Notes:

• When using the USB Peripheral Sharing Switch to share a USB storage device, you

must eject the device before switching ports in order to avoid any data loss.

• Although these switches do not require any software or drivers, the peripheral device

that you are sharing between may. Please be sure that you have installed the latest

drivers for your peripheral onto both systems before connecting to avoid detection or

functionality issues.

• Be sure your computer is powered on prior to installation.

• Maximum distance from host device to peripheral is 5 m (16 ft.).

• A USB hub can connect to a USB port on the switch, allowing you to add multiple

USB peripherals to the installation. To ensure proper function, it is recommended to

use a hub with an external power supply.

1. Connect your USB peripheral device to the USB-A port on the switch.

2. Connect the ﬁrst PC to the switch using a user-supplied USB 3.0 cable.

The computer will detect the switch, and it will be recognized in the

Device Manager or System Preferences section.

3. Repeat Step 2 for the remaining ports that need to be connected with

user-supplied USB 3.0 cables.

4. Once all ports needed are connected, the LEDs on top of the switch will

indicate which computer is selected. To switch from one port to another,

use the push buttons.

3-Year Limited Warranty

Tripp Lite warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of

three (3) years from the date of initial purchase. Tripp Lite’s obligation under this warranty is limited

to repairing or replacing (at its sole option) any such defective products. To obtain service under this

warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from Tripp Lite or an

authorized Tripp Lite service center. Products must be returned to Tripp Lite or an authorized Tripp Lite

service center with transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied by a brief description

of the problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase. This warranty does not apply to

equipment, which has been damaged by accident, negligence or misapplication or has been altered

or modiﬁed in any way.

Installation rapide :

Remarques :

• Lorsque le commutateur de partage de périphérique USB est utilisé pour partager

un dispositif de stockage USB, le dispositif doit d'abord être éjecté avant de changer

Примечания:

• При использовании распределяющего переключателя периферии USB для совместной работы с USB-

устройством хранения информации такое устройство следует вынимать из разъема перед переключением

портов во избежание потери каких-либо данных.

• Несмотря на то что эти коммутаторы не требуют использования программного обеспечения или

драйверов, они могут требоваться для работы совместно используемого периферийного устройства. Перед

подключением периферийного устройства необходимо убедиться в том, что на обеих системах установлены

последние версии драйверов для указанного устройства во избежание проблем с его функционированием.

• Перед установкой коммутатора необходимо убедиться в том, что питание компьютера включено.

• Максимальное расстояние от хост-устройства до периферийного устройства: 5 м.

• USB-хаб может подключаться к USB-порту переключателя, обеспечивая возможность дополнительного

подключения к установке нескольких периферийных устройств. Для обеспечения надлежащей

функциональности рекомендуется использовать хаб с внешним источником питания.

1. Подключите свое периферийное устройство USB к порту USB-A коммутатора.

2. Подключите первый ПК к коммутатору через кабель USB 3.0 (в комплекте не поставляется).

Компьютер обнаружит коммутатор, который будет распознан в разделе Device Manager

покупки. Обязательства компании Tripp Lite по настоящей гарантии ограничиваются ремонтом или заменой (по ее единоличному

усмотрению) любых таких дефектных изделий. Для получения услуг по данной гарантии необходимо получить номер Returned

Material Authorization (RMA ― разрешение на возврат материалов) от компании Tripp Lite или ее авторизованного сервисного центра.

Изделия должны быть возвращены в компанию Tripp Lite или ее авторизованный сервисный центр с предоплатой транспортных

расходов и сопровождаться кратким описанием возникшей проблемы и документом, подтверждающим дату и место его

приобретения. Действие настоящей гарантии не распространяется на оборудование, поврежденное в результате аварии, небрежного

обращения или неправильного использования, а также видоизмененное каким бы то ни было образом.
