Line up the tab on the Mail Signal (2) with the slot on the door hinge
retaining ring and snap on. Snap Cover Cap (1) over the door hinge
retaining ring on opposite side. Illustration 1

To apply Yellow Decal (3) first make sure the area is clean and
free of dust. Peel off the backing from the yellow decal and
place on the preferred side of the mail signal. Fig. 2

ENSURE ITS CORRECT PLACEMENT AND HEIGHT FROM
THE STREET. GENERALLY, MAILBOXES ARE INSTALLED AT
A HEIGHT OF 41-45 INCHES FROM THE ROAD SURFACE TO
INSIDE FLOOR OF THE MAILBOX AND ARE SET BACK 6-8
INCHES FROM THE FRONT FACE OF CURB OR ROAD EDGE
TO THE MAILBOX DOOR.
ES NECESARIO QUE LOS USUARIOS DEL CORREO SE
COMUNIQUEN CON LA OFICINA DE CORREO LOCAL ANTES
DE INSTALAR EL BUZÓN PARA ASEGURAR SU CORRECTA

Yellow flag pops up to signal you when mail has arrived. Decide which side of the box your mail signal would best be seen from your house. Red flag alerts mailman to

The normal mail signal position is horizontal. As the door is opened, the tab is caught by the door and the signal is raised to the vertical positon. When you collect mail, close
the door and reset the signal by returning it to its horizontal position.
La posición normal de la señal de correo es horizontal. Cuando la puerta se abre, la lengüeta queda atrapada por la puerta y la señal se eleva a la posición vertical. Cuando
recolecte el correo, cierre la puerta y restablezca la señal regresándola a su posición horizontal.

Solar Group, Inc. warrants this mailbox product to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of ten years from the purchase date by the original purchaser.
This limited warranty does not include minor cosmetic blemishes caused by normal use,
environmental conditions which may cause coating, fading, chipping or damage caused by
others. Solar Group, Inc. shall not be liable under this or any implied warranty for incidental
or consequential damages. This warranty does not cover any mailbox which has been altered
or used for a purpose other than that for which it is intended, or manner inconsistent with
any instructions regarding its use or installation (e.g. enclosing with masonry). This warranty
shall be limited to repair or replacement of product or parts found to be defective under
normal use, as determined by Solar Group, Inc.
