Universal Flange Is Ready To Install
Instructions:
1. The log lighter gas valve must be in the OFF position.
2. Remove the existing valve flange by unscrewing in a counter-clockwise direction.
3. Add an optional decorative flange trim ring by slipping it over the new Universal Flange
shank before completing the final installation.
4. Install the new flange using the threaded bushing if the thread size matches the original
flange. If it does not match, remove the bushing prior to completing the final installa-
tion.
5. Loosen the set screw using the set screw wrench provided. Screw the flange and trim
ring assembly onto the gas valve to the desired length and retighten the set screw.
Purchase of a matching or contrasting decorative universal gas valve key (3: or 8: as
needed) can complete the final desired custom look for your home.
Select a decorative matching or contrasting Décor Series Trim Ring for a custom, enhanced
finished appearance.
