Ha optado por adquirir un producto de alta calidad. Las instrucciones de uso forman parte del producto. Contiene indicaciones importantes acerca de la seguridad, uso y evacuación. Antes de usar el producto familiaricese con todas las indicaciones de manejo y de seguridad. Utilice el producto como se describe y para los ámbitos de aplicación indicados. Guarde convenientemente estas instrucciones. Entregue todos los documentos cuando transfiera el producto a terceros. Cualquier modificación o utilización distinta se considera contraria al uso previsto y puede entrañar un riesgo considerable de accidentes. ¡No utilice este aparato para fines comerciales! Este aparato está equipado con una protección contra el sobrecalentamiento. Si el motor se calienta en exceso por sobrecarga, el aparato se desconecta automáticamente. En tal caso, proceda de la siguiente manera: Atención: Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe para evitar una reactivación accidental. Volumen de suministro Destructora automática (Accesorio de corte, contenedor grande/pequeño) Instrucciones de uso • Apague el aparato mediante el ajuste del interruptor u en la posición intermedia "OFF". • Vacíe los contenedores w/r. • Deje que el aparato se enfríe. • Vuelva a introducir la clavija de red en la base de enchufe. • Encienda el aparato mediante el ajuste del interruptor u en la posición "AUTO". Descripción de aparatos Figura A: q Accesorio de corte w Contenedor pequeño e Visor r Contenedor grande Tras 3 minutos de funcionamiento, recomendamos que se deje enfriar el aparato durante aprox. 30 minutos. -2- Indicaciones de seguridad importantes No inserte nunca el dedo en las ranuras de corte. Las indicaciones de seguridad mencionadas a continuación, se han de tener en cuenta en todo caso en el uso de aparatos eléctricos: • No coloque el aparato cerca de fuentes de calor ni de agua. ¡Existe peligro de incendio y de descarga eléctrica! • No utilice el aparato en lugares polvorientos o con riesgo de explosión (gases inflamables, vapores, vapores de disolventes orgánicos). ¡Peligro de explosión! • No utilice el aparato en la intemperie. ¡Esto podría estropear el aparato de forma irreparable! Mantenga el aparato fuera del alcance de los niños, ya que podrían lesionarse. • No inserte el dedo en el orificio central del disco CD cuando lo introduzca en el aparato. • Mantener el aparato fuera del alcance de los animales. Podrían resultar heridos. • No permita utilizar el aparato a personas (incluidos los niños) cuyas facultades físicas, sensoriales o mentales, así como su falta de conocimientos o de experiencia, les impida hacer un uso seguro del mismo si no están bajo vigilancia o han sido instruidos correctamente acerca del uso del aparato. • El material de embalaje representa un peligro para los niños. Elimine el material de embalaje inmediatamente después de desembalar o guárdelo fuera del alcance de los niños. • Coloque el cable de red de modo que no pueda tropezar o pisarlo. Para evitar el peligro de muerte por descarga eléctrica: • En caso de averiarse la clavija o el cable de red, encargue su reparación de forma inmediata a un técnico autorizado o al servicio de asistencia técnica para evitar riesgos innecesarios. • Si el aparato no funciona correctamente o está dañado, encargue su revisión y su reparación de forma inmediata a un técnico autorizado o al servicio de asistencia técnica. • No exponga el aparato a la lluvia ni lo utilice en lugares mojados o húmedos. • Preste atención a que el cable de red no se moje ni entre en contacto con humedad durante el funcionamiento. Para actuar de manera segura: • Coloque el aparato en la proximidad de una base de enchufe. No utilice ningún cable alargador. Asegúrese de que el aparato y la clavija de red sean fácilmente accesibles y que en caso de emergencia pueden alcanzarse sin problemas. • No sobrecargue el aparato. El suplemento de a destructora automática ha sido diseñado para tiempos de funcionamiento de corta duración. • En caso de peligro desenchufe inmediatamente el aparato. • Nunca utilice el suplemento de la destructora automática para fines distintos. • ¡Esté siempre alerta! Esté siempre atento a lo que hace y actúe con sentido común. De ningún modo debe utilizar el aparato si se encuentra desconcentrado o se siente indispuesto. Para evitar lesiones: • Manejar el suplemento de la