Important cord information

This appliance has a polarized plug. To reduce the risk of electric

shock, this plug only ﬁts into a polarized outlet in one way. If

the plug does not ﬁt fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it

still does not ﬁt, contact a qualiﬁed electrician. Do not attempt to

modify the plug in any way.

a) A short power supply cord (or detachable power supply cord)

should be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming

entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord.

b) Longer detachable power supply cords or extensions cords

may be used if they are used carefully.

c) If a longer detachable power supply cord or extension cord

1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension

ance is intended for use in private households only. Do not use it

for commercial purposes.

Before ﬁrst use

1) Clean the appliance as described in the chapter on "Cleaning"

to remove transport dust. Dry it well.

2) Place the unit on a level and stable surface.

Using the appliance

Only use distilled water to make face masks!

1) Plug the connecting plug

3 into the socket  of the appliance.

2) Connect the power plug into a power socket. A beep will

sound and the indicator light

 will light up green, and then it

will ﬂash green continuously.

3) Slide the mask tray

! in front of the appliance so that the

notch at the edge protrudes underneath the appliance and

nestles around the curvature underneath the appliance (see

Fig. 1):

4) Open the ﬁll opening closure  by turning it slightly counter-

clockwise and lifting it (see Fig. 2):

Use the supplied measuring cup . to measure the liquid amounts.

5) Slowly pour in distilled water into the unit through the ﬁll

opening

. As soon as the required quantity (2 ﬂ oz [60 ml])

is reached, you will hear a beep and the indicator light  will

ﬂash red.

6) Add the nurturing liquid, such as fruit juice or milk (see chapter

about "Tips for face mask creation").

As soon as the required amount of liquid (an additional

0.8ﬂoz [25 ml]) is added, you will hear a beep and the

indicator light

 will light up permanently red.

7) Insert the collagen tablet

- through the ﬁll opening into the

appliance.

To order more collagen tablets -, please contact our customer service

department (see chapter regarding "3 year limited warranty").

8) Close the ﬁll opening

 by placing the ﬁll opening closure 

slightly oﬀset on the ﬁll opening : The latches in the ﬁll open-

ing  must slide into the recesses on the ﬁll opening closure .

Then, turn the ﬁll opening closure  slightly clockwise until the

ﬁll opening closure  closes ﬁrmly.

9) Press the "Start" button

. You will hear a beep and the indica-

tor light  will light up permanently green.

The appliance will start mixing and heating the ingredients.

If you remove the mask tray ! from the appliance during the preparation

of the mask liquid, you will hear the beeping sounds and the indicator

light  will turn yellow. Preparation of the face mask continues, but the

mask liquid is not dispensed. Dispensing begins only once the mask tray !

has been placed correctly under the appliance and the face mask has

ﬁnished mixing.

After about 6 minutes, the facial mask will be ready and the facial

mask will automatically run into the mask tray

!. The indicator

light  will ﬂash green continuously.

Preparation time can vary according to the starting temperature and type

of ingredients!

Approx. 20 seconds after the face mask is poured into the mask

tray

!, long beeps will sound. Disconnect the power plug from

the power socket.

10) Tilt the mask tray

! slightly to ensure optimal distribution of the

liquid.

11) If you want to make a refreshing face mask, carefully place the

mask tray ! in the refrigerator and wait for it to cool down.

If you want to make a warm face mask, wait about 5 minutes

until the mask has turned into a gel-like substance.

The gel setting time can vary greatly depending on the type of ingredients!

12) Carefully remove the face mask from the mask tray

!. To re-

move the face mask, place a teaspoon at the edge of the mask

tray !and gently lift the mask out of the mask tray !.

Test the mask ﬁrst in an inconspicuous location to test the compatibility.

13) Put yourself in a reclining position and tilt your head back.

Place the mask on your face. Start with the eye cutouts. Ensure

that your eyes ﬁt the holes in the mask. Proceed with the holes

for your nose and mouth in the same way. Ensure that you can

breathe freely (cf. Fig. 3)

14) Leave the mask on for 10 - 15 minutes, depending on your

personal preferences. Afterwards, simply remove it.

If you develop an unpleasant feeling during the application or your skin

starts to itch or burn, remove the face mask immediately. Rinse your face

with plenty of clean water!

The used face masks can be disposed of in normal household waste.

Cleaning

For hygienic purposes, you must clean the appliance after each use.

Disconnect the power plug from the power

socket and the connecting plug

3 from the socket  on the appli-

ance before any further cleaning.

Never immerse the appliance in water or

other liquids!

