9. Ensure that the power cord never gets wet or damp when
the appliance is in use. Route the cord so that it cannot be
trapped or damaged in any way.
10. Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cords to be
replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by
our customer service department to avoid the risk of injury.
11. Set up the appliance as close as possible to the electrical
power socket. Ensure that the power plug is quickly reach-
able in case of danger.
12. Provide a stable location for the appliance.
13. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric
burner or in a heated oven.
14. Do not cook on broken cooktop – If cooktop should break,
cleaning solutions and spillovers may penetrate the broken
cook-top and create a risk of electric shock.
15. Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons
and lids on the table stove since they can get hot.
16. To disconnect the appliance, pull the plug out of the wall outlet.
17. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
18. Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
19. Clean cooktop with caution – If a wet sponge or cloth is
used to wipe spills on a hot cooking area, be careful to
avoid steam burn, some cleaners can produce noxious
fumes if applied to a hot surface.
20. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended
use.
21. A fire may occur if the appliance is covered or touches
flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls,
etc., while in operation. Do not store any item on top of the
appliance while it is in operation.
