CONGRATULATIONS on your purchase of a

GENERAC high pressure washer. It hasbeen designed,

engineered and manufactured to giveyou the best possible

dependability andperformance.

This manualcontains information for a high pressure

washer that operates at 2,400 PSIat a flow rate of

2.2gallons per minute. This highquality residential system

features 10" wheels, axial campump with stainlesssteel

pistons, automatic cool down system, chemical injection

system, adjustable spray nozzle. Includes safetygoggles,

heavy duty 25' hose, and more.

enable you to assembleyour unit without tools, and

maintain your high pressure washer properly.

• Operate engine only at governed speed. Runningthe

engine at excessivespeeds increasesthe hazardof

personal injury. Do Not tamper with parts which may

increase or decreasethe governed speed.

• Do Not wear loose clothing, jewelry or anything that

may be caught in the starter or other rotating parts.

• Before starting the pressurewasher in cold weather,

check all parts of the equipment and be sure ice hasnot

formed there.

• Never useaspraygun whichdoesnot havea trigger lock

or trigger guard in placeand in working order.

• Keepthe hose connected to machine or the spraygun

while the system ispressurized. Disconnecting the hose

while the unit ispressurized isdangerous.

• Never operate units with broken or missingparts, or

without protective housing or covers.

• Operate and store this unit on a stable surface.

• Check the fuel system for leaks or signs of deterioration,

such aschafed or spongy hose, looseor missingclamps,

or damagedtank or cap. Correct all defects before

operating the pressure washer.

• Do Not sprayflammableliquids.

• Do Not securethe spraygun in the open position.

• Use a respirator or maskwhenever there isa chance

that vaporsmay be inhaled.Readall instructionswith

mask so you are certain the mask will provide the

necessary protection againstinhalingharmful vapors.

• Never aim the spray gun at people, animals or plants.

The high pressure stream of water that this equipment

produces can pierce skin and itsunderlying tissues,

leading to serious injuryand possible amputation.

• Never allow any part of the body to come in contact

with the fluid stream. Do Not come in contact with a

fluidstream created by a leakin the high pressure hose.

• Always wear eye protection when you usethis

equipment or when you are in the vicinitywhere the

equipment isin use.

• High pressure spraycan causepaint chips or other

particles to become airborne.

• Do Not operate the pressure washer above the rated

pressure.

• Never move the machine by pulling on the high pressure

hose. Use the handle provided on the unit.

• Always be certain the spraygun, nozzles and accessories

are correctly attached.

• High pressure spray may damagefragile itemsincluding

glass.Do Not point spraygun at glasswhen in the jet

spray mode.

• Hold the spraygun firmly in your hand before you start

the unit. Failureto do so could result in an injuryfrom a

whipping spray gun. Do Not leavethe spray gun

unattended while the machine is running,

• The cleaningarea should haveadequate slopes and

drainage to reduce the possibility of a fall due to slippery

surfaces.

• Keep water spray awayfrom electric wiring or fatal

electric shock may result.

• Do Not by-pass any safety device on this machine.

• The muffler and engine heat up during operation and

remain hot immediatelyafter shutting it down. Avoid

contact with a hot muffler or engine asyou could be

severely burned.

• High pressure hose can develop leaks from wear, kinking,

abuse, etc. Water sprayingfrom a leakiscapableof

injectingmaterial into skin. Inspect hose eachtime before

usingit. Check all hosesfor cuts, leaks,abrasions or

bulgingof cover, or damageor movement of couplings. If

any of these conditions exist, replace hose immediately.

Never repair high pressure hose. Replace it with

another hosethat exceedsmaximum pressure rating of

your unit.

• The muffler and air cleaner must be installedand in good

condition before operating the pressure washer.These

components act asspark arresters if the engine backfires.

In the State of California aspark arrester isrequired by law

(Section 4442 of the California Public Resources Code).

Other states may havesimilar laws.Federal laws applyon

federal lands.

NOTE: If you equip the muffler with a spark arrester, it

must be maintained in effective working order. You can

order a spark arrester through your authorized Honda

service dealer.

PREPARING PRESSURE

WASHER FOR USE

If you haveanyproblems with the assemblyof your

pressure washer or if parts are missingor damaged,call the

pressure washer helpline at 1-800-270-1408.

To prepare your pressure washer for operation, you

will need to perform these tasks:

• Fitl out and sendin registration card.

• Attach accessorytray to handle, then attach handle to

main unit.

• Add oil to engine crankcase.

• Add fuel to fuel tank.

• Connect high pressure hoseto spraygun and pump.

• Connect water supply to pump.

NOTE: Alt assemblyoperations given in this section will

be described from the perspective of assemblingthe

pressure washer from the rear.

• Slide the plastic accessory tray onto the handle and align

the holes inthe accessorytray with the holes on the

handle (Figure I).

• Securetray to handle with self tapping screws usinga

#2 phillips screwdriver. Ensurescrews are tight but not

crushing the plastic accessorytray.

NOTE: It may be necessaryto move the handle supports

from sideto side in order to align the handle so it will slide

over the handle supports.

• Insert the carriage bolt through the holes from the

outside of the unit and attach a plastic knob from the

inside of the unit. Tighten by hand (Figure 3).

• Insert the "J"hook into the second from the left slot in

the accessorytray (Figure 4).

• Pinchthe chemical hose that comes out of a hole in the

unit's baseand slide it into the metal clip, as shown in

Figure5.

• Tilt the unit up by the handle and attach the metal clip to

the rib on the left underside of the accessory tray

(Figure 6). Slide the chemical hosethrough the metal clip

so that it is tight but not kinked.

Add Engine Oil

IMPORTANT: Any attempt to crank or start the engine

before it hasbeen properly serviced with the

recommended oil mayresult in an engine failure.

• Placepressure washer on a levelsurface.

• Refer to the engine owners manualto add recommended

oil to engine.

NOTE: Check oil often during engine break-in. Refer to

engine owner's manualfor recommendations.

Add Gasoline

_hL WARNING! Never fill fuel tank indoors. Never

fill fuel tank when engine is running or hot. Do Not

smoke when filling fuel tank.

_hL WARNING! Never fill fuel tank completely full.

Provide space for fuel expansion. Wipe away any fuel

spillage from engine and equipment before starting.

• Use fresh,cleanunleadedautomotive gasolineand store in

approved, clean, covered containers. Use cleanfill

funnels. Never use"stale" gasoline left over from last

season or gasolinestored for long periods.

• Clean area around fuel fill cap, remove cap.

• Slowly add gasoline to fuel tank. Use a funnel to prevent

spillage. Fill tank to "Fuel Level Mark" (Figure 7).

• Install fuel cap andwipe up any spilled gasoline.

IMPORTANT: You must attach all hoses before you start

the engine.Starting engine without all hoses connectedand

water supplied will damagethe pump.