Allow the appliance to cool oﬀ slightly before

you clean it.

Do not use pointed or sharp objects to remove

cold collagen from the appliance!

Do not use chemical, abrasive, or aggressive

cleaning agents to clean the appliance!

■ Rinse the mask tray ! in warm water and add a mild deter-

gent.

■ Wipe the power cord with a damp cloth. Make sure the power

cord is completely dry before re-use.

■ Take the appliance apart for thorough cleaning (see Fig. 4):

– Remove the ﬁll opening closure .

– Press the lid release . The casing lid  ﬂips slightly

upwards.

– Remove the casing lid .

– Pull the motor unit

out of the casing

.

– Turn the casing  over and press the output unit release 

together. You can then pull out the output unit with the

output opening .

■ Wipe the motor unit , the ﬁll opening closure , the casing

lid

, and the casing  from the inside and outside with a

damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, add a mild detergent to the

cloth. For hard-to-reach corners, use the supplied cleaning

brush

0. Remove any detergent residue with a damp cloth

and water only.

■ To clean the drive unit thoroughly, disassemble it as illustrated

in Fig. 5:

– Turn the lower part (metal) of the drive unit clockwise

until the - mark on the lower part (metal) points at the

- mark on the drive unit .

– Detach the lower part (metal) from the drive unit .

– Rinse the lower part (metal) of the motor unit in warm

water and add a mild detergent. Rinse it with clean water

and dry it well.

– Wipe the plastic part of the motor unit

with a damp

cloth. For stubborn dirt, add a mild detergent to the cloth.

For hard-to-reach corners, use the supplied cleaning brush

Remove any detergent residue with a damp cloth and wa-

ter only . Make sure that the seal ring is properly placed in

the plastic part of the motor unit

(see Fig. 6)

– Put both parts back together so that the - mark on the

lower part (metal) points at the - mark on the drive unit .

Lock the parts by turning the lower part (metal) counter-

clockwise. Make sure you turn the lower part (metal) as

far as possible in a counter-clockwise direction to prevent

leaks.

■ Rinse the output unit in warm water and add a mild detergent.

■ Dry all parts well. All parts must be completely dried before

reassembling the appliance.

Take special care to ensure that the metal contacts on the drive unit and

inside the casing  are not damp. Dampness may cause the appliance to

malfunction!

Tips for face mask creation

Depending on the treatment purpose and skin type, you can make

your facial mask with various additives.

The following table gives you examples of various additives.

Please note that each skin type reacts diﬀerently to the additives.

If you want to obtain a particularly refreshing eﬀect, place the facial mask

in the mask tray ! in the refrigerator so that it becomes pleasantly cool.

If you want to use viscous additives, liquefy them with water prior to use.

Storage

■ Clean the appliance as described in the chapter on "Cleaning"

before storing it.

■ Store the device in a dry and dust-free location.

Disposal

You can dispose of used face masks in normal household waste.

Electrical devices may not be thrown away as part of normal

household trash. If you can no longer use your electrical device,

dispose of it in accordance with the legal provisions applicable in

your state. This will ensure that old electrical devices are recycled

and environmental pollution is kept to a minimum. Further informa-

tion about disposal is available on the Internet at www.epa.gov.

The packaging is made of environmentally friendly

materials which you can dispose of at your local

recycling centre.

3 year limited warranty

What does this warranty cover?

The warranty covers:

▯ Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.

▯ Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow

the safety and maintenance instructions provided in the user

manual.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

▯ Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts

(such as switches, glass, etc.);

▯ Improper use or transport;

▯ Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;

▯ Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, ﬁre, water, etc.);

▯ Tampering with the product (such as removing cover, unscrewing

screws etc.)

Antes del primer uso

1) Limpie el dispositivo como se describe en la sección "Limpieza"

para quitar el polvo del transporte. Séquelo bien.

2) Coloque la unidad sobre una superﬁcie nivelada y estable.

Uso del dispositivo

¡Use solamente agua destilada para hacer mascarillas faciales!

1) Conecte el enchufe 3 en el conector  del dispositivo.

2) Conecte el enchufe en una toma de corriente. Se produce un

sonido, el indicador luminoso

 se enciende en verde, y luego

parpadea en verde continuamente.

3) Deslice la bandeja para mascarillas

! frente al dispositivo, de

manera que la muesca del borde sobresalga por debajo del

dispositivo y se ajuste alrededor de la curvatura por debajo

del dispositivo (vea la Fig. 1):

4) Abra la tapa de la abertura de llenado  girándola ligera-

mente en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj y levan-

tándola (vea la Fig. 2):

Use el vaso medidor suministrado . para medir la cantidad de líquido.

5) Vierta lentamente agua destilada en la unidad a través de la

abertura de llenado

. En cuanto se alcanza la cantidad re-

querida (2 ﬂ oz [60 ml]), se escucha un sonido y el indicador

luminoso  parpadea en rojo.

6) Agregue el líquido nutriente, como un jugo de frutas o leche

(vea el capítulo "Consejos para preparar mascarillas faciales").

En cuanto se haya agregado la cantidad de líquido requerida

(otros 0.8ﬂoz [25 ml]), se escuchará un sonido y el indicador

luminoso

 se encenderá en rojo de forma continua.

7) Inserte la tableta de colágeno

- a través de la abertura de

llenado dentro del dispositivo.

Para ordenar más tabletas de colágeno -, póngase en contacto con

nuestro departamento de servicio al cliente (vea el capítulo "garantía

limitada de 3 años").

8) Cierre la abertura de llenado

 colocando la tapa correspon-

diente  ligeramente desviada en la abertura de llenado :

Los cierres de la abertura de llenado  tienen que deslizarse

dentro de los huecos de la tapa de la abertura de llenado .

Después, gire ligeramente en sentido de las manecillas del re-

loj la tapa de la abertura de llenado  hasta que la abertura

de llenado  se cierre ﬁrmemente.

9) Presione el botón "Inicio"

. Se escuchará un sonido y el indi-

cador luminoso  se encenderá en verde de forma continua.

El dispositivo comienza a mezclar y calentar los ingredientes.

Si retira la bandeja de mascarillas ! del dispositivo durante la prepara-

ción del líquido para la mascarilla, escuchará los sonidos y el color del

indicador luminoso  cambiará a amarillo. La preparación de la máscara

facial continúa pero no se libera el líquido de la máscara. La liberación

inicia hasta después de colocar la bandeja de la máscara !correctamen-

te debajo del dispositivo y hasta que se termine de mezclar la máscara

facial.

Después de unos 6 minutos, la mascarilla facial estará lista, y se

desplazará automáticamente a la bandeja de mascarillas

El indicador luminoso  parpadeará en verde de forma continua.

¡El tiempo de preparación puede variar según la temperatura inicial y el

tipo de ingredientes!

Aproximadamente 20 segundos después de que la mascarilla

facial se vierte en la bandeja

!, se oyen sonidos largos. Desco-

necte el enchufe del contacto.

10) Incline ligeramente la bandeja de mascarillas

!, para asegu-

rar una distribución óptima del líquido.

11) Si desea hacer una mascarilla facial refrescante, coloque con

cuidado la bandeja de mascarillas

! en el refrigerador y

espere a que se enfríe.

Si desea hacer una mascarilla facial caliente, espere unos

5minutos hasta que la mascarilla se convierta en una sustan-

cia con consistencia de gel.

¡El tiempo de ﬁjación de gel puede variar considerablemente dependien-

do del tipo de ingredientes!

12) Retire con cuidado la mascarilla facial de la bandeja

!. Para retirar

la mascarilla facial, coloque una cucharilla en el borde de la mas-

carilla !y levántela con cuidado para sacarla de la bandeja !.

Pruebe la mascarilla primero en una parte poco visible para probar la

compatibilidad.

13) Colóquese en una posición reclinada e incline la cabeza

hacia atrás. Coloque la mascarilla en su rostro. Comience con

los huecos para los ojos. Asegúrese de que sus ojos quepan

en las perforaciones de la máscara. Proceda de la misma ma-

nera con las perforaciones para su nariz y boca. Asegúrese

de poder respirar libremente (vea la Fig. 3)

14) Déjese puesta la mascarilla durante 10 a 15 minutos, de-

pendiendo de sus preferencias personales. A continuación,

simplemente retírela.

Si tiene una sensación desagradable durante la aplicación, o su piel co-

mienza a picarle o arderle, retire la mascarilla de inmediato. ¡Enjuáguese

el rostro con abundante agua limpia!

Las mascarillas faciales usadas se pueden desechar en la basura domésti-

ca normal.

Limpieza

Para ﬁnes de higiene, debe limpiar el dispositivo después de cada uso.

Desconecte el enchufe de corriente del

contacto, y el enchufe

3 del conector  del dispositivo antes de

realizar cualquier limpieza posterior.

¡Nunca sumerja el dispositivo en agua u

otro líquido!

spere que el dispositivo se enfríe ligeramente

antes de limpiarlo.

