This product is factory equipped with a power

supply cord that has a three-pronged grounded

plug. It must be plugged into a mating grounding

type receptacle in accordance with the National

Electrical Code and applicable local codes and

ordinances. If the circuit does not have a ground-

ing type receptacle, it is the responsibility and

obligation of the customer to exchange the ex-

isting receptacle in accordance with the National

Electrical Code and applicable local codes and

ordinances. The third ground prong should not,

under any circumstances, be cut or removed.

Never use the cord, the plug or the appliance

when they show any sign of damage. Do not use

your appliance with an extension cord unless it

Electrical requirements

To reduce the risk of ﬁre, electric shock, or person-

al injury, all wiring and grounding must conform to

the latest edition of Local and National Electrical

codes.

• It is the customer’s responsibility to have the

wiring and fuses checked by a qualiﬁed electri-

cian to make sure adequate electrical power is

available.

• This appliance is designed to operate on an

effectively grounded, separately branched,

polarized, 3-wire, 120 Volt 60 Hertz (alternat-

ing current) circuit protected by a 15 ampere

fuse, equivalent fuse or circuit breaker. The

three-prong grounding plug on the power cord

should be plugged directly into the aforemen-

tioned receptacle rated 110/120 V.A.C.

• Do not connect the dehumidiﬁer to a multiple

socket outlet that is also being used for other

electrical appliances.

Grounding instructions

Improper connection of the equipment-grounding

conductor can result in a risk of electrical shock.

Check with a qualiﬁed electrician or serviceperson

if you are in doubt as to whether your appliance

outlets are properly grounded.

• This appliance must be grounded. In the event

of malfunction or breakdown, grounding will

reduce the risk of electrical shock by providing

a path of least resistance for electrical current.

This appliance is equipped with a cord that

has an equipment-grounding conductor and

3 prong grounding plug. The plug must be con-

nected into an outlet that is properly installed

and grounded in accordance with all local

codes and ordinances.

• Do not modify the plug provided with this ap-

pliance. If it will not ﬁt the outlet, have a proper

outlet installed by a qualiﬁed electrician.

• If the household electrical supply does not

When using this dehumidiﬁer, always follow basic

safety precautions, including the following:

• Use this appliance only for its intended pur-

pose as described in this Owner’s Manual.

• This dehumidiﬁer must be properly installed

and grounded as described in this manual

before it is used.

• Never operate this dehumidiﬁer in an area that

is likely to accumulate standing water. If this

condition develops, for your safety disconnect

the power supply before stepping into the

water.

• Never unplug your dehumidiﬁer by pulling on

the power cord. Always grip the plug ﬁrmly and

pull straight out from the receptacle.

• Replace immediately all electric service cords

that have become frayed or otherwise dam-

aged. A damaged power supply cord must be

replaced with a new power supply cord ob-

tained from the manufacturer and not repaired.

Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abra-

sion damage along its length or at either the

plug or connector end.

• Select a suitable location, making sure you

have easy access to an electrical outlet. DO

NOT USE EXTENSION CORDS.

• Make sure there are no obstructions restrict-

ing airﬂow through the front air intake grill.

Maintain a minimum clearance of at least 20

cm (8”) between adjacent walls and the back

of the unit, to allow for proper air circulation

and maximum efﬁciency. To achieve maximum

operating efﬁciency from your dehumidiﬁer,

the recommended (room ambient) operating

temperatures should be between 5°C (41°F)

and 35°C (95°F).

• To maintain efﬁciency, the dehumidiﬁer must

be operated in an enclosed area. Keep all

doors and windows closed.

• Do not use this unit outdoors. This dehumid-

iﬁer is intended for indoor residential appli-

cations only. This dehumidiﬁer should not be

used for commercial or industrial applications.

• Place the dehumidiﬁer on a smooth, level ﬂoor

strong enough to support the unit with a full

bucket of water.

• This unit has 4 castors which can move freely.

Do not force castors to move over carpet, and

refrain from moving the unit with water in the

bucket (the unit may tip over and spill water).

Protect wood ﬂoors from possible spillage or

scratches when moving unit.

• Remove accessories and store them in a safe

place.

Control panel instructions

When you push the button to change operation modes, the unit

will make a beeping sound to indicate that it is changing modes.

1. Continuous button: Press to activate the continuous

dehumidifying operation.

2. Filter button: The check ﬁlter light will illuminate after 250

hours of operation. After cleaning the ﬁlter, press the ﬁlter

button and the light will go off.

3. Fan button: Controls the fan speed. Press to select either

normal or high fan speed.

4. Power button: Press to turn the dehumidiﬁer on or off.

5. ( + / - ) buttons: The humidity level can be set within a

range of 35% RH (Relative Humidity) to 85% RH in 5%

increments using these buttons. For drier air, press the (-)

button and set to a lower percentage value (%). For more

damp air, press the (+) button and set a higher percentage

value (%).

6. Timer button: Press to initiate the auto-start and au-

to-stop feature. Set a start or stop time from 0.0 to 24

hours using the (+) and (-) keys.

7. Display: Shows the actual (± 5% accuracy) room humidity

level in a range of 30% RH to 90% RH. Otherwise, dis-

plays selection when programming humidity or timer.

Note: The fan does not shut off the moment you remove the

bucket, the fan will shut off after 2-3 minutes.

EC - Ensure that the room ambient temperature match-

es the recommended operating temperature for the unit,

5°C (41°F) - 35°C (95°F).

Indicator light functions

Note: Depending on the humidity conditions of the surrounding

environment, the dehumidiﬁer may not start automatically when

the “on/off” button is pressed (see dehumidifying mode instruc-

tions for details).

Memory setting: Each time the unit is disconnected / re-con-

nected and/or in the event of a power failure, the electronic

circuit board automatically defaults to the last program setting

that was used. After the unit has stopped, it may take several

minutes before operating conditions resume.

Auto-restart: If the unit shuts off unexpectedly due to a power

outage, it will restart with the previous function settings auto-

matically when the power resumes.

Bucket full indicator light: When the bucket is full and/or

incorrectly positioned inside the cabinet, the bucket full light will

turn on and remain on until the bucket is emptied and/or cor-

rectly re-positioned. This condition will result in the immediate

shut down of the dehumidifying system (both compressor and

fan motor operations are terminated). This is a safety feature.

When the bucket is emptied and/or correctly re-positioned, the

dehumidiﬁer will resume operation automatically. Note: It may

take several minutes before operating conditions resume.

Auto-defrost: When frost builds on the evaporator coils, the

compressor will cycle off and the fan will continue to run until

the frost disappears.

Timer functions

Follow these steps to program the Auto-on or Auto-off

feature using the control panel:

Auto-off:

1. When the unit is on and the timer button is pressed,

the timer off indicator light illuminates to indicate

that the auto-off program is initiated.

2. Press or hold the (+) or (-) button to change the

‘Auto’ time by 0.5 hour increments, up to 10 hours

(then at 1 hour increments up to 24 hours). The

unit control will count down the time remaining until

start.

3. Within 5 seconds of setting auto-off time, press the

timer button again to complete the auto-off program.

Auto-on:

4. When the unit is off, and the timer button is

pressed, the auto-on program is initiated. Set the

auto-on time as in step 2 above. Within 5 seconds

of setting auto-on time, press the timer button again

to complete the auto-on program.

Note: When the auto-on and auto-off times are set,

within the same program sequence, timer on and off

indicator lights will illuminate indicating that both Auto-on

and Auto-off times are now programmed.

Note: Turning the unit on or off at any time, changing

the on/off timer setting to 0.0, and a P2 error code will

cancel the Auto-on/off functions.

Water tank operation

The water tank holds accumulated condensed water

and, by means of a safety switch, controls both the wa-

ter level and operation of the dehumidiﬁcation process.

When the water tank is full and/or accidentally displaced

inside the cabinet, the ﬂoat switch actuator (inside the

tank) breaks contact with the safety switch. This condi-

tion results in the immediate shut down of the compres-

sor and fan motor system, preventing moisture from

being condensed.

Note: On some models, the fan will continue to run for

approximately 2-3 minutes after the unit has stopped

and the bucket has been removed. As a result, water

may drip from the tray onto the base of the unit, and

then onto the ﬂoor. Please ensure that you protect your

wood and carpet from such leakage.

Never tamper with or attempt to defeat the water level

(safety) ﬂoat switch system. Proper installation of the

water tank is crucial in maintaining reliable dehumidiﬁer

operation.

Dehumidifying mode instructions

When the power button is pressed, the power light turns

on and the dehumidiﬁer automatically defaults to:

Display: Current ambient room humidity (RH%)

Humidity Setting: 40% RH

Fan Speed: High

Note: Depending on humidity conditions of the sur-

rounding environment, the dehumidiﬁer may not start

automatically under the default setting. This is an indi-

cation that the humidity level of the surrounding envi-

ronment is lower than the “default” setting of 40% RH.