NOTE: Your pressure washer comes with a quick connect

that you can useto attach the high pressure hose to either

the pump or spraygun.

• Uncoil the high pressure hose and attach the female

quick connect to one end of the hose. Attach the male

quick connect to the high pressure fitting on the pump

(Figure 8).

• Attach the hose to the baseof the spray gun (Figure 10).

Tighten by hand.

• Before you connectyour garden hoseto the water inlet,

inspectthe inlet screen (Figure I I). Clean the screen if it

containsdebris, replaceit if it is damaged.DO NOT RUN

THE PRESSUREWASHER IFTHE SCREENISDAMAGED.

NEVERSIPHON INLET WATER.

Attach the other end of the highpressure hose to the

high pressure outlet on the pump (Figure 9). Pull down

on the collar of the quick connect,slide onto the pump

and let go of collar. Pull on hose to be sure of a tight

connection.

• Run water through the garden hosefor 30 secondsto

cleanout any debris. Turn off water.

• Connect the garden hoseto the water inlet. Tighten by

hand (Figure II).

CAUTION! There MUST be at least ten feet of

unrestricted garden hose between the pressure washer

inlet and anyflow shut off device, such as a 'Y' shut-off

connector or other convenience-type water shut-off valve.

Damageto pressure washer resulting from disregarding this

caution will not be covered by the warranty.

• Turn ON the water and squeezethe trigger on the spray

gun to purge the pump system of air and impurities.

A AUTION! Before starting the pressure washer,

be sure you are wearing adequate eye protection.

Checklist Before Starting Engine

Reviewthe unit's assemblyto confirm you have performed

all of the following:

• Makesure the handle is in place and secure.

• Check that oil hasbeen added to the proper level in the

engine crankcase.

• Add the proper gasolineto fuel tank.

• Check for properly tightened hose connections.

• Check to make sure that there are no kinks, cuts, or

damageto the high pressure hose.

• Provide aproper water supply (not to exceed 100°F)at

an adequateflow.

• Besure to read "Safety Rules" and "How To Use Your

PressureWasher" before usingthe pressure washer.

HOW TO USE YOUR

PRESSURE WASH ER

If you haveanyproblems operating your pressurewasher,

pleasecall the pressure washer helpline at 1-800-270-1408.

To Start Your Pressure Washer

To start your pressure washer for the first time, follow

these instructions step-by-step. This starting information

also applies if you havelet the pressure washer sit idle for

at least a day.

• Placethe pressure washer in an area close enough to an

outside water source capableof supplying water at a flow

rate greater than 2.4gallons per minute.

• Check that the high pressure hose is tightly connected to

the spraygun and to the pump. See"Preparing Pressure

Washer For Use" for illustrations.

• Makesure unit isin a level position.

• Connect the garden hose to the water inleton the

pressure washer pump. Turn ON the water.

CAUTION! Do Not run the pump without the water

supply connected and turned on. You must follow this

caution or the pump will be damaged.

• Squeezetrigger on gun until you havea steady stream of

water. This purgesthe pump of air and impurities.

• Attach nozzle extension to spray gun (Figure 12).Tighten

by hand.

• Position the nozzle inthe tow pressure mode (slide

nozzle forward) and squeezethe trigger on the spray gun

to relieve pressure caused by turning ON the water.

Water will flow out of the gun in a thin stream. Continue

to hold trigger until there is a steady stream of water

and no air remains in the system. Releasethe trigger.

• Engagethe safety latch to the spray gun trigger

(Figure 13).

• Rotate the fuel valve to the "On" position (Figure 14).

• Move the choke lever to the "Closed" position

(Figure 14).

NOTE: For a warm engine, be sure the choke lever isin

the "Open" position.

• Move the throttle leverto the "Fast" position, shown

on the engine asa rabbit (Figure 14).

• Placeyour left foot on the lower frame andgrasp the

handle asshown (Figure 15).Your unit may appear

slightly different from that shown here.

• Pull the starter grip handle lightly with your right hand

untilyou feel some resistance,then pull briskly.

• Return the starter grip handle slowly. Do Not let rope

"snap back" againststarter.

• When engine starts, slowly move choke lever to the

"Open" position. If engine falters, move choke lever to

the "Closed" position, then to the "Open" position.

• If engine fails to start after six pulls, move choke lever to

the "Open" position. If engine fires, but does not

continue to run, move choke leverto the "Closed"

position, then to the "Open" position.

NOTE: If the recoil starter ishard to pull,it maybe necessary

to squeezethe gun triggerto relieveinternalpump pressure.

How to Stop Your Pressure Washer

• Move throttle lever on engine to "Stop" position.

• Rotate the fuel valve to the "Off" position.

• Squeeze trigger on the spray gun to relieve

pressure in the hose.

NOTE: A small amount of water will squirt out when you

releasethe pressure.

How to Use Accessory Tray

The unit isequipped with an accessorytray with placesto

store your nozzle extension, and slots to hold the cleaning

solution bottle and the detergent siphoning filter. There are

also two hooks at the ends of the accessory tray to hold

your spray gun and high pressure hose.

NOTE: The extra holes in the tray are for storing a brush

and a turbo wand. The brush and turbo wand are NOT

included with your pressure washer.You can buy these

items asoptional accessories.

• Placethe nozzle extension through the holeon the

accessory tray, asshown in Figure 16.

Hang your chemical solution bottle on the "J" hook and

place the detergent siphoning filter in the last slot on the

left (Figure 16).

• Hang the high pressure hose on the hook on the right

side of the accessory tray (Figure 16).

• Placethe spray gun on the hook on the left side of the

accessory tray as shown on page4.

How to Use the Adjustable Nozzle

You now should know how to START your pressure

washer and how to STOP it. The informationin this

section will tell you how to adjust the spray pattern and

apply detergent or other cleaning chemicals.

A AUTION! Never adjust spray pattern when

spraying.Never put handsin front of nozzle to

adjust spray pattern.

The adjustable nozzle affixed to the nozzle extension

permits you to adjust the spray pattern and the spray

pressure, asfollows:

• Slide the nozzle forward to adjust the spray to low

pressure mode (Figure 17).Slidethe nozzle backward to

achieve high pressure.

• Point the nozzledown towards a firm surface and press

the trigger to test the pattern (Figure 18).

• Twisting the nozzle adjuststhe spray pattern from a

narrow pattern to afan pattern (Figure 19).

• For most effective cleaning, keep the spray nozzle

between 8 to 24 inchesaway from cleaningsurface.

• If you get the spray nozzle too close, especially usinghigh

pressure mode, you may damagethe surface being

cleaned.

• Do Not get closer than 8 inches when cleaning tires.

Applying Detergent with the

Adjustable Nozzle

CAUTION! You must attach all hoses before you

start the engine. Starting the engine without all the hoses

connected and without the water turned ON will damage

the pump.