¡No use objetos puntiagudos o aﬁlados para remo-

ver el colágeno frío del dispositivo!

No use productos químicos, abrasivos o limpiadores

agresivos para limpiar el dispositivo!

■ Enjuague la bandeja para mascarillas ! en agua caliente y

agregue un detergente suave.

■ Limpie el cable de corriente con un paño humedecido. Ase-

gúrese de que el cable de corriente esté completamente seco

antes de volver a usarlo.

■ Desarme el dispositivo para limpiarlo a fondo (vea la Fig. 4):

– Retire la tapa de la abertura de llenado .

– Presione el botón de apertura de la tapa . La tapa del

gabinete

 se inclina ligeramente hacia arriba.

– Retire la tapa del gabinete .

– Saque la unidad motriz

del gabinete .

– Voltee el gabinete  y presione el botón de apertura de la

unidad de salida  juntos. Ahora puede sacar la unidad

de salida con la abertura de salida .

■ Limpie la unidad motriz , la tapa de la abertura de llenado

, la tapa del gabinete , y el gabinete mismo  por dentro

y por fuera con una tela húmeda. Para suciedad difícil, agre-

gue un detergente suave a la tela. Para las esquinas difíciles de

alcanzar, use el cepillo limpiador incluido

0. Quite cualquier

residuo de detergente con una tela húmeda y solo con agua.

■ Para limpiar la unidad motriz a fondo, desármela como se

ilustra en la Fig. 5:

– Gire la parte inferior (metálica) de la unidad motriz en

sentido de las manecillas del reloj hasta que la marca -

de la parte inferior (metálica) apunte a la marca - en la

unidad motriz

– Separe la parte inferior (metálica) de la unidad motriz .

– Enjuague la parte inferior (metálica) de la unidad motriz

con agua caliente y agregue un detergente suave. Enjua-

gue con agua limpia y séquela bien.

– Limpie la parte de plástico de la unidad motriz con una

tela húmeda. Para suciedad difícil, agregue un detergente

suave a la tela. Para las esquinas difíciles de alcanzar, use

el cepillo limpiador incluido 0. Quite cualquier residuo de

detergente con una tela húmeda y solo con agua. Asegúre-

se de que el anillo de sellado esté colocado correctamente

en la parte plástica de la unida motriz (consulte la ﬁg. 6).

– Vuelva a poner juntas ambas partes para que la marca -

de la parte inferior (metálica) señale hacia la marca - de

la unidad motriz . Asegure las partes girando la parte

inferior (metálica) en sentido contrario a las manecillas del

reloj. Asegúrese de girar la parte inferior (metálica) todo lo

posible en sentido antihorario para evitar fugas

■ Enjuague la unidad de salida

con agua caliente y agregue

un detergente suave.

■ Seque bien todas las partes. Todas las partes tienen que estar

completamente secas antes de volver a armar el dispositivo.

Tenga especial cuidado para asegurarse de que los contactos de metal

de la unidad motriz y dentro del gabinete  no estén húmedos. ¡La

humedad puede hacer que el dispositivo funcione mal!

Consejos para crear mascarillas faciales

Dependiendo del propósito del tratamiento y el tipo de piel, la

mascarilla facial se puede hacer con varios aditivos.

La siguiente tabla da ejemplos de varios aditivos. Tenga en

cuenta que cada tipo de piel reacciona de manera distinta a los

aditivos.

Si dese obtener un efecto particularmente refrescante, coloque la masca-

rilla facial en la bandeja para mascarillas ! en el refrigerador para que

adquiera una frescura agradable.

Si desea usar aditivos viscosos, licúelos con agua antes de usarlos.

Almacenamiento

■ Limpie el dispositivo como se describe en el capítulo

"Limpieza" antes de guardarlo.

■ Guarde el dispositivo en un lugar seco y libre de polvo.

Eliminación

Las mascarillas faciales se pueden eliminar como basura domésti-

ca normal.

Los dispositivos eléctricos no se pueden desechar como parte de

la basura doméstica normal. Si ya no puede usar su dispositivo

eléctrico, elimínelo de conformidad con las disposiciones legales

aplicables en su estado. Esto asegura que los dispositivos eléc-

tricos usados sean reciclados y la contaminación ambiental se

mantenga a un nivel mínimo. Puede encontrar más información

sobre la eliminación de desechos en Internet en www.epa.gov.

El empaque está hecho de materiales que no dañan

el medio ambiente, los cuales puede eliminar en su

centro de reciclaje local.

Garantía limitada de 3 años

La garantía incluye:
