Instructions for Use
1. Plug adaptor into 120 volt AC outlet and plug the receptacle end in to
the input jack located along the side of the massage mat.
2. Lay the massage mat out completely on a flat surface.
3. Body Massage: Lie on the massage mat. Activate the body massage
by pressing the MASSAGE button.
4. Neck Massage: Lie on the massage mat with your neck in the neck
massage cradle (Figure 1). Activate the neck massage by pressing
the NECK button. You may adjust the area of your neck being
massaged by adjusting your neck position in the cradle. You may also
adjust the feeling of the massage by varying the position of the two-
way pillow or using additional pillows. The angle of the neck and
massage mat will vary the massage feeling. Choose what is most
comfortable for you.
NOTE: You may use the neck and body massage together or
separately. Please see page 6 for a more detailed explanation of
the hand control functions.
5. Two-Way Pillow: This massage mat includes a two-way pillow. You
can place it over the neck cradle (Figure 2) for greater comfort when
you do not want to use the neck massage function. Or you can place
it under the massage mat to prop up your head and neck (Figure 1).
Having your head and neck propped up may be more comfortable for
you when resting and it can also affect the feel of the neck massage.
Choose the position that is most comfortable for you. You may also
choose not to use the pillow at all. The pillow attaches to the back of
the massage mat and may be removed and reattached as desired.
3. Softening Pad: This massage mat includes a softening pad so you
can lessen the intensity of the neck massage if you choose. To use
the softening pad, place it in the neck cradle (Figure 3). You may also
choose not to use the softening pad at all. It attaches to the back of
the massage mat and may be removed and reattached as desired.
Automatic Shut Off
We’ve designed this massage mat for convenience and safety. As a
special precaution against falling asleep while using the unit, or leaving
the unit on while it’s still in operation, we’ve programmed it to automatically
stop massaging 15 minutes after receiving your last command.
To reactivate the massage mat, simply press any button.
Any time you change massage functions, the timer will reset. This
special feature should not be considered as a substitute for OFF.
Always remember to turn your unit off when not in use.
Maintenance
To Fo l d This massage mat incorporates a unique strapping system
that allows you to fold the unit for storage and transportation. Bring the
top and bottom sections of the mat together to meet in the middle.
Then pull the outside straps, sewn to the back of the mat, around the
unit and snap the plastic fasteners in place (Diagrams A-C).
To Store Place massager in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place.
Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed objects which might cut or
puncture the fabric surface. To avoid breakage, do not wrap the power
cord around the unit. Do not hang the unit by the controller cord.
To Clean Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning.
Clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge. Never allow water or any
other liquids to come into contact with the unit.
• Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/
furniture polish, paint thinner to clean.
• Do not attempt to repair the massage mat. There are no user
serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the HoMedics address
listed in the warranty section.

Please Note: For safety, this product is equipped with a pressure activated
switch to control the heat function. Heat will not operate unless pressure is
applied to this switch, located between the second and third sets of
massage points. Once pressure is removed, heat will turn off. After applying
pressure, please allow 5-10 minutes for heat to reach maximum temperature.

HoMedics, Inc., guarantees this product free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original purchase,
except as noted below.
This HoMedics product warranty does not cover damage caused by
misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized
accessory; alteration to the product; or any other conditions whatsoever
that are beyond the control of HoMedics. This warranty is effective only if
the product is purchased and operated in the USA. A product that
requires modification or adaptation to enable it to operate in any country
other than the country for which it was designed, manufactured,
approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these
modifications is not covered under warranty. HoMedics shall not be
responsible for any type of incidental, consequential or special damages.
All implied warranties, including but not limited to those implied
warranties of fitness and merchantability, are limited in the total duration
of two years from the original purchase date.
To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, either hand deliver
or mail the unit and your dated sales receipt (as proof of purchase),
postpaid, along with check or money order in the amount of $5.00
payable to HoMedics, Inc. to cover handling.
Upon receipt, HoMedics will repair or replace, as appropriate, your
product and return it to you, postpaid. If it is appropriate to replace your
product, HoMedics will replace the product with the same product or a
comparable product at HoMedics’ option. Warranty is solely through
HoMedics Service Center. Service of this product by anyone other than
HoMedics Service Center voids warranty.
This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have
additional rights which may vary from state to state. Because of individual
state regulations, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not
apply to you.