IMPORTANT: Use soaps designed specifically for

pressure washers. Household detergentscould damage

the pump.

To apply detergent, follow these steps:

• Reviewthe useof adjustable nozzles.

• Prepare detergent solution asrequired by the

manufacturer.

• Hangthe detergent solution on the "J" hook attached to

the accessory tray, asshown in Figure20.

• Placethe small filter end of the detergent siphoning tube

into the detergent container.

CAUTION! Keep the detergent siphoning tube from

coming in contact with the hot muffler.

• Slidethe adjustable nozzle forward to low pressure

mode. Detergent cannot be applied with the nozzle in

high pressure position.

• Make sure the garden hose isconnected to the water

inlet.Check that the high pressure hose isconnected to

the spraygun and the pump. Start the engine.

• Apply the detergent to a dry surface, starting at lower

portion of area to be washed and work upward, using

long, even, overlapping strokes.

• Allow the detergent to "soak in"for 3-5 minutes before

washing and rinsing. Reapplyasneeded to prevent

surface from drying. Do Not allow the detergent to dry

on (prevents streaking).

IMPORTANT: You must flush the chemical injection

system after each use by placingthe filter into a bucket of

clean water, then run the pressure washer in low pressure

for I-2 minutes.

Pressure Washer Rinsing

_, ARNING! Be extremely careful if you must

use the pressure washer from a ladder,scaffolding

or anyother relatively unstable location. Pressure in

a running washer builds asyou climb. When you

press the trigger, the recoil from the initialspray

could causeyou to fall. The high pressure spray

could alsocauseyou to fall ifyou are too close to

the cleaningsurface.

For Rinsing:

• Slidethe nozzle backward to high pressure and press the

trigger. It will take a few secondsfor the detergent to

clear.

NOTE: You canalso stop detergent from flowing by

simply removing detergent siphon tube from bottle.

• Keep the spray gun a safedistance from the area you

plan to spray.

• Apply ahigh pressure spray to a small area,then check

the surface for damage. If no damageis found, it isokay

to continuerinsing.

• Start at the top of the area to be rinsed, working down

with same overlapping strokes asyou usedfor cleaning.

Automatic Cool Down System

(Thermal Relief)

If you run the engine on your pressure washer for

3-5 minutes without pressingthe trigger on the spray gun,

circulating water in the pump can reach a temperature

between 140-145°E When the water reachesthis

temperature, the automatic cool down system engagesand

cools the pump by discharging the warm water onto

the ground. This system prevents internaldamageto the

pump.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

RECOMMENDATIONS

The pressure washer warranty does not cover items that have

been subjected to operator abuse or negligence. Toreceive

fu[l value from the warranty, the operator must maintain the

high pressure washer as instructed in this manual.

• Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to

properly maint_n your high pressure washer. Check the

spray gun and adjustable nozzle extension assembly for wear.

• All maintenance in this manual and the engine owner's

manual should be made at least once each season.

• Once a year you should clean or replacethe spark plug,

clean or replacethe air filter. A new spark plug and clean

air filter assureproper fuel-air mixture and help your

engine run better and last longer. Pleaserefer to your

engine owner's manualfor more details.

• The proper tire inflation operating range should be

15-40 PSI.

BEFORE EACH USE

Check engineoit level.

Check water inlet screen for damage.

Check in-line filter for damage.

Check high pressure hose for leaks.

Check detergent siphoning tube and filter for damage.

Check spraygun and adjustable nozzle extension

assemblyfor leaks.

• Rinseout garden hoseto flush out debris before

connecting to pressure washer.

MAINTENANCE

Check and Clean Inlet Screen

Examinethe screen on the water inlet.Clean it if the

screen is clogged or replace it if screen is damaged.

Check High Pressure Hose

The high pressure hose can develop leaksfrom wear,

kinking, or abuse. Inspect the hose eachtime before using

it. Check for cuts, leaks,abrasions or bulgingof cover,

damageor movement of couplings. If any of these

conditions exist, replace the hose immediately.

A AUTION! Water spraying from a leakis

capableof injectingmaterial intoskin. Inspecthose

each time before using it_Never repair a high

pressure hose. Replace it with another hose that

exceeds the maximum pressure rating of your

pressure washer.

Check Detergent Siphoning Tube

Examine the filter on the detergent tube and clean if

clogged. The tube should fit tightly on the barbed fitting.

Examine the tube for leaksor tears. Replacethe filter or

tube if either isdamaged.

Cleaning Detergent Siphoning Tube

If you usedthe detergent siphoning tube, you must flush it

with clean water before stopping the engine.

• Placethe chemical injectionsiphon/filter in a bucket full

of clean water.

• Slide the adjustable nozzle extension forward to the [ow

pressure mode.

• Flushfor I-2 minutes.

• Shut off the engine.

IMPORTANT: Simply shutting OFF engine will not

release pressure in the system.When the engine has

shut down, squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to

relieve the pressure in the hose.

Check Gun and Adjustable Nozzle

Extension

Examine the hose connection to the spray gun and make

sure it issecure. Testthe trigger by pressing it and making

sure it "springs back" into place when you releaseit. Put

the safety latchin the ON position and test the trigger. You

should not be able to press the trigger.

Check In-Line Filter

Refer to Figure21 and servicethe in-linefilter ifit

becomes clogged, asfollows:

Detach spray gun and nozzle extension from high

pressure hose. Detach nozzle extension from spray

gun and remove o-ring and screen from nozzle

extension. Flushthe screen, spraygun, and adjustable

nozzle extension with cleanwater to clear debris.

If the screen is damaged,the o-ring kit contains a

replacement in-llne filter screen and an o-ring. If

undamaged,reuse screen.

Placethe in-line filter screen into the threaded end of

the nozzle extension. Direction does not matter. Push

the screen in with the eraser end of a pencil until it

rests flat at the bottom of the opening. Takecare to

not bend the screen.

4. Placethe o-ring into the recess. Pushthe o-ring snugly

againstthe in-line filter screen.

5. Assemble the nozzleextension to the spraygun, as

described earlier in this manual.

Purge Pump of Air and

Contaminants

To remove air from the pump, follow these steps:

• Set up the pressure washerasdescribed in "Preparing

PressureWasher For Use". Connect the water supply

and turn water on.

• Pullthe trigger on the spraygun and hold.

• When the water supply issteady and constant, engage

the safety latch.

To remove contaminants from the pump, follow

these steps:

• Set up the pressure washer asdescribed in "Preparing

PressureWasher For Use". Connect the water supply

and turn water on.

• Start the engine according to instructionsin "To Start

Your PressureWasher".

• Removenozzle extension from spray gun.

• Squeezethe trigger on the spray gun and hold.

• When the water supply is steady and constant, engage

the safety latch and reattach the nozzle extension.

Nozzle Maintenance

A pulsing sensationfelt while squeezingthe spray gun

trigger may be caused by excessivepump pressure. The

principalcause ofexcessivepump pressureisa nozzle

cloggedor restrictedwith foreignmaterials,such as dirt,

etc.To correctthe problem,immediatelycleanthe nozzle

usingthe toolsincludedwith your pressurewasher and

followtheseinstructions:

Shut off the engineand turn off the water supply.

Detach the nozzle extension from the spray gun. Twist

the nozzle clockwise to the stream position. Using the

supplied 2mm (5/64) allen wrench, remove the nozzle

from the end of the nozzle extension (Figure 22).

3. Remove the in-linefilter from the other end of the

nozzle extension.

4. Usethe wire included in the kit (or asmall paper dip)

to free any foreign material dogging or restricting the

nozzle (Figure 22).

5. Usingagarden hose, remove additional debris by back

flushingwaterthroughthenozzleextension

(Figure23).Backflushbetween30 to60 seconds.Turn

theadjustablenozzleextensiontostreamsprayand

move thenozzlefromlowtohighwhileflushing.

6. Reinstall the nozzle and in-linefilter into the nozzle

extension. Do Not overtighten the nozzle with the

allen wrench.

7. Reconnect the nozzle extension to the spray gun.

8. Reconnect the water supply,turn on the water, and

start the engine.

9. Test the pressure washer by operating with nozzle in

the high and in the low positions.

O-Ring Maintenance

Through the normal operation of your pressure washer,

o-rings, which keep the connections of the hoses and spray

gun tight and leak-free, may become worn or damaged.

Provided with your pressure washer is an O-Ring

MaintenanceKit which includes replacement o-rings, rubber

washer and water inlet filter. Refer to the instruction sheet

provided in the kit to service your unit's o-rings. Note that

not all of the parts in the kit will be used on your unit.

To remove a worn or damaged o-ring:

• Use a small flathead screwdriver to get underneath the

o-ring and pry it off.

ENGINE MAINTENANCE

See the engine owner's manual for instructions on how to

properly maintain the engine.

PREPARING THE UNIT

FOR STORAGE

Water should not remain inthe unit for long periods of

time. Sedimentsor minerals candeposit on pump parts and

"freeze" pump action. If you do not plan to usethe pressure

washer for more than 30 days,follow this procedure:

I. Flushdetergent siphoningtube by placingthe filter into

a pail of clean water while running pressure washer in

low pressure mode (adjustable nozzle in the forward

position). Flushfor one to two minutes.

2. Shutoff the engineand let it cool, then remove high

pressure and gardenhoses.Disconnect spark plug wire

from spark plug.

3. Empty the pump of liquids by pulling the engine recoil

handle about 6 times. This should remove most of the

liquid in the pump.

4. Use Generac brand pump saver to prevent corrosion

build up andfreezing of pump.

5. Store unit in a clean, dry area.

Protecting the Pump

To protect the pump from damagecaused by mineral

deposits or freezing, usethe Generac PumpSaverto treat

pump. This prevents freeze damageand lubricates pistons

and seals.

NOTE: Generac PumpSaver,model number 01559, is

availableasan optional accessory.It is not included with

the pressure washer.

CAUTION! You must protect your unit from freezing

temperatures. Failure to do so will permanently damage

your pump and render your unit inoperable. Freeze damage

is not covered under warranty.

A CAUTION! Read and follow all cautions and

warnings on the PumpSaver can label. Always wear

eye protection when using PumpSaver.

To use PumpSaver, make sure the pressure washer is

turned off and disconnected from supply water. Read and

follow all instructions and warnings given on the PumpSaver

container.

NOTE: PumpSaver will drip from pump after treatment

and will stain wood and concrete.

NOTE: If PumpSaver is not available, draw RV antifreeze

(non-alcohol) into the pump by pouring the solution into a

3-foot section of garden hose connected to inlet adapter

and pulling recoil handle twice.

STORING THE ENGINE

See the engine owner's manual for instructions on how to

properly prepare the engine for storage.

Lavadorade Alta Presi6n 2,400 PSIde Generac Portable Products

Opere el motor 6nicamente a la velocidad de mando. Hacer

funcionar el motor a velocidades excesivasaumenta el riesgo

de lesiones personales. No juegue con partes que puedan

aumentar o disminuir la velocidad de mando.

No use ropa suelta, joyas o elementos que puedanquedar

atrapados en el arranque o en otras partes rotatorias.

Antes de poner en marcha la m_quina lavadora a presi6n en

clima frio, revise todas las partes del equipo y aseg6resede

que no sehaya formado hielo sobre elias.

Nunca utilice una pistola de rociado que no tenga un seguro

Nunca mueva la m_quina halando la manguera de alta

presibn. Utilice la manija que viene con la unidad.

Siempre asegOresede que la pistola de rociado, boquillas y

accesorios est_n conectados correctamente.

No asegure la pistola de rociado en la posicibn (open =

abierto).

El rociado de alta presi6n puede da_ar elementos fr_giles,

incluyendo el vidrio. No apunte la pistola de rociado al vidrio

cuando est_ en el modo de rociado achorro.

Sostengafirmemente en su mano la manguera de rociado

antes de poner en marcha la unidad. De no hacerlo, podrian

La manguera de alta presibn puede desarrollar fugasdebido al

desgaste,dobleces,abuso, etc. El agua que sale de una fugaes

capazde inyectar materiales en la pieL lnspeccione la

manguera siempre que la vayaa usar. Revisetodas las

mangueras para ver si presentan cortes, fugas,abrasiones o

deformacibn de la cubierta, daho o movimiento de

acoplamientos. Si existe cualquiera de estas condiciones,

remplace la manguera inmediata-mente.Nunca repare la

manguera de alta presibn. Remplacela con una manguera que

tenga la misma capacidadde presibn m_xima de su unidad.

El silenciador y el depurador de aire deber_n estar instalados

yen buenas condiciones antes de operar la m_quina lavadora

a presi6n. Estos componentes act_an como apagachispassi el

motor presenta contrafuegos.

Enel estado de California es obligatorio, segOnla ley,el uso de

apagachispas(Seccibn 4442 del Cbdigo de Recursos POblicosde

California). Otros estados pueden tener leyessimilares. Lasleyes

federales seaplican en tierras federales.

NOTA: Si equipa el silenciador con un apagachispas,este deber_

ser mantenido en buenas condiciones de trabajo. Usted puede

LAVADOR A ALTA

PRESION PARA SU USO

Si usted tiene un problemaal ensamblarla unidad o si hacen falta

algunaspiezaso se encuentran daSadas,Ilamea la linea directa del

lavador a alta presi6n, al 1-800-270-1408.