destructora automática sólo por una persona respectivamente. • Nunca dejar el aparato desatendido durante el funcionamiento. Mantenga las prendas de ropa sueltas, el pelo largo, las joyas, etc. alejados de las ranuras de corte. -3-  Puesta en funcionamiento  Nota: debido a que todos los destructores de documentos se someten a una prueba de funcionamiento tras su fabricación, es posible que queden restos de papel en las cuchillas. Indicación: retire regularmente cualquier resto que quede en las cuchillas de corte con un objeto adecuado, por ejemplo, unas pinzas. Para ello, asegúrese de que la clavija de red esté desenchufada. Introducción de tarjetas de crédito: • Introduzca la tarjeta de crédito desde arriba en el centro de la ranura de corte para discos CD/tarjetas de crédito t. Solo puede cortarse una tarjeta de crédito cada vez. Introduzca siempre la tarjeta en posición horizontal (apaisada) en la ranura para discos CD/tarjetas de crédito t. De lo contrario, la banda magnética no se destruirá. • Coloque el contenedor pequeño w en los carriles del interior del contenedor grande r. • Monte el accesorio de corte q sobre el contenedor grande r de forma que el cable de red sobresalga por detrás. • Conecte la clavija de red en una base de enchufe. Manejo  Indicación: Introduzca la tarjeta de crédito siempre en la parte central de la ranura CD/tarjeta de crédito t. De lo contrario, no se iniciará el proceso de corte.  Indicación: Si el proceso de corte no comienza al introducir la tarjeta de crédito, empújela cuidadosamente con un objeto plano para introducirla más profundamente en la abertura de corte CD/tarjeta de crédito t.  Indicación: Si desea asegurarse de que la información de la banda magnética se destruya irremediablemente, introduzca la tarjeta de crédito en la parte central de la ranura de corte para papel y. Tenga en cuenta que, en tal caso, los restos caerán en el contenedor grande r. En caso necesario, vacíe este contenedor antes de usar el aparato para poder separar mejor la basura de papel de la de plástico para su reciclaje. ueden cortarse hasta 8 hojas (papel de 80 g/m2) al mismo tiempo. Atención: No inserte nunca papeles con clips de más de 25 mm en la ranura de corte, ya que pueden dañar la cuchilla de corte. Encendido del aparato: • Para triturar, ajuste el interruptor u en la posición "AUTO". Introducción del papel: • Introduzca el papel en posición vertical y desde arriba en la ranura de corte para papel y. El motor se enciende automáticamente y vuelve a apagarse automáticamente si no se introduce más papel. Pueden cortarse hasta 8 hojas (papel de 80g/m2) al mismo tiempo. Introducción de discos CD ¡Advertencia! No inserte el dedo en el orificio central del disco CD cuando lo introduzca en el aparato. -4- • Introduzca el disco CD desde arriba en la ranura de corte para discos CD/tarjetas de crédito t. Solo puede cortarse un CD cada vez. Vaciado del contenedor pequeño • Extraiga el accesorio de corte q del contenedor grande r. • Tire del contenedor pequeño w hacia arriba para extraerlo de los carriles del contenedor grande r y vaciarlo. • Vacíe el contenedor pequeño w y vuelva a montar todas las piezas. Solución de atascos: • Ajuste el interruptor u en la posición "REV" ("reverse" en inglés = retroceso) si se produce un atasco de materiales. Con esto, se activará el modo de retroceso y se expulsará el material por la ranura. • En cuanto el material salga del aparato, ajuste el interruptor u en la posición "OFF". Limpieza ¡Peligro! Antes de cada limpieza extraiga la clavija de red. ¡Existe riesgo de descarga eléctrica! Apagado del aparato: • Para apagar el aparato, ajuste el interruptor u en la posición "OFF". ¡Advertencia! ¡Las cuchillas de corte del aparato están muy afiladas! Peligro de lesiones! Vaciado de los contenedores Atención: No rocíe las ranuras de corte t/y con aceites ni lubricantes, ya que podrían dañar el aparato irremediablemente. • Vacíe los contenedores w/r regularmente. • Como muy tarde, vacíe el contenedor grande r si puede verse papel a través del visor e. • Deseche los restos de forma respetuosa con el medio ambiente. • Retire cualquier posible resto de las ranuras de corte t/y o de las cuchillas de corte con un objeto adecuado, por ejemplo, unas pinzas. Para ello, asegúrese de que la clavija de red esté desenchufada. • Limpie el aparato con un paño húmedo. En