This manual contains Safety Instructions, Installation and Operating Instructions, and Troubleshooting Tips. Please
carefully read this manual before using your refrigerator for instructions on how to use and maintain the product
properly. Be sure to follow the safety instructions to avoid injury or damage to the product.
Keep this manual. When passing on/selling the device to a third party, the manual must be handed over along
with the device.
Before calling for service, please make sure unit is installed and being used correctly, and read the troubleshooting
section.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury follow these basic precautions when using your
refrigerator.
NOTE: Specifications may change at any time without notice.
1. This appliance is for household use only. It is not intended for commercial applications.
2. The appliance is intended for indoor use only. DO NOT use outdoors.

CAUTION: The power cord is equipped with a 3-prong grounding plug to protect against shock hazards.
ALWAYS plug the cord into a properly installed and grounded 3-prong wall receptacle. Refer to the
manufacturers rating label for electrical and other technical data specific to this unit.
4.
CAUTION: Before using, verify that the outlet is a properly installed and grounded 120V-60Hz outlet.
5. DO NOT modify or cut the power cord.
6. DO NOT operate any appliance that has a damaged cord or plug; or if the unit is damaged or malfunctions
in any way. Contact customer service or a service technician.
7. DO NOT unplug your appliance by pulling on the power cord. ALWAYS grasp the plug firmly and pull it
straight out from the outlet.

WARNING: Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of
obstructions.

WARNING: DO NOT use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other
than those recommended by the manufacturer.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of a leak, take care not to damage the refrigerant tubing when moving or
handling the refrigerator.

WARNING: DO NOT use any electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the
refrigerator, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.

DANGER: NEVER allow children to play with, operate, or crawl inside the refrigerator due to risk of child
entrapment when disposing of refrigerator:
• Take off the doors
• Leave the shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside.
13. ALWAYS turn off and remove the plug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning or performing
maintenance.
14. This appliance can be used by children 8 years old and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not
play with, on, or in the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.

15. DO NOT attempt to service any part of the cooling system. Contact a service technician if repairs are
needed.
16. ALWAYS dispose the refrigerator according to local regulations as the unit contains flammable gas refrigerant.
All refrigeration products contain refrigerants, which under the guidelines of federal law must be removed
before disposal. It is the consumer’s responsibility to comply with federal and local regulations when
disposing of this product.
17. DO NOT store or use gasoline or any inflammable materials inside or in the vicinity of refrigerator.
18. NEVER clean refrigerator parts with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
19. DO NOT use an extension cord with this appliance. If the power cord is too short, have a qualified
electrician install an outlet near the appliance. Use of an extension can negatively affect the unit’s
performance.
CAUTION: It is hazardous for anyone other than authorized service personnel to carry out services or repairs
involving the removal of covers.
CAUTION: To avoid the risk of an electrical shock, DO NOT attempt repairs.

BEFORE USE
Remove the exterior and interior packing. Before connecting the refrigerator to the power source, let it stand
upright for approximately 4 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from
improper handling during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
• This appliance is designed to be free standing only, and should not be recessed or built-in. Allow 5 inches of
space between the back and sides of the refrigerator, which allows the proper air ventilation.
• Place your refrigerator on a floor that is strong enough to support the refrigerator when it is fully loaded
and adjust the feet to keep the refrigerator level.
• DO NOT install the refrigerator in direct sunlight or near any sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.).
Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption.
• Ambient temperature below 50°F (10°C) or above 109°F (43°C) will hinder the performance of this appliance.
This unit is not designed for use in a garage or any other outside installation where it will be exposed to
outdoor temperatures and humidity.
• Avoid locating the refrigerator in moist areas.
• This unit is not designed to be installed in an RV or any mobile location, or used with an inverter.
• Plug the refrigerator into dedicated, properly installed-grounded wall outlet. DO NOT under any
circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any questions concerning
power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician or an authorized service center.
• The power cord should be secured behind the refrigerator and not left exposed or dangling to prevent
accidental injury.
• After plugging the appliance into a wall outlet, turn the unit on and allow the unit to cool down for 2~3
hours under before placing food in the refrigerator or freezer compartment.
NOTE: It is not recommended to install the refrigerator where the temperature will drop below 50°F (10°C) or
rise above 110°F (43°C). The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the refrigerator.
If the refrigerator is installed in a location where the temperature will drop below 50°F, set the freezer to the
coldest setting, as this may improve the operation of the unit under those conditions.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
The temperature control for the refrigerator is located on the
outside of the unit on the door. When first turned on, the
unit will start running with a default set temperature of 38°F
(3°C) in the refrigerator section and -8°F (-22°C) in the freezer
section. It is recommended to adjust the temperature in the
refrigerator compartment to 34°F (1°C) and let it run for at
least 5 hours before placing food inside. This ensures that the
freezer compartment is thoroughly chilled and the refrigerator
compartment temperature will be stabilized for any food added
to it. After allowing it to run for 4 hours, use the temperature
control to set the setting you desire.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
To adjust the temperature in each zone, press the Temp Zone
button until the zone you want to adjust is flashing on and
off at the top of the display. Press the Temp button to change
the temperature in the selected zone. Each time the button is
pushed, the temperature will change 1°F.
• Refrigerator Temperature Range: 34°F to 43°F (1°C to 6°C)
The refrigerator compartment tempterature adjusts as
following in detail (°F):
34 » 35 » 36 » 37 » 38 » 39 » 40 » 41 » 42 » 43 » Off
• Freezer Temperature Range: -8°F to 3°F (-22°C to -16°C)
NOTE: If the unit is unplugged, has lost power, or is turned
off, you must wait for 3 to 5 minutes before restarting the unit.
If you attempt to restart before this time delay, the unit will
not start.
ADJUSTING THE CRISPER TEMPERATURE
To adjust the temperature in the crisper, move the temperature
control (located at the back of the unit just above the crisper)
left to right. It can be set from MIN to MAX, with MAX being
the coldest.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
FAST FREEZE MODE
• The Fast Freeze mode will set the freezer temperature to -26°F (-32°C) for a quick drop in temperature when
storing large amounts of warm or room temperature foods in the freezer. The unit will remain in FAST
FREEZE mode until the temperature reaches -26°F (-32°C) and will then return to the original temperature
setting or until the function is turned off at the control panel.

To turn on mode, press the “FUNCTION” button until the mode icon is flashing, then SABBATH SABBATH

CLEANING YOUR REFRIGERATOR
• Turn off the refrigerator and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
• Remove all food contents.
• Wash the inside of the unit with a damp, warm cloth soaked in lukewarm water and a baking soda solution
of about 2 tablespoons baking soda to a quart of water.
• Be sure to keep the door gasket (seal) clean to keep the unit running efficiently.
• The outside of the unit should be cleaned with a mild detergent and warm water.
• Dry the interior and exterior with a soft cloth.
VACATION TIME
For absences of less than 3 weeks, the refrigerator can be left running normally. For longer periods, but not more
than a few months, clean the unit and set it in VACATION MODE (Refrigerator contents must be removed).
For longer periods:
• Turn off the refrigerator and unplug the unit form the wall outlet.
• Remove all the food contents.
• Clean the interior of the unit.
• Leave the door open slightly to avoid possible formation of condensation, mold, or odors.
• Use caution to make sure that the unit is not accessible for children to play with or in.
MOVING YOUR REFRIGERATOR
• Turn off the refrigerator and unplug the unit form the wall outlet.
• Remove all food contents.
• Securely tape down all loose items inside the refrigerator.
• Tape the doors shut.
• Be sure the unit stays in the upright position during transportation.
ENERGY SAVING TIPS
• The refrigerator should be located in the coolest area of the room, way from heat producing appliances or
heating ducts and out of direct sunlight.
• Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing in the refrigerator. Overloading the unit forces the
compressor to run longer. Foods that freeze too slowly may lose quality or spoil.
• Be sure to wrap foods properly and wipe containers dry before placing them in the refrigerator to reduce
frost build-up and moisture.
• Organize and label food to reduce door openings and extended searches. Remove as many items as needed
at one time, and close the door as quickly as possible.

TROUBLESHOOTING
You can solve many common refrigerator problems easily, saving the you cost of a possible service call. Try the
suggestions below to see if you can solve the problem before calling for service.

It is normal to hear the refrigerant gurgling at the end of a cooling cycle.
Contraction and expansion of the inside walls of the unit may cause a crackling or popping noise.
Check to make sure the unit is level. Use the leveling legs to adjust as needed.
The door(s)

LIMITED WARRANTY
MC Appliance Corporation warrants each new Refrigerator to be free from defects in material and workmanship, and agrees to
remedy any such defect or to furnish a new part(s), at the company’s option, for any part(s) of the unit that have failed during
the warranty period. Parts and labor expenses are covered on this unit for a period of one year from the date of purchase. A
copy of the dated sales receipt or invoice is required to receive warranty service by an authorized service agent.
In addition, MC Appliance Corporation warrants the compressor (parts only) to be free from defects in material and workman-
ship for a period of five years. The consumer is responsible for all labor and transportation expenses related to the diagnosis
and replacement of the compressor after the initial one-year warranty has expired. In the event the unit requires replacement
or refund under the terms of this warranty, the consumer is responsible for all transportation expenses to return the unit to
our factory prior to receiving a replacement unit or refund. A copy of the dated sales receipt/invoice is required to receive
warranty service.
This warranty covers appliances in use within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. This warranty does
not cover the following:
• Damages due to shipping damage or improper installation or electrical connections.
• Damages due to misuse or abuse.
• Content losses due to failure of the unit.
• Inside components such as door panels, door shelves, racks, light bulbs, etc.
• Punctures to the evaporator system due to improper defrosting of the unit.
• Repairs performed by unauthorized service agents.
• Service calls that do not involve defects in material and workmanship such as instructions on proper use of the
product and door reversal or improper installation.
• Replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
• Failure of this product if used for other purposes than its intended purpose.
• Disposal costs for failed unit not returned to our factory.
• Any delivery/installation costs incurred as the result of a unit that fails to perform as specified.
• Expenses for travel and transportation for product service if your appliance is located in a remote area where service
by an authorized service technician is not available.
• The removal and reinstallation of your appliance if it is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed in
accordance with published installation instructions.
• Refunds for non-repairable products are limited to the price paid for the unit per the sales receipt.
Limitations of Remedies and Exclusions:
Product repair in accordance with the terms herein, is your sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty. Any and all
implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby limited to one year or the shortest
period allowed by law. MC Appliance Corporation is not liable for incidental or consequential damages and no representative or
person is authorized to assume for us any other liability in connection with the sale of this product. Under no circumstances is
the consumer permitted to return this unit to the factory without the prior written consent of MC Appliance Corporation.
Some states prohibit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on implied warranties.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

mantenimiento adecuadamente. Asegúrate de seguir las instrucciones de seguridad para evitar lesiones
personales o daños al producto.
Conserva este manual. Al transferir o vender a un tercero este equipo, junto con él tiene que entregarse el manual.
Antes de solicitar servicio, asegúrate de que la unidad está instalada y viene usándose correctamente. Así mismo
lee la sección de solución de problemas.
ADVERTENCIA: Para disminuir los riesgos de incendio, descarga eléctrica o lesiones hay que tomar estas
precauciones básicas durante el uso del refrigerador.

