MOVING YOUR APPLIANCE
If the appliance is turned off for any reason, wait for 10 minutes before turning it back on. This will allow the refrigeration system pressures to equalise
before restarting.
Turn off the appliance and unplug it from the mains socket. Remove all food. Also remove all mobile parts (shelves, accessories, etc.) or fix them into the
appliance to avoid any shock.
Relocate and install. If the appliance has been left on its side for any length of time, leave it standing upright for at least 10 minutes before turning on.
Your appliance uses isobutane (R600a) as a refrigerant. Although R600a is an environmentally friendly and natural gas, it is explosive. Therefore you
should be careful during shipment and installation to prevent your appliance’s cooler elements from being damaged. In the event of a leak caused by
damage to the cooler elements, move your appliance from open flame or heat sources and ventilate the room where the appliance is located for a few
minutes.

STORING FOOD IN THE FRIDGE COMPARTMENT
The fridge compartment helps to extend the storage
times of fresh perishable foods.
Fresh food care
For best results:
•
Store foods that are very fresh and of good quality.
•
Ensure that food is well wrapped or covered before it is
stored. This will prevent food from dehydrating,
deteriorating in colour or losing taste and will help
maintain freshness. It will also prevent odour transfer.
•
Make sure that strong smelling foods are wrapped or
covered and stored away from foods such as butter, milk
and cream which can be tainted by strong odours.
•
Cool hot foods down before placing them in the fridge
compartment.
Dairy foods and eggs
•
Most pre-packed dairy foods have a recommended ‘use
by /best before/best by/’ date stamped on them. Store
them in the fridge compartment and use within the
recommended time.
•
Butter can become tainted by strong smelling
foods so it is best stored in a sealed container.
•
Eggs can be stored in the egg tray of the fridge
compartment.
Red meat
•
Place fresh red meat on a plate and loosely cover with
waxed paper, plastic wrap or foil.
•
Store cooked and raw meat on separate plates.
This will prevent any juice lost from the raw meat from
contaminating the cooked product.
Poultry
•
Fresh whole birds should be rinsed inside and out with
cold running water, dried and placed on a plate. Cover
loosely with plastic wrap or foil.
Fish and seafood
•
Whole fish and fillets should be used on the day of
purchase. Until required, refrigerate on a plate loosely
covered with plastic wrap, waxed paper or foil.
•
Poultry pieces should also be stored this way.
Whole poultry should never be stuffed until just before
cooking, otherwise food poisoning may result.
•
If storing overnight or longer, take particular
care to select very fresh fish. Whole fish should be rinsed in
cold water to remove loose scales and dirt and then patted
dry with paper towels. Place whole fish or fillets in a sealed
plastic bag.
•
Keep shellfish chilled at all times. Use within 1 – 2 days.
Precooked foods and leftovers
•
These should be stored in suitable covered containers so
that the food will not dry out.
•
Keep for only 1 – 2 days.
•
Reheat leftovers only once and until steaming hot.

Vegetable and fresh fruit
•
The vegetable container is the optimum storage location
for fresh fruit and vegetables.
•
Take care not to store the following at
temperatures of less than 7°C for long periods:Citrus fruit,
melons, aubergines, pineapple, papaya, courgettes,
passion fruit, cucumber, peppers, tomatoes.
•
Undesirable changes will occur at low temperatures such
as softening of the flesh, browning and/or accelerated
decaying.
•
Do not refrigerate avocados (until they are ripe),
bananas, mangoes.
FREEZING AND STORING FOOD IN THE FREEZER
Using the freezer compartment
•
To store deep-frozen food.
•
To make ice cubes.
•
To freeze food.
Note:
Ensure that the freezer compartment door has been
closed properly.
Purchasing frozen food
•
Packaging must not be damaged.
•
Use by the ‘use by /best before/best by/’ date.
•
If possible, transport deep-frozen food in an insulated
bag and place quickly in the freezer compartment.
Storing frozen food
Store at -18°C or colder. Avoid opening the freezer
compartment door unnecessarily.

Freezing fresh food
Freeze fresh and undamaged food only.
To retain the best possible nutritional value, flavour and
colour, vegetables should be blanched before freezing.
Aubergines, peppers, zucchini and asparagus do not
require blanching.
Note:
Keep food to be frozen away from food which is
already frozen.
•
The following foods are suitable for freezing:
Cakes and pastries, fish and seafood, meat, game, poultry,
vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs without shells, dairy
products such as cheese and butter, ready meals and
leftovers such as soups, stews, cooked meat and fish,
potato dishes, soufflés and desserts.
•
The following foods are not suitable for freezing:
Types of vegetables, which are usually consumed raw,
such as lettuce or radishes, eggs in shells, grapes, whole
apples, pears and peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt,
soured milk, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
Packing frozen food
To prevent food from losing its flavour or drying out,
place food in airtight packaging.
1. Place food in packaging.
2. Remove air.
3. Seal the wrapping.
4. Label packaging with contents and dates of freezing.
Suitable packaging:
Plastic film, tubular film made of polyethylene, aluminium
foil. These products are available from specialist outlets.