caso de suciedad persistente añada al paño un detergente suave. Vaciado del contenedor grande Atención: Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe para evitar una reactivación accidental. • Retire el accesorio de corte q del contenedor grande r. • Tire del contenedor pequeño w hacia arriba para extraerlo de los carriles del contenedor grande r. • Vacíe el contenedor grande r y vuelva a montar todas las piezas. -5- En caso de avería Atención: Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe con el fin de evitar un encendido involuntario. Si el material que se corta se queda atrapado en el aparato: Esto significa de que ha introducido demasiado papel (máx. 8 hojas de 80g/m2). • Coloque el interruptor 1 en la posición "OFF". • Deje que el aparato se enfríe. • Vuelva a introducir la clavija de red en la base de enchufe. • Para encender el aparato, coloque el interruptor 1 en la posición "AUTO". • Deslice el interruptor 1 a la posición „REV“, en caso de que se quede atascado el producto de corte. La marcha atrás está ahora encendida y el material que está cortando puede retirarse de nuevo. • Tire del material de corte fuera del aparato y coloque el interruptor 1 en "AUTO". • El aparato está ahora listo para su uso. Evacuación En ningún caso deberá tirar el aparato a la basura doméstica. Este producto está sometido a la directiva europea 2012/19/EU. Si el aparato se para de repente: Esto significa que el aparato se ha sobrecalentado y la desconexión de seguridad automática se ha activado. Evacue el aparato en un centro de evacuación autorizado a través de las instalaciones de evacuación comunitarias. Tenga en cuenta las normativas actuales en vigor. En caso de dudas póngase en contacto con su centro de evacuación. Atención: Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe con el fin de evitar un encendido involuntario. • Coloque el interruptor 1 en la posición "OFF". • Deje que el aparato se enfríe. • Vuelva a introducir la clavija de red en la base de enchufe. • Para encender el aparato, coloque el interruptor 1 en la posición "AUTO". El material de embalaje debe desecharse de forma respetuosa con el medio ambiente. Si no se puede encender el aparato: • Compruebe si la clavija de red se encuentra conectada a la base de enchufe. • Pruebe otra base de enchufe. • El aparato puede estar defectuoso. Haga revisar el aparato por personal especializado. • El aparato se ha sobrecalentado y se ha activado la desconexión de seguridad automática. Proceda ahora del modo siguiente: -6- Garantía y asistencia técnica Importador Con este aparato recibe usted 3 años de garantía desde la fecha de compra. El aparato ha sido fabricado cuidadosamente y ha sido probado antes de su entrega. Guarde el comprobante de caja como justificante de compra. Si necesitara hacer uso de la garantía, póngase en contacto por teléfono con su centro de servicio habitual. Éste es el único modo de garantizar un envío gratuito. La garantía cubre sólo defectos de fabricación o del material, pero no los daños de transporte, piezas sujetas a desgaste y los daños sufridos por las piezas frágiles p. ej. el interruptor o baterías. Este producto ha sido diseñado exclusivamente para el uso particular y no para el uso industrial. En caso de manipulación indebida e incorrecta, uso de la fuerza y en caso de abrir el aparato personas extrañas a nuestros centros de asistencia técnica autorizados, la garantía pierde su validez. Esta garantía no reduce en forma alguna sus derechos legales. Por el mero hecho de hacer uso de la garantía no implica la prolongación del período de válidez de la garantía. Ello rige también para piezas sustituidas y reparadas. Los posibles daños y defectos detectados al comprar el producto, se han de notificar de inmediato o como muy tarde dos días desde la fecha de compra. Finalizado el periodo de garantía, las reparaciones se han de abonar. Prima di utilizzare il prodotto, si familiarizzi con tutte le indicazioni relative ai comandi e alla sicurezza. Utilizzi il prodotto solo come descritto e per i campi di impiego indicati. Quando il motore si surriscalda a causa di sovraccarico, l'apparecchio si spegne automaticamente. Procedere in questo caso nel modo seguente: Attenzione: Estrarre la spina dalla presa di corrente per evitare un'accensione involontaria. • Spegnere l'apparecchio spostando l'interruttore u nella