Therefore, it may be necessary to scroll through each

of the different dehumidiﬁer settings 35%-55% until the

humidity sensor recognizes conditions that will allow the

unit to operate.

Dehumidifying Mode Selection:

The unit enters dehumidify mode when the power button

is pressed.

Press the + / - buttons to select a desired RH operating

value (35%-85%).

Press the continuous button. When continuous mode is

selected, the humidity sensor will be by-passed and the

compressor will operate non-stop regardless of humidity

conditions.

Fan Speed Selection:

You can choose a fan speed (low or high) using the key-

pad. The speed you select is identiﬁed by the illuminated

indicator light located directly above the selection made.

Note: For optimal performance, ensure that the unit is

set at least 10% lower than the relative humidity level. It

is normal for the humidity to vary by 5% above or below

the set humidity. It is recommended that in normal condi-

tions, the humidity be set at 40-45%.

Operating

Removing the collected water

There are two ways to remove collected water:

Use the bucket

When the bucket is full, the compressor turns off and the

fan turns off after drying the water off the condenser for 30

seconds. The unit will beep 8 times and the bucket full indicator

light will ﬂash, and the digital display shows P2.

To empty the bucket, slowly pull out the bucket. Grip the left

and right handles securely, and carefully pull it straight out so

water does not spill. Do not put the tank on the ﬂoor because

the bottom of the bucket is uneven. Otherwise the bucket will

fall and cause water to spill. Discard the water and return the

bucket to the unit. The bucket must be placed and properly po-

sitioned for the dehumidiﬁer to operate. The machine will restart

when the bucket is restored in its correct position.

Note: When you remove the bucket, do not touch any parts

inside of the unit. Doing so may damage the product. Be sure

to push the bucket gently all the way into the unit. Banging the

bucket against anything or failing to push it in securely may

cause the unit not to operate. When you remove the bucket, if

there is some water inside the unit you must dry it. The power

button ﬂashes when the bucket is not properly in place.

Continuous draining:

Water can be automatically emptied

into a ﬂoor drain by attaching the

unit to an ID ≥ 5/16” water hose with

a OD:M=1 male threaded end (not

included, a standard garden hose

works well). Install the drain hose

onto the adaptor A (see B1). The

adaptor is found in the accessory

bag located in the bucket. Remove

the plastic cover from the back drain

outlet of the unit and set it aside.

Remove the bucket, then insert the

drain hose through the drain outlet

of the unit and securely press it into

the connector on the front of the unit

(see B2 and B3).

Tighten the adaptor A and the unit by

using two screws (found in the buck-

et). Install the female threaded end

of the water hose into the adaptor A

(see B4), then lead the water hose

to the ﬂoor drain or a suitable drain-

age facility. Make sure the hose is

secure so there are no leaks. Direct

the hose toward the drain, making

sure that there are no kinks that will

stop the water from ﬂowing. Place

the end of the hose into the drain

and make sure the end of the hose

is level or declining to let the water

ﬂow smoothly. Place the bucket back

in the unit and make sure that it is

located correctly. Select the desired

humidity setting and fan speed on

the unit for continuous draining to

start.

Cleaning

1. Clean the grill and case

Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or

abrasives. Do not splash water directly onto the main unit.

Doing so may cause an electric shock, cause the insula-

tion to deteriorate, or cause the unit to rust. The air intake

and outlet grills become dirty easily, so use a vacuum

attachment or brush to clean.

2. Clean the bucket

Every few weeks, clean the bucket to prevent growth of

mold, mildew and bacteria. Partially ﬁll the bucket with

clean water and add a small amount of mild detergent.

Swish it around in the bucket, empty and rinse. Do not

use a dishwasher to clean the bucket. After cleaning, the

bucket must be placed and properly positioned for the

dehumidiﬁer to operate.

3. Clean the air ﬁlter

Remove and clean the ﬁlter every two weeks based on

normal operating conditions. Remove the ﬁlter from the

top of the unit (option A), or you can choose to remove the

bucket and then pull the ﬁlter downwards (option B). Wash

the ﬁlter with clean water, then dry. Re-install the ﬁlter, re-

place the bucket (option B). Press the “reset ﬁlter” button.

Caution: DO NOT operate the dehumidiﬁer without a ﬁlter; dirt

and lint will clog the unit and affect performance.

4. When not using the unit for long periods of time

After turning the unit off, wait one day before emptying

the bucket. Clean the main unit, water bucket and air

ﬁlter. Cover the unit with a plastic bag. Wrap the cord and

bundle it with the band. Store the unit upright in a dry, well

ventilated place.

Important:

• Be sure to unplug the unit before cleaning or servicing.

• Do not use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to

clean the unit.

• Do not wash the unit directly under a tap or using a hose.

It may cause electrical damage.

• If the power cord is damaged, contact the service depot

immediately

Air ﬁ lter

Your dehumidiﬁ er features a removable Air Filter. This

ﬁ lter is located at the front of the unit (behind the air

intake grill) directly above the water tank compartment.

The air ﬁ lter plays an important role in helping to reduce

dust and dirt particles from the surrounding environment.

To maintain maximum operating efﬁ ciency, the ﬁ lter

must be checked and cleaned regularly (every 2 weeks).

More frequent cleaning may be required depending

upon indoor air quality.

Important: Never operate the unit without the air ﬁ lter in

place.

Air ﬁ lter removal:

1. There are two options depending on

your model:

Option A: Grasp the ﬁ lter handle, and

pull the ﬁ lter out. The ﬁ lter will slide out

easily

Option B: Remove the bucket and pull

the ﬁ lter downwards.

2. Clean the ﬁ lter thoroughly using

a vacuum cleaner or wash using

lukewarm water and mild detergent.

Dry thoroughly before re-installing.

3. To re-install the air ﬁ lter, slide the

ﬁ lter back inside the tracks and push

inward.

4. Press the reset ﬁ lter button.

After the expiration of the warranty period, you may wish to have your

product repaired at your own expense. You will be notiﬁ ed of the repair

costs in advance by the service depot providing the repair.

This warranty gives you speciﬁ c legal rights, and you may also have

other rights which vary from state to state but this warranty is not in-

tended to exceed statutory minimum requirements beyond what is in-

cluded above.

This warranty does not limit the statutory obligation of the seller aris-

ing from any implied warranties. The period of warranty can only be ex-

tended in accordance with applicable law.

Neither the service company nor ALDI will assume any liability for data

or settings stored on any returned product.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Accident or unanticipated events (e.g. lightning, water, ﬁre, etc).

Este producto viene equipado de fábrica con un

cable de alimentación que tiene un enchufe de tres

clavijas. Hay que enchufarlo en un tomacorriente

adecuado y con conexión a tierra, de acuerdo con las

Normas Eléctricas Nacionales y todas las normas y

regulaciones locales que correspondan. Si el circuito

no tiene un tomacorriente con conexión a tierra, el

cliente tiene la responsabilidad y la obligación de

reemplazarlo de acuerdo con las Normas Eléctricas

Nacionales y las normas y regulaciones locales que

correspondan. No debe cortar o quitar la clavija

de coneción a tierra bajo ninguna circunstancia.

Nunca use el cable, el enchufe o el aparato cuando

estén dañados. No utilice el aparato con un cable

de extensión, a menos que haya sido veriﬁ cado

Requisitos eléctricos

Para reducir el riesgo de incendio, descarga

eléctrica o lesión personal, todo la instalación

eléctrica y toda la conexión a tierra deben cumplir

con la última versión de los códigos locales y

nacionales de electricidad.

• El cliente es responsable de hacer que un

electricista caliﬁcado controle los cables y

fusibles para garantizar que se disponga de la

energía eléctrica adecuada.

• Este aparatoo está diseñado para funcionar

en un circuito de 120 voltios y 60 hercios

(corriente alterna), de 3 cables, polarizado,

derivado de forma separada, con conexión

a tierra eﬁcaz, protegido por un fusible de

15 amperios, un fusible equivalente o un

disyuntor. El enchufe de tres clavijas con

conexión a tierra en el cable de alimentación

debe enchufarse directamente a un

receptáculo como el antes mencionado con

potencia de 110/120 voltios de CA.

• No conecte el deshumidiﬁcador a una salida

Instrucciones de conexión a tierra

Una conexión inadecuada del conductor de conex-

ión a tierra del equipo puede dar como resultado

un riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Veriﬁque con un

electricista caliﬁcado o con personal de servicio si

tiene dudas respecto a si los enchufes de su apara-

to tienen una buena conexión a tierra.

• Este aparato debe conectarse a tierra. En el

caso de un mal funcionamiento o avería, la

conexión a tierra reducirá el riesgo de descarga

eléctrica, ya que dará una vía de menor resist-

encia para la corriente eléctrica. Este aparato

está equipado con un cable que posee un

conductor de conexión a tierra del equipo y un

enchufe de conexión a tierra de 3 clavijas. El

enchufe debe conectarse a un tomacorriente

que esté correctamente instalado y conectado a

tierra en cumplimiento con todos los códigos y

ordenanzas locales.

• No modiﬁque el enchufe que se provee con

este artefacto. Si no encaja en el tomacorri-

Precauciones de seguridad

Al usar este deshumidiﬁcador, siga siempre las

precauciones de seguridad básicas, incluidas las

siguientes:

• Utilice este aparato solamente para su uso

previsto según se describe en este Manual del

usuario.

• El deshumidiﬁcador debe estar correctamente

instalado y conectado a tierra según se

describe en este manual antes de su uso.

• Nunca haga funcionar este deshumidiﬁcador

en un área que puedan acumular agua

estancada. Si se da esta condición, para su

seguridad, desconecte el suministro eléctrico

antes de pisar el agua.

• Nunca tire del cable de alimentación para

desenchufar el aparato. Agarre siempre el

enchufe con ﬁrmeza y tire de él en línea recta

para quitarlo del receptáculo.

• Reemplace de inmediato todos los cables

de servicio eléctrico que se hayan pelado

o dañado de alguna otra forma. Los cables

de alimentación eléctrica dañados deben

reemplazarse con cables nuevos obtenidos

del fabricante; no deben repararse. No utilice

un cable que presente grietas o daños por

abrasión en cualquier parte o en el extremo del

enchufe o del conector.

• Escoja una ubicación apropiada, asegurándose

de que tenga fácil acceso a un tomacorriente. NO

USE CABLES DE EXTENSIÓN.

• Veriﬁque que no haya obstrucciones que restrinjan

el ﬂujo de aire por la rejilla delantera de entrada.

Mantenga una separación mínima de por lo

menos 20 cm (8”) entre la unidad y las paredes de

los costados y de atrás para permitir la correcta

circulación de aire y la máxima eﬁciencia. Para

obtener la mayor eﬁciencia de operación de su

deshumidiﬁcador, la temperatura recomendada de

operación (del ambiente) deberá estar entre 5 ºC

(41 ºF) y 35 ºC (95 ºF).

• Para mantener la eﬁciencia, el deshumidiﬁcador

deberá usarse en un ambiente cerrado. Mantenga

todas las puertas y ventanas cerradas.

• No utilice esta unidad en el exterior. Este

deshumidiﬁcador es para uso residencial en

interiores únicamente. Este deshumidiﬁcador no

debe utilizarse con ﬁnes comerciales o industriales.

• Coloque el deshumidiﬁcador sobre un piso liso

y nivelado lo suﬁcientemente fuerte como para

soportar la unidad con el recipiente lleno de agua.

• Esta unidad tiene 4 ruedas multidireccionales

que se mueven libremente. No fuerce las ruedas

multidireccionales para moverse sobre alfombras,

y evite mover la unidad con agua en su interior (se

podría caer y derramar el agua). Proteja los pisos

de madera contra posibles derrames y marcas al

mover la unidad.

• Quite los accesorios y guárdelos en un lugar

seguro.

Instrucciones del panel de control

Cada vez que presione el botón para cambiar el modo de

funcionamiento, la unidad emitirá un pitido para indicar que está

cambiando de modo.

1. Botón Continuous: Presionar para activar el funcionamiento de

deshumidiﬁcación continua.

2. Botón Filter: La luz indicadora se enciende después de 250

horas de funcionamiento. Luego de limpiar el ﬁltro, presione el

botón Filter y la luz se apagará.

3. Botón Fan: Controla la velocidad del ventilador. Presiónelo para

seleccionar entre la velocidad normal o alta.

4. Botón Power: Presiónelo para encender y apagar el

deshumidiﬁcador.

5. Botones (+) y (-): El nivel de humedad se puede ajustar

dentro de un rango de 35% RH (humedad relativa) hasta

85% RH, en incrementos de 5% usando estos botones. Para

obtener aire más seco, presione el botón (-) y seleccione un

valor de porcentaje de humedad (%) menor. Para obtener aire

más húmedo, presione el botón (+) y seleccione un valor de

porcentaje de humedad (%) mayor.

6. Botón Timer: Presionar para activar las funciones de encendido

y apagado con retardo. Ajuste un retardo de encendido o de

apagado desde 0 a 24 horas usando los botones (+) y (-).

7. Pantalla: Muestra la humedad actual del ambiente (± 5% de

exactitud) en un rango de 30% RH a 90% RH. De lo contrario

muestra lo que se esté seleccionando al programar el nivel de

humedad o el temporizador.

Nota: El ventilador no se apaga inmediatamente al extraer el tanque,

el ventilador se apaga 2-3 minutos después.

EC - Veriﬁca que la temperatura ambiente del

cuarto coincida con la temperatura recomendada de

funcionamiento de la unidad: 5 °C (41 °F) - 35 °C (95 °F).

Funciones de los indicadores luminosos:

Nota: Dependiendo de las condiciones de humedad del ambiente, el

deshumidiﬁcador puede no arrancar automáticamente al presionar

el botón de encendido (ver las instrucciones de los modos del

deshumidiﬁcador para obtener información más detallada).

Ajustes de memoria: Cada vez que la unidad se desconecte/vuelva

a conectarse y/o en caso de interrupción del suministro eléctrico

el circuito electrónico de control volverá automáticamente al último

programa de ajuste que se haya utilizado. Luego de que la unidad

se detenga, puede requerir varios minutos para volver a funcionar

normalmente.

Continuación automática: Si la unidad se apaga de forma

inesperada debido a una interrupción del suministro eléctrico volverá

a arrancar automáticamente en el modo anterior cuando se recupere

el suministro eléctrico.

Luz Indicadora de tanque lleno: Cuando se llena el tanque y/o

se coloca incorrectamente en la unidad, se enciende la luz de

tanque lleno y permanece encendida hasta que se vacía el tanque

y/o se vuelve a colocar correctamente. Esto hará que se apague

inmediatamente el sistema de deshumidiﬁcación (el compresor y el

ventilador). Es una medida de seguridad. Cuando se vacíe el tanque

y/o se vuelva a colocar correctamente, el deshumidiﬁcador se pondrá

en funcionamiento de nuevo automáticamente. Nota: Puede tardar

varios minutos en volver a funcionar.

Descongelamiento automático: Si se acumula hielo en la serpentina

del evaporador, se apagará el compresor y el ventilador seguirá

funcionando hasta que se derrita el hielo.

Operación

Funciones del temporizador

Siga estos pasos para programar las funciones de

encendido o apagado automático usando el panel de

control.

Apagado automático:

1. Cuando la unidad está funcionando y se presiona

el botón del temporizador, se enciende la luz de

apagado automático para indicar que se ha activado

el programa de apagado automático.

2. Presione o mantenga presionados los botones (+)

o (-) para cambiar el tiempo en incrementos de

0.5 horas para las primeras 10 horas, y luego en

incrementos de 1 hora hasta las 24 horas. El control

de la unidad realizará la cuenta regresiva del tiempo

restante.

3. En un plazo de 5 segundos después de ajustar el

temporizador, presione nuevamente el botón del

temporizador para completar la programación del

apagado automático.

Encendido automático:

4. Cuando la unidad está apagada y se presiona

el botón del temporizador, se inicia el programa

de encendido automático. Ajuste el tiempo como

se indica en el paso 2 anterior. En un plazo de

5 segundos después de ajustar el temporizador,

presione nuevamente el botón del temporizador para

completar la programación del encendido automático.

Nota: Cuando se programa el encendido y apagado

automáticos dentro de la misma secuencia, se

encenderán las luces de encendido y de apagado

automático para indicar que ambos temporizadores están

programados.

Nota: Encender o apagar la unidad en cualquier

momento, cambiar el temporizador de encendido/

apagado a 0.0 y el código de error P2 cancelarán las

funciones de encendido/apagado automático.

Operación

Funcionamiento del tanque de agua

El tanque de agua acumula el agua de

condensación y, mediante un interruptor

de seguridad, controla el nivel de agua y el

funcionamiento del proceso de deshumidiﬁcación.

Cuando se llena el tanque de agua y/o cuando

no esté correctamente colocado en la unidad, el

interruptor de ﬂotador (que está dentro del tanque)

activa la llave de seguridad. Esto hace que se

apague inmediatamente el sistema del compresor

y del ventilador, evitando que se condense más

humedad.