ANTES DE USAR
Remover el empaque interior y exterior. Antes de conectar el refrigerador a la fuente de corriente hay que dejarlo
en posición vertical por unas 4 horas. Así se reducirá la posibilidad de disfunción en el sistema de enfriamiento
por manipulación inapropiada durante la transportación.
Limpiar la superficie interior con agua tibia y un paño suave.
INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
• Este electrodoméstico está diseñado para instalación independiente y no debe instalarse empotrado ni
integrado.
• Dejar 5 pulgadas (12.7 cm) de espacio entre la parte posterior y los laterales del refrigerador para permitir la
adecuada ventilación.
• Colocar el refrigerador sobre un piso suficientemente resistente para soportarlo cuando esté
completamente lleno y ajustar las patas para mantenerlo nivelado.
• NO instalar el refrigerador a la luz solar directa ni cerca de ninguna fuente de calor (estufa, calentador,
radiador, etc.).
• La luz solar directa puede afectar el revestimiento acrílico y las fuentes de calor pueden incrementar el
consumo de electricidad.
• La temperatura ambiente por debajo de 50°F (10°C) o por encima de 85°F (29°C) entorpecerá el rendimiento
de este electrodoméstico. Esta unidad no está diseñada para usar en garaje ni en ningún otro local expuesto
a la humedad y temperaturas exteriores.
• Evitar que el refrigerador se ubique en áreas húmedas.
• Esta unidad no está concebida para instalarse en vehículo recreativo ni en otro emplazamiento móvil ni para
usarse con un inversor de corriente.
• Enchufar el refrigerador en tomacorrientes apto para él y adecuadamente instalado con conexión a
tierra. NO cortar ni retirar del cordón eléctrico, bajo ninguna circunstancia, la tercera espiga (conexión a
tierra). Cualquier pregunta sobre el suministro de electricidad y/o conexión a tierra debe formularse a un
electricista calificado o a un centro de servicios autorizado.
• El cordón eléctrico debe asegurarse detrás del refrigerador y no dejarse expuesto ni colgando, a fin de
prevenir lesiones por accidente.
• Luego de enchufar el electrodoméstico en un tomacorrientes de pared hay que encender la unidad y dejar
que se enfríe por 2~3 horas antes de colocar alimentos en los compartimientos del refrigerador o del
congelador.
NOTA: No es recomendable instalar el refrigerador donde la temperatura descienda por debajo de 50°F
(10°C) o suba por encima de 110°F (43°C). Allí, el compresor no podrá mantener temperaturas apropiadas dentro
del refrigerador. Si el refrigerador se instala en lugar donde la temperatura descenderá por debajo de 50°F, el
congelador se pone en la configuración más fría, ya que así pudiera mejorarse la operación de la unidad bajo esas
condiciones.

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
El control de temperatura del refrigerador está en el exterior
de la puerta. Al encenderse por primera vez, la unidad arrancará
con temperatura predeterminada de 38°F (3°C) en la sección
del refrigerador y -8°F (-22°C) en la sección del congelador. Se
recomienda ajustar la temperatura en el compartimiento del
refrigerador a 34°F (1°C) y dejarlo funcionando por al menos 5
horas antes de colocar alimentos dentro. Así se garantiza que el
compartimento del congelador quede bien frío por completo y que
la temperatura de aquel compartimiento se estabilice para cualquier
alimento que se agregue. A las 4 horas de estar funcionando usar el
control de temperatura para configurar la deseada.
CÓMO CONFIGURAR LA TEMPERATURA
Para ajustar la temperatura en cada zona, presionar el botón
correspondiente (Temp Zone) hasta que la zona del ajuste deseado
esté parpadeando en la parte superior de la pantalla. Presionar el
botón Temp para cambiar la temperatura en la zona seleccionada.
Cada vez que se presione el botón, la temperatura cambiará 1°F.
• Rango de temperatura del refrigerador: OFF hasta 43°F (6°C)
La temperatura en el compartimento de refrigeración se
ajusta a las temperaturas siguientes:
1.1 >> 1.6 >> 2.2 >> 2.7 >> 3.3 >> 3.8 >> 4.4 >> 5.0 >> 5.5 >> 6.1 >> Off
• Rango de temperatura en el congelador: -8°F a -3°F (-22°C a -19°C)
NOTA: Si la unidad no está conectada, ha perdido potencia
o está apagada, tienen que esperarse de 3 a 5 minutos antes de
volver a arrancarla. De intentarse reiniciar antes de este plazo de
espera, no arrancará.
CÓMO AJUSTAR LA TEMPERATURA DEL CAJÓN PARA FRUTAS Y VEGETALES
Para ajustar la temperatura del cajón para frutas y vegetales, cambia del control de temperatura (ubicado en
la parte posterior de la unidad, justo encima del cajón para frutas y vegetales) de izquierda a derecha� Puede
configurarse de MIN a MAX en orden ascendente de frío.

MODO DE CONGELACIÓN RÁPIDA
• El modo de congelación rápida fija la temperatura del congelador en -26°F (-32°C) para un rápido descenso al
almacenar en él grandes cantidades de alimentos a temperatura ambiente o cálida. La unidad permanecerá
en el modo de congelación rápida hasta alcanzar -26°F (-32°C) y entonces retornará a la temperatura original
fijada, a menos que se desactive la función en el panel de control.

• Para activar el modo de congelación rápida hay que presionar el botón “Function” hasta que parpadee el
ícono correspondiente al modo. Seguidamente se presiona el botón “OK” para activar. El ícono permanecerá
encendido hasta que la unidad esté en el modo de congelación rápida.
• Para desactivar el modo de congelación rápida hay que presionar el botón “Function” hasta que parpadee el
ícono correspondiente al modo. Seguidamente se presiona el botón “OK” para desactivar. El ícono se apagará.
MODO DE VACACIONES
• El modo de vacaciones se utiliza al dejar de usar por largos períodos. Se retiran los contenidos de la sección
del refrigerador, pero se dejan los artículos congelados en la sección correspondiente. Mientras esté en
modo de vacaciones, la sección del refrigerador se pondrá automáticamente en 57°F (14°C) y la sección del
congelador permanecerá en la temperatura prefijada. �
• El refrigerador permanecerá en ese modo hasta que este se desactive manualmente en el panel de control.
• Para activar el modo de vacaciones hay que presionar el botón “Function” hasta que parpadee el ícono
correspondiente. Seguidamente se oprime el botón “OK” para activar. El ícono permanecerá encendido
mientras la unidad esté en ese modo.
• Para desactivar el modo de vacaciones hay que presionar el botón “Function” hasta que parpadee el ícono
correspondiente al modo. Seguidamente se presiona el botón “OK” para desactivar. El ícono se apagará.
MODO (AUTOMÁTICO) INTELIGENTE
• Al usar el modo automático inteligente, la unidad se pondrá a una temperatura promedio de
funcionamiento de 38°F (3°C) en el refrigerador y -2°F (-19°C) en el congelador.
• Para desactivar el modo inteligente hay que presionar el botón “Function” hasta que parpadee el ícono
correspondiente al modo. Seguidamente se presiona el botón “OK” para activar. El ícono permanecerá
encendido mientras la unidad esté en ese modo.
• Para desactivar el modo inteligente hay que presionar el botón “Function” hasta que parpadee el ícono
correspondiente al modo. Seguidamente se presiona el botón “OK” para desactivar. El ícono se apagará.�
Una vez que el modo inteligente quede desactivado, se fija la temperatura deseada.
MODO SABBAT
• El modo sabático es para quienes observan prácticas religiosas que exigen apagar las luces. Todas las luces
interiores y del panel de control se apagarán mientras dure este modo.
• Para activar el modo sabático hay que presionar el botón “Function” hasta que parpadee el ícono
correspondiente al modo. Seguidamente se presiona el botón “OK” para activar. las luces interiores y del
panel de control se apagarán y permanecerán así hasta que el modo sea desactivado.
• Para desactivar el modo sabático hay que presionar el botón “Function” por unos 5 segundos hasta que
se enciendan las luces del panel de control. Se procede entonces a liberar el botón. Presionar el botón
FUNCTION hasta que parpadee el ícono del modo y enseguida presionar el botón “OK” para desactivar. El
ícono se apagará y todas las luces e indicadores retornarán a su funcionamiento normal.
SEGURO PARA NIÑOS
• El panel de control puede bloquearse para prevenir cambios indeseados de temperatura. Para configurar
el dispositivo Child Lock (Seguro para Niños) hay que mantener presionado el botón OK por 3 segundos. El
ícono Child Lock se encenderá y el panel de control quedará bloqueado.
• Para desbloquear el dispositivo de seguro para niños hay que mantener presionado por 3 segundos el botón
OK. El ícono Child Lock se apagará y el panel de control quedará desbloqueado.

EN ESPERA
• El panel de control pasará al modo de espera y todas las luces se apagarán después de 5 minutos de
inactividad.
• Cuando la unidad este en modo de espera, la función de Child Lock estará activada. Para reactivar el panel
de control, presione cualquiera de los botones siguientes: “Temp.Zone, temp., function o OK. Después
presione fijamente el botón de OK por 3 segundos para desbloquear el panel de control.

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO
CÓMO LIMPIAR EL REFRIGERADOR
• Apagar el refrigerador y sacar el enchufe del tomacorrientes de la pared.
• Retira todo el contenido de alimentos.
• Lavar la unidad por dentro con un paño empapado en agua tibia y una solución de bicarbonato de sodio de
2 cucharadas por cuarto de agua.
• Asegurar que la junta de la puerta (sello) permanezca limpia para que la unidad funcione con eficiencia.
• Por fuera la unidad debe limpiarse con detergente suave y agua tibia.
• Secar el interior y el exterior con un paño suave.
TIEMPO DE VACACIONES
Para ausencias por menos de 3 semanas, el refrigerador puede dejarse funcionando normalmente. Por períodos
más largos, hasta de unos cuantos meses, la unidad se limpia y se activa el modo de vacaciones (Tienen que
retirarse los contenidos del refrigerador).
Para períodos más largos:
• Apagar el refrigerador y sacar el enchufe del tomacorrientes de la pared.
• Retirar todos los contenidos de alimentos.
• Limpiar el interior de la unidad.
• Dejar la puerta ligeramente abierta para evitar la posible formación de condensación, moho o malos olores.
• Proceder con precaución para asegurar que los niños no tengan acceso a la unidad para jugar con o dentro
de ella.
CÓMO TRASLADAR EL REFRIGERADOR
• Apagar el refrigerador y sacar el enchufe del tomacorrientes de la pared.
• Retirar todo el contenido de alimentos.
• Fijar con cinta adhesiva todos los artículos sueltos dentro del refrigerador.
• Aplicar cinta adhesiva al cierre de las puertas.
• Asegurar que la unidad permanezca en posición vertical durante la transportación.
CONSEJOS PARA EL AHORRO DE ENERGÍA
• El refrigerador debe ubicarse en el área más fría de la habitación, lejos de los equipos que producen y de los
conductos que transfieren calor, así como de la luz solar directa.
• Dejar que los alimentos calientes se enfríen a la temperatura ambiente antes de colocarlos en el
refrigerador. Sobrecargar la unidad fuerza a que el compresor funcione por más tiempo.Los alimentos que
se congelan muy despacio pudieran perder su calidad o descomponerse.
• Asegurar que los alimentos se envuelvan bien y los contenedores estén secos antes de colocarlos en el
refrigerador para reducir la acumulación de escarcha y humedad.
• Organizar y etiquetar los alimentos para no tener que abrir tantas veces la puerta ni demorar mucho en
buscarlos. Retirar a la vez tantos artículos como sean necesarios y cerrar la puerta tan pronto como sea
posible.

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
Puedes resolver con facilidad muchos problemas comunes del refrigerador y ahorrarte así el costo de una posible
llamada de servicio. Probar con las sugerencias más abajo para ver si puedes resolver el problema antes de llamar
al servicio.

GARANTÍA LIMITADA
MC Appliance Corporation garantiza que cada refrigerador nuevo estará libre de defectos de fabricación y de materiales, y con-
viene en remediar tales defectos o suministrar parte(s) nueva(s), a elección de la compañía, para reponer aquellas de la unidad
con fallas dentro del plazo de garantía. Los gastos en piezas y mano de obra se cubren para este unidad por el plazo de un año
a partir de la fecha de compra. Se exige una copia fechada del recibo de compraventa o factura para que un agente de servicio
autorizado preste el servicio de garantía.
Además, MC Appliance Corporation garantiza que el compresor (tan sólo sus piezas) estarán libres de defectos de fabricación y
de materiales por un plazo de cinco años. El consumidor es responsable por todos los gastos de mano de obra y transportación
relacionados con el diagnóstico y la reposición del compresor luego de expirar la garantía inicial de un año. En caso de que la
unidad requiera reposición o reembolso al amparo de los términos de esta garantía, el consumidor es responsable de todos
los gastos de transportación para devolver la unidad a nuestra fábrica antes de recibir otra de reposición o el reembolso
correspondiente. Se exige una copia fechada del recibo de compraventa o factura para prestar este servicio de garantía.
Esta garantía cubre los electrodomésticos en uso dentro del territorio continental de EE. UU., Alaska, Hawái y Puerto Rico.
Esta garantía no cubre lo siguiente:
• Daños debidos a envío, mala instalación o conexiones eléctricas incorrectas.
• Daños por mal uso o abuso.
• Pérdidas de contenido debido a falla de la unidad.
• Componentes internos como paneles y repisas de la puerta, rejillas, bombillas y otros.
• Perforaciones en el sistema de evaporación debido a descongelación incorrecta de la unidad.
• Reparaciones efectuadas por agentes de servicio no autorizados.
• Las solicitudes de servicio que no impliquen defectos de fabricación ni de materiales, tales como instrucciones sobre
el uso apropiado del producto, colocación inversa de las puertas o instalación incorrecta.
• Reposición o restablecimiento de fusibles o cortacircuitos del hogar.
• Fallas del producto al usarse para propósitos diferentes a los concebidos.
• Costos para disponer del producto por fallas de la unidad sin devolverla a la fábrica.
• Cualquier costo de instalación o entrega en que se incurra como resultado de una unidad que no funciona como se
especificó.
• Gastos de viaje y transportación en la prestación del servicio si el producto está localizado en área remota sin
técnico autorizado disponible.
• El retiro y reinstalación del electrodoméstico si se instala en lugar inaccesible o en discordancia con las instrucciones
publicadas.
• Los reembolsos de productos no reparables están limitados al precio pagado por la unidad según conste en el recibo
de compraventa.
Limitaciones de recursos legales y exclusiones:
La reparación del producto de acuerdo con los términos aquí establecidos es el único y exclusivo recurso legal al amparo de esta ga-
rantía limitada. Todas y cada una de las garantías implícitas, incluso de comercialización e idoneidad para determinado propósito, se
limitan por este medio a un año o al plazo más corto autorizado por la ley. MC Appliance Corporation no es responsable por daños
incidentales o consecuentes, y ningún representante u otra persona está autorizada para asumir en nuestro nombre cualquier otra
responsabilidad en conexión con la compraventa de este producto. Bajo ninguna circunstancia se permite al consumidor devolver
esta unidad a la fábrica sin el previo consentimiento por escrito de MC Appliance Corporation.