posizione centrale "OFF". • Svuotare i contenitori di raccolta w/r. • Fare raffreddare l'apparecchio. • Reinserire la spina nella presa. • Accendere l'apparecchio spostando l'interruttore u in posizione "AUTO". Consigliamo di far raffreddare l'apparecchio per 30 minuti dopo 3 minuti di funzionamento. - 10 - Importanti indicazioni di sicurezza Non inserire mai le dita nelle aperture di taglio. L'utilizzo di apparecchi elettrici prevede il rispetto delle seguenti avvertenze di sicurezza: • Non collocare l'apparecchio nelle vicinanze di fonti di calore o di acqua. Sussiste il pericolo di incendio e di scossa elettrica! • Non utilizzare l'apparecchio in ambiente polveroso o a rischio di esplosione (gas infiammabili, vapori di solventi organici). Pericolo di esplosione! • Non utilizzare l'apparecchio all'aperto. L'apparecchio potrebbe danneggiarsi irreparabilmente! Per evitare il pericolo di morte per scossa elettrica: • Fare sostituire immediatamente la spina o il cavo di rete danneggiato da personale autorizzato specializzato o dal servizio clienti, per evitare pericoli. • Fare esaminare e riparare immediatamente gli apparecchi non perfettamente funzionanti o danneggiati da personale autorizzato specializzato o dal servizio clienti. • Non esporre l'apparecchio alla pioggia e non utilizzarlo mai in ambienti umidi o bagnati. • Impedire che il cavo di rete si inumidisca o si bagni durante l'uso. Per evitare il pericolo di lesioni: • L'accessorio distruggidocumenti dev'essere utilizzato da una sola persona per volta. • Non lasciare mai l'apparecchio incustodito durante il funzionamento. Tenere lontani abiti larghi, capelli lunghi, gioielli e altri oggetti simili dalle aperture di taglio. Tenere i bambini lontani dall'apparecchio. poiché potrebbero riportare lesioni. • Non inserire le dita nel foro centrale del CD mentre lo si sta inserendo nell'apparecchio. • Tenere lontani gli animali dall'apparecchio, poiché potrebbero riportare lesioni. • Questo apparecchio non è indicato per l'uso da parte di persone (inclusi bambini) con limitate capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali o prive dell'esperienza e/o della conoscenza necessaria, a meno che tali persone non vengano sorvegliate da un responsabile per la sicurezza o abbiano ricevuto indicazioni sull'impiego dell'apparecchio. • Il materiale di imballaggio costituisce un pericolo per i bambini. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio immediatamente dopo l'apertura della confezione o tenerlo lontano dalla portata dei bambini. • Collocare il cavo di rete in modo che non venga calpestato o costituisca intralcio. Per un utilizzo sicuro: • Posizionare l'apparecchio nelle immediate vicinanze della presa di corrente. Non utilizzare un cavo di prolunga. Collocare l'apparecchio e la presa di corrente in posizione facilmente accessibile e raggiungibile senza problemi in caso di emergenza. • Non sovraccaricare l'apparecchio. L'accessorio distruggidocumenti è stato progettato per brevi periodi di utilizzo. • In caso di pericolo staccare immediatamente la spina dalla presa di corrente. • Non utilizzare mai l'accessorio distruggidocumenti in modo non conforme alla destinazione. • Agire con costante attenzione! Riflettere sempre su ciò che si sta facendo e agire in modo razionale. Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio senza la massima concentrazione o in caso di malessere fisico. - 11 -  Messa in funzione  Avvisio: poiché ogni distruggidocumenti viene controllato in relazione alla sua funzionalità dopo la produzione, potrebbe succedere che si trovino residui di carta nelle lame di taglio. • Far scorrere il contenitore di raccolta piccolo w sulle rotaie all'interno del contenitore di raccolta grande r. • Inserire il dispositivo di taglio q sul contenitore di raccolta grande r, in modo che il cavo di rete sporga indietro. • Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente. Inserimento della carta di credito: • Inserire la carta di credito dall'alto al centro nell'apertura di taglio per CD/carte di credito t. È possibile inserire solo una carta di credito per volta. Guidare sempre le carte di credito partendo dal lato più largo nell'apertura di taglio per CD/carte di credito t. In caso contrario, la striscia magnetica non verrà distrutta.  