A prepara su arandela de la presi6n para la operaci6n,

usted necesitarg a realiza estas tareas:

LIene y mande en tarjeta de matricula.

Conecte manubrio y bandejaaccesoria a unidad principal.

ASada aceiteal motor.

ASadagasolinaal tanque de combustible.

Conecte manguera aalta presi6n a pistola rociadora y a bomba.

Conecte el suministro de aguaa bomba.

Accesoria

NOTA: Todas las operaciones de ensambleproporcionadasen

esta secci6n, ser_,ndescritas desde la perspectiva del ensamblaje

de la lavadora a presi6n desdesu parte posterior.

Deslice la bandeja accesoria pl_stica en el asidero y alinee los

hoyos en la bandejaaccesoria con los hoyos en el asidero

(Figura 24).

La bandejaseguraa[ asidero con tornillos auto utilizausando

un #2 destornil[ador de phillips. Asegure seres de torni[Ios

apretados pero no ap[astarla bandejaaccesoria pl_stica.

Coloque el manubrio sobre los soportes del mismo que ya

est_n adheridos a launidad principal Aseg_rese de que los

orificios en el manubrio est_n aIineados con los orificios en

los soportes del mismo manubrio (Figura 25).

NOTA: Talvez ser_ necesario mover los soportes del manubrio

de un lado a otro para aIinear el manubrio de tal manera que

pueda desIizarsesobre los soportes del mismo manubrio.

Inserte el perno del soporte a tray,s de los orificios desde

fuera de la unidad y sujete una perilIa de pl_stico desde el

interior de la mismaunidad. Apriete manualmente (Figura 26).

Inserte el gancho "j" en la segundaranura a la izquierdaen el

charoIa accesoria (Figura 27).

Agregar Aceite al Motor

IMPORTANTE: Cualquier intento para arancar el motor antes

de haberle proporcionado el mantenimiento apropiado con el

aceite recomendado, podria ocasionar la faIla del motor.

Coloque la lavadora a presi6n sobre una superficie niveIada.

ConsuIte el manual del propietario del motor para a_adir al

motor el aceite recomendado.

NOTA: Verifique el aceite del motor de manera frecuente

cuando _ste seesfuerce demasiado. Consulte el manual del

propietario del motor para conocer cuglesson las

recomendaciones al respecto.

Afiada Gasolina

_hl ADVERTENCIA! Nunca Ilene el tanque de combustible

en recintos cerrados. Nunca IIene el tanque de combustible

cuando el motor est_ funeionando o est_ caliente. No fume

cuandoest_ Ilenandoel tanquede combustible.

_jll iADVERTENCIA! Nunca Ilene por compIeto el

tanque de combustible. Deie espacio para la expansi6n del

combustible. Limpie cualquier derrame de combustible del

motor y del equipo antes de darIe arranque a la unidad.

Use combustible limpio y almac_nelo en recipientes cubiertos,

limpios y aprobados. Utilice embudos limpios. Nunca utilice

gasolina "vieja" deiadade la estaci6n anterior o gasolina

almacenadapor periodos de tiempo prolongados.

Limpie el _,reaalrededor de la tapa de Ilenado del

combustible, retire latapa.

Agregue lentamente gasolina al tanque de combustible. Use un

embudo para evitar que sederrame. Llene el tanque hastala

"Marca de Nivel del Combustible" como semuestra a

continuaci6n (Figura 30).

Instale la tapa del tanque de combustible y limpie la gasolina

que se hayaderramado.

Conecte la Manguera y el Suministro

de Agua a la Bomba

IMPOErANTE: Usted deber_ armar la extensi6n para boquillas

y conectar todas las manguerasantes de darle arranque al motor.

La bomba resultar_ dahadasi arranca el motor sin tener todas las

mangueras conectadas y el suministro aguaabierto.

NOTA: Suarandela de la presi6n viene con un r_pido conecta

que usted est_ acostumbrado a conecta la mangaalta de la

presi6n a o el fusil de la bomba o el roclo.

Uncoil la mangaalta de la presi6n y conecta el r_pido conecta

a un fin de la manga.Conecte el hembra r_pido conecta a

masculino la presi6n alta que quedan en la bomba (Figura 31).

Conecte el otro extremo de la manguera a alia presi6n, a la

salida de alta presi6n de la bomba (Figura 32). Hale el collar

de la conexi6n r_pida, deslicelo en la bombay suelte el collar.

Hale la manguera para asegurarse que esta bien conectada.

Conecte ia manguera a la base de la pistola de rociado

(Figura 33). Apriete con la mano.

Antes de que conecte la manguera de jardin a la entrada de

agua,inspeccione el colador de la entrada (Figura 34). Limpie

el colador sitiene residuos o solicite su remplazo si est_

daffado. NO HAGA FUNCIONAR LA M,&,QUtNA

LAVADORA A PRESI_N SIEL COLADOR DE LA

ENTRADA EST', DAI_IADO. NUNCA AGUA DE CALA DE

SIPHON.

Haga correr el aguaa tray,s de la manguerade su lardin por

30 segundospara limpiar cualquier escombro que se

encuentre en ella. Desconecte el agua.

Conecte la manguera de jardin a la entrada del agua.Apriete

con la mano (Figura 34).

Lista de Revision Previa al Arranque

del Motor

Revisela unidad para asegurarse que ha Ilevado a cabo los

siguientes procedimientos:

Cerci6rese el manecilla esseguro.

Reviseque hayasido depositado aceite y est_ al nivel correcto

en la cajadel cigLie_aldel motor.

Deposite la gasolinaadecuadaen el tanque del combustible.

Reviseque todas lasconexiones de las mangueras (alta

presi6n y suministro de agua)est_n apretadas correctamente

y que no existan dobleces, cortes o da_o de la manguera de

Proporcione el suministro de aguaadecuado (que no exceda

los 100°F).

Aseg_rese de Jeerlasseeeiones"Reglasde Seguridad" y

"C6mo Usar SuM_quina LavadoraA Presi6n" antes de usar la

m_quina lavadoraa presi6n.

Si tiene problemas operando su mgquina lavadora a presi6n, por

favor flame a la linea de ayuda para m_quinas lavadoras a presi6n

al 1-800-270-1408.

C6mo Darle Arranque a su MAquina

Lavadora a Presi6n

Para darle arranque a su m_quina lavadora a presi6n movida a

motor pot primera vez, siga estas instrucciones paso a paso. Esta

informaci6n acerca del arranque inicial tambi_n se aplica cuando

vaya a darle arranque al motor despu_s de haber dejado de la

m_quina lavadora a presi6n fuera de uso pot al menos un dia.

Coloque la mgquina lavadora a presi6n en un _rea cercana a una

suministro de agua exterior capaz de abastecer agua a un volumen

mayor de 2.4 galones por minuto.

