EINFÜHRUNG
Die Line Isolation Box iller ist eingangsseitig mit einer Combo-Buchse ausgestattet, die mit einem XLR- oder 6,3
mm Klinkenstecker belegbar ist. Der Eingang erlaubt den Anschluss von Zuspielgeräten mit symmetrischen
oder unsymmetrischen Anschlüssen. Der symmetrische Line-Ausgang ist mit einer männlichen XLR-Buchse
ausgestattet. Zwischen Ein- und Ausgang besteht eine galvanische Trennung durch einen hochwertigen Über-
trager. Mit Hilfe des Ground Lift-Schalters zum Trennen der Masseverbindung von Ein- und Ausgang werden
Brummschleifen und andere Störsignale wirkungsvoll beseitigt. Audiosignale können mit Hilfe der Line Isolation
Box außerdem über weite Kabelwege brummfrei übertragen werden.

ANSCHLÜSSE
1. INPUT
Line-Eingang mit Combo-Buchse (XLR / 6,3 mm Klinke), der sowohl für unsymmetrische als auch für symmetrische
Verkabelung geeignet ist. Verwenden Sie ein abgeschirmtes Audiokabel, um beispielsweise ein Keyboard an der
Line Isolation Box anzuschließen.
2. OUTPUT
Symmetrischer Line-Ausgang mit 3-Pol XLR-Buchse. Verwenden Sie ein abgeschirmtes Audiokabel, um die Line
Isolation Box an einen symmetrischen Eingang eines Mischpults oder Audio-Interfaces anzuschließen.
3. LIFT / GND
Schalter zum Trennen der Masseverbindung von Ein- und Ausgang (Ground Lift). In der nicht gedrückten Position ist
die Masseverbindung getrennt, die Verbindung besteht bei gedrückter Position. Die Fähigkeit, mit Hilfe des Ground
Lift-Schalters eine Brummschleife zu verhindern, hängt von der Erdung der angeschlossenen Geräte ab. Es besteht
daher die Möglichkeit, dass sowohl die eine, als auch die andere Schalterposition in der Lage ist, ein Brummen
wirkungsvoll zu reduzieren bzw. zu beseitigen.
ACHTUNG: Das Anschließen von Signalkabeln kann zu erheblichen Störgeräuschen führen. Achten
Sie darauf, dass Eingangskanäle von Mischpulten und Audio-Interfaces usw. bei Steckvorgängen
stummgeschaltet sind. Andernfalls können Pegel von Störgeräuschen zu Schäden führen.
HINWEIS: Starke Magnetfelder können Brummen verursachen. Positionieren Sie die Line Isolation Box daher nicht in
der Nähe von starken Magnetfeldern (z.B. Netztrafo).

INTRODUCTION
The iller Line Isolation Box is equipped with a combo socket on the input side, which can be assigned with an
XLR or 6.3 mm jack plug. The input allows the connection of playback devices with balanced or unbalanced
connections. The balanced line output is equipped with a male XLR socket. There is galvanic isolation between
input and output by means of a high-quality transformer. With the help of the ground lift switch to disconnect
the ground connection of input and output, hum loops and other interfering signals are effectively eliminated.
Audio signals can also be transmitted hum-free over long cable runs with the help of the iller.

CONNECTIONS
1. INPUT
Line input with combo jack (XLR / 6.3 mm jack) suitable for both unbalanced and balanced cabling.
Use a shielded audio cable to connect, for example, a keyboard to the Line Isolation Box.
2. OUTPUT
Balanced line-out via 3-pin XLR jack. Use a shielded audio cable to connect the Line Isolation Box to a balanced
input of a mixing console or audio interface.
3. LIFT / GND
Switch for disconnecting the ground connection from the input and output (ground lift). In the non-pressed position,
the ground connection is disconnected; the connection is established when the switch is pressed. The ability
to prevent a humming loop using the ground lift switch depends on the grounding of the connected device. It is
therefore possible that the switch is able to effectively reduce or eliminate humming when it is either up or down,
depending on circumstances.
CAUTION: Connecting signal cables can cause considerable noise. Please make sure that the input
channels of mixing console and audio interfaces, etc. are muted when plugged in. Otherwise, noise
levels may cause damage.
NOTE: Strong magnetic elds can cause humming. Therefore, do not position the Line Isolation Box near
strong magnetic elds (e.g. mains transformer).

COLLEGAMENTI
1. INPUT
Ingresso di linea con jack combo (XLR / jack da 6,3mm) adatto a cablaggi bilanciati e non bilanciati.
Utilizzare un cavo audio schermato per collegare, ad esempio, una tastiera al modulo di isolamento di linea.
2. OUTPUT
Uscita di linea bilanciata attraverso jack XLR a 3pin. Utilizzare un cavo audio schermato per collegare il modulo
di isolamento di linea a un ingresso bilanciato di una consolle di mixaggio o di un’interfaccia audio.
3. LIFT / GND
Interruttore per scollegare il collegamento a terra dall’ingresso e dall’uscita (ground lift). In posizione non premuta,
il collegamento a terra è scollegato; il collegamento si stabilisce premendo l’interruttore. La possibilità di evitare il
brusio di massa quando si utilizza l’interruttore ground lift dipende dalla messa a terra del dispositivo collegato.
È quindi possibile che l’interruttore riesca a ridurre o eliminare efcacemente il brusio quando è sollevato o abbassato,
a seconda della situazione.

