dental procedures, you should consult your dental professional before

using this instrument or any other oral hygiene aid.

• Fill reservoir with warm water or other dental professional

recommended solutions only.

• Do not use iodine, saline (salt solution), or water insoluble concentrated

essential oils in this product. Use of these can reduce performance and

will shorten the life of the product.

• Only use tips and accessories that are recommended by Water Pik, Inc.

• If the Pik Pocket™ tip (not included in all models) separates from the

sha for any reason, discard tip and sha and replace with new Pik

Pocket™ tip.

• Do not drop or insert any foreign object into any opening on the product.

• Do not use this product outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray)

products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.

• Remove any oral jewelry prior to use of this product.

• Do not use if you have an open wound on your tongue or in your mouth.

• There are no consumer serviceable parts in this product and it does not

require maintenance.

Charging Unit Prior to First Use

Charge unit for 24 hours prior to rst use. Use only the USB charger provided. If a USB charager is not provided, a user supplied USB

charger with the following specications is required to charge this product: USB Type-A, Rated Output: 5.0 VDC, 1.0 A. Plug the

USB-charger into a wall outlet and connect the charging cord to the unit. Make sure you turn the unit OFF before charging. The unit will

not charge if the unit is ON. See “Cleaning and Troubleshooting Your Waterpik® Water Flosser” for guidance on how to look aer your

battery. The Waterpik® Water Flosser will stay charged for up to 2 weeks depending on use.

Filling the Reservoir

Unplug charging cord from unit prior to lling with water and during use. Li ip top on reservoir and ll the reservoir with

lukewarm water.

Inserting and Removing Tips

Insert tip into the center of the knob at the top of the Water Flosser handle. Press rmly until the tip clicks into place. To remove the tip

from the handle, press the tip eject button and pull tip from the handle.

CAUTION: Do not press tip eject button while unit is running.

Adjusting the Pressure Setting

You can adjust the pressure setting on your Water Flosser by simply changing tips.

Recommended Technique

Lean low over sink and place tip in mouth. Aim the tip toward gumline, and turn the unit ON.

For best results, start with the back teeth and work toward the front teeth. Glide tip along gumline and pause briey between teeth.

Continue until you have cleaned the inside and outside of both the upper and lower teeth.

Direct the jet stream at a 90-degree angle to your gumline. Slightly close lips to avoid splashing but allow water to ow freely from

mouth into the sink. Keep unit upright during use for best results.

When Finished

Turn the unit OFF. Empty any liquid le in the reservoir.

If desired, the reservoir may be removed from the power handle by simply pulling down on the reservoir to remove.

CLEANING AND TROUBLESHOOTING YOUR WATERPIK® WATER FLOSSER

Using Mouthwash and Other Solutions

Your Waterpik® Water Flosser can be used to deliver mouthwash and antibacterial solutions. For ease of adding other solutions remove

the reservoir (see “When Finished” section) and add from top opening on reservoir. If you are adding additional water you may replace

the reservoir and ll reservoir fully with the ll door. Aer using any special solution, rinse unit to prevent clogging by partially lling

reservoir with warm water and running unit with tip pointed into sink until unit is empty.

Cleaning

Never immerse unit in water. Before cleaning, unplug from the electrical outlet. Clean the product when necessary by using a so cloth

and mild non-abrasive cleanser to wipe exterior.

The water reservoir is removable for easy cleaning and is top rack dishwasher safe.

It is recommended that the reservoir is removed and cleaned weekly.

Removing Hard Water Deposits / General Cleaning

Hard water deposits may build up in your unit, depending on the mineral content of your water. If le unattended, it can hinder

performance. Cleaning internal parts: add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to a full reservoir of warm water. Point the handle and tip

into sink. Turn unit ON and run until reservoir is empty. Rinse by repeating with a full reservoir of clean warm water.

This process should be done every 1 to 3 months to ensure optimal performance.

Battery Care and Disposal

If the Water Flosser is to be stored for an extended period of time (six months or more), be sure to fully charge it prior to storage. The

unit contains a Nickel Metal Hydride battery. At the end of the battery life, please recycle the unit at your nearest recycle center per local

or state requirements. The battery is not replaceable.

BATTERY REMOVAL

Battery Removal

The product contains battery and/or recyclable electronic waste. In order to protect the environment, please do not dispose along with

household waste. When battery life ends, please dispose or recycle according to local administrative regulations. Please contact local

waste administrative department for any questions.

If you intend to dispose the battery on your own, for example, for WP-360 model, please follow below steps to remove the battery:

1. Power o the device, remove reservoir.

2. Remove jet tip control knob by prying up.

3. Remove 2 screws on bottom side of unit.

4. Push chassis out of housing by pressing unit down on at surface.

6. Cut these two wires.

7. Pry battery out of chassis. The removed battery should be disposed safely by special recycling center.

Warning: The battery of this product is not replaceable. Please do not disassemble the product unless you want to dispose it.

Otherwise the warranty service will be void.

For questions or problems please call the customer service center before returning the

product. Please do not send your unit to the Water Pik, Inc. address as this can cause

lengthy delays. Refer to the serial and model numbers in all correspondence. These

numbers are on the bottom of the unit behind the reservoir. Water Pik, Inc. warrants

to the original consumer of this new product that it is free from defects in materials

and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase. Consumer will be required to

submit the original purchase receipt as proof of purchase date and if requested,

the entire product, to support a warranty claim. Water Pik, Inc. will replace the

product provided the product has not been abused, misused, altered or damaged aer

purchase, was used according to instructions, and was used only with accessories

or consumable parts approved by Water Pik, Inc. This limited warranty excludes

Cargar el dispositivo antes del primer uso

Recargue la unidad durante 24 horas antes del primer uso. Solamente use el cargador USB incluido. En caso de no disponer de él,

Se puede ajustar la presión de su Irrigador bucal tan sólo cambiando de cabezal.

Técnica recomendada

Inclínese sobre el lavabo y coloque el cabezal en la boca. Dirija el cabezal hacia la encía y encienda (I) la unidad.

Para obtener mejores resultados, comience con los dientes de atrás y vaya desplazándose hacia los dientes de adelante. Deslice el

cabezal a lo largo de la encía y haga pausas breves entre los dientes. Continúe hasta que haya limpiado tanto la parte interna como

externa de los dientes superiores e inferiores.

Dirija la corriente del chorro en un ángulo de 90 grados respecto de la encía. Cierre ligeramente los labios para evitar salpicaduras

pero para permitir que el agua uya libremente desde la boca al lavabo. Mantenga la unidad en posición vertical durante el uso para

obtener mejores resultados.

Después de terminar

Apague la unidad. Vacíe cualquier líquido que haya quedado en el depósito.

Si lo preere, puede quitar el depósito del mango de potencia simplemente jalando hacia abajo el depósito para extraerlo.

LIMPIEZA Y SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS DE SU IRRIGADOR BUCAL WATERPIK®

Uso de enjuague bucal y otras soluciones

Su Irrigador bucal Waterpik® puede usarse con enjuague bucal o soluciones antibacterianas. Para facilitar el agregado de otras

soluciones, quite el depósito (véase sección “Después de terminar”) y agregue desde la apertura en la parte superior del depósito.

Si agrega agua adicional puede volver a colocar el depósito y llenarlo por completo usando la apertura para llenado. Luego de utilizar

cualquier solución especial, enjuague la unidad para evitar obstrucciones al llenar de manera parcial el depósito con agua tibia y haciendo

funcionar la unidad con el cabezal dirigido hacia el lavabo hasta que la unidad esté vacía.

Limpieza

Nunca sumerja la unidad en agua. Antes de limpiar, desenchufe del tomacorriente eléctrico. Limpie el producto cuando sea necesario

utilizando un paño suave y un limpiador neutro no abrasivo para limpiar el exterior.

