Designed to ﬁnd your studs and make life easier– included in hardware kit.

TWO SIMPLE STEPS

TO FINDING YOUR STUDS:

Holding it vertically, lightly move the SANUS

Magnetic Stud Finder up and down while

sliding across your wall. The magnet within

will be attracted to the screws in the stud.

Once the magnet has landed on a screw,

place a pencil mark on the wall

directly below the magnet.

You can verify this is a stud by moving the

Magnetic Stud Finder up or down to ﬁnd

a second or third screw within the wall.

Pull apart the SANUS Magnetic Stud Finder to

expose the probing pin within. Starting about

inch away from the ﬁrst pencil mark insert

the probing pin into the wall every

inch until

it inserts completely into the wall. Once that

happens, you know you've found one edge of

your stud. Repeat this process till you have

found the stud edges and center of the stud.

1-3 Attach Vertical TV Brackets

Align the vertical TV brackets

over your TV hole pattern, and secure using your screw/washer (a) or spacer/screw/washer (b) selection.

CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injury or property damage! The hanging tabs must face downward as shown.

1-4 Attach Horizontal TV Bracket

1. Slide the sides of horizontal TV bracket

to align with the vertical TV brackets

1. Locate a nail/screw in the studs using the

Sanus magnetic stud finder

provided.

2. Find the edges of the studs using the probe

of the stud finder

3. Mark the centers of the studs with pencil.

4. Place the wall plate template

at your desired height and position the slotted holes over your stud center lines. Level the wall plate

template

and tape in place.

NOTE: For assistance in determining wall plate location, see Height Finder at sanus.com.

IMPORTANT: Be sure you mark and drill into the center of the stud.

5. Drill the four pilot holes using a 7/32 in. (5.5 mm) diameter drill bit.

IMPORTANT: Pilot holes must be drilled to a depth of 3 in. (75 mm).

6. Partially install the top two lag bolts

leaving about 1/2 in. (13 mm) space from the wall.

NOTE: This space allows you to remove the template

and hang the wall plate

onto the top lag bolts

8. Prepare the wall plate

by sliding the wall plate covers up/down so the mounting holes are visible.

9. Hang the wall plate

on the top lag bolts.

10. Install the bottom two lag bolts

. Tighten all four lag bolts

only until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate

NOTE: Hold the wall plate

in place when tightening the first bolt

to keep the plate from shifting out of place.

CAUTION: Improper use could reduce the holding power of the lag bolts

. DO NOT over-tighten the lag bolts.

● Minimum solid concrete thickness: 8 in. (203 mm)

1. Position the wall plate template

on the wall at your desired height. Level the wall plate template and mark the hole locations.

NOTE: For assistance in determining wall plate location, see Height Finder at sanus.com.

2. Drill four pilot holes using a 3/8 in. (10 mm) diameter masonry drill bit.

IMPORTANT: Pilot holes must be drilled to a depth of 3 in. (75 mm). Never drill into the mortar between blocks.

4. Partially install the top two lag bolts

REMOVING THE TV

If you need to remove your TV from the wall

plate, disconnect all cables and then reverse

the procedures in STEP 3, PAGE 18.

NOTE: Use two people for this procedure, or remove the TV before starting.

1. Unlock the arm assembly by sliding the lock lever to the unlock position.

2. Slide the arm assembly on the wall plate as needed.

3. Slide the lock lever to the lock position.

Enrosque manualmente los tornillos en los encastres roscados del dorso del televisor a fin de determinar qué diámetro de tornillos (M6 o M8) utilizar.

PRECAUCIÓN: Verifique que el tornillo o la combinación de tornillo y separador enrosquen correctamente. Si el tornillo es demasiado corto no sostendrá el

Si el dorso del televisor es plano Y usted desea que el televisor quede más cerca de la pared, utilice los tornillos cortos (a).

Utilice los separadores y los tornillos largos (b) para: televisores con dorso irregular o redondeado, televisores con orificios de montaje intercalados o en el caso

de necesitar un espacio adicional para cables.