Suggerimento: Inserire sempre la carta di credito dall'alto al centro nell'apertura di taglio per CD/carte di credito t. In caso contrario, il procedimento di taglio non verrà avviato!  Suggerimento: Avvertenza: qualora, quando si inserisce la carta di credito, il processo di taglio non si avviasse, con l'ausilio di un oggetto piatto spingere quest'ultima con cautela più all'interno dell'apertura di taglio CD/carta di credito t.  Suggerimento: Se si desidera che le informazioni sui nastri magnetici vadano distrutte in modo irreversibile, inserire la carta di credito al centro nell'apertura di taglio carta y. Assicurarsi che i rifiuti cadano nel contenitore di raccolta grande r. Svuotarlo eventualmente prima per poter separare meglio i rifiuti di carta da quelli di plastica. Funzionamento Si possono tagliare fino a 8 fogli (carta da 80g/m2) contemporaneamente. Attenzione: Non inserire mai nell'apertura di taglio carta su cui sono applicate ancora graffette più grandi di 25 mm, che potrebbero danneggiare le lame. Accensione dell'apparecchio: • Spostare l'interruttore u per sminuzzare nella posizione "AUTO". Inserire la carta: • Inserire la carta verticalmente dall'alto nell'apertura di taglio per la carta y. Il motore si avvia automaticamente e si arresta automaticamente non appena si interrompe l'inserimento della carta. Si possono tagliare fino a 8 fogli (carta da 80 g/m2) contemporaneamente. Suggerimento: Rimuovere regolarmente eventuali residui nelle lame di taglio con un oggetto idoneo, ad esempio una pinzetta. Accertarsi di aver staccato la spina dalla presa. Inserimento del CD: Attenzione! Non infilare le dita nel foro centrale del CD mentre lo si sta inserendo nell'apparecchio. • Inserire il CD dall'alto al centro nell'apertura di taglio per CD/carte di credito t. È possibile inserire solo un CD per volta. - 12 - Rimozione del materiale incastrato: • Spostare l'interruttore u in posizione "REV" ("reverse" (inglese) = indietro) qualora il materiale da tagliare sia rimasto incastrato. In tal modo si aziona il movimento a ritroso e il materiale da tagliare viene fatto fuoriuscire nuovamente. • Impostare l'interruttore u in posizione "OFF" non appena ottenuta la fuoriuscita del materiale da tagliare. Svuotamento del contenitore di raccolta piccolo • Togliere il dispositivo di taglio q dal contenitore di raccolta grande r. • Sollevare il contenitore di raccolta piccolo dalle rotaie w tirandolo verso l'alto ed estraendolo dal contenitore di raccolta grande r per svuotarlo. • Svuotare il contenitore di raccolta piccolo w e ricomporre tutti i pezzi. Pulizia Spegnimento dell'apparecchio: • Spegnere l'apparecchio spostando l'interruttore u nella posizione centrale "OFF". Svuotamento del contenitore di raccolta • Svuotare regolarmente i contenitori di raccolta w/ r. • Svuotare il contenitore di raccolta grande r al più tardi quando si vede la carta nell'oblò e. • Smaltire i rifiuti in modo ecologico. Pericolo! Prima di pulire l'apparecchio, staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente. Sussiste il pericolo di scossa elettrica! Attenzione! I coltelli di taglio dell'apparecchio sono molto affilati! Pericolo di lesioni! Attention : Non spruzzare olio o altri lubrificanti nelle aperture di taglio t/y. Essi danneggerebbero irrimediabilmente l'apparecchio. Svuotamento del contenitore di raccolta grande Attenzione: Estrarre la spina dalla presa di corrente per evitare un'accensione involontaria. • Togliere il dispositivo di taglio q dal contenitore di raccolta grande r. • Sollevare il contenitore di raccolta piccolo w verso l'alto dalle rotaie estraendolo dal contenitore di raccolta piccolo r. • Svuotare il contenitore di raccolta grande r e ricomporre tutti i pezzi. • Rimuovere eventuali residui dalle aperture di taglio t/y o dalle lame di taglio con un oggetto idoneo, ad esempio con una pinzetta. Prima di compiere tale operazione, assicurarsi che la spina di rete non sia inserita nella presa elettrica • Pulire l'apparecchio con un panno leggermente umido. In caso di sporco resistente, versare un po' di detergente delicato sul panno. - 13 - In caso di guasti Attenzione: estrarre la spina dalla presa di corrente per evitare un'accensione involontaria. Se il materiale da tagliare resta incastrato nell'apparecchio: Significa che è stata inserita troppa carta nell'apparecchio (max. 8 fogli da 80g/m2). • Spostare l'interruttore 7 in posizione "REV", qualora il materiale da tagliare