El depósito de agua es desmontable para una fácil limpieza y es apto para la rejilla superior del lavavajillas.

Se recomienda quitar y limpiar el depósito una vez por semana.

Remoción de depósitos de agua dura/Limpieza general

Los depósitos de agua dura pueden acumularse en la unidad, dependiendo del contenido de minerales en el agua. Si no se le presta

atención, puede disminuir el rendimiento. Limpieza de partes internas: agregue 1 cucharada de vinagre blanco al depósito lleno de agua

tibia. Dirija el mango y cabezal hacia el lavabo. ENCIENDA la unidad y haga funcionar hasta que se vacíe el depósito. Enjuague repitiendo

la operación con el depósito lleno de agua tibia.

Este proceso debe realizarse cada 1 a 3 meses para asegurar un óptimo rendimiento.

Cuidado y desecho de la batería

Si el Irrigador bucal estará guardado por un período de tiempo prolongado (seis meses o más), asegúrese de cargarlo completamente

Eliminación de baterías

Este producto contiene baterías y/o material electrónico reciclable. Para proteger el medio ambiente, no deseche el producto junto con

la basura doméstica. Al agotarse la batería, por favor deséchela o recíclela según las ordenanzas de su lugar de residencia. No dude en

contactar con las autoridades de gestión de residuos para cualquier consulta.

Si acostumbra desechar la batería por cuenta propia como, por ejemplo, para el modelo WP-360, siga los pasos a continuación para

extraer la batería:

1. Apague el dispositivo y vacíe el depósito de agua.

2. Saque el control del cabezal de irrigación extrayéndolo hacia arriba.

3. Quite 2 tornillos de la parte inferior del dispositivo.

4. Saque la carcasa del encaje presionando el dispositivo contra una supercie lisa.

Quitar

5. Quite la carcasa del encaje.

6. Corte estos dos cables.

7. Extraiga la batería de la carcasa. La batería extraída debe desecharse de manera segura en un centro de reciclaje especial.

Precaución: La batería de este producto no es reemplazable. Por favor, no desarme el producto a menos que quiera desecharlo.

De lo contrario, el servicio de garantía se anulará.

Esta garantía le otorga derechos legales especícos. A su vez, es posible que usted

cuente con otros derechos, que varían según su lugar de residencia.

WATER PIK, INC. DESESTIMA TODAS LAS DEMÁS GARANTÍAS EXPLÍCITAS O

o reclamo que surgiera de o relacionado con su compra, uso, modicación,

instalación, o remoción de este producto deberá ser resuelta mediante arbitraje

vinculante. La decisión arbitral será denitiva y vinculante. Se podrá dictar

sentencia en base a la decisión arbitral en cualquier corte con jurisdicción sobre este

asunto. Además, usted acepta que no tendrá derecho a litigar ningún reclamo que

surgiera de la compra, uso, modicación, instalación, o remoción de este producto o

esté relacionado con estos en ninguna corte o a acceder a un juicio por jurado sobre

ese reclamo. El arbitraje de cualquier asunto será administrado por la Asociación

Americana de Arbitraje y dirigida por un mediador según las normas de arbitraje

del consumidor de la Asociación Americana de Arbitraje en vigencia al momento

del reclamo. La jurisdicción para los arbitrajes será Colorado y todas y cada uno de

dichos arbitrajes estarán sujetos a la Ley Federal de Arbitraje y las leyes del estado

de Colorado.

PRESENTAR RECLAMOS EN CALIDAD DE REPRESENTANTE.

Asimismo, al comprar, instalar, o utilizar este producto usted acepta que el arbitraje

debe realizarse de manera individual. Esto signica que ni usted ni nosotros puede

unirse o fusionar reclamos en el arbitraje para o en contra de otros compradores

o usuarios de productos de Water Pik, Inc. o el público general. Además, usted no

podrá litigar en la corte o arbitrar ningún reclamo como representante o miembro