Nota: En algunos modelos, el ventilador seguirá

funcionando durante 2-3 minutos luego de que se

haya apagado la unidad y de que se haya extraído

el tanque. Como resultado, puede caer un poco

de agua de la bandeja en la base de la unidad y

luego en el piso. Asegúrese de proteger sus pisos

de madera y alfombrados contra estas fugas.

Nunca modiﬁque o intente anular el sistema

del interruptor ﬂotador (de seguridad). La

correcta instalación del tanque de agua es

crucial para mantener la operación conﬁable del

deshumidiﬁcador.

Instrucciones del modo deshumidiﬁcador

Al presionar el botón de encendido, se enciende la luz

de encendido y el deshumidiﬁcador entra en el modo

siguiente de forma predeterminada:

Pantalla: Humedad actual del ambiente (RH%)

Ajuste de humedad: 40% RH

Velocidad del ventilador: Alta

Nota: Dependiendo de las condiciones de humedad

del ambiente, el deshumidiﬁcador puede no arrancar

automáticamente con los ajustes iniciales. Esto indica

que el nivel de humedad del ambiente es menor que

el ajuste “por defecto’ de 40% RH. Por lo tanto, podría

ser necesario cambiar el ajuste del nivel de humedad

(35%-55%) hasta que el sensor de humedad reconozca

condiciones que permitan que la unidad comience a

funcionar.

Selección del modo del deshumidiﬁcador:

Al presionar el botón de encendido la unidad entra en el

modo de deshumidiﬁcación.

Presione los botones (+) / (-) para seleccionar el nivel de

humedad RH deseado (35%-85%).

Presione el botón Continuous. En el modo continuo de

operación, el sensor de humedad será desactivado y el

compresor funcionará constantemente sin importar las

condiciones de humedad.

Selección de la velocidad del ventilador:

Puede seleccionar una velocidad (baja o alta) para el

ventilador usando el teclado. La velocidad seleccionada

queda identiﬁcada por la luz indicadora ubicada

directamente sobre la selección ingresada.

Nota: Para obtener el rendimiento óptimo, asegúrese

de que la unidad esté ajustada por lo menos a un 10%

menos que el nivel de humedad relativa. Es normal que

la humedad varíe un 5% por encima y por debajo de la

humedad seleccionada. Le recomendamos que, bajo

condiciones normales, ajuste la humedad entre 40 y 45%.

Operación

Eliminación del agua recogida

Existen dos formas de hacerlo:

Use el tanque

Cuando se llena el tanque, se apaga el compresor y el

ventilador se apaga después de secar el agua del condensador

durante 30 segundos. La unidad emitirá 8 pitidos y parpadeará

la luz indicadora de tanque lleno, y la pantalla mostrará P2.

Para vaciarlo, saque lentamente el tanque de agua. Sujételo

ﬁrmemente por las asas izquierda y derecha, y sáquelo

hacia afuera sin derramar el agua. No apoye el tanque en

el piso porque la parte inferior del mismo no es plana. De

lo contrario el tanque se inclinará y volcará el agua de su

interior. Deseche el agua y vuelva a colocar el tanque en

la unidad. El tanque debe estar correctamente instalado

para que el deshumidiﬁcador pueda funcionar. La unidad

seguirá funcionando una vez que se haya vuelto a colocar

correctamente el tanque de agua en su lugar.

Nota: No toque ninguna parte interna de la unidad al sacar

el tanque, ya que podría dañar el producto. Asegúrese de

empujar suavemente el tanque dentro de la unidad. Golpear

algo con el tanque o no empujarlo bien podría hacer que la

unidad no funcione correctamente. Si hay agua dentro de

la unidad al sacar el tanque, deberá secarla. El botón de

encendido parpadea cuando el tanque no está colocado

correctamente en su lugar.

Operación

Drenaje continuo:

Se puede drenar automáticamente el agua

en un desagüe del piso colocando una

manguera de agua de diámetro interno ≥

5/16” en la unidad, con un acople roscado

macho OD:M=1 (no incluido, una manguera

estándar de jardín funciona bien). Instale

la manguera de drenaje en el adaptador A

(ver B1). El adaptador se encuentra en la

bolsa de accesorios que viene en el tanque.

Saque la cubierta plástica de la salida de

drenaje posterior de la unidad y déjela a un

lado. Saque el tanque, inserte la manguera

de drenaje por el oriﬁcio de drenaje de la

unidad y presiónela bien dentro del conector

del frente de la unidad (ver B2 y B3).