sia rimasto incastrato. In tal modo si aziona il movimento a ritroso e il materiale da tagliare viene fatto fuoriuscire nuovamente. • Estrarre il materiale da tagliare dall'apparecchio e impostare l'interruttore 7 su „AUTO“. • L'apparecchio è nuovamente pronto per l'uso. Se l'apparecchio improvvisamente si arresta: significa che l'apparecchio è surriscaldato e che si è attivato il dispositivo di sicurezza di spegnimento automatico. Attenzione: estrarre la spina dalla presa di corrente per evitare un'accensione involontaria. • • • • • • • • Portare l'interruttore 7 in posizione "OFF". Fare raffreddare l'apparecchio. Reinserire la spina nella presa. Accendere l'apparecchio spostando l'interruttore 7 in posizione "AUTO". Smaltimento Non gettare per alcun motivo l’apparecchio insieme ai normali rifiuti domestici. Questo prodotto sottostà alla direttiva europea 2012/19/EU. Smaltire l'apparecchio presso un'azienda autorizzata o presso l'ente comunale di smaltimento. Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore. Never use the appliance when you are distracted or don’t feel well. - 19 -  Commissioning  Take note: As every paper shredder is tested for functionality after manufacture, it could happen that paper remnants may be found in the cutters. • Push the small waste container w onto the rails inside the large waste container r. • Place the cutter attachment q onto the large waste container r so that the mains cable sticks out to the rear. • Insert the plug into a mains power socket. Inserting credit cards: • Insert the credit card from above into the middle of the CD/credit card cutter opening t. You can only shred one credit card at a time. ALWAYS insert these into the CD/credit card cutter opening t with the wide side first. If you do not, the magnetic strip will not be destroyed.  Note: Always insert the credit card into the middle of the CD/credit card cutter opening t. Otherwise, the shredding process will not start!  Note: If the shredding process does not start when you insert the credit card, carefully push the credit card further into the CD/credit card cutter t opening with a flat object.  Note: If you want to ensure that the information on the magnetic strip is irrevocably destroyed, insert the credit card into the middle of the cutter opening for paper y. Note that the residue will then fall into the large waste container r. if necessary, empty this beforehand in order to keep paper and plastic waste separate. Operation You can shred up to 8 sheets (80g/m2 paper) at the same time. Caution: Never feed paper into the cutter opening if it still has paper clips larger than 25 mm attached. These could damage the cutting blades. Switching the appliance on: • Move the switch u to the position "AUTO" to start shredding. Inserting paper: • Insert paper from above and in portrait format into the cutter opening for paper y. The motor starts automatically and switches itself off automatically if no further paper is inserted. You can shred up to 8 sheets (80 g/m2 paper) at the same time. Note: Regularly remove any residue left in the cutting blades with a suitable tool, e.g. a pair of tweezers. Ensure that the appliance is unplugged before doing this! Inserting a CD: Warning! NEVER insert your finger into the central hole of a CD when you are feeding it into the appliance. • Insert the CD from above into the middle of the CD/credit card cutter opening t. You can only shred one CD at a time. - 20 - Clearing a material blockage: • Move the switch u to the "REV" ("reverse") position if the material being shredded causes a blockage. The appliance now goes into reverse and the material that is being shredded is ejected. • Move the switch u to the "OFF" position as soon as the jammed material has been ejected. Emptying the small waste container • Remove the cutter attachment q from the large waste container r. • Pull the small waste container w upwards out of the large waste container r on the guide rails so that you can empty it. • Empty the small waste container w and then reassemble the components. Switching the appliance off: • Switch the appliance off by moving the switch u to the "OFF" position. Cleaning Emptying the waste containers Always remove the power plug before cleaning the appliance. There is a risk of receiving an electric shock! Danger! • Empty the waste containers w/r regularly. • Empty