the factory. The range of the wireless doorbell can vary

This warranty does not include expendable items (such as light bulbs, batteries, etc.), repair service, adjustment
and calibration due to misuse, abuse or negligence. Unauthorized service or modication of the product or of any
furnished component will void this warranty in its entirety. This warranty does not include reimbursement for
inconvenience, installation, setup time, loss of use, unauthorized service, or return shipping charges. This warranty

Before installing the wireless doorbell strobe kit, ensure that all parts are present. Compare parts with the Hardware
Included and Package Contents sections. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install, or
operate this wireless doorbell strobe kit.

Installation

Installing the batteries
Ƒ Push the battery cover tab toward the
battery cover (1) and pull to remove from the
doorbell(A).
Ƒ Install three alkaline “C” batteries (not included)
into the doorbell (A). Ensure batteries are
oriented correctly.
Ƒ Replace the battery cover (1) onto the
doorbell(A).
NOTE: In typical use, alkaline batteries will last up to
one year.

Removing the battery tab
Ƒ Remove the back of the push button (B) by
pushing in the tab on the bottom with a small
screwdriver (not included).
Ƒ Remove the orange battery tab from the push
button (B).

Testing the push button and
doorbell
Ƒ Temporarily position the push button (B) where
it will be mounted.
Ƒ Press the push button (B) to verify the
doorbell(A) and push button (B) work properly.
Ƒ If the doorbell (A) does not sound, move the
doorbell (A) closer to the push button (B) and
test again.
NOTE: Do not permanently mount the push button until
the push button and doorbell are working properly.

Mounting the push button
Use either screws (BB) or double-sided tape (CC) to
mount the push button (B).
Ƒ To mount with screws (BB), remove the back
of the push button (B) by pushing in the tab
on the bottom with a small screwdriver. Place
the push button (B) back on the door jamb
and mark the two screw holes. Attach with
screws (BB) and snap on the front of the push
button(B).
Ƒ When attaching the push button (B) with
double-sided tape (CC), remove paper from
both sides of the double-sided tape (CC) and
apply to a clean surface.

Operation
1
Using the strobe light feature
The strobe light feature ashes each time the
doorbell(A) is activated. The number of ashes will
depend upon the tune selected:
Ƒ Ding (one note): 2 ashes - pause - 2 ashes.
Ƒ Ding-Dong (two note): 4 ashes - pause - 4
ashes.
Ƒ Westminster (eight note): 8 ashes - pause - 8
ashes.

Adjusting the doorbell volume
The doorbell (A) has an adjustable volume control
located on the side. Rotate the thumbwheel up or
down to adjust the volume.

Setting the wireless push
button
The wireless push button (B) has two options for tune
selection: Play the selected “FRONT” door musical
tune or play the “REAR” door designated tune (Ding).
Ƒ Remove the single jumper inside the push
button (B) to play the selected musical tune.
Ƒ Add the single jumper inside the push
button(B) to play only the Ding tune.

Selecting a tune
The doorbell (A) has different selectable tunes. The
push button (B) set as the “REAR” push button (B) will
only play Ding (one note tune). The push button (B) set
as the “FRONT” push button (B) will play either Ding-
Dong (two note tune) or Westminster (eight note tune).
Ƒ Press the “TUNE” button on the doorbell (A) until
a single “Beep” tone and one ash is played.
Ƒ Release the button.
Ƒ Listen or watch for the selected tune and strobe
ashes.
Ƒ Repeat until the desired tune with strobe
ashes is selected.
NOTE: All doorbell models are designed to work with up
to 10 wireless push buttons (sold separately).
NOTE: All doorbells are designed to play only two
different tunes no matter how many push buttons are used.

Care and Cleaning
Ƒ Use a dry cloth to clean the doorbell and push button.
Ƒ Do not use cleaners or polishes.
Ƒ Do not use any uids on the doorbell or push button.
Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The doorbell does
not sound or ash.
Ƒ The batteries are not
installed correctly.
Ƒ Make sure batteries are installed according to the
diagram inside the push button.
Ƒ The batteries are dead. Ƒ Check charge of push button battery and replace if
necessary.
Ƒ The push button and
doorbell are not synced.
Ƒ Sync the push button and doorbell.
Ƒ Press and hold the button on the doorbell until the
doorbell sounds a “Beep-Beep” and ashes twice.
Ƒ Press the push button within 30 seconds. The
doorbell will sound a “Beep-Beep” tone and ash
twice to indicate the push button is synced.
Ƒ Press the push button to ensure operation.
The batteries
seem okay, but
the doorbell does
not work after
installation.
Ƒ The doorbell or push but-
ton is mounted on metal
or near metal studs.
Ƒ Metal reduces transmission range. Use 1/4 in. to 1/2 in.
(6 to 13 mm) wood shims to move the doorbell or push
button away from the metal surface.
Ƒ The doorbell is mounted
near a concrete oor or
wall.
Ƒ Concrete may reduce range. Move the doorbell away
from the concrete surface.
Ƒ The doorbell and push
button are installed too
far apart.
Ƒ Locate the doorbell closer to the push button.
The doorbell
sounds and
ashes when not
intended (false
triggers).
Ƒ The doorbell is receiving
interference from another
wireless device.
Ƒ Reset the doorbell and push button.
Ƒ Remove the push button batteries. Wait 30
seconds.
Ƒ Press and hold the push button for 10 to 15 sec-
onds within 60 seconds after installing the battery
into the push button.
Ƒ Press and hold the button on the doorbell until the
doorbell sounds a “Beep-Beep-Beep-Beep” and
ashes four times.
Ƒ To re-sync the push button and doorbell, press and
hold the button on the doorbell until the doorbell
sounds a “Beep-Beep” and ashes twice.
Ƒ Press the push button within 30 seconds. The
doorbell will sound a “Beep-Beep” tone and ash
twice to indicate the push button is synced.
Ƒ Press the push button to ensure operation.

Instalación

Instalación de las pilas
Ƒ Empuje la lengüeta de la tapa de la pila
hacia esta tapa (1) y hálela para retirarla del
timbre(A).
Ƒ Instale tres pilas alcalinas tipo “C” (no
incluidas) en el timbre. Asegúrese que las pilas
estén orientadas correctamente.
Ƒ Vuelva a colocar la tapa (1) de las pilas en el
timbre (A).
NOTE: Con uso normal, las pilas alcalinas duran hasta
un año.

Retiro de la lengüeta de la pila
Ƒ Con un destornillador pequeño (no se incluye),
presione la pestaña en la parte inferior
del botón pulsador (B) para retirar la parte
posterior.
Ƒ Retire la pestaña naranja de la batería del
botón pulsador (B).

Prueba del pulsador y del
timbre
Ƒ Coloque temporalmente el pulsador (B) donde
será montado.
Ƒ Presione el pulsador (B) para vericar que el
timbre (A) y el pulsador (B) funcionen bien.
Ƒ Si el timbre (A) no suena, acerque más el
timbre al pulsador (B) y pruebe de nuevo.
NOTA: No monte permanentemente el pulsador hasta que
el pulsador y el timbre estén funcionando correctamente.

Montaje del pulsador
Use tornillos (BB) o cinta doble faz (CC) para montar el
botón pulsador (B).
Ƒ Para montar con tornillos (BB), presione
la pestaña de la parte inferior del botón
pulsador(B) con un destornillador pequeño
y retire la parte posterior. Coloque la parte
posterior del botón pulsador en la jamba de
la puerta y marque los dos oricios para los
tornillos. Fije con tornillos (BB) y coloque
a presión la parte delantera del botón
pulsador(B).
Ƒ Al colocar el botón pulsador (B) con cinta doble
faz (CC), retire el papel de ambos lados de la
cinta doble faz (CC) y aplique en una supercie
limpia.

Operación
1
Uso de la luz estroboscópica
La luz estroboscópica destella cada vez que el
timbre(A) es activado. El número de destellos
dependerá del tono seleccionado:
Ƒ Din (una nota): 2 destellos -pausa - 2 destellos.
Ƒ Din-Don (dos notas): 4 destellos-pausa - 4
destellos.
Ƒ Westminster (ocho notas): 8 destellos-pausa -
8 destellos.

Regulación del volumen del
timbre
El timbre (A) tiene un control regulable del volumen
y que está en la parte lateral. Gire la ruedecilla hacia
arriba o abajo para regular el volumen.

Configuración del pulsador
inalámbrico
El pulsador inalámbrico (B) tiene dos opciones para
la selección de tonos: Reproduzca el tono musical
seleccionado de la puerta “PRINCIPAL” o el tono
designado para la puerta “DE ATRÁS” (Ding).
Ƒ Retire el puente simple del interior del pulsador(B)
para reproducir el tono musical seleccionado.

Selección de un tono
El timbre (A) tiene diferentes tonos seleccionables.
El pulsador (B) congurado como pulsador (B)
“DE ATRÁS” reproducirá solo un Ding (tono de una
nota). El pulsador (B) congurado como el pulsador
“PRINCIPAL” reproducirá sea un Ding-Dong (tono de
dos notas) o Westminster (tono de ocho notas).
Ƒ Presione el botón “TUNE” (TONO) en el
timbre(A) hasta reproducir un tono simple de
“bip” y un destello.
Ƒ Suelte el botón.
Ƒ Escuche u observe el tono seleccionado y los
destellos estroboscópicos.
Ƒ Repita hasta que esté seleccionado el tono
deseado con los destellos estroboscópicos.
NOTA: Todos los modelos de timbres están diseñados
para funcionar hasta con 10 pulsadores inalámbricos
(vendidos por separado)
NOTA: Todos los timbres están diseñados para reproducir
solo dos tonos diferentes no importa cuantos pulsadores

Ƒ El timbre está montado
cerca de un piso o de una
pared de hormigón.
Ƒ El concreto puede reducir el alcance. Mueva el timbre
de la puerta lejos de la supercie de hormigón.
Ƒ El timbre y el pulsador
están instalados muy
separados entre sí.
Ƒ Coloque el timbre más cerca al pulsador.
El timbre suena y
destella cuando
no se lo requiere

Ƒ El timbre está recibiendo
interferencia de otro
dispositivo inalámbrico.
Ƒ Reposicione el timbre y el pulsador.

15 segundos por un periodo de 60 segundos luego
