The inverter motor, which is directly connected to the tub, minimizes energy loss and produces little noise and vibration.

Should you experience any technical difficulty with your washing machine, it has the capability of transmitting data by phone to

the Customer information Center, The call center agent records the data transmitted from your machine and uses it to analyze

the issue, providing a fast and effective diagnosis (Refer to page 37).

Regaular cleaning of the tub on a monthly basis using TUB CLEAN can help keep the tub clean and fresh.

Safely and conveniently secure the door slightly ajar with the magnetic door plunger This will promote air circulation and allow

the interior of the machine to dry. To use this feature, after the load has been removed, de not close the door completely

When the magnetic door plunger comes into contact with the metal washer cabinet, it will secure the door slightly open

allowing the interior of the washer to dry.

The large capacity stainless steel drum offers extreme durability and is tilted to improve efficiency and allow easier access for

accumulated hydrogen gas As the gas is flammable, do not

• Do not install or store the washer where it will be exposed

Checking and choosing 1"he proper Iocafion

Install the washing machine on a solid floor that is strong and

rigid enough to support the weight of the washing machine,

even when fully loaded, without flexing or bouncing. If the

floor has too much flex, you may need to reinforce it to make

it more rigid If the floor is not solid, it may cause severe

vibration and noise

Clean the floor before installation.

Two or more people are needed for moving and unpacking

the washing machine

Allow for sufficient space between the walls and the

washing machine for installation.

You must allow sufficient space for water lines, the drain line,

• The floor must be strong and rigid enough to support the

weight of the washer, when fully loaded, without flexing

or bouncing. If your floor has too much flex,

you may need to reinforce it to make it more rigid

A floor that is adequate for a topdoading washer may not

be rigid enough for a front loading washer, due to the

difference in the spin speed and direction if the floor is

not solid, your washer may vibrate and you may hear and

feel the vibration throughout your house.

• Before installing the washer, make sure the floor is clean

dry and free of dust, dirt, water and oils so the washer

feet can not slide easily. Leveling feet that can move or

s]ide on the floor can contribute to excess vibration and

noise due to poor contact with the floor

• If a drip pan must be used, take extra care to follow the

instructions provided with the drip pan and make sure

the leveling feet are adjusted for firm and even contact

Unpacking and removing shipping bolt"s

When removing the washer from the carton base, be sure to

remove the foam drum support in the middle of the carton

base

If you must lay the washer down to remove the base

packaging materials, always lay it carefully on its side

Remove the bottom two shipping bolts with the wrench

(included) to fully loosen all four shipping bolts by turning

them counterclockwise and then pulling them out.

Locate the four hole caps included in the accessory pack

and install them in the shipping bolt holes

• Save the bolt assemblies for future use. To prevent

damage to internal components, DO NOT transport the

washer without reinstalling the shipping bolts

Failure to remove shipping bolts and retainers may

cause severe vibration and noise, which can lead to

permanent damage to the washer. The cord is secured

to the back of the washer with a shipping bolt to help

prevent operation with shipping bolts in place.

Connecting the water lines

Check the rubber seals on both sides of the hose

- Insert a rubber seal into the threaded fittings on each

hose to prevent leaking

4 Connect the hoses to the water inlets tightly by hand and

then tighten another 2/3 turn with pliers.

- Connect the blue hose to the cold water inlet and the red

hose to the hot water inlet.

water faucets tightly by hand and then tighten another 2/3

turn with pliers.

water faucets to flush out foreign substances (dirt, sand or

Leveling fhe washing machine

The washer tub of your new washing machine spins at very

high speeds. To minimize vibration, noise, and unwanted

movement, the floor must be perfectly level and solid.

1 Check the washing machine's level

- Check the precise level by rocking the top edges of

the washing machine or placing a level on the washing

machine The slope beneath the washing machine must

net exceed 1°, and all four leveling feet must rest firmly

on the floor

Precautions for fabric care before wash cycle

Read and observe the following to prevent shrinkage or damage to clothes.

• Check all pockets to make sure that they are empty

-Items such as clips, matches, pens, coins, and keys can

damage both your washer and your clothes

• Close zippers, hooks, and drawstrings to prevent these

items from snagging or tangling on other clothes.

• Pretreat heavily stained areas before washing

- Doing so will produce clean, stain-free results.

Using detergent/fabric softener

Recommended defergenf

Make sure to use HE (High-Efficiency) detergent for front-

loading washing machines. HE detergents dissolve more

efficiently and produce fewer suds to ensure efficient washing

and rinsing. Use the correct amount of detergent as indicated

on the label of the detergent packaging.

efficiently to improve washing and rinsing performance,

Use less detergent for soft water

the finish and the control panel of the washing machine

Using too much detergent can cause a build-up in the

tub resulting in unsatisfactory performance and machine

malfunction.