Revise que la manguera de alta presi6n se encuentre

conectada flrmemente a la pistola de rociado y a la bomba.

Vea "Preparando El Lawdor A AIta Presi6n Para Su Uso".

Aseg6rese que la unidad est_ nivelada.

Conecte la manguera de jardin a la entrada del agua. Aprietela

con la mano. Abra el suministro de agua.

iPRECAUCI_N! No haga funcionar la bomba si no tiene el

suministro conectado y abierto. Deber_ cumplir con esta precauci6n,

de otra forma la bomba resultarg dahada.

Apriete firmemente el gatillo de la pistola para purgar de aire

e impurezas el sistema de bombeo.

Conecte la extensi6n de la lanza a la pistola rociadora.

Apri_tela con las manos (Figura 35).

Apriete el gatillo en la pistola rociadora (aseg6rese de que la

lanza se encuentra en el modo de baja presi6n) para

deshacerse de la presi6n del aire causada al prender el agua.

El agua se descargara de la pistola del spray en un chorro muy

Delgado. Aguante el gatillo hasta que un chorro continuo de

agua aparece. Esto har_ que el comienzo del motor se haga

f_cilmente. Suelte el gatillo.

Coloque el pasador de seguridad al gatillo de la pistola

rociadora (Figura 36).

Mueva lapalancade la v_lvulade regulaci6n a laposici6n

"Fast", marcadaen la unidad con un coneio (Figura 37).

Coloque su pie izquierdo en elcuadro inferior de la unidady

sujete la manijatal y como se muestra (Figura38). La apariencia

de la unidad puede ser ligeramente distinta de la mostrada aqul.

Jalelacuerda de arranque lentamente con su mano derecha

hastaque sienta algunaresistencia, entonces jale con energla.

Regresela cuerda de arranque lentamente. No permita que la

cuerda regrese bruscamente y golpee el arrancador.

Cuando arranque el motor, mueva lentamente la palancadel

ahogador a la posici6n ("Open"). Si el motor se enciende,

pero no continda funcionando, mueva entonces la palancaa la

posici6n ("Closed"), y despu_s a la posici6n ("Open").

Si el motor no arranca despu_s de seistirones, mueva la

palancadel ahogador ala posici6n ("Closed"), y despu_s a la

posici6n ("Open").

NOTA: Encaso de que resulte dificil jalar el arrancador de

retroceso, quiz_s ser_ necesario apretar con firmeza el disparador

de la pistola para disminuir la presi6n interna de bombeo.

C6mo Detener su M quina Lavadora

a Presi6n

Mueva la palancade la v_lvulade regulaci6n a la posici6n

"Stop" ("Parado").

Muevala palancade lav_lvuladel combustibleala posici6n"Ott".

Apriete el gatillo de la pistola de rociado para

elirninar la presi6n de la rnanguera.

NOTA: Observar_ una pequefia cantidad de aguacuando elimine

la presi6n.

Utilizaci6n de la Bandeja Accesoria

Elunidad est_ equipado con una bandeiaaccesoria. Poseetres

oriflcios para sostener la extensi6n de su boquilla, conexi6n

r_pida boquillas, su varilla turbo y su cepillo, asl como dos ranuras

para sostener la botella de soluci6n limpiadora y el filtro para el

detergente. Tambi_n tiene dos ganchos en el bandeiaaccesoria

para sostener su pistola aspersora y la manguerade alta presi6n.

NOTA: Los dos orificios extra en la charola seusan para colocar

el cepillo y la varilla turbo. El cepillo y la varilla turbo NO se

incluyen con su lavadora a presi6n. Puedeadquirir dichos artlculos

como accesorios opcionales.

Coloque la extensi6n de la boquilla a tray,s del orificio en el

charola de accesorios, tal y como semuestra en la Figura39.

Sostenga la botella de su soluci6n limpiadora en el gancho en

forma de "J" y coloque el flltro del detergente en la 61tima

ranura a la izquierda (Figura 39).

Cuelgue la manga alta de la presi6n en el gancho en el lado

correcto de la bandeia accesoria (Figura 39).

Coloque el fusil del roclo en el gancho en el lado izquierdo de

la bandeia accesoria como mostrado en la p_gina 22.

C6mo Usar la Boquilla Ajustable

Usted ya debe saber como darle ARRANQUE a su m_quina

lavadora a presi6n y como DETENERLA. La informaci6n de

esta secci6n le dir_ como ajustar el patr6n de rociado y como

aplicar detergente u otros qulmicos de limpieza.

_ iPRECAUCI_)N! Nunca ajuste el patr6n de rociado

cuando est_ rociando. Nunca coloque las manos en frente

de laboquilla para aiustar el patr6n de rociado.

En el extremo de su pistola de rociado existe una maniia que se

puede mover hacia adelante y hacia atr_s para aiustar el patr6n de

rociado para que sea de alta o baja presi6n.

Usted tambi_n puede aiustar el patr6n de rociado girando la

boquilla para que est_ concentrado en un patr6n de chorro o

un patr6n expandido en abanico (Figura 40).

aplicaci6n del detergente.

Apunte la boquilla hacia el suelo, desenganche el cerroio de

seguridad y apriete el gatillo para probar el patr6n de rociado

(Figura 41).

El patr6n de rociado se ajusta de un patr6n angosto a un

patr6n en abanico girando la boquilla (Figura 42).

Para una limpieza m_s efectiva, mantenga la boquilla de

rociado de 8 a 24 pulgadas de la superficie de limpieza.

Si coloca la boquilla de rociado demasiado cerca podria daffar

la superficie, especialmente cuando est_ usando el modo de

alta presi6n.

No coloque la boquilla a menos de 8 pulgadas cuando est_

limpiando llantas.

Aplicaci6n del Detergente Usando la

Boquilla Ajustable

|PRECAUCION! Usted deberg conectar todas las mangueras

antes de darle arranque al motor. Arrancar el motor sin tener

todas las mangueras conectadas y sin el suministro de agua

ABIERTO (ON) causar_ el daho de la bomba.

IMPORTANTE: Utilice quimicos disefiados

especificamente para m_quinas lavadoras a presi6n. Los

detergentes caseros podrian da_ar la bomba.

Para aplicar el detergente, siga los siguientes pasos:

Reviseel uso de la boquilla ajustable.

Prepare lasoluci6n detergente siguiendo_asinstruccionesde_

fabricante.

Sostengala solucibn detergente en el gancho ']" adherido al

charola accesoria,tal y como Io muestra la Figura43.

Coloque el pequehoextremo final del filtro del tubo de

inyeccibndel detergente dentro del contenedor del

detergente.

|PRECAUCI_N! Evite que el tubo de inyeccibnde quimicos

entre en contacto con el silenciador caliente.

