Main Displays and Possible Operations

Possible operations are indicated.
The following are the main displays that appear during
UP/DOWN/RIGHT/LEFT and MULTI KNOB operation. Each
display indicates the operations that are currently available.
You can select the next or the previous track
on a CD or iPod by pressing the RIGHT/LEFT.
You can select a setting option, etc. by
pressing the UP/DOWN/RIGHT/LEFT or
UP/DOWN.
You can select a setting option, etc. by
pressing the center of the MULTI KNOB.
You can select the next or the previous track or select a
folder on a CD , in a USB memory or Bluetooth audio
player by pressing the UP/DOWN/RIGHT/LEFT.
You can tune or seek a radio frequency by
pressing the UP/DOWN/RIGHT/LEFT.
You can tune the Satellite Radio broadcasting
frequency or display and switch the category
by pressing the UP/DOWN/RIGHT/LEFT.
Turn the MULTI KNOB to the right or left to
adjust the volume level, select a menu or select
an item from a list. Press the MULTI KNOB in the
center to set a selecting an item.

Basic Operation
Your audio system works when the
ignition switch is in the “ACC” or
“ON” position.
NOTICE
To avoid draining the battery,
do not leave the car audio on
longer than necessary when the
engine is not running.
1 POWER
Press to turn the unit on or off.
2 MULTI KNOB/VOLUME
Turn the MULTI KNOB to raise/lower
the volume levels (total volume step
is 64). MULTI KNOB operation varies
depending on the audio source or
Menu. (Refer to page 7.)
To select the following setting
options, press the MULTI KNOB to
switch to the AUDIO MENU. Turn
the MULTI KNOB clockwise or coun-
terclockwise to select an item and
press the MULTI KNOB. You can
select SETTINGS in TUNER mode or
iPod mode.

EQ(equalizer)
EQ is a modified DSP (Digital Signal
Processing) system that provides a
customized sound for your vehicle.
Press the MULTI KNOB to display
the current EQ mode setting. While
the setting is displayed, press
repeatedly to switch to the following
modes.
MUSIC MODE:
A powerful, energetic, live
sound.
TALK MODE:
Natural and smooth sound
that gives no listening
fatigue but comfort.
AUDIO CTRL
When the MULTI KNOB is turned,
the setting item of the AUDIO CTRL
menu will switch in the following
order:

ASL (Automatic Sound Levelizer) ASR
(Advanced Sound Retriever)

FADER: Turn the MULTI KNOB to adjust the
sound balance between the rear and
front speakers.
The display ranges from R7 to F7.
BALANCE:
Turn the MULTI KNOB to adjust the
sound balance between the left and
right speakers. The display ranges
from L7 to R7.
BASS: Turn the MULTI KNOB to adjust low-
pitched tones. The display ranges from
–5 to 5.
TREBLE:
Turn the MULTI KNOB to adjust high-
pitched tones. The display ranges from
–5 to 5.
ASL: During driving, noise in the car changes
according to the driving speed. The
Automatic Sound Levelizer (ASL)
automatically adjusts the volume based
on driving speed. If this noise becomes
greater, the sensitivity (variation of
volume level to noise level) of ASL can
be set to one of three levels. Press the
MULTI KNOB changes the ASL setting
as follows:

ASR: The ASR (Advanced Sound Retriever)
function provides a wide, deep and
rich quality to MP3/WMA/AAC sound,
which gives the user a lively impression.
Pressing the MULTI KNOB repeatedly
switches the setting in the following
order:

Effective for low-compression
audio media.
HIGH RATE:
Effective for high-compression
audio media.

Using Hands-Free Phoning
1 CALL
Switches between telephone modes.
Pressing CALL while a phone number is
displayed initiates a call to the displayed
number. Pressing CALL when there is
an incoming call connects the caller.
When you connect the cellular phone
corresponding to the voice recognition
feature, if you press and hold until you
hear a beep, the voice recognition func-
tion is activated.
If you press CALL when dialing a call,
when a call is received or while talking
on the phone, the call is switched to a
hands-free telephone call with this unit.
If you press CALL while talking with this
unit, the telephone call is put on hold
(Hold is only provided for the mobile
phone connected to this unit).
If you press CALL while talking with
this unit, another incoming call can be
answered (Taking incoming calls while
talking on the mobile phone is only pro-
vided when connected with this unit).
If you press CALL again after receiving
an additional incoming call, the call is
switched back to the original caller.