If you use a detergent that does not dissolve easily or a

detergent with high viscosity, it will leave a residue on

the tub, which may net rinse properly.

Loading the dispenser

The detergent dispenser drawer of the washing machine has

a dispenser compartment for each detergent type, Add the

appropriate detergents into its respective compartments

Since the detection system is detecting the WEIGHT of

the load, it will be affected by unusually heavy articles

in the load. For example, a garment that is already wet

that is loaded with other items will cause the LOAD

message will generally blink every 1N2 months.

If you live in an area with hard water, mineral scale can form

on the internal components of the washing machine. Take

extra care to periodically clean the mineral buildup on the

internal components to extend the lifespan of the washing

machine.

Check if the descaler is suitable for cleaning the washer tub

before using it and run the TUB CLEAN cycle. See page 29,

La limpieza regular del tambor, una vez a] mes, utilizando TUB CLEAN ayudara a mantener el tambor limpio y fresco.

Mantenga la puerta ligeramente abierta de manera segura y conveniente utilizando el retenedor magnetico Esto ayudara con

la circulaci6n del aire y mantendra fresco el interior de la maquina. Para utilizar esta funci0n, despues de remover la carga, no

cierre la puerta completamente. Cuando el retenedor magnetico entre en contacto con el metal de] gabinete de la lavadora, se

mantendra la puerta ligeramente abierta permitiendo que se seque el interior de la unidad.

Este aparato debe ser conectado a tierra. En el case de descompostura o mal funcionamiento, la conexion a tierra reduce el desgo

de recibir una descarga electrica al proveer una via de mener resistencia a la corfiente electrica. Este aparato esta equipado con

Instale la lavadora sobre un suelo con la resistencia y rigidez

suficiente para soportar el peso de la maquina, incluso con

la carga cempleta, sin que se flexione o rebote Si el suelo

tiene una flexibilidad excesiva, quizas deba reforzarse para

hacerla mas rigida. Si el suelo no es resistente, puede causar

vibraciones y ruidos intenses

Lea y cumpla con las siguientes instrucdones para evitar que la ropa se encoja o se da_Se

• Revise redes los bolsillos para asegurarse de que esten

vacios

- Articulos como clips, cerillos, plumas, monedas y llaves

pueden danar su lavadera o sus prendas.

• Cierre las cremalleras, ganchos y cordones para prevenir

que estos articulos se enganchen o enreden en otras

prendas.

Realice un pretratamiento de las areas mas sucias antes del

lavado.

• Combine prendas grandes y peque_ias en una carga Cargue

• Las prendas grandes no deberan ser mas de la mitad de la

Agregue el detergente liquido o en polvo a este

compartimiento cuando se usa la opcion de Prewash

(prelavado). Use siempre detergente tipo HE (Alta eficiencia )

con su lavadora.

Si usted va utilizar detergente liquido para el lavado

principal y va agregar la opci6n de prelavado, la cajita de

detergente liquido debe ser usado en el compartimiento

del lavado principal para evitar que el detergente liquido

de lavado principal se dispense inmediatamente.

La cantidad de detergente agregado para la opcion de

prelavado debe ser la mitad de la cantidad para el ciclo

de lavado principal Per ejemplo, si el ciclo de lavade

principal requiere una medida de detergente, anada

media medida para la opcion de prelavado.

Una vez finalizado el ciclo, limpie la puerta y el interior de la junta

hermetica de la puerta para eliminar la humedad Deje la puerta

abierta para secar el interior del tambor. Limpie el cuerpe de la

lavadera con un trapo seco para eliminar la humedad.

• Desenchufe la lavadora antes de limpiar la misma para evitar

el riesgo de descargas electricas. Si no se cumpie con esta

Alerta aui'orn_fica para la limpieza de ia lavadora

Cuando se enciende lalavadora y se parpadea el mensaje

tcL, significaque el tambor de la lavadora necesita set

limpiado UtilicelaLIMPIEZA DEL TAMBOR. La alertade

indicaci6nautomatica para lalimpieza del tambor depende

en lafrecuencia de use, pero el mensaje generalmente

parpadeara cada I-2 meses.

Si vive en un area con agua dura, puede acumularse lacal

en los componentes internos de la lavadora.Debe tenet

cuidado de limpiarperi6dicamente lasacumulaciones de cal

en los compenentes internos para prolengar lavida utilde la

lavadora.

Compruebe si el descalcificador es adecuado para el tambor

antes de utilizarlo y realizar el ciclo de LIMPIEZA DEL

TAMBOR. Consulte la pagina 32, Limpieza del tambor, para

Si deja detergente en el cajon dispensador durante un

Extraiga el cajon diapensador de detergente.

2 Presione con fuerza el boton para desenganchar el cajon

dispensador de detergente y extraigalo.

bemba de desagQe esta ebstruide. Limpie peri6dicamente el