Instrucciones de uso
1. Enchufe el adaptador en un tomacorriente de 120 voltios de CA y el
extremo del receptáculo en la ficha de entrada ubicada sobre el lado del
colchón masajeador.
2. Coloque el colchón masajeador sobre una superficie completamente
plana.
3. Masaje corporal: Acuéstese sobre el colchón masajeador. Active el
masaje corporal presionando el botón MASSAGE (masaje).
4. Masaje de cuello: Acuéstese sobre el colchón masajeador y coloque su
cuello sobre el cojinete de cuello (figura 1). Active el masaje de cuello
presionando el botón NECK (cuello). Puede ajustar el área de su cuello
que recibirá masajes ajustando la posición de su cuello en el cojinete.
También puede ajustar la sensación del masaje, variando la posición de
la almohada reversible o utilizando almohadas adicionales. El ángulo del
cuello y del colchón de masajes variará la sensación del masaje. Elija la
más cómoda para usted.
NOTA: Puede utilizar el masaje de cuello y de cuerpo juntos o
separados. Sírvase ver la página 6 para obtener una explicación más
detallada de las funciones de control manual.
5. Almohada reversible: Este colchón de masajes incluye una almohada
reversible. Puede colocarla sobre el cojinete de cuello (figura 2) para
mayor comodidad cuando no desee utilizar la función de masaje de
cuello. O puede colocarla debajo del colchón de masajes para levantar
su cabeza y cuello (figura 1). Tener la cabeza y cuello levantados puede
resultarle más cómodo cuando descansa, y también puede afectar la
sensación del masaje de cuello. Elija la posición más cómoda para
usted. También puede elegir no utilizar la almohada en absoluto. La
almohada se adjunta a la parte trasera del colchón de masajes, y puede
quitarse y volver a adjuntarse según lo desee.
3. Almohadilla amortiguadora: Este colchón de masajes incluye una
almohadilla amortiguadora, para que usted pueda reducir la intensidad
del masaje de cuello si así lo desea. Para utilizar la almohadilla
amortiguadora, colóquela sobre el cojinete de cuello (figura 3). También
puede elegir no utilizar la almohadilla amortiguadora en absoluto. La
almohada se adjunta a la parte trasera del colchón de masajes, y puede
quitarse y volver a adjuntarse según lo desee.
Apagado automático
Hemos diseñado este colchón de masajes en forma conveniente y segura.
Como precaución especial para no quedarse dormido mientras usa la
unidad, o dejar la unidad encendida mientras está todavía en
funcionamiento, hemos programado el sillón para que deje de hacer
masajes automáticamente 15 minutos después de recibir su último
comando. Para reactivar el colchón de masajes, símplemente presione
cualquier botón. Cada vez que cambie las funciones de masajes, el
cronómetro volverá a cero. Esta característica especial no debe ser
considerada como un sustituto del apagado. Siempre recuerde apagar su
unidad cuando no la esté usando.
Mantenimiento
Para plegar Este colchón de masajes incorpora un sistema de correas
exclusivo que le permite plegar la unidad para almacenarla y transportarla.
Junte las secciones superior e inferior del colchón de modo que se unan en
el medio. Luego tire de las correas exteriores, cosidas a la parte trasera del
colchón, alrededor de la unidad, y presione los sujetadores plásticos para
colocarlos en su lugar (diagramas A-C).
Para guardar Coloque el masajeador en su caja o en un lugar
seguro, seco y fresco. Evite el contacto con bordes filosos u objetos
punzantes que puedan cortar o perforar la superficie del material que lo
recubre. Para evitar roturas, no envuelva el cable de corriente alrededor de
la unidad. No cuelgue la unidad del cable del controlador.
Para limpiar Desenchufe la unidad y deje que se enfríe antes de
limpiarla. Limpie únicamente con una esponja suave, apenas humedecida.
Nunca permita que el agua ni otro líquido entre en contacto con la unidad.
• No sumerja la unidad en ningún líquido para limpiarla.
• Nunca utilice limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos, gasolina, querosén,
limpiador de vidrios o lustramuebles para limpiar.
• No intente reparar el colchón masajeador. No hay piezas que necesiten
servicio. Por servicio, envíe la unidad a la dirección de HoMedics que se
detalla en la sección de garantía.

encienda. Para apagar el
masaje corporal, simplemente
presione el botón MASSAGE
(masaje) hasta que el
indicador LED se apague.
Puede ajustar la intensidad
del masaje del mismo modo.
Hay tres opciones de
intensidad de masaje: bajo
(L), medio y alto (H). Para
cambiar la intensidad del
masaje corporal, simplemente
presione el botón MASSAGE
otra vez hasta alcanzar la
intensidad que desee.
Masaje de cuello
Este botón activa un masaje
relajante con rodillos para el
cuello. El indicador LED se
iluminará y confirmará su
selección. El colchón de
masajes estará en la posición
bajo (L) cuando lo encienda.
Para apagar el masaje de
cuello, simplemente presione
el botón MASSAGE (masaje)
hasta que el indicador LED se
apague.
Puede ajustar la velocidad del
masaje de cuello del mismo
modo. Hay dos opciones:
bajo (L) y alto (H). Para
cambiar la velocidad del
masaje de cuello,
simplemente presione el
botón NECK (cuello) otra vez
hasta alcanzar la velocidad
que desee.

Interruptor activado a
presión
Atención: Para su seguridad, este producto está equipado con un
interruptor activado a presión que controla la función de calor. El calor no
funcionará a menos que se aplique presión sobre este interruptor, ubicado
entre el segundo y tercer conjunto de puntos de masaje. Una vez que se
quita la presión, el calor se apaga. Después de aplicar presión, deje entre 5 y
10 minutos para que el calor alcance su temperatura máxima.
ADVERTENCIA
No apriete ni fuerce ninguna
parte de su cuerpo (por
ejemplo, manos, cuello,
pies, etc.) en el mecanismo
de masaje de cuello. Sólo se
debe ejercer una fuerza
suave contra la unidad para
eliminar cualesquiera y
todos los riesgos de
lesiones. Puede suavizar la
fuerza del masaje usando la
almohadilla amortiguadora
que se incluye.