• The emphasis function is valid only when
MP3 files of 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz
frequencies are played back. (16 kHz,

• There is no m3u playlist compatibility.

Terms
Packet write
This is a general term for a method
of writing on CD-R, etc. at the time
required for a file, just as is done
with files on floppy or hard discs.
Bit rate
This expresses data volume per
second, or bps (bits per second)
units. The higher the rate, the more
information is available to reproduce
the sound. Using the same encoding
method (such as MP3), the higher
the rate, the better the sound.
Multi-session
Multi-session is a recording method
that allows additional data to be
recorded later. When recording
data on a CD-ROM, CD-R or CD-
RW, etc., all data from beginning
to end is treated as a single unit or
session. Multi-session is a method
of recording more than 2 sessions in
one disc.
CD-DA
CD-DA is an abbreviation of
Compact Disc Digital Audio. It refers
to the uncompressed format of
regular CDs.
ID3 Tag
This is a method of embedding track-
related information in a MP3 file. This
embedded information can include
the track title, the artist’s name, the
album title, the music genre, the
year of production, comments and
other data. The contents can be
freely edited using software with ID3
Tag editing functions. Although the
tags are restricted to the number of
characters, the information can be
viewed when the track is played back.
ISO9660 format
This is the international standard for the
format logic of CD-ROM folders and
files. For the ISO9660 format, there are
regulations for the following two levels.
Level 1:
The file name is in 8.3 format (the
name consists of up to 8 characters,
half-byte English capital letters and
half-byte numerals and the “_ ”sign,
with a file-extension of three
characters).
Level 2:
The file name can have up to 31
characters (including the separation
mark

and a file extension).
Each folder contains less than 8
hierarchies.
Extended formats
Joliet:
File names can have up to 64 characters.
Romeo:
File names can have up to 128 characters.
m3u
Playlists created using the

MP3 is short for MPEG1 & 2 Audio
Layer 3. It is an audio compression
standard set by a working group
(MPEG) of the ISO (International
Standards Organization). MP3 is able
to compress audio data to about 1/10
the level of a conventional disc.
WMA
WMA is short for Windows Media
TM
Audio and refers to an audio
compression technology that is
developed by Microsoft Corporation.
WMA data can be encoded by using
Windows Media Player version 7 or
later.
AAC
AAC is short for Advanced Audio
Coding and refers to an audio
compression technology standard
used with MPEG2 and MPEG4.

CD player and care
• Use only CDs that have either of the
two Compact Disc Digital Audio marks
as shown below.
• Use only normal, round CDs. If you
insert irregular, non-round, shaped
CDs they may jam in the CD player or
not play properly.
• Check all CDs for cracks, scratches
or warping before playing. CDs that
have cracks, scratches or are warped
may not play properly. Do not use such
discs.
• Avoid touching the recorded
(non-printed) surface when handling
the disc.
• Store discs in their cases when not in
use.
• Keep discs out of direct sunlight and
do not expose the discs to high tem-
peratures.
• Do not attach labels, write on or apply
chemicals to the surface of the discs.
• To clean a CD, wipe the disc with a
soft cloth outward from the center.
• If the heater is used in cold weather,
moisture may form on components
inside the CD player. Condensation
may cause the CD player to malfunc-
tion. If you think that condensation is
a problem, turn off the CD player for
an hour or so to allow it to dry out and
wipe any damp discs with a soft cloth
to remove the moisture.
• Road shocks may interrupt CD play-
back.
• Never put a label, tape or scratches on
a disc. These will prevent the disc from
being played.
CD-R and CD-RW discs
• When CD-R/CD-RW discs are used,
playback is possible only for discs
which have been finalized.
• It may not be possible to play back CD-
R/CD-RW discs recorded on a music
CD recorder or a personal computer
because of disc characteristics, scratch-
es or dirt on the disc, or dirt, condensa-
tion, etc., on the lens of this unit.
• Playback of discs recorded on a per
-
sonal computer may not be possible,
depending on the application settings
and the environment. Please record
with the correct format. (For details,
contact the manufacturer of the appli-
cation.)
• Playback of CD-R/CD-RW discs may
become impossible in case of direct
exposure to sunlight, high tempera-
tures, or the storage conditions in the
car.
• Titles and other text information
recorded on a CD-R/CD-RW disc may
not be displayed by this unit (in the
case of audio data (CD-DA)).
• This unit conforms to the track skip
function of the CD-R/CD-RW disc. The
tracks containing the track skip infor-
mation are skipped automatically (in
case of audio data (CD-DA)).
• If you insert a CD-RW disc into this
unit, time to playback will be longer
than when you insert a conventional
CD or CD-R disc.
• Read the precautions accompanying
the CD-R/CD-RW discs before use.
• Recordings on CD-R/CD-RW can
not be played back using the DDCD
(Double Density CD) system.
• This unit will not play back SACD
(Super Audio CD).

DualDiscs
• DualDiscs are two-sided discs that
have a recordable CD for audio on one
side and a recordable DVD for video on
the other.
• Since the CD side of DualDiscs is not
physically compatible with the general
CD standard, it may not be possible to
play the CD side with this unit.
• Frequent loading and ejecting of a
DualDisc may result in scratches on
the disc. Serious scratches can lead
to playback problems on this unit. In
some cases, a DualDisc may become
stuck in the disc loading slot and will
not eject. To prevent this, we recom-
mend you refrain from using DualDisc
with this unit.
• Please refer to the information from
the disc manufacturer for more
detailed information about DualDiscs.

If the CD player does not work, the CD stops suddenly during playback, or a similar problem occurs, an error
indication will appear on the display. The cause of the trouble will be indicated by an error number, and you
should check the corresponding item shown in the table below.

When the disc is dirty or has been inserted upside-down.
Check the disc.
ERROR 3
There is probably an electrical or mechanical fault in the CD player.
Contact your TOYOTA dealer and ask for repair.
ERROR 4
This appears when there is excess current flow.

WAIT
This appears when the CD player does not work because its temperature is high.
Wait a short while until the vehicle temperature goes down.

Se indican las operaciones posibles.
Las siguientes son las pantallas principales que aparecen
durante ARRIBA/ABAJO/DERECHA/IZQUIERDA y la operación
del SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE. Cada pantalla indica las operaciones
que se encuentran disponibles en ese momento.
Puede seleccionar la pista siguiente o la
anterior de un CD o iPod presionando
DERECHA/IZQUIERDA.
Puede seleccionar una opción de ajuste, etc.,
presionando ARRIBA/ABAJO/DERECHA/
IZQUIERDA o ARRIBA/ABAJO.
Puede seleccionar una opción de ajuste, etc.,
presionando el centro del SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE.
Puede seleccionar la pista siguiente o la anterior o seleccionar una
carpeta de un CD, en una memoria USB o un reproductor de Audio
con Bluetooth presionando ARRIBA/ABAJO/DERECHA/IZQUIERDA.
Puede sintonizar o buscar una frecuencia de
radio presionando ARRIBA/ABAJO/DERECHA/
IZQUIERDA.
Puede sintonizar la frecuencia de transmisión de
Radio Satélite o pantalla y cambiar de categoría
presionando ARRIBA/ABAJO/DERECHA/IZQUIERDA.
Gire el SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE hacia la derecha o izquierda
para ajustar el nivel del volumen, seleccione un menú o un
elemento desde una lista. Presione el SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE
en el centro para ajustar la selección de un elemento.

Su sistema de audio funciona
cuando el interruptor de encendido
está en la posición “ACC” u “ON”.

Para evitar que la batería se gaste,
no deje el equipo de audio del
vehículo encendido durante más
tiempo que el necesario cuando
el motor esté parado.

EQ (ecualizador)
El EQ es un sistema DSP modificado
(Procesamiento de Señal Digital)
que proporciona un sonido persona-
lizado para su vehículo. Presione el
SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE para mostrar
el ajuste actual del modo del EQ.
Mientras que se muestra el ajuste,
presione de manera repetitiva para
acceder a los siguientes modos.
MUSIC MODE:
Un sonido poderoso,
enérgico y vivo.
TALK MODE:
Sonido natural y suave que
no produce fatiga auditiva
sino confort.
AUDIO CTRL
Cuando se activa el SELECTOR
MÚLTIPLE, el elemento de ajuste del
menú AUDIO CTRL cambiará en el
siguiente orden:

Gire el SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE para
ajustar el balance del sonido entre los
parlantes traseros y delanteros.
La pantalla varía de R7 a F7.
BALANCE:
Gire el SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE para
ajustar el balance del sonido entre los
parlantes derecho e izquierdo. La pan-
talla varía de L7 a R7.
BASS: Ajuste el SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE para
ajustar los tonos graves. La pantalla varía
de –5 a 5.
TREBLE:
Gire el SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE para
ajustar los tonos agudos. La pantalla varía
de –5 a 5.
ASL: Durante la conducción, el ruido en el
vehículo cambia de acuerdo con la
velocidad de la conducción. El Nivelador
Automático del Sonido (ASL) ajusta
automáticamente el volumen basándose
en la velocidad de la conducción. Si
el ruido se incrementa, la sensibilidad
(variación del nivel del volumen con el
nivel de ruido) del ASL puede ajustarse
de uno a tres niveles. Presione el
SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE que cambia el
ajuste ASL como lo siguiente:

ASR: La función del ASR (Advanced Sound
Retriever: recuperador de sonido
avanzado) ofrece una amplia, profunda
y rica calidad del sonido del MP3/
WMA/AAC, lo que le produce al usuario
un sensación de estar escuchando la
música en vivo y en directo. Si se pulsa el
SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE repetidamente el
ajuste cambia en el siguiente orden:

La función ASR sólo puede
ser seleccionada cuando se
reproduzca un MP3/WMA/
AAC desde un CD, un iPod,
un reproductor de audio USB
portátil/ memoria USB/Audio
Bluetooth.
La función ASR no da soporte a
un audio comprimido externo.
El cambio de los ajustes de ASR
no se encuentra disponible en
el modo de Audio Bluetooth
cuando no hay un dispositivo de
Bluetooth conectado o cuando los
ajustes no se pueden cambiar.
Los valores de las funciones
BASS y TREBLE pueden
ajustarse para cada uno de
los modos (AM, FM, CD/MP3/
WMA/AAC, iPod/reproductor
de audio portátil USB/

con Bluetooth y AUX). Cuando
cambia los modos, los ajustes

Si selecciona SETTINGS, puede ajus-

• AUDIO BOOK (en modo iPod)
Para seleccionar una opción de
ajuste en el modo iPod, gire el
SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE en sentido
horario o contrarreloj y presione el
SELECTOR MÚLTIPLE.
IPOD DIRECT AUDIO BOOK
HD ON/OFF:
Si ajusta el HD ON/OFF en ON, se
selecciona preferentemente la trans-
misión digital. Durante las operaciones
SCAN o SEEK, el sintonizador busca
todas las estaciones transmisoras
digitales y analógicas.
Si ajusta el HD ON/OFF en OFF, úni-
camente se selecciona la transmisión

sentido horario o contrarreloj para
seleccionar el canal deseado. La
transmisión comenzará al presionar-
lo. Si usted presiona y mantiene pre-
sionado hasta que escuche un tono
de aviso, la estación sintonizada en
ese momento es almacenada como
un canal predeterminado en la lista

Uso de telefonía de manos
libres
1 CALL
Cambia entre los modos del teléfono.
Presionar CALL mientras se muestra un
número de teléfono inicia una llamada
al número que se muestra. Presionar
CALL cuando hay una llamada entrante
conecta a la persona que llama.
Cuando conecta el teléfono móvil
correspondiente a la función de recono-
cimiento de voz, si presiona y sostiene
hasta que escucha un sonido de aviso,
se activa dicha función.
Si presiona CALL cuando marca una
llamada, cuando recibe una llamada o
mientras habla por teléfono, la llamada
cambia a manos libres con esta unidad.

Archivos MP3, WMA y
AAC
• MP3 es una abreviación para MPEG Audio
Layer 3 y se refiere a una tecnología de
compresión estándar.
• WMA es la abreviación para Windows
Media™ Audio y hace referencia a un
formato estándar de tecnología de com-
presión de audio que ha sido desarrollada
por Microsoft Corporation. Los datos
WMA pueden ser codificados utilizando un
Reproductor de Windows Media.
• AAC es una abreviación para Advanced
Audio Coding y se refiere a una tecnología
de compresión de audio estándar.
• Con algunas aplicaciones para codificar los
archivos de WMA, esta unidad puede que
no funcione correctamente.
• Con ciertas aplicaciones utilizadas para
codificar archivos WMA, los nombres de
álbumes y otra información de texto puede
no aparecer correctamente.
• Esta unidad permite la reproducción de
archivos MP3/WMA/AAC en discos CD-
ROM, CD-R, CD-RW y en un reproductor
de audio portátil USB /memoria USB. Se
podrán reproducir discos grabados com-
patibles con el nivel 1 y 2 de ISO9660 y
con el sistema de archivos de Romeo y
Joliet.
• Los archivos MP3/WMA/AAC no son com-
patibles con la transferencia de paquetes
de datos escritos.
• El número máximo de caracteres que
se puede visualizar para un nombre de
archivo, incluyendo la extensión (.mp3,
.wma, .m4a) es 24, desde el primer
carácter.

El número máximo de caracteres que se
puede visualizar para el nombre de carpeta
es 24.
• En caso de archivos grabados de acuerdo
con el sistema de archivos Romeo, sólo se
pueden visualizar los primeros 24 carac-
teres.
• La secuencia de la selección de la carpeta
para la reproducción y otras operaciones
es la secuencia de escritura usada por el
software de escritura. Por esta razón, la
secuencia esperada en la reproducción
puede que no coincida con la secuencia
real de la reproducción. Sin embargo,
hay también algún software escrito que
permite el ajuste del orden de la reproduc-

Cuando ponga los nombres a

añada la extensión del nom-
bre del archivo correspondi-

Esta unidad reproduce
archivos con extensiones de

un archivo MP3/WMA/AAC.
Para prevenir que se produzca
ruidos y malfuncionamientos,
no use estas extensiones para
otros archivos que no sean
archivos MP3/WMA/AAC.

• Archivos son compatibles con ID3 Tag Ver.
Los formatos 1.0, 1.1, 2.2, 2.3 y 2.4 para
visualizar el álbum (título de disco), canción
(título de la canción), artista (artista de la
canción) y comentarios. Versión 2.x de
la Etiqueta ID3 que da prioridad cuando
existan ambas versiones 1.x y 2.x.
• La función énfasis es válida sólo cuando se
reproducen archivos MP3 de frecuencias

Términos
Escritura por paquetes
Este es un término general para
describir el método de escritura de
un CD-R, etc. cuando se requiera
un archivo, tal como se realiza en
archivos, en disquetes o en discos
duros.
Bit rate
Esto expresa el volumen de datos
por segundo, o unidades bps (bits
por segundo). Cuanto mayor sea la
velocidad, habrá más información
disponible para reproducir el
sonido. Usando el mismo método
de codificación (por ejemplo MP3),
cuanto más alto sea el volumen por
segundo (bit rate), mejor será el
sonido.
Multisesión
La multisesión es un método de
grabación que permite grabar datos
adicionales más adelante. Cuando se
graban datos en un CD-ROM, CD-R
o CD-RW, etc., todos los datos de
principio a fin son tratados como una
única unidad o sesión. Multisesión
es un método de grabación de más
de 2 sesiones en un disco.
CD-DA
CD-DA es una abreviación para
Disco Compacto Digital de Audio
(Compact Disc Digital Audio). Se
refiere a un formato no comprimido
de CD normales.
ID3 Tag
Este es un método donde se inserta
la información relacionada con
la pista ó canción en un archivo
MP3. Esta información introducida
puede incluir un título de canción,
el nombre del artista, el título del
álbum, el genero de la música, el año
de producción, los comentarios y
otros datos. Los contenidos pueden
ser editados libremente utilizando
un software con funciones de
edición de etiquetas ID3. Aunque
las etiquetas están limitadas a un
número de caracteres, la información
puede ser vista cuando se reproduce
la canción.
Formato ISO9660
Esto es un estándar internacional para
el formato lógico de carpetas y archivos
de CD-ROM. Para el formato ISO9660,
existen regulaciones para los siguientes
dos niveles.
Nivel 1:
El nombre del archivo está en
formato 8.3 (el nombre consiste en
un número de hasta 8 caracteres,
letras mayúsculas de medio-byte y
numerales de medio-byte y el símbolo
“
_”, con un extensión de archivo de
tres caracteres).
Nivel 2:
El nombre del archivo puede tener
hasta 31 caracteres (incluyendo
un símbolo de separación “.” y
una extensión para el archivo).
Cada carpeta contiene menos de 8
jerarquías.
Formatos prolongados
Joliet:
Los nombres de los archivos pueden
tener hasta 64 caracteres.
Romeo:
Los nombres de los archivos pueden tener
hasta 128 caracteres.
m3u
Playlists creadas usando el software
“WINAMP” tienen una extensión
del archivo playlist (.m3u).
MP3
MP3 es la abreviación para MPEG1
y 2 Audio Layer 3. Es un estándar
de compresión de audio fijado por
el grupo de trabajo (MPEG) de la
ISO (Organización Internacional para
la Estandarización). El MP3 puede
comprimir datos de audio hasta cerca de
1/10 el nivel de un disco convencional.
WMA
WMA es la abreviación para
Windows Media
TM
Audio y hace
referencia a un formato estándar
de tecnología de compresión de
audio que ha sido desarrollada por
Microsoft Corporation. Los datos
WMA pueden ser codificados
utilizando un Reproductor de
Windows Media versión 7 o superior.
AAC
AAC es una abreviación de Advanced
Audio Coding (Codificación de Audio
Avanzada) y hace referencia a un
formato estándar de tecnología de
compresión de audio usada para
MPEG2 y MPEG4.

Reproductor de CD y
cuidado
• Sólo utilice CD que tengan alguna de
las dos marcas Compact Disc Digital
Audio como se muestra a contin-
uación.
• Sólo utilice CD normales y circulares.
Si inserta un CD irregular y que no sea
redondo podría obstruir el reproductor
de CD y reproducirse incorrectamente.
• Observe que los CD no tengan ray-
ones, rupturas o deformaciones al
reproducirlos. Los CD con rayones,
rupturas o en mal estado no se repro-
ducirán correctamente. No utilice dis-
cos en tales condiciones.
• Evite tocar la superficie de grabación
(no impresa) al sujetar el disco.
• Cuando no los utilice, guárdelos en sus
carátulas.
• Mantenga los discos alejados de la luz
directa del sol y no los exponga a altas
temperaturas.
• No incorpore etiquetas, ni escriba o
aplique químicos sobre la superficie
del disco.
• Para limpiar los CD, utilice un trapo
suave desde el centro hacia afuera.
• Si usa el calefactor en clima frío, se
puede formar humedad en los com-
ponentes internos del reproductor de
CD. La condensación puede afectar el
funcionamiento del CD. Si cree que la
condensación es un problema, apague
el reproductor de CD durante una hora
para que se seque y limpie cualquier
suciedad en el disco con un trapo
suave para remover la humedad.
• Los impactos en la carretera pueden
interrumpir la reproducción del CD.
• Nunca ponga una etiqueta, cinta o
marca sobre el disco. Esto evitará que
el disco se reproduzca normalmente.
Discos CD-R y CD-RW
• Cuando utilice discos CD-R/CD-RW,
sólo se puede reproducir los discos
que han sido finalizados.
• Es posible que no pueda reproducir
discos CD-R/CD-RW grabados en
una grabadora de CD de música o un
computador personal debido a las
características del disco, marcas o
suciedad del disco, condensación, etc.,
en los lentes de la unidad.
• Es posible que no se reproduzcan dis-
cos grabados en un computador per-
sonal, dependiendo de los ajustes de
la aplicación y el ambiente. Grabe los
discos con el formato correcto. (Para
obtener más detalles, comuníquese
con el fabricante de la aplicación).
• La reproducción de discos CD-R/CD-
RW puede no realizarse en caso de
exposición directa a la luz del sol, altas
temperaturas, o las condiciones de
almacenamiento en el vehículo.
• Los títulos y otra información de texto
grabada en un disco CD-R/CD-RW
podría no aparecer en la unidad (en
caso de datos de audio (CD-DA)).
• Esta unidad es compatible con la fun-
ción de salto de pistas del disco CD-
R/CD-RW. Las pistas que contienen
información de salto de pista se saltan
automáticamente (en caso de datos de
audio (CD-DA)).
• Si se inserta un disco CD-RW en la
unidad, el tiempo de reproducción será
superior que al insertar un disco de CD
o CD-R convencional.
• Lea las precauciones suministradas
con los discos CD-R/CD-RW antes de
usarlo.
• Las grabaciones en CD-R/CD-RW no
serán reproducidas usando el sistema
DDCD (CD de doble densidad).
• Esta unidad no reproducirá SACD
(Super Audio CD).

DualDiscs
• Dual Discs son discos de doble cara
que tienen un CD grabable para audio
en un lado y un DVD grabable para
video en la otra.
• Debido a que la cara CD del DualDiscs
no es físicamente compatible con el
CD estándar general, puede que no
sea posible reproducir el lado del CD
en esta unidad.
• La utilización y la expulsión frecuente
de un DualDisc podría ocasionarle ray-
ones al disco. Los rayones más serios
pueden derivar en problemas de repro-
ducción en esta unidad. En algunos
casos, un DualDisc puede atascarse en
la ranura de carga de discos y puede
que no sea expulsado. Para prevenir
esto, le recomendamos que no use
DualDiscs en esta unidad.
• Por favor, diríjase a la información del
fabricante de discos para obtener una
información más detallada sobre los
DualDiscs.

Indicaciones de error
Si el reproductor de CD no funciona, el CD se detiene repentinamente durante la reproducción, u ocurre otro
problema similar, aparecerá una indicación de error en la pantalla. La causa del problema será indicada median-
te un número de error, y usted deberá comprobar el elemento correspondiente que aparece indicado en la tabla
de abajo.
CD CHECK
Cuando el disco está sucio o ha sido insertado al revés.
Compruebe el disco.
ERROR 3
Existe probablemente un fallo eléctrico o mecánico en el reproductor de CD.
Póngase en contacto con su distribuidor de TOYOTA y solicite reparación.
ERROR 4
Esto aparece cuando hay un exceso de flujo de corriente.
Póngase en contacto con su distribuidor de TOYOTA y solicite reparación.
WAIT
Esto aparece cuando el reproductor de CDs no funciona debido a que su temperatura
es alta.
Espere un momento hasta que baje la temperatura del vehículo.
NO SUPPORT
Esto aparece cuando el formato del archivo MP3/WMA/AAC no es normal y no es
compatible con esta unidad como por ejemplo las grabaciones en formato WAV.
Por favor compruebe el formato de archivo del MP3/WMA/AAC.
