INSTALLATION/INSTALLATION

Keep regular intervals.
This refrigerator is designed for free standing only.
Avoid direct sunlight or heater
Never install the unit near water.
Install on a stable, level surface.
For personal safety, this appliance must be properly
grounded.
- Leave a space of 50mm between refrigerator back and
wall behind.If your refrigerator is going into a recessed
area in the wall,allow at least 250mm or more clearance
above the refrigerator.
- This refrigerator should not be recessed or built in.
- As plastic and electrical components are affected by
direct heat,never place the unit near cookers, radiators
or in places exposed to direct sunlight.
- Normal room temperature is recommended.
- Avoid locations which may be affected by water or
dampness as this will impair the efficiency of the insu-
lation.
- Make sure it is placed on a flat, level surface,othewise
this appliance is liable to make a noise.
- This refrigerator should not be grounded with telephone
line, gas pipe,etc.

CAUTIONS WHILE USING / PRECAUCIONES DE USO.

Do not use the appliance if it is not operating correctly
or has been damaged. Disconnect it from the mains
supply and call your local service center.
Be careful not to splash water on the back of the refri-
gerator to use it in safety.
Avoid leaving the door open any longer than necessary
as this will impair the efficiency of the unit , making it
more costly to run.
Do not use flammable sprays such as lacquer and paint
near the refrigerator, because there is a possible danger
of ignition.
Do not put volatile chemicals such as ether and benzene
in the refrigerator, because there is a danger of explosion.
Don't allow children to hang on the door.
-The insulation of the electric parts will be impaired by water.
-Children should not be left alone or unattended in an area
where the appliance is in use. They may be hurt and could
damage the refrigerator.
If the power is damaged, avoid a hazard by replacing it
through the manufacturer or its service agent .

PREPARATIONS FOR USE/ METODO INICIAL DE USO.
EN: All of the following should be satisifed when tested in the following order. If not, check electricity supply. When cause of
trouble can not be located, contact your dealer.
ES: TODAS LAS OBSERVACIONES SIGUIENTES DEBERAN CUIDARSE EN EL ORDEN DESCRITO, EN CASO DE NO OPERAR EL EQUIPO,
REVISE LA ALIMENTACION DE ENERGIA, SI CONTINUA EL DESPERFECTO, CONTACTE CON SU CENTRO DE SERVICIO AUTORIