SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Be careful with your operations. With a dangerous voltage you can suffer a dangerous
electric shock when touching the wires!
Keep away from heaters and other heating sources!
If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the
manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Shields, lenses or ultraviolet screens shall be changed if they have become visibly damaged to such an
extent that their effectiveness is impaired, for example by cracks or deep scratches.
Always disconnect from the mains, when the device is not in use or before cleaning it.
Keep away children and amateurs from the device!
This device is a spot designed for professional use on stages, in discotheques, theatres etc. this fixture
is only allowed to be operated with an alternation current of max. 230V/50/60Hz 50W and was designed
Lighting effects are not designed for permanent operation. Consistent operation breaks will ensure that
the device will serve you for a long time without defects.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operation the device.
When choosing the installation-spot, please make sure that the device is not exposed to extreme heat,
moisture or dust. There should not be any cables lying around. You endanger your own and the safety
determines the minimum distance from lighted objects. The minimum distance
between light-output and the illuminated surface must be more than 0.5 meter.

Operate the device only after having become familiar with its functions. Most damages are the result of
unprofessional operation!
Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are forbidden due to safety reasons!
If this device will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product may
suffer damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to
dangers like short-circuit, burns, electric shock, lamp explosion, crash etc.
Only install the lamp with the device switched off! Unplug from mains before!
The lamp has to be replaced when it is damaged or thermally deformed due to the heat!
Before replacing the lamp, unplug mains lead and let the lamp cool down (approx. 5 minutes).
During the installation do not touch the glass-bulbs bare-handed! Please follow the lamp manufacturer? s
Do not install lamps with a higher wattage! Lamps with a higher wattage generate temperatures the
device was not designed for. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty.
For the installation, you need one Cool-Beam 12V GX-5.3 lamp with up to max. 50W
Step 1: Open the housing cover by pulling the extension spring.
Step 2: If replacing the lamp, remove the old lamp from the lamp socket.
Step 3: Insert the new Cool-Beam 12V/50W GX-5.3 lamp into the spot.
Step 4: Close the device.
Please be advised that for proper use an appropriate safety transformer for 12V halogen lamps is

Installing
?
? The device should be installed outside areas where persons
may walk by or be seated.
? IMPORTANT! OVERHEAD RIGGING REQUIRES EXTENSIVE
EXPERIENCE, including (but not limited to) calculation working
load limits, installation material being used, and periodic safety
inspection of all installation material and the projector.
? The device has to be installed out of the reach of people.
? Before rigging make sure that the installation area can hold a
minimum point load of 10 times the device? s weight.
? DANGER OF FIRE! When installing the device, make sure
there is no highly inflammable material (decoration articles, etc.)
within a distance of min. 0.5 M.
? For overhead use, always install a safety-rope that can hold at
least 10 times the weight of the fixture.
? Adjust the desired inclination-angle via the mounting-bracket and fix the fixation screws.
Connection with the mains
? DANGER TO LIFE! The electric connection must only be carried out by a qualified electrician!
? In order to connect the device to the mains, you have to install a n appropriate transformer

After toy connected the device to the mains, you can control the device via your lighting controller
with a 12 V at least 60 W output (per PAR 16 spot)
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The operator has to make sure that safety-relating and machine-technical installations are inspected by an expert
after every four years in the course of an acceptance test.

1) All screws used for installing the devices or parts of the device have to be tighly connected and must not be
corroded.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
? PRECAUCION!
Tenga cuidado con el manejo de la unidad. Con tensión peligrosa puede sufrir descargas
eléctricas al tocar los cables.
Mantenga la unidad apartada de radiadores u otras fuentes de calor.
Si el cable externo de la unidad se daña, debe ser sustituido por el fabricante o distribuidor autorizado
para evitar riesgos de descarga.
Chasis, lentes o pantallas ultravioletas, deben ser cambiadas si se aprecian daños visibles que merman
su eficacia, como golpes o ralladuras.
Desconecte SIEMPRE de la red si no va a usar la unidad o la va a limpiar.
Mantenga la unidad apartada de los niños o personal no cualificado
El dispositivo es un foco diseñado para uso profesional en escenarios, discotecas, teatros, etc. Sólo puede
ser usado con CA de 230 V 50 Hz y ha sido diseñado sólo para aplicaciones de interior.
Los efectos de luces no han sido diseñados para un uso constante.
No sacuda la unidad. Evite la fuerza bruta cuando instale u opere con al unidad.
Cuando elija la instalación, asegúrese que el dispositivo no está expuesto a calor extremo, polvo o humedad.
No deben haber cables alrededor. Tenga cuidado por usted y la seguridad de otros.

Sustituyendo la lámpara
PELIGRO Instale la lámpara con el dispositivo apagado. Desconecte el cable de red antes.
PRECAUCION. La lámpara debe ser sustituida cuando se haya dañado o deformado por el calor.
Antes de sustituir la lámpara, desconecte la unidad y deje que se enfríe. (Aprox. 5 minutos).
Durante la instalación no toque el cristal con los dedos. Sigua las instrucciones del fabricante.
No instale lámpara de superior potencia. Estas lámparas general temperaturas para las cuales la unidad
no ha sido diseñada. Los daños causados por la no observancia de estas normas, anulan la garantía.
Para su uso necesita una lámpara de 12 V GX 5.3 de 50 W máximo
Procedimiento:
Paso 1: Abra la cubierta trasera tirando del retén
Paso 2: Retire la lámpara vieja del portalámparas
Paso 3: Inserte la lámpara nueva 12V/50 W GX 5.3
Paso 4: Cierre el dispositivo
No utilice este dispositivo con la cubierta abierta

Conexión a la red eléctrica

Para conectar el dispositivo a la red debe instalar previamente un transformador de 12 V de al
menos 60 W de potencia (por cada foco).
Conecte el dispositivo con un transformador.
Despues de conectar el dispositivo al transformador y éste a la red, ya puede controlar la unidad.
PELIGRO Desconecte de la red antes de comenzar la operación de mantenimiento.
No hay elementos de ajuste para el usuario en el interior de la unidad. Las operaciones de mantenimiento

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
El dispositivo debe ser examinado por un experto al menos una vez al año.
