Please read these instructions carefully before using this
product, and save this manual for future use.
This teleconverter can be used by attaching to a
compatible lens and a digital camera that complies with
the Leica Camera AG L-Mount specification.
0 Compatible lens: S-R70200 (As of May 2019)
0 Do not attach any parts other than a compatible
lens. Doing so may damage the unit or the lens or
adversely affect its performance.
0 When a compatible lens and this unit are attached
to a digital camera, a message may be displayed
that says that the lens cannot be used. If this
occurs, update the firmware of the lens to the latest
version.
0 When updating the firmware of the lens, remove this
unit.
0 For the latest information on compatible lenses, or to

∫ Handling of this unit
0 When using this unit, take care not to drop, bump,
or apply undue force to it. Doing so may cause
malfunction or damage to this unit, the lens, and
the digital camera.
0 Soiling on the surface of the lens of this unit (water, oil,
fingerprints, etc.) may impact image quality. Before and
after use, lightly wipe the lens with a soft, dry cloth.
0 When not in use, attach the lens cap and lens rear cap
to prevent dust and dirt from adhering to or entering the
unit.
0 To protect the contact points of the unit, do not do the
following. These may cause malfunction.
– Touch the contact points.
– Soil the contact points.
– Place with the contact points down.
∫ Dust and splash resistant

The dust and splash resistant of the unit will not
prevent the entry of dust or water droplets
completely. Take the following precautions to
provide satisfactory dust and splash resistant
performance. If the unit is not working properly,
consult the dealer or Panasonic.
– Attach to digital cameras and lenses that are dust
and splash resistant.
– When attaching or removing the unit, ensure that
sand, dust, and water droplets cannot get onto the

– If liquid gets on the unit, wipe it off with a dry soft
cloth.
0 To improve the dust and splash resistant performance
of the unit, a lens mount rubber is used in the mount.
– The lens mount rubber will leave scuff marks on the
digital camera mount, but this does not impact
performance.
– For information on changing the lens mount rubber,
contact Panasonic.
∫ Condensation (when the lens is fogged up)
0 Condensation occurs when the ambient temperature or
humidity changes. Please be careful, as it may cause
lens stains, mold and malfunction.
0 If condensation occurs, turn off the digital camera and
leave it for approx. 2 hours. The fog will disappear
naturally when the temperature of the digital camera
becomes close to the ambient temperature.
0 The appearance and specifications of products
described in this document may differ from the actual
products you have purchased due to later
enhancements.

∫ To remove the teleconverter
1 While pressing the lens
release button on the
digital camera A, rotate
the teleconverter and

Note
0 While using the teleconverter, the maximum aperture of
the lens becomes one step darker.
Cautions for Use
0 Do not allow insecticides or volatile substances to
get onto the unit.
– This can cause deformation of the casing or peeling
of the coating.
0 Do not aim the unit at the sun or strong light
sources.
– The concentrated light may cause fire or damage.
0 Do not directly touch the unit when using it for long
periods in cold temperatures.
– Skin burns may result if you leave the metal parts of
the unit in direct contact with the skin for long periods
of time in cold places (environments with
temperatures at or below 0 oC (32 oF), such as ski
resorts). Use gloves or similar for prolonged use.
0 When cleaning, use a soft dry cloth that does not
produce dust.
– Do not use solvents such as benzine, thinners,
alcohol, kitchen cleansers, etc., as this can cause
problems such as deformation of the casing or
peeling of the coating.
– Do not use wipes with chemicals.
0 Do not keep products made of rubber or vinyl in contact
with the unit for a long period of time.
0 Do not disassemble or alter this product.
0 When not using for long periods of time, we
recommend storing together with a desiccant (silica
gel).

Limited Warranty Coverage (For USA Only)
If your product does not work properly because of a
defect in materials or workmanship, Panasonic
Corporation of North America (referred to as “the
warrantor”) will, for the length of the period indicated on
the chart below, which starts with the date of original
purchase (“warranty period”), at its option either (a) repair
your product with new or refurbished parts, (b) replace it
with a new or a refurbished equivalent value product, or
(c) refund your purchase price. The decision to repair,
replace or refund will be made by the warrantor.
During the “Labor” warranty period there will be no
charge for labor. During the “Parts” warranty period,
there will be no charge for parts. This Limited Warranty
excludes both parts and labor for non-rechargeable
batteries, antennas, and cosmetic parts (cabinet). This
warranty only applies to products purchased and
serviced in the United States. This warranty is extended
only to the original purchaser of a new product which was
not sold “as is”.