Ajuste el adaptador A y la unidad con dos

tornillos (vienen en el tanque). Instale el

extremo hembra roscado de la manguera

de agua dentro del adaptador A (ver B4),

luego dirija la manguera de agua hacia

el desagüe del piso o hacia un sistema

adecuado de drenaje. Veriﬁque que la

manguera quede bien colocada para que

no tenga fugas. Dirija la manguera hacia el

drenaje, veriﬁcando que no quede retorcida

ni presionada ya que eso podría detener

el ﬂujo del agua. Coloque el extremo de la

manguera dentro del desagüe y veriﬁque

que el extremo de la manguera esté

nivelado o inclinado hacia abajo para dejar

que el agua ﬂuya suavemente. Vuelva

a colocar el tanque dentro de la unidad

y veriﬁque que quede correctamente

instalado. Ajuste el nivel de humedad y

la velocidad del ventilador deseados en

la unidad para que comience el drenaje

continuo.

Cuidado y maintenimiento

Limpieza

1. Limpie la rejilla y el exterior de la unidad

Use agua y un detergente suave. No use blanqueador ni

productos abrasivos. No salpique agua directamente sobre la

unidad principal. Hacerlo podría causar una descarga eléctrica,

deteriorar el aislamiento o hacer que se oxide la unidad. Las

rejillas de entrada y salida de aire se ensucian fácilmente. Use una

aspiradora o un cepillo para limpiarlas.

2. Limpie el tanque

Cada pocas semanas, limpie el tanque para evitar el crecimiento

de hongos, moho y bacterias. Llene parcialmente el tanque con

agua limpia y agregue una pequeña cantidad de detergente

suave. Revuélvalo en el tanque, vacíelo y enjuáguelo. No limpie

el tanque en el lavavajillas. Luego de limpiarlo, el tanque debe

estar correctamente instalado para que el deshumidiﬁcador pueda

funcionar.

3. Limpie el ﬁltro de aire

Extraiga y limpie el ﬁltro cada dos semanas en condiciones

normales de uso. Saque el ﬁltro de la parte superior de la unidad

(opción A), o puede quitar el tanque y luego tirar del ﬁltro hacia

abajo (opción B). Lave el ﬁltro con agua limpia y séquelo. Vuelva a

instalar el ﬁltro y vuelva a colocar el tanque (opción B). Presione el

botón de reinicio del ﬁltro.

Cuidado: NO use el deshumidiﬁcador sin el ﬁltro colocado; la suciedad

y las pelusas atascarán la unidad y afectarán su rendimiento.

4. Si no usará la unidad por mucho tiempo

Luego de apagar la unidad, espere un día antes de vaciar el

tanque. Limpie la unidad principal, el tanque y el ﬁltro de aire.

Cubra la unidad con una bolsa de plástico. Enrolle el cable y fíjelo

con una banda elástica. Guarde la unidad en posición vertical, en

un lugar seco y bien ventilado.

Importante:

• Asegúrese de desenchufar la unidad antes de limpiarla o repararla.

• No use gasolina, diluyente de pintura ni ningún otro producto

químico para limpiar la unidad.

• No lave la unidad directamente debajo de la llave del agua o con

una manguera. Puede causar un daño eléctrico.

• Llame inmediatamente el servicio de reparaciones si se daña el

cable de alimentación.

Cuidado y maintenimiento

Filtro de aire

Su deshumidiﬁ cador tiene un ﬁ ltro de aire extraíble.

Este ﬁ ltro está ubicado en el frente de la unidad (detrás

de la rejilla de entrada de aire), directamente encima

del compartimiento del tanque de agua. El ﬁ ltro de

aire juega un papel importante ayudando a reducir

las partículas de polvo y suciedad del ambiente. Para

mantener la máxima eﬁ ciencia de operación, deberá

revisar y limpiar regularmente el ﬁ ltro (cada 2 semanas).

Puede necesitar más limpieza dependiendo de la

calidad del aire interior.

Importante: Nunca use la unidad sin el ﬁ ltro de aire

colocado.

Extracción del ﬁ ltro de aire:

Existen dos opciones, dependiendo de su

modelo:

Opción A: Agarre el mango del ﬁ ltro y tire

hacia afuera. El ﬁ ltro saldrá fácilmente.

Opción B: Saque el tanque de agua y

deslice el ﬁ ltro hacia abajo.

1. Limpie bien el ﬁ ltro con una