INTRODUCTION
Le boîtier d’isolation de ligne iller est équipé d’une entrée sur embase Combo, compatible XLR/jack 6,35mm.
Cette entrée permet de connecter une source de signal audio dotée d’une sortie symétrique ou asymétrique.
La sortie ligne symétrique s’effectue sur une embase XLR mâle. L’entrée et la sortie sont isolées galvanique-
ment, grâce à un transformateur audio de haute qualité. Le sélecteur de levage de masse (Ground Lift) per-
met de couper la connexion de masse entre l’entrée et la sortie, ce qui élimine efcacement toute ronette ou
autres parasites provoqués par des boucles de masse (notamment ceux issus de l’ordinateur). Le boîtier d’iso-
lation de ligne iller permet également de transporter des signaux audio sur de grandes longueurs de liaison
sans ronette ni parasites.

CONNEXIONS
1. INPUT
Entrée ligne sur embase Combo (XLR / jack 6,35mm) compatible symétrique/asymétrique. Utilisez un câble audio
blindé pour connecter, par exemple, un clavier au boîtier d’isolation de ligne.
2. OUTPUT
Sortie ligne symétrique sur embase XLR 3 points. Utilisez un câble audio blindé pour raccorder le boîtier d’isolation
de ligne à l’entrée symétrique d’une console de mixage ou d’une interface audio.
3. LIFT / GND
Sélecteur de levage de masse, permettant d’interrompre la liaison de masse entre l’entrée et de la sortie (Ground
Lift). En position non enfoncée, la connexion masse audio/terre du châssis/secteur est interrompue ; elle est établie
lorsque le sélecteur est enfoncé. Selon que l’appareil connecté est relié à la terre ou non, le sélecteur de levage de
masse (Ground Lift) peut permettre d’éviter des ronettes (boucles de masse). Selon le cas, la réduction/élimination
de ronettes peut survenir lorsque le sélecteur se trouve en position haute ou basse.
ATTENTION : L’insertion d’un connecteur dans l’embase peut provoquer un bruit parasite de fort niveau.
Veuillez vous assurer que les canaux d’entrée (table de mixage, interface audio, etc.) sont coupés (Mute)
lors de la connexion. Dans le cas contraire, les bruits parasites de niveau élevé survenant lors de l’insertion
des connecteurs peuvent endommager vos enceintes ou d’autres appareils.
REMARQUE : Les champs magnétiques intenses peuvent provoquer des bourdonnements. Par conséquent,
ne placez pas le boîtier d’isolation de ligne à proximité de champs magnétiques puissants (par exemple, un
transformateur secteur).

INTRODUCCIÓN
La caja de aislamiento de línea iller está equipada con un conector combo XLR/jack de 6,3mm a la entrada.
La entrada permite la conexión de dispositivos de reproducción con conexiones balanceadas o no balanceadas.
La salida de línea balanceada es por XLR macho. Un transformador de alta calidad crea un aislamiento galvánico
entre la entrada y la salida. Con la ayuda del conmutador Ground-Lift se puede quitar la conexión a tierra de la
entrada y la salida, para así eliminar ecazmente los zumbidos y otras señales de interferencia. Con el iller, las

CONEXIONES
1. INPUT

aislamiento de línea a la entrada balanceada de una mesa de mezclas o de una interfaz de audio.
3. LIFT / GND
Conmutador Ground-Lift para quitar la conexión a tierra de la entrada y la salida. En la posición sin pulsar, la conexión
a tierra está quitada; la conexión se establece si el conmutador está en la posición pulsada. La capacidad de evitar
zumbidos con el conmutador Ground-Lift depende de la conexión a tierra del equipo conectado. Por tanto, es posible
que el conmutador reduzca o elimine ecazmente los zumbidos colocándolo en la posición pulsada o en la posición
sin pulsar, en función de las circunstancias.
PRECAUCIÓN: La conexión de los cables de señal puede provocar ruidos considerables. Asegúrese de

Izolator linii Iller jest wyposażony w wejściowe gniazdo typu combo, dostosowane do wtyków XLR lub jack 6,3
mm. Wejście umożliwia podłączenie urządzeń odtwarzających w sposób zbalansowany lub niezbalansowany.
Zbalansowane wyjście liniowe jest wyposażone w męskie gniazdo XLR. Między wejściem a wyjściem jest izolacja
galwaniczna za pomocą wysokiej jakości transformatora. Za pomocą przełącznika uziemienia, który rozłącza
połączenie masy wejścia i wyjścia, można skutecznie wyeliminować pętle szumów i inne sygnały zakłócające.
Dzięki illerowi można również przesyłać sygnały audio bez powstawania szumów na długich odcinkach kabli.

POŁĄCZENIA
1. INPUT
Wejście liniowe z gniazdem combo (XLR / jack 6,3 mm) odpowiednie dla okablowania niezbalansowanego i
zbalansowanego. Do podłączenia np. klawiatury do izolatora linii należy użyć ekranowanego kabla audio.
2. OUTPUT
Zbalansowane wyjście liniowe poprzez 3-pinowe gniazdo XLR. Za pomocą ekranowanego kabla audio podłączyć
Izolator linii do zbalansowanego wejście konsoli mikserskiej lub interfejsu audio.
3. LIFT / GND
Przełącznik do odłączania uziemienia od wejścia i wyjścia (podnoszenie uziemienia). W pozycji nie wciśniętej,
połączenie z masą jest rozłączone; połączenie zostaje nawiązane po wciśnięciu przełącznika. Zdolność do
zapobiegania pętli szumów przy użyciu przełącznika uziemienia zależy od uziemienia podłączonego urządzenia.
Jest więc możliwe, że przełącznik jest w stanie skutecznie zredukować lub wyeliminować szumy, gdy jest w pozycji
nie wciśniętej lub wciśniętej, w zależności od okoliczności.