FURNISH A SALES RECEIPT/PROOF OF PURCHASE

Panasonic Warranty
1.
Subject to the conditions of this warranty Panasonic or its Authorised Service Centre will perform necessary service on
the product, without charge for parts or labour, if in the opinion of Panasonic the product is found to have a
manufacturing defect within one (1) year or (12 months) (the “warranty period”) from the date of purchase appearing
on your purchase receipt.
2. This warranty only applies to Panasonic products purchased in Australia and sold by Panasonic Australia, it’s Authorised
Distributors, or Dealers, and only where the products are used and serviced within Australia or its territories. Warranty
cover only applies to the services that are carried out by a Panasonic Authorised Service Centre and only if valid proof
of purchase is presented when the warranty service is requested.
3. This warranty only applies if the product has been installed and/or used in accordance with the manufacturer’s
recommendations (as noted in the operating instructions) under normal use and reasonable care (in the opinion of
Panasonic). The warranty does not cover damage, malfunction or failure resulting from use of incorrect voltages,
incorrect installation, accident, misuse, neglect, build-up of dirt or dust, abuse, maladjustment of customer controls,
mains supply problems, thunderstorm activity, infestation by insects or vermin, tampering or repair by unauthorised
persons (including unauthorised alterations), exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions, or any foreign object or
matter having entered the product.
4. This warranty does not cover the following items unless the fault or defect existed at the time of purchase:
(a) Consumable parts
(b) Cosmetic parts
(c) Worn or damaged parts
(d) Information stored on Hard Disk Drives, Optical Discs, USB Devices, SD Cards, Tapes
(e) DTV reception issues caused by TV Aerial / Cabling / Wall socket(s)
5. Some products may be supplied with Ethernet connection hardware. The warranty is limited on such products and will
not cover:
(a) Internet and or DLNA connection / setup related problems
(b) Access fees and or charges incurred for internet connection
(c) Incompatible software or software not specifically stipulated in the product operations manual; and
(d) Any indirect or consequential costs associated with the incorrect use or misuse of the hardware, its connection to
the internet or any other device.
6. To claim warranty service, when required, you should:
Contact Panasonic’s Customer Care Centre on 132 600 for Service Centre information.
Confirm the opening and acceptance times with the Authorised Service centre that you choose.
Then send or take the product to a Panasonic Authorised Service Centre together with your proof of purchase
receipt.
Any freight and insurance costs associated with the transport of the product to and/or from your nearest
Authorised Service Centre must be arranged and paid for by you.
7. The warranties hereby conferred do not extend to, and exclude, any costs associated with the installation, de-
installation or re-installation of a product, including costs related to the mounting, de-mounting or remounting of any
screen, (and any other ancillary activities), delivery, handling, freighting, transportation or insurance of the product or
any part thereof or replacement of and do not extend to, and exclude, any damage or loss occurring by reason of,
during, associated with, or related to such installation, de-installation, re-installation or transit.
Panasonic Authorised Service Centres are located in major metropolitan areas and most regional centres of Australia,
however, coverage will vary dependant on product. For advice on exact Authorised Service Centre locations for your
product, please telephone our Customer Care Centre on 132600 or visit our website and use the Service Centre Locator.
In addition to your rights under this warranty, Panasonic products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be
excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure with the product, you can reject the product and
elect to have a refund or to have the product replaced or if you wish you may elect to keep the goods and be compensated
for the drop in value of the goods. You are also entitled to have the product repaired or replaced if the product fails to be
of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If there is a major failure in regard to the product which cannot be remedied then you must notify us within a reasonable
period by contacting the Panasonic Customer Care Centre. If the failure in the product is not a major failure then Panasonic
may choose to repair or replace the product and will do so in a reasonable period of time from receiving notice from you.

∫ Manipulation de cet appareil
0 Lorsque vous utilisez cet appareil, veillez à ne pas
le faire tomber, le cogner ou appuyer trop fort
dessus. Dans le cas contraire, cela pourrait
endommager ou causer le dysfonctionnement de
cet appareil, de l'objectif et de l'appareil photo
numérique.
0 Les salissures sur la surface de la lentille de cet
appareil (eau, gras, empreintes de doigt, etc.) peuvent
avoir une incidence sur la qualité de l'image. Avant et
après l'utilisation, essuyez délicatement la lentille avec
un chiffon doux et sec.
0 Lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé, mettez en place le capuchon
d'objectif et le capuchon d'objectif arrière pour
empêcher la poussière et la saleté de coller à l'appareil
ou de pénétrer à l'intérieur de celui-ci.
0 Pour protéger les points de contact de cet appareil, ne
faites pas les choses suivantes. Cela pourrait causer
un dysfonctionnement.
– Toucher les points de contact.
– Salir les points de contact.
– Poser l'appareil sur les points de contact.

Résistance à la poussière et aux éclaboussures
0 La résistance de l'appareil n'empêchera pas
complètement la pénétration de la poussière ou
des gouttes d'eau. Respectez les précautions
suivantes pour que les performances de résistance
à la poussière et aux éclaboussures soient
satisfaisantes. Si l'appareil ne fonctionne pas
correctement, contactez le revendeur ou
Panasonic.
– Installez-le sur des appareils photo numériques
et des objectifs qui résistent à la poussière et aux
éclaboussures.
– En installant et en retirant l'appareil, veillez à ce qu'il
n'y ait pas de sable, poussière, gouttes d'eau sur le
caoutchouc de la monture de l'objectif et les points de
contact, dans l'appareil photo numérique, sur
l'objectif ou cet appareil.
Élimination des équipements usagés
Applicable uniquement dans les pays membres de l’Union
européenne et les pays disposant de systèmes de recyclage.
Apposé sur le produit lui-même, sur son
emballage, ou figurant dans la documentation qui
l’accompagne, ce pictogramme indique que les

– Si du liquide se retrouve sur l'appareil, essuyez-le à
l'aide d'un chiffon doux et sec.
0 Pour améliorer les performances de résistance à la
poussière et aux éclaboussures de l'appareil, un joint
en caoutchouc est intégré dans la monture de l'objectif.
– Le joint en caoutchouc de l'objectif laisse des
marques sur la monture de l'appareil photo
numérique, mais cela n'a aucune incidence sur les
performances.
– Pour en savoir plus sur le remplacement du joint en
caoutchouc de la monture de l'objectif, contactez
Panasonic.
∫ Condensation (lorsque l’objectif est embué)
0
Il y a formation de condensation lorsque la température
ambiante ou le taux d'humité change. Faites attention,
car cela pourrait créer des taches, de la moisissure et
causer un dysfonctionnement.
0 En cas de condensation, mettez l'appareil photo hors
marche et laissez-le ainsi pendant environ 2 heures. La
buée disparaît naturellement lorsque la température de
l’appareil photo numérique se rapproche de celle
ambiante.
0 L'apparence et les spécifications des produits décrits
dans ce document peuvent être différentes de celles
des produits que vous avez réellement achetés, en
raison des améliorations apportées ultérieurement.

tournez celui-ci dans le
sens de la flèche jusqu’à
la butée, puis retirez-le.
Nota
0 Durant l'utilisation du convertisseur télé, l'ouverture
maximale de l'objectif est plus sombre d'un pas.
Précautions d’utilisation
0 Ne permettez pas que des insecticides ou des
substances volatiles se posent sur l’appareil.
– Cela pourrait causer une déformation du boîtier ou le
décollement du revêtement.
0 Ne pointez pas l'appareil vers le soleil ou des
sources intenses de lumière.
– La lumière concentrée peut causer un incendie ou
des dommages.
0 Ne touchez pas directement l'appareil lorsqu'il est
utilisé pendant de longues périodes à de froides
températures.
– Des brûlures cutanées peuvent survenir si vous
laissez longuement les parties métalliques de
l'appareil en contact direct avec la peau

– Bringen Sie das Produkt an Digital-Kameras und
Objektive an, die staub- und
spritzwassergeschützt sind.
– Achten Sie beim Anbringen und Entfernen des
Produkts darauf, dass Sand, Staub und
Wassertropfen nicht auf den Objektivfassungsgummi
oder die Kontaktpunkte und nicht in die
Digital-Kamera, das Objektiv oder dieses Produkt
gelangen können.
– Wenn Flüssigkeit auf das Produkt gelangt, wischen
Sie es mit einem trockenen, weichen Tuch ab.
0 Zur Verbesserung des Staub- und
Spritzwasserschutzes ist ein Objektivfassungsgummi
am Bajonett angebracht.
– Durch das Objektivfassungsgummi kommt es zu
Schleifspuren an der Digital-Kamera. Dadurch wird
die Leistung jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt.
– Für Informationen zum Austausch des
Objektivfassungsgummis wenden Sie sich bitte an
Panasonic.
∫ Kondensation (Beschlagen des Objektivs)
0
Kondensation tritt auf, wenn sich
Umgebungstemperatur oder Luftfeuchtigkeit ändern.
Seien Sie vorsichtig, da dies Ablagerungen am
Objektiv, Schimmelbildung und Funktionsstörungen
verursachen kann.
0 Wenn Kondensation auftritt, schalten Sie die
Digital-Kamera aus und warten ca. 2 Stunden lang. Die
Kondensation hört von selbst auf, wenn sich die
Digital-Kameratemperatur an die
Umgebungstemperatur annähert.
0 Das Erscheinungsbild und die technischen Daten der
in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen
Produkte können aufgrund von Weiterentwicklungen
vom tatsächlichen Produkt abweichen.

0 Bei Verwendung des Telekonverters wird die maximale
Blendenöffnung des Objektivs um eine Blendenstufe

Condensación (cuando las lentes están empañadas)
0 La condensación se produce cuando la temperatura
ambiente o la humedad cambia. Tenga cuidado con la

объектива и заднюю крышку объектива, чтобы