Mueva la boquilla ajustable hacia adelante para obtener el

modo de baja presibn. El detergente No puede ser aplicado si

tiene la boquilla en la posicibn de alta presi6n.

Aseg_rese que la manguera de jardfn est6 conectada a la

entrada del agua. Revise que la manguera de alta presibn est6

conectada a la pistola de rociado y a la bomba. Dele arranque

al motor.

Aplique el detergente sobre la superfide seca, comenzando en

_aparte inferior de__rea y dirigi_ndose hacia arriba, utilizando

movimientos _argos, pareios y superpuestos.

Permita que el detergente "penetre" de 3 a 5 minutos antes

de enjuagar. Vuelva a aplicarlo cuando sea necesario para

evitar que la superficie se seque. No permita que e_

detergente se seque. Si permite que e_detergente se seque, _a

superficie podrla quedar con manchas.

INPORTANTE: Usted deber_ lavar el sistema de inyecci6n de

quimicos despu_s de cada uso colocando el filtro en un balde de

agua limpia y haciendo funcionar la m_quina lavadora a presibn de

I a 2 minutos en el modo de baia presi6n.

Enjuage de la Mgquina Lavadora a

Presi6n

_hL ADVERTENCIA! Seaextremadamente cuidadoso siusala m_quinalavadora a presi6n desde unaescalera,

andamio o cualquier superficie relativamente inestable.La

presi6n de una mgquinalavadora en funcionamiento se

acumula a medidaque usted sube. Cuando oprima el

gatillo, la fuerza de reaccibn del rociado inicialpodrla

hacerlo caer.El rociado de la alta presibn podria hacerlo

caer si est_ muy cerca de la superficie de limpieza.

Para Enjuage:

Deslice la boquillahaciaatrLsala presibnaltay apriete el

disparadonUevark un pocossegundosparael detergente adaro.

NOTA: Tambi_n puede detener la circulacibn del detergente

retirando el tubo de succi6n del recipiente.

Mantenga la pistola de rociado a una distancia segura del grea

que planea rociar.

Aplique un rociado de alta presi6n en un grea pequeha,

despu6s revise si la superficie presenta dahos. Si no encuentra

da_os, puede continuar con el trabajo de limpieza.

Comience en la parte superior del grea que va a enjuagar,

dirigi6ndose haciaabajo con losmismos movimientos

superpuestos que utiliz6 para el limpieza.

Sistema de Enfriamiento

Automgtico (Alivio T rmico)

Elaguaque circula dentro de la bomba puede alcanzar

temperaturas entre los 140-145°F si hace funcionar el motor de

su m_quinalavadora a presibn de 3 a5 minutos sin oprimir el

gatillo de la pistola de rociado. Cuando el aguaalcanzadicha

temperatura, el sistema de enfriamiento autom_tico seactiva y

enfrta la bomba descargando agua caliente en el piso. Este

sistemaevita el da_o interno de la bomba.

RECOMENDACIONES

G EN ERALES

La garanttade la m_quina lavadoraa presi6n no cubre los

elementos que bansido sujetos a abuso o negligencia por parte

del operador. Para hacer v_lida la cobertura total de la garantia, el

operador deber_ mantener la lavadorade presi6n tal y como se

indica en el manual.

Algunos ajustes tendr_n que hacerse peri6dicamente para

mantener adecuadamente su m_quina lavadora a presi6n.

Todos los servicios y ajustesdeber_n hacersepor Io menos

unavez en cadaestaci6n.

Una vezal afro, usted deber_ limpiar o remplazar la bujla y el

filtro de aire. Una bujia nuevay un flltro de aire limpio

garantizan unamezcla de combustible-aire adecuaday le ayuda

a su motor a funcionar mejor y a tener unavida _til m_s

prolongada. Por favor, para mayores detalles, consulte el

manual del propietario del motor.

El inflado apropiado de la Ilanta la distancia que opera debe

ser 15-40PSI.

Antes de Cada Uso

Revise el nivel de aceite del motor.

Revise si existen dafos en el colador de la entrada de agua.

Revise si existen dafos en el filtro en linea.

Revise si existen fugas en la manguera de alta presi6n.

Revise si existen dafos en los flltros de quimicos.

Revise si existen fugas en el conjunto de la extensi6n para

boquillas y pistola.

Elimine el aire y los contaminantes de la bomba.

MANTENIMIENTO DE LA

MAQUINA LAVADORA A

PRESION

Revise y Limpie el Colador de

Entrada

Examine el colador de entrada de la manguera de jardin. Ltmpielo

si est_ tapado o remplacelo si est_ roto.

Revise la Manguera de Alta Presi6n

Las mangueras de alta presi6n pueden desarrollar fugas debido al

desgaste, dobleces o abuso. Revise la manguera antes de cada uso.

Revise si existen cortes, fugas, abrasiones, levantamiento de la cubierta,

daffo o movimiento de los acoplarnientos. Si existe cualquiera de estas

condiciones, remplace la manguera inmediatamente.

_IL PRECAUCION! Nunca repare la manguera de alta

presi6n. Remplacelacon una mangueraque cumpla con la

capacidadminima de presi6n de sum_quina lavadoraa

presi6n.

Chequee el Tubo de Sif6n del

Detergente

Examine el flltro en el tubo del detergente y llmpielo si se

encuentra sucio. El tubo deberia quedar apretado en la pieza.

Examine el tubo para ver si existe cualquier tipo de goteo o est_

roto. Reemplace el filtro o el tubo si alguno de ellos se encuentra

dafado.

Limpiando el Tubo

Si usted us6 el tubo, usted debe lavarlo con agua limpia antes de

parar el motor.

Coloque el filtro y la inyecci6n qulmica en un balde lleno de

agua limpia.

Deslice boquilla ajustable hacia adelante al modo bajo de la

presi6n.

Lave de I a 2 minutos.

Apague el motor.

IMPOI_rANTI=: Apagando el motor, simplemente no soltar_ la

presi6n en el sistema. Cuando el motor se ha apagado,

apriete el gatillo en la pistola rociadora para deshacerse

de la presi6n en la manguera.

Revise la Pistola y la Extensi6n para

Boquillas

Examine la conexi6n de la manguera a la pistola y cerciorese de

que est_ en buen estado. Pruebe el gatillo oprimi_ndolo y

asegur_ndose de que se devuelve a su sitio cuando Io suelte.

Coloque el cerrojo de seguridad y pruebe el gatillo. Usted no

debe ser capaz de oprimir el gatillo. Remplace la pistola

inmediatamente si falla cualquiera de estas pruebas.

Revise el Filtro en Linea

Consulte la Figura 44 y suministre servicio al filtro en linea si se

tapa siguiendo estos pasos:

I. Retire lapistola y la extensi6n para boquillas de lamanguera

de alta presi6n. Retire la extensi6n para boquillas de la

pistola y retire el anillo 'o' y el colador de la extensi6n para

boquillas. Laveel colador, pistola y extensi6n para boquillas

con agualimpiapara eliminar toda clasede residuos.

