Never pull on the cord. • Always use on a dry, level surface. • Avoid contact with moving parts. DO NOT operate without fan grills properly in place. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS! WARNING: This fan is equipped with a polarized alternating current line plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug fits into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still fails to fit, contact an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. To turn the fan on, press the On/Off Button the control panel. The fan will start at Med speed (but the Low speed light will turn on). The fan will automatically change to Low speed in 10 seconds. Press this button again to turn off the fan. on 3. Adjust the speed of the fan by pressing the Speed Button . Press the button successively to adjust between low, medium and high speeds. If the fan is turned OFF, and if it remains plugged into the outlet, it will start at the same speed the next time it is turned on. 4. To start and stop the oscillation of the fan, push the Oscillation Button on the control panel. 5. To start and stop the timer, press the Timer Button on the panel and press it through the time settings (0.5hr, 1hr, 2hr, 4hr and so on up to 7.5 hrs). successively to cycle 6. The ionizer feature is activated or deactivated simultaneously when the fan is turned ON or OFF. The ionizer releases negative ions into outgoing air. These particles take on a negative charge and may join with positively charged particles, such as dust and pollen. Over time, you may see a buildup of particles on the front grill. These can be removed using a soft damp cloth as instructed in the Cleaning/Maintenance section of this manual. Cleaning/Maintenance Instructions Follow these instructions to correctly and safely care for your Mini Tower Fan. Please remember: • Always unplug the fan before cleaning or disassembling. • Do not allow water or steam to drip on or into the fan motor housing. • Do not use any of the following to clean the fan: gasoline, thinner, benzene. • We also recommend periodic cleaning of this fan by lightly running a vacuum cleaner nozzle over the fan grill to remove any dust or dirt that may have accumulated inside or on the unit. FAN HEAD AND BASE CLEANING Using a soft, moist cloth, with or without a mild soap solution, carefully clean the fan housing. Please use caution around the grills. Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water. 2 Limited Warranty This item is warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase under normal household use. Within the warranty period, we will replace the product. This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser, and excludes any damage to the product resulting from accident or misuse. The product is not warranted when used in a commercial or business environment. The above warranty is complete and exclusive. The warrantor expressly disclaims liability for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages in connection with the purchase or use of this product or costs over the original purchase price. Any implied warranties arising by operation of law shall be limited in duration to the terms of this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary by jurisdiction. IMPORTANT! Do not return this product to your retailer. If for any reason this product malfunctions, please follow the directions below and return the product to the manufacturer to receive a replacement product of equal or greater value. Cut the power cord off the product. (MAKE SURE THAT THE PRODUCT IS REMOVED FROM THE POWER OUTLET.) Remove the rating tag/label from the back or bottom of the product.
