Install the power strip away from heat emitting appliances such as radiators or heat registers. Do not install where excessive moisture or other conductive contaminants are present. Never install electrical wiring during a lightning storm. 2) Connect AC Equipment to Your Power Strip Plug the AC power cords of your equipment into your power strip. Do not use extension cords or adapters that eliminate the connection to ground. DO NOT OVERLOAD your power strip. Each outlet can handle a load of up to the model’s amp rating, but do not exceed a total load of more than the model’s amp rating for all outlets. If the circuit breaker trips, outlets will cease to provide power. Reduce the load on the power strip down to your unit’s amp rating by unplugging excess equipment, then depress the circuit breaker button to reset and restore power. Surge Suppression (SPS model only) These power strips are also surge suppressors, providing 450 joules of surge suppression that protect connected devices from surges and spikes on the AC line. Lifetime Limited Warranty Installation 1) Connect Your Power Strip to Your AC Power Line PS and SPS models: Plug the power cord into a utility outlet. The power strip’s power cord should only be connected to a standard 3-wire grounded 120V AC 60 Hz outlet. INT Models: Plug a female IEC320 power cord (not included) into both the power strip and a utility outlet. The power cord should only be connected to a grounded 230V AC, 50/60 Hz outlet. The seller warrants this product, if used in accordance with all applicable instructions, to be free from original defects in material and workmanship for its lifetime. If the product should prove defective in material or workmanship within that period, Seller will repair or replace the product, in its sole discretion. Service under this Warranty can only be obtained by your delivering or shipping the product (with all shipping or delivery charges prepaid) to: Tripp Lite, 1111 W. 35th St., Chicago, IL 60609. Seller will pay return shipping charges. The warranties of all TRIPP LITE surge suppressors are null and void if they have been connected to the output of any UPS system. The warranties of all TRIPP LITE UPS Systems are null and void if a surge suppressor has been connected to its output receptacles. Instalación 1) Conecte el cable de contactos a la línea de suministro de corriente alterna Modelos PS-415-HG, PS-615-HG y SPS-615-HG: Enchufe el cable de corriente en una toma de energía eléctrica. El cable de corriente de la barra de contactos debe conectarse a una toma estándar de 3 hilos, conectada a tierra, de 120 VCA y 60 Hz.