1-3 Acople las placas de sujeción verticales del televisor

Alinee las placas de sujeción verticales del televisor

sobre el patrón de orificios del televisor, y fíjelas usando su selección de tornillo/arandela (a) o

3. Fije la placa de sujeción horizontal

a las placas de sujeción verticales

PASO 2A

Opción para montantes de madera

ESPAÑOL

PRECAUCIÓN: Evite lesiones y daños materiales.

● El yeso que recubre la pared no debe exceder los 16 mm (5/8")

● Tamaño mínimo del montante de madera: común 51 mm x 102 mm (2" x 4") nominal 38 mm x 89 mm (1½ " x 3½ ")

● Espacio horizontal mínimo entre los elementos de sujeción: 406 mm (16")

● Los centros de los montantes deben verificarse, ya que no todas las paredes tienen el espaciado convencional de 406 mm (16") o 610 mm (24")

1. Busque un clavo/tornillo en los montantes con ayuda del detector de montantes magnético Sanus

suministrado.

2. Busque los bordes de los montantes utilizando la punta del detector de montantes

5. Realice los orificios guía con una mecha de 5,5 mm (7/32") de diámetro.

IMPORTANTE: Los orificios guía deben realizarse hasta una profundidad de 75 mm (3").

6. Instale parcialmente los dos tornillos tirafondo superiores

dejando aproximadamente 13 mm (1/2") de espacio desde la pared.

NOTA: Este espacio le permite retirar la plantilla

y colgar la placa mural

en los tornillos tirafondo superiores

7. Retire la plantilla de la placa mural

8. Para preparar la placa mural

para su instalación, deslice las cubiertas de la placa mural hacia arriba y hacia abajo, según corresponda, de manera

que los orificios de la placa mural queden a la vista.

9. Cuelgue la placa mural

en los tornillos tirafondo superiores. Instale los dos tornillos tirafondo inferiores

. Ajuste los cuatro tornillos tirafondo

solamente hasta que queden firmes contra la placa mural

NOTA: Sostenga la placa mural

en su lugar mientras ajusta el primer tornillo

para evitar que la placa mural se mueva de su sitio.

PRECAUCIÓN: El uso indebido podría reducir la capacidad de retención de los tornillos tirafondo

● Instale la placa mural

directamente sobre la superficie de hormigón.

● Espesor mínimo del hormigón: 203 mm (8")

● Tamaño mínimo del bloque de cemento: 203 mm x 203 mm x 406 mm (8" x 8" x 16")

● Espacio horizontal mínimo entre los elementos de sujeción: 610 mm (24")

1. Coloque la plantilla de la placa mural

en la pared a la altura que desee. Nivele la plantilla de la placa mural y marque la ubicación de los orificios.

2. Realice cuatro orificios guía con una mecha de 10 mm (3/8") de diámetro.

3. Retire la plantilla de la placa mural

e introduzca cuatro anclajes

PRECAUCIÓN: Cerciórese de que los anclajes

4. Instale parcialmente los dos tornillos tirafondo superiores

, dejando aproximadamente 13 mm (1/2") de espacio desde la pared.

NOTA: Este espacio le permite colgar la placa mural

en los tornillos tirafondo superiores

5. Para preparar la placa mural

para su instalación, deslice las cubiertas de la placa mural hacia arriba y hacia abajo, según corresponda, de manera que

los orificios de la placa mural queden a la vista.

6. Cuelgue la placa mural

en los tornillos tirafondo superiores. Instale los dos tornillos tirafondo inferiores

. Ajuste los cuatro tornillos tirafondo

solamente hasta que queden firmes contra la placa mural

NOTA: Sostenga la placa mural

en su lugar mientras ajusta el primer tornillo

para evitar que la placa mural se mueva de su sitio.

PRECAUCIÓN: El uso indebido podría reducir la capacidad de retención de los tornillos tirafondo

. NO ajuste en exceso los tornillos tirafondo.

PASO 3 Instalar el televisor en la placa mural

NOTA: Utilice dos personas para este procedimiento, o retire el televisor antes de comenzar.

1. Desbloquee el módulo del brazo deslizando la palanca de bloqueo a la posición "desbloqueado".

2. Deslice el módulo del brazo sobre la placa mural según sea necesario.

3. Vuelva a colocar la palanca de bloqueo en la posición de bloqueo.