Recommended storage times of frozen food in the
freezer compartment
These times vary depending on the type of food. The food
that you freeze can be preserved from 1 to 12 months
(minimum at -18°C).

Non-oily fish, shellfish, pizza, scones and muffins 3 months

Never forget:
•
When you freeze fresh foods with a ‘use by /best before/
best by/’ date, you must freeze them before this date
expires.
•
Check that the food was not already frozen. Indeed, frozen
food that has thawed completely must not be refrozen.
•
Once defrosted, food should be consumed quickly.
MAKING ICE CUBES
Fill the ice cube tray (not supplied) with ¾ full of
drinking water and place in the freezer compartment. If
the ice cube tray is stuck to the compartment, loosen
with a blunt tool only.
To loosen the ice cubes, twist the ice cube tray slightly
or hold briefly under flowing water.

DEFROSTING
Refrigerator compartment defrosts fully automatically
While the refrigerating unit is running, beads of condensation or hoarfrost from at the back of the refrigerator compartment.
This is normal. It is not necessary to wipe off the condensation or frost. The rear panel defrosts automatically. The condensation
runs into the condensation channel and is conveyed to the refrigerating unit where it evaporates.
Note:
Keep the condensation channel and drainage hole clean, so that the condensation can run out.
Defrosting the freezer compartment
The freezer compartment does not defrost automatically, otherwise the frozen food would start thawing.
A layer of frost in the freezer compartment impairs refrigeration of the frozen food and increases power consumption. Remove the layer of hoarfrost
regularly.
Do not scrape off hoarfrost or ice with a knife or pointed object. Doing this may damage the refrigerant tubes.
1. Remove the frozen food and place temporarily in a cool location.
3. To accelerate the defrosting process, place a pan of hot water on a stand in the freezer compartment.
4. Wipe up condensation with a cloth or sponge.
5. Wipe dry the freezer compartment.
6. Plugintheapplianceandadjustthetemperaturecontrolknobasdesired.
7. Put the frozen food back in the freezer compartment.
DOOR CONVERSION
If you need to hinge your fridge and freezer doors on the opposite side it is recommended that you call your local authorised service agent to make this
conversion or ask a technician. The below drawings are only for reference.
Before you reverse the doors, you should ensure the appliance is unplugged and empty. It is recommended to use a crosshead screwdriver and a spanner
(both not supplied).
2. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

Remove the right upper hinge cover and upper
hinge hole plug.
Remove the cylindrical light switch fixed on
the right upper hinge cover.

Remove the right upper hinge and door cover
hole plug.
Open the door cover hole plug, put the
wiring harness terminal of the door into the
door cover slot, and close the door cover hole
plug.

Lift the door upwards to disengage it from the
middle hinge, put the door to one side and lay it
down gently on a padded surface.
4 Remove left feet and right lower hinge.

Unscrew feet and then unscrew nut.
Remove the hinge shaft from the right
hole and insert it into the left hole. Tighten
the nut and then tighten the feet.
6 As indicated, move the lower hinge shaft from
the right hinge hole to the left hinge hole.
7 Reinstall the lower left hinge and feet at the
bottom of the cabinet.

Remove the stopper on the door cover, place
the stopper to the left side of the door and
secure.

Place the door on the lower hinge, making sure
to insert the hinge pin into the hole at the
bottom of the door, then place the supplied
upper left hinge on the door and fix the screws.

Open the door cover hole plug, remove the
wiring harness terminal of the door, and
connect with the wires in the cabinet one by
one, then cover the hole plug.

Install the supplied upper left hinge cover onto
the cabinet after installing the cylindrical door
switch and tighten the
screw.
12 Install the upper hinged hole plug to the right
side of the box and tighten all screws.

TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY
For the most energy efficient use of your appliance:
Ensure your fridge freezer has adequate ventilation as recommended in the installation instructions.
Allow warm food and drinks to cool down before placing in the appliance.
Thaw frozen food in the refrigerator compartment and use the low temperature of the frozen food to cool refrigerated food.
Keep door openings to a minimum.
Open the appliance as briefly as possible.
Ensure that the fridge and freezer doors are always closed properly.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.

Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
2.
Take out the food and store in a cool location.
3.
Clean the appliance with a soft cloth, warm water and detergent.
4.
Wipe the door seal with clear water only and then wipe dry thoroughly.
5.
After cleaning reconnect and set the temperature as desired.
6.
Put the food back into the appliance.
The LED light in the fridge compartment cannot be replaced by the user. If the
LED light stops working, please contact the local authorised service agent.
Cleaning Tips
•Remove all shelves, door shelves, vegetable containers, removable accessories (such
as egg tray and ice cube tray if included) and/or drawers from the appliance. Wash
them in warm soapy water with a soft sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
•Wipe the interior parts (including door switch, temperature control knob and lamp
cover) with a damp cloth soaked in a mixture of warm water and dishwashing liquid.
For stubborn stains, use baking soda.
•Wipe down the doors, including edges, with a microfiber cloth dampened with a mild
dishwashing liquid and water. Use a wet sponge and soft brush (such as toothbrush)
to remove any stuck-on food.

6. Conecte o dispositivo e ajuste o controle da temperatura conforme desejado.

Remova a tampa da dobradiça superior direita
e o orifício da dobradiça superior.
Remova o interruptor cilíndrico fixo na
tampa da dobradiça superior direita.

Remova a dobradiça superior direita e o
orifício da tampa da porta.
Abra o plugue do orifício da tampa da
porta, insira o terminal da fiação da porta no
slot da tampa e feche o plugue do orifício da
tampa.

Levante a porta para cima para desencaixá-la
da dobradiça do meio, coloque a porta para um
lado e deite-a suavemente sobre uma superfície
acolchoada.
4 Remova os pés esquerdos e a dobradiça inferior direita.

Desaparafuse os pés (2) e depois
desaparafuse a porca (3). Remova o
eixo da dobradiça (5) do orifício
direito (4) e insira-o no orifício
esquerdo. Aperte a porca e depois
aperte os pés.
6 Conforme indicado, mova o eixo da dobradiça
inferior do orifício da dobradiça direita para o
orifício da dobradiça esquerda.
7 Reinstale a dobradiça inferior esquerda e os
pés na parte inferior do gabinete.

Retire a tampa na tampa da porta, coloque a
tampa no lado esquerdo da porta e prenda.

Coloque a porta na dobradiça inferior,
certificando-se de inserir o pino da dobradiça
no orifício na parte inferior da porta, depois
coloque a dobradiça superior esquerda
fornecida na porta e aperte os parafusos.

Abra o bujão do orifício da tampa da porta,
remova o terminal da cablagem da porta e
conecte os fios do gabinete um por um,
depois cubra o bujão.

Instale a tampa da dobradiça superior
esquerda fornecida no gabinete após instalar
o interruptor cilíndrico da porta e aperte o
parafuso.
12 Instale o bujão do orifício articulado superior
no lado direito da caixa e aperte todos os
parafusos.

DICAS PARA ECONOMIZAR ENERGIA
Para o uso mais eficiente de energia do seu aparelho:
•Verifique se o seu freezer possui ventilação adequada, conforme recomendado nas instruções de instalação.
•Deixe alimentos e bebidas quentes esfriarem antes de colocá-lo no aparelho.
•Descongele os alimentos congelados no compartimento da geladeira e use a baixa temperatura dos alimentos
congelados para esfriar os alimentos refrigerados.
•Mantenha as aberturas das portas no mínimo.
•Abra o aparelho o mais brevemente possível.
•Verifique se as portas da geladeira e do freezer estão sempre fechadas corretamente.

LIMPEZA E MANUTENÇÃO
Não use produtos de limpeza abrasivos ou solventes.
1.Desconecte o plugue da tomada.
2. Retire a comida e guarde em local fresco.
3.Limpe o aparelho com um pano macio, água morna e detergente.
4. Limpe a vedação da porta apenas com água limpa e depois seque bem.
5. Após a limpeza, reconecte e ajuste a temperatura conforme desejado.
6. Coloque os alimentos novamente no aparelho.
A luz LED no compartimento da geladeira não pode ser substituída pelo
usuário. Se a luz do LED parar de funcionar, entre em contato com o agente de
serviço autorizado local.
Dicas de limpeza
• Remova todas as prateleiras, prateleiras de portas, recipientes de vegetais, acessórios
removíveis (como bandeja de ovos e bandeja de cubos de gelo, se incluídos) e / ou gavetas
do aparelho. Lave-os em água morna e sabão com uma esponja macia. Enxágüe e seque
bem.
• Limpe as peças internas (incluindo o interruptor da porta, o botão de controle de
temperatura e a tampa da lâmpada) com um pano úmido embebido em uma mistura de
água morna e líquido para lavar louça. Para manchas mais difíceis, use bicarbonato de sódio.
• Limpe as portas, incluindo as bordas, com um pano de microfibra umedecido com um
detergente suave para a louça e água. Use uma esponja úmida e uma escova macia (como
uma escova de dentes) para remover qualquer alimento preso.