2. Si el colador est_ dafiado, encontrar_ un colador para el

filtro en llnea y un anillo 'o' de repuesto en el iuego de

anillos 'o'. Si no est_ dafado, vuelva a usarlo.

3. Coloque el colador del filtro en llnea en el extremo con

rosca de la extensi6n para boquillas. Sudirecci6n no

importa. Coloque el colador ejerciendo presi6n con el

borrador de un Igpiz hastaque seasiente por completo en el

fondo de la abertura. Tengacuidado de no doblar el colador.

4. Coloque el anillo 'o' en la ranura respectiva. Empuie el anillo

'o' hastaque quede ajustado contra el colador del filtro en

llnea.

5. Conecte la extensi6n para boquillas a la pistola de rociado de

la manera descrita anteriormente en este manual.

Elimine el Aire y los Contaminantes

de la Bomba

Para retirar el aire de la bomba, siga los siguientes

pa$o$:

Instalela m_quina lavadora a presi6n como est_ descrito en

"PreparandoEl Lavador A Alta Presi6n Para SuUso".

Conecte el abastecimiento de aguay prenda agua.

Estire el disparador en el fusil del rocio y el asidero.

Cu_ndo el aguaesconstante y constante, compromete el

picaporte de la seguridad.

Para retirar los contaminantes de la bomba, siga los

siguientes pasos:

Instalela m_quina lavadora a presi6n como est_ descrito en

"PreparandoEl Lavador A Alta Presi6n Para SuUso".

Conecte el abastecimiento de aguay prenda agua.

Pongaen marcha el motor de acuerdo alas instrucciones de

"C6mo Darle Arranque a suM_quina Lavadora a Presi6n".

Quite boquilla la extensi6n del fusil del rocto.

Hale elgatillo de la pistola y mant_ngalo apretado.

Cuando el suministro de aguasea uniforme y constante,

enganche el cerrojo de seguridad y vuelva aajustar la

extensi6n para boquillas.

Mantenimiento de las Boquillas

Si siente una sensaci6n pulsanteal momento de apretar el gatillo

de la pistola rociadora, puede que seacausadapor la presi6n

excesiva en la bomba. La causaprincipal de la presi6n excesiva en

la bomba es cuando la boquilla seencuentra atascadao tapada

con materiales extrafos, tales como tierra, etc. Para corregir el

problema,limpie inmediatamentela boquilla usando las

herramientas incluidas con su lavador apresi6n y sigalas

instrucciones siguientes:

I. Apagueel motor y apagueel suministro de agua.

2. Separela extensi6n de la boquilla, de la pistola rociadora. Gire

la boquilla en direcci6n de las agujasdel reloj, a la posici6n

"stream" (chorro). Usando la Ilavede Allen de 2mm (5/64)

provista, remueva la boquilla del extremo de la extensi6n de la

boquilla (Figura 45).

3. Quite el en el flltro de la llnea del otro fin de la extensi6n de

boquilla.

4. Use el alambre incluido en el iuego (o un pequefio sujeta

papeles) para liberar cualquier material extrafio que est_

tapando la boquilla (Figura 45).

5. Usando una manguera de jardln, remueva cualquier desecho

adicional, poniendo agua en la extensi6n de la boquilla

(Figura 46). Haga 6sto de 30 a 60 segundos. Gire la extensi6n

de la boquilla ajustable a "stream spray" (chorro rociador) y

mueva la boquilla de "low" (bajo) a "high" (alto), mientras drene

el agua.

6. lnstale de nuevo la boquilla yen el filtro en-linea en la

extensi6n. No laapriete demasiado con la flare Allen.

7. Conecte de nuevo laextensi6n de laboquillaa la pistola rociadora.

8. Conecte de nuevo el suministro de agua,prenda el agua,y

enciendael motor.

9. Pruebe el lavador a presi6n al hacer funcionar la boquilla en la

posici6n "high" y "low" o con cada unade las boquillas de

Conexiones r_pidasque viene con el lawdor a presi6n,

Mantenimiento de los Anillos 'O'

Durante la operaci6n normal de su m_quina lavadora a presi6n

los anillos 'o' mantienen apretadas y libres de fugas las conexiones

de las mangueras y la pistola, ellos pueden desgastarse o daharse

con el uso.

Su m_quina lavadora a presi6n viene con un Juego de Mantenimiento

para anillos 'O', el cual contiene anillos 'o', arandela de caucho y un

colador de repuesto para la entrada de la manguera de iardin. La

nora que no todas las partes en el juego se usar_n en su unidad.

Para retirar un anillo 'O' desgastado o daBado:

Utilice un destornillador de cabeza plana pequeffo, col6quelo

por debajo del anillo 'o' y s_quelo haciendo palanca.

MANTENIMIENTO DEL

instrucciones de c6mo mantener adecuadamente el motor.

repetido de piel con aceite usado de motor. El aceite usado

PREPARANDO LA

UNIDAD PARA SU

ALMACENAMIENTO

El agua no debe permanecer en la unidad por un largo periodo de

tiempo. Los sedimentos o minerales se pueden depositar en las

piezas de la bombay "congelar" la acci6n de la bomba. Si usted no

piensa usar el lawdor a presi6n por mas de 30 dias, siga este

procedimiento:

I. Vacie el tubo de detergente, colocando el filtro en un envase

lleno de agua limpia mientras est_ corriendo el agua a baja

presi6n (la lanza ajustable en la posici6n hacia adelante). Lave

por I o 2 minutos.

2. Apague el motor y permita refrescar, entonces quita mangas

altas de presi6n y jardln. Desconecte el alambre de la bujla.

3. Vacie todos los liquidos presentes en la bomba, halando la

manecilla de retroceso hasta seis veces. Esto deberia

remover la mayor parte de los llquidos presentes en la

bomba.

4. El salvador de la bomba de la marca del uso Generac a

previene la corrosi6n construye y helado de bomba.

5. Almacene la unidad en un lugar limpio y seco.

Proteger la Bomba

A protege al PumpSaver de uso de bomba Generac a previene

congelar el daffo y lubrica _mbolos y sellos.

NOTA: El PumpSaver de Generac, el modelo numera 01559,

est_n disponible s61o como un accesorio opcional. No es incluido

con la arandela de la presi6n.

iPRECAUCI_N! Usted deber_ proteger su unidad de las

temperaturas de congelamiento. Si No Io hace, daffar_

permanentemente la bombay la unidad No podr_ funcionar. La

garantla no cubre el da_o de la unidad ocasionado pot

NOTA: Si el PumpSaver no est5 disponible, ponga anticongelante

RV (que no contenga alcohol) en la bomba, en una secci6n de
