WARNING
Disconnect the power from the pump before attempting to replace the switch. Works with many
brands and models of submersible sump pumps (TETHERED SWITCH: Max. rating 13A at 125V/60Hz .
VERTICAL SWITCH: Max. rating 10A at 125V/60Hz).

Before assembling: You must remove the direct-in switch and insert the shunt plug (included) to the pump to check if the pump
can work normally if your pump is assembled with a direct-in switch.
Plug the pump plug into 115V GFCI outlet, If the pump works, the float switch needs to be replaced.
If the pump doesn’t work, the motor has failed.

3. Plug the power cord into the
Piggyback switch.
4. Put the pump back into the pit.
5. Secure the pump.
6. Plug in the switch (with pump plug
connected) into the power outlet.
7. Check the pump by lling the pit
with water and observe the pump’s
operation through one complete
cycle. Make sure the pump cannot
move in the pit and the oat switch
moves freely up and down.

clamp from the pump
Notice: Keep the old clamp
and screw for next step.
2. Check the distance between
the oat and clamp and adjust
the distance to 4 in.(±0.5 in.).
Screw the clamp and switch
onto the pump.
2. Cut off the oat cord and take out
the washer and screw nut. Plug in
the shunt plug and add the washer
on the plug, then tighten the shunt
plug with the screw nut.
1. Unscrew the oat cord nut.
Unplug the oat plug and
remove the old switch from the
pump.
3. Plug the pump power cord into the
piggy-back switch plug, then plug the
piggy-back switch cord into the GFCI
outlet. Check the pump & vertical
switch by lling the sump pit with
water and observe the operation of
pump & vertical switch through one
complete cycle. Make sure the pump
cannot move in the sump and the
vertical switch moves freely up and
down. Notice: Do not handle pump
or vertical switch with wet hands
or when standing on wet or damp
surface, or in water.
REPLACEMENT OR INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SWITCH
1. Attach the bracket and switch
to the discharge pipe with
clamp, being sure to keep the
vertical switch vertical.
Notice: The bottom of the
float ball must be above
(1/2in.-1in.) the outlet of the
pump.
2. Tie the power cords of pump
and vertical switch to the
discharge pipe with cable tie
(included).

Desconectar la energía de la bomba antes de intentar reemplazar el interruptor.
Trabaje con varias marcas y modelos de bombas de sumidero sumergibles

Enchufar el enchufe de la bomba a un tomacorriente del interruptor del circuito de fallos de conexión a tierra (GFCI) de 115V.

3. Enchufar el cable de corriente en el
enchufe múltiple tipo piggy-back.
4. Volver a poner la bomba en el foso.
5. Asegurar la bomba.
6. Enchufar el interruptor (con el
enchufe de la bomba conectado)
en el tomacorriente eléctrico.
7. Revisar la bomba al llenar el foso
con agua y observar la operación
de la bomba a través de un ciclo
completo. Asegurarse que la
bomba no pueda moverse en el
foso y el interruptor de otador se
mueva de arriba a abajo libremente.
1. Retirar el interruptor y la
abrazadera viejos de la bomba.
Aviso: Conservar la abrazadera
y el tornillo viejos para el
siguiente paso.
2. Revisar la distancia entre el
otador y la abrazadera y
ajustar la distancia a 4 in (±0.5
in). Atornillar la abrazadera y el
interruptor a la bomba.

del GFCI. Revisar la bomba y el
interruptor vertical llenando el foso del
sumidero con agua y observar la
operación de la bomba y el interruptor
vertical a través de un ciclo completo.
Asegurarse que la bomba no pueda
moverse en el sumidero y que el
interruptor vertical se mueva libremente
de arriba a abajo.
Aviso: No manipular la bomba o el
interruptor vertical con las manos
húmedas o cuando esté parado
sobre una superficie húmeda o
mojada, o en agua.
INSTRUCCIONES PARA REEMPLAZAR
O INSTALAR UN INTERRUPTOR
1. Adjuntar el soporte y el
interruptor a la tubería de
descarga con una abrazadera,
asegurándose de mantener el
interruptor vertical en posición
vertical. Aviso: la parte inferior
de la bola del flotador debe
estar por encima (1/2 in -1 in)
del tomacorriente de la
bomba.
2. Una los cables de corriente de la
bomba y el interruptor vertical a
la tubería de descarga con un
cable de unión (incluido).
