Unpacking Your Refrigerator
1. Remove all packaging material. This includes the foam base and all adhesive
tape holding the refrigerator accessories inside and outside. Slide out and
remove the plastic or foam guard used to protect the compressor from shipping
damage due to vibration or shock,
2. Inspect and remove any remaining packaging, tape or printed materials before
powering on the refrigerator.
3. Check to be sure you have all accessories and parts listed in the Parts and
Features section.
Proper Air Circulation
To ensure that your refrigerator works at the maximum efficiency it was designed
for, you should install it in a location where this is proper air circulation, plumbing
and electrical connections.
The following are recommended clearances around the refrigerator:
Sides ................... 4 inches (10 cm)
Top ...................... 12 inches (30 cm)
Back .................... 4 inches (10 cm)
Electrical Requirements
Make sure there is a suitable power outlet (120 volts, 15 amps) with proper
grounding to power the refrigerator.
Interior light bulb replacement
If the interior 10 watt appliance light bulb burns out, remove the light bulb cover
and replace bulb as follows:
1. Unplug refrigerator from power outlet
2. Push the cover back slightly and remove.
3. Loosen and remove the bulb from its socket by rotating counterclockwise.
4. Insert new bulb and screw into socket.
5. Replace cover and plug refrigerator back into power outlet.
PREPARING TO USE YOUR REFRIGERATOR IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The unit must be plugged into its own dedicated 10 amp, 120 Volt, 60 Hz. AC only
electrical outlet.
The power cord of the appliance is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug
for your protection against shock hazards. It must be plugged directly into a
properly grounded three-prong receptacle. The receptacle must be installed in
accordance with local codes and ordinances. Consult a qualified electrician.
WARNING: Do not use an extension cord or adapter plug.
Do not use appliance is power cord is damaged or frayed. Take appliance to
qualified service dealer for inspection and possible repair.
Never unplug the appliance b pulling on the power cord. Always grip the plug
firmly, and pull straight from the receptacle to prevent damaging the power cord.
If your unit has an internal light, unplug the appliance before cleaning and before
replacing a light bulb to avoid electrical shock.
Performance may be affected if the voltage varies by 10% or more. Operating the
unit with insufficient power can damage the motor. Such damage is not covered
under the warranty.
Do not plug the unit into an outlet controlled by a wall switch or pull cord to
prevent the appliance from being turned off accidentally.
Avoid connecting unit to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).

10. Use the two previously removed hex head screws to attach the middle hinge
to the divider panel.
11. Install upper door as follows:
- Remove the hex head screws nearest the middle hinge lower post. Slightly loosen the other
screw. Swing the hinge down.
- Slide plastic washer onto top hinge bracket post. Insert post into hole in top of upper door.
- Make sure that plastic washer is in place on middle hinge upper post, Raise middle hinge up
so that post fits into hole on bottom of upper door.
- Insert previously removed middle hinge screw. Tighten both middle hinge screws.
12. Install lower door as follows:
- Slide plastic washer onto middle hinge lower post. Insert middle hinge lower post
into top hole in door.
- Insert the lower hinge post into the bottom of the door.
- Use the two previously removed hex head screws and 10 mm hex nut and metal washer to
attach the lower hinge bracket to the cabinet base.
13. Screw one leveling foot through the hole in the lower hinge bracket into the cabinet base.
Screw the other leveling foot into hole on other side of cabinet base.

9. Retire los dos tapones de orificio de la bisagra central del panel divisor entre los
compartimentos superior e inferior. Vuelva a colocar los tapones en los agujeros
en el otro lado del panel.
10. Utilice los dos tornillos de cabeza hexagonal que se quitaron anteriormente
para sujetar la bisagra intermedia al panel divisor.
11. Instale la puerta superior de la siguiente manera:
- Retire los tornillos de cabeza hexagonal más cercanos al poste inferior de la bisagra
central. Afloje ligeramente el otro tornillo. Mueva la bisagra hacia abajo.
- Deslice la arandela de plástico en el poste del soporte de la bisagra superior. Inserta
el poste en el agujero en la parte superior de la puerta superior.
- Asegúrese de que la arandela de plástico esté en su sitio en el poste superior de la
bisagra central. Levante la bisagra del medio hacia arriba para que el poste encaje
en el orificio en la parte inferior de la puerta superior.
- Inserte el tornillo de la bisagra central previamente extraído. Apriete ambos tornillos
de la bisagra central.
12. Instale la puerta inferior de la siguiente manera:
- Deslice la arandela de plástico en el poste inferior de la bisagra central. Inserta el
poste inferior de la bisagra central en el orificio superior de la puerta.
- Inserte el poste de la bisagra inferior en la parte inferior de la puerta.
- Use los dos tornillos de cabeza hexagonal retirados previamente y la tuerca
hexagonal de 10 mm y la arandela de metal para fijar el soporte de la bisagra
inferior a la base del gabinete.
13. Atornille un pie de nivelación a través del orificio en el soporte de la bisagra
inferior en la base del armario. Atornille el otro pie de nivelación en el orificio del
otro lado de la base del armario.
