Before touching any wire, use a voltage tester to make sure

it is not live.

When replacing fuses, turn off the main power rst. Make

sure your hands and feet are dry, and place one hand behind

your back to prevent electricity from making a complete

circuit through your chest. Touch a plug fuse only by its

insulated rim. Remove cartridge fuses with a fuse puller.

Use tools with insulated handles and ladders made of wood

or

berglass.

To protect children, place a safety cover over any unused

outlets.

FIVE (5) YEAR WARRANTY

WHAT IS COVERED

The manufacturer warrants this xture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ve (5) years from date of

purchase. This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product

is found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the

manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modi

cations, alteration,

neglect, or mishandling. This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up, or used in any

way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of

an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship.

This warranty shall not apply to the

nish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal

wear and tear.

Read all instructions before installation.

To avoid damaging this product, place it on a soft, non-abrasive surface, such as carpet or cardboard.

IMPORTANT: Inspect the wire insulation for any

cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have

occurred during shipping. If there is a defect in the

Preparing for installation

Attaching the canopy to the outlet

box

ƶ Fasten the mounting bracket (AA) onto the outlet box using

two outlet box screws (BB).

ƶ Screw the threaded tube (II) into the mounting bracket (AA),

and secure it using the lock washer (HH) and hex nut (FF).

NOTE: This threaded tube (II) should extend long

enough to protrude through the canopy when it is

mounted. (Adjust as needed).

ƶ Place the canopy (A) over the threaded tube (II), and screw the

screw collar loop (EE) onto the threaded tube (II).

ƶ Secure the canopy (A) using the ring (DD).

Assembling the xture body

ƶ Guide the xture wire with bare copper ground wire

through the loop (C), and screw the loop (C) onto the top of

the

xture body (D) securely.

ƶ Install the light bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Use

three 60-watt maximum medium base (E26) type A bulbs.

ƶ Adjust the three arms on the

xture body (D) to make an

equal distance between them.

ƶ Insert the cap assembly (H) through the triangle frame (G),

glass shade (F), plastic wahser (KK) and metal washer (LL),

then secure with the

nial (E) (Do not tighten).

ƶ Align the end of the arms and holes of the triangle frame (G)

and tighten with knob nuts (JJ)

NOTE: Do not twist the xture wire.

NOTE: You can also use three 13W maximum medium

base (E26) SBCFLs (sold separately). Do not exceed the

recommended wattage.

Attaching the chain

Adjust the chain (B) to the desired height by spreading the end

link of the chain (B) apart. Use a pair of pliers and a

screwdriver. Wrap a soft cloth around the pliers to protect the

Preparar el montaje

Instalación de la cubierta de la caja

eléctrica

 Fije el soporte de montaje (AA) a la caja eléctrica usando los

dos tornillos de la caja eléctrica (BB).

 Enrosque el tubo roscado (II) en el soporte de montaje (AA), y

asegúrelo usando la arandela de presión (HH) y la tuerca

hexagonal (FF).

NOTA: El tubo roscado (II) debe extenderse lo

suficiente para sobresalir a través de la cubierta.

(Ajustar según sea necesario).

 Coloque la cubierta del ensamblaje (A) sobre el tubo roscado

(II), y enrosque gancho de sujeción (EE) en el tubo roscado (II).

 Asegure la cubierta del ensamblaje (A) usando el anillo (DD).

Instalación del cuerpo de la

lámpara

 Guie los cables de la lámpara conjuntamente con el cable de

cobre a tierra a traves de la argolla (C), y enrosque la argolla

(C) en el casquillo del cuerpo de la lámpara (D) firmemente.

 Instale las bombillas (no incuidas) en los enchufes. Use tres

bombillas de 60 watt como máximo de base mediana (E26)

de tipo A.

 Ajuste los tres brazos del cuerpo de la lámpara (D) para

establecer igual distancia entre ellos.

 Inserte el ensamblaje de la tapa (H) a traves del marco

triangular (G), la campana de vidrio (F), la arandela plastica

(KK) y la arandela de metal (LL), luego asegurelo con el

remate (E). (No apriete).

 Alinee el extremo de los brazos y los orificios del marco

triangular (G) y asegurelos con las tuercas decorativas.

NOTA: No retuerza el cable de la lámpara

NOTA: También puede utilizar tres bombillas

fluorescente compactas de 13 W máximo de base

mediana (E26) (no incluidas). No sobrepasar la

potencia eléctrica recomendada.

Colocación de la cadena

Entrelazar los cables

Separe o abra el último eslabón de la cadena (B) para ajustar

la cadena (B) a la altura deseada. Use un alicate y un

destornillador. Cubra el alicate con un paño suave para

protejer el acabado de la cadena.

Desenrosque el anillo (DD) del gancho de sujeción (EE), y

baje la cubierta del ensamblaje (A) y el anillo (DD) a travéz de

la cadena (B) de la lámpara.

Entrelace los cables de la lámpara y el cable de tierra a

travéz de la cadena (B), el anillo (DD), cubierta del

ensamblaje (A), gancho de sujeción (EE), tubo roscado (II), y a

la caja eléctrica.

Realizar la conección eléctrica

Pelar el aislamiento del extremo de los cables 3/4 pulgada y

tuerze juntos, utilizando el alicate, los extremos desnudos

de los cables del mismo color .

Conecte el cable brilloso/positivo de la lámpara con el cable

negro de la caja eléctrica, y el cable rugoso/neutral de la

lámpara con el cable blanco de la caja eléctrica.

El cable a tierra de la lámpara debe enroscarse una vuelta en

el tornillo verde a tierra (CC) en el soporte de montaje (AA)

antes de ser conectado al conductor a tierra del circuito de

alimentación

Cubra los extremos de los cables con los conectores (GG).

Cubra los conectores de los cables (GG) junto con los cables

utilizando la cinta aislante, e introduzca los cables

cuidadosamente dentro de la caja eléctrica.

NOTA: El cable brilloso /positive tiene texto impreso; el

cable rugoso / neutral tiene corrugaciones.

Abra el primer eslabón de enganche rápido (MM), conecte la

cadena (B) a la argolla (C) y cierre el eslabón de enganche

rápido (MM).

Abra el segundo eslabón de enganche rápido (MM), conecte

el otro extremo de la cadena (B) a la argolla roscada con

anillo (EE) y cierre el eslabón de enganche rápido (MM).

No use limpiadores con químicos, solventes ni productos abrasivos. Use sólo un paño suave y seco para desempolvar o limpiar con

cuidado.

Para limpiar la lámpara, primero corta el suministro de electricidad, apagando el interruptor automatico o retirando el fusible

correspondiente en la caja de fusibles. Seguidamente, usa un paño limpio, seco o ligeramente húmedo (usa sólo agua limpia, nunca

un solvente) para limpiar el exterior de la lámpara.

La bombilla está fundida. Reemplaze la bombilla.

La electricidad está apagada. Asegúrese deque el suministro de electricidad esté

encendido.

Interruptor defectuoso. Pruebe o reemplaze el interruptor.

El fusible se funde o el interruptor
