered, or modified, without the prior
express and written consent of HoMedics.

1. Retire cuidadosamente todos los elementos del paquete e inspeccione el
producto para asegurarse de haber recibido todas las piezas.
2. Retire la cobertura protectora de plástico de la cara del espejo.
3. Coloque el espejo sobre una superficie uniforme.
4. Ajuste el espejo ya sea en la vista normal o en la aumentada. Para hacer
esto gire el espejo hacia el lado de la vista que prefiera mientras sujeta la
base con firmeza.
5. Enchufe la unidad a un tomacorriente domiciliario de 120V.
6. Seleccione el ajuste de luz de su preferencia con la función del control
Illumi-Touch. Toque la base del espejo para activarlo:
•Toque una vez para la noche (bajo)
•Toque una segunda vez para la oficina (medio)

ADVERTENCIAS ESPECIALES
• NUNCA intente tomar un artefacto que haya caído al agua. Desenchúfelo
de inmediato.
• NO lo coloque ni lo deje caer en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.
• Use el artefacto únicamente sobre una superficie nivelada o firme.
Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico, este artefacto tiene un
enchufe polarizado (una paleta es más ancha que la otra). Este enchufe
encaja de una sola forma en un tomacorriente polarizado. Si el enchufe
no encaja completamente en el tomacorriente, invierta el enchufe. Si aún
así no encaja, póngase en contacto con un electricista calificado para
que instale el tomacorriente adecuado. NO modifique el enchufe de

Precaución: Antes de cambiar la bombilla, siempre apague el espejo
y déjelo enfriar al menos 5 minutos.
• Retire los tres tornillos al costado del espejo con un destornillador
Phillips (Fig. 1).
• Retire la carcasa del espejo separándola del reborde con suavidad.
• Desenrosque la bombilla y cámbiela por una nueva. La bombilla
es de 120V, 25 Vatios Tipo T. Para su comodidad, se incluye una
bombilla de repuesto.
• Vuelva a colocar la carcasa del espejo y alinee los orificios de los
tornillos. Vuelva a atornillarla en su lugar.

Puede dejar el espejo en exhibición o puede guardarlo en su caja o
en un lugar fresco y seco.
• Si decide guardarlo: NUNCA deje el espejo en una posición
donde pueda reflejar los rayos del sol directamente, esto puede
ocasionar un incendio.
• Déjelo enfriar hasta que alcance la temperatura ambiente antes
de guardarlo.
• NO envuelva el cable alrededor del espejo.

Siempre desenchufe el espejo antes de limpiarlo. NUNCA utilice
líquidos o limpiadores abrasivos para limpiar, utilice únicamente un
paño húmedo con un producto de limpieza suave.
• Limpie el espejo sólo con un limpiavidrios comercial o con agua.
No sumerja el espejo ni utilice agua en exceso mientras lo limpia.
• NO enchufe el espejo hasta que no esté completamente seco.