the large waste container r at the latest when paper is visible in the viewing window e. • Dispose of the waste material in an environmentally responsible manner. Warning! The cutters in the appliance are very sharp! Injury hazard! Attention: Emptying the large waste container Caution: Remove the power plug from the wall socket to avoid unintentional starting of the appliance • Remove the cutter attachment q from the large waste container r. • Pull the small waste container w upwards out of the large waste container r on the guide rails. • Empty the large waste container r and then reassemble the components. Do not spray any oil or other lubricants into the cutter openings t/y. These would irreparably damage the appliance! • Remove any residue left in the cutting openings t/ y or cutting blades with a suitable tool, e.g. a pair of tweezers. Ensure that the plug has been disconnected. • Clean the appliance with a lightly moistened cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth. - 21 - Non-functionality Attention: Remove the plug from the mains power socket to avoid an unintended starting of the appliance. If the material to be shredded jams: This means that you have inserted too much paper into the appliance (max. 8 Sheets 80g/m2). • Slide the switch 7 into the position "REV" should the paper to be shredded jam. The appliance now goes into reverse and the material to be shredded is returned. • Pull the paper to be shredded out of the appliance and then place the switch 7 at "AUTO". • The appliance is now once again ready for operation. • • • • Disposal Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the European guideline 2012/19/EU. If the appliance suddenly ceases operation: This means that the appliance is overheated and the automatic safety cut-out has activated itself. Benutzen Sie das Gerät in keinem Fall, wenn Sie unkonzentriert sind oder sich unwohl fühlen. - 27 - Inbetriebnahme   Hinweis: Da jeder Aktenvernichter nach der Herstellung auf Funktionalität geprüft wird, kann es passieren, dass sich Papierreste in den Schneidmessern befinden. • Schieben Sie den kleinen Auffangbehälter w auf die Schienen im Inneren des großen Auffangbehälters r. • Setzen Sie den Schneidaufsatz q auf den großen Auffangbehälter r, so dass das Netzkabel nach hinten ragt. • Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose. Kreditkarte einführen: • Führen Sie die Kreditkarte von oben mittig in die Schneidöffnung CD/Kreditkarte t ein. Sie können jeweils nur eine Kreditkarte schneiden. Führen Sie diese immer mit der breiten Seite voran in die Schneidöffnung CD/Kreditkarte t ein. Ansonsten wird der Magnetstreifen nicht zerstört.  Hinweis: Führen Sie die Kreditkarte immer mittig in die Schneidöffnung CD/Kreditkarte t ein. Ansonsten startet der Schneidvorgang nicht!  Hinweis: Sollte der Schneidvorgang nicht starten, wenn Sie die Kreditkarte einführen, schieben Sie die Kreditkarte mit einem flachen Gegenstand vorsichtig tiefer in die Schneidöffnung CD/Kreditkarte t ein.  Hinweis: Wenn Sie sicher gehen wollen, dass die Informationen auf dem Magnetstreifen unwiederruflich zerstört werden, führen Sie die Kreditkarte mittig in die Schneidöffnung Papier y ein. Beachten Sie, dass die Abfälle dann in den großen Auffangbehälter r fallen. Leeren Sie diesen gegebenenfalls vorher, um den Papierund Plastik-Müll besser trennen zu können. Bedienung Sie können bis zu 8 Blatt (80g/m2-Papier) gleichzeitig schneiden. Achtung: Stecken Sie niemals Papier, an welchem sich noch Büroklammern, die größer als 25 mm sind, befinden, in die Schneidöffung! Diese können die Schneidmesser beschädigen. Gerät einschalten: • Stellen Sie den Schalter u zum Zerkleinern in die Position „AUTO”. Papier einführen: • Führen Sie das Papier im Hochformat von oben in die Schneidöffnung Papier y ein. Der Motor startet automatisch und schaltet auch automatisch wieder ab, wenn kein weiteres Papier zugeführt wird. Sie können bis zu 8 Blatt (80g/m2-Papier) gleichzeitig schneiden. Hinweis: Entfernen Sie regelmäßig eventuelle Rückstände in den Schneidmessern mit einem geeigneten Gegenstand, zum Beispiel mit einer Pinzette. Stellen Sie sicher, dass dabei der Netzstecker gezogen ist. CD einführen: Warnung! Stecken Sie nicht Ihre Finger in das zentrale Loch der CD, wenn Sie diese in das Gerät einführen. - 28 - • Führen Sie die CD mittig von oben in die Schneidöffnung CD/Kreditkarte t ein. Sie können jeweils nur eine CD schneiden. Kleinen Auffangbehälter leeren • Nehmen Sie den Schneidaufsatz q vom großen Auffangbehälter r. • Ziehen Sie den kleinen Auffangbehälter w nach oben von den Schienen aus dem großen Auffangbehälter r, um ihn zu leeren. • Leeren Sie den kleinen Auffangbehälter w und setzen Sie wieder alle Teile zusammen. Materialstau beheben: • Schieben Sie den Schalter u in die Position „REV” („reverse” (englisch) = rückwärts), falls das Schneidgut stecken bleibt. Der Rückwärtslauf ist nun eingeschaltet und das Schneidgut wird wieder ausgegeben. • Stellen Sie den Schalter u in die Position „OFF”, sobald das Schneidgut ausgegeben ist. Reinigung Gefahr! Gerät ausschalten: • Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, indem Sie den Schalter u in die Position „OFF” stellen. Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker. Es besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages! Warnung! Die Schneidmesser des Geräts sind sehr scharf! Verletzungsgefahr! Auffangbehälter leeren Achtung: • Leeren Sie die Auffangbehälter w/r regelmäßig aus. • Leeren Sie den großen Auffangbehälter r spätestens, wenn Papier im Sichtfenster e zu sehen ist. • Führen Sie die Abfälle einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu. Sprühen Sie kein Öl oder andere Schmiermittel in die Schneidöffnungen t/y. Diese würden das Gerät irreparabel beschädigen. • Entfernen Sie eventuelle Rückstände in den Schneidöffnungen t/y oder den Schneidmessern mit einem geeigneten Gegenstand, zum Beispiel mit einer Pinzette. Stellen Sie sicher, dass dabei der Netzstecker gezogen ist. • Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch. Bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch. Großen Auffangbehälter leeren Achtung: Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, um ein unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten zu vermeiden. • Nehmen Sie den Schneidaufsatz q vom großen Auffangbehälter r. • Ziehen Sie den kleinen Auffangbehälter w nach oben von den Schienen aus dem großen Auffangbehälter r heraus. • Leeren Sie den großen Auffangbehälter r und setzen Sie wieder alle Teile zusammen. - 29 - Im Fehlerfall Wenn das Schneidgut im Gerät stecken bleibt: Dies bedeutet, dass Sie zu viel Papier in das Gerät eingeführt haben (max. 8 Blatt 80g/m2). • Schieben Sie den Schalter u in die Position „REV“, falls das Schneidgut stecken bleibt. Der Rückwärtslauf ist nun eingeschaltet und das Schneidgut wird wieder ausgegeben. • Ziehen Sie das Schneidgut aus dem Gerät heraus und stellen Sie dann den Schalter u auf „AUTO“. • Das Gerät ist nun wieder betriebsbereit. Achtung: Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, um ein unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten zu vermeiden. • Stellen Sie den Schalter u in die Position „OFF”. • Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen. • Stecken Sie den Netzstecker wieder in die Steckdose. • Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Schalter u in die Position „AUTO“ stellen. Entsorgen Wenn das Gerät plötzlich stehen bleibt: Dies bedeutet, dass das Gerät überhitzt ist und sich die automatische Sicherheitsabschaltung aktiviert hat. Achtung: Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, um ein unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten zu vermeiden. • Stellen Sie den Schalter u in die Position „OFF”. • Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen. • Stecken Sie den Netzstecker wieder in die Steckdose. • Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Schalter u in die Position „AUTO“ stellen. Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU. Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung. Führen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu. Wenn sich das Gerät nicht einschalten lässt: • Überprüfen Sie, ob sich der Netzstecker in der Steckdose befindet. • Probieren Sie eine andere Steckdose aus. • Das Gerät ist eventuell defekt. Lassen Sie das Gerät von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen. • Das Gerät ist überhitzt und die automatische Sicherheitsabschaltung ist aktiviert. Gehen Sie dann wie folgt vor: - 30 - Garantie und Service Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Das Gerät wurde sorgfältig produziert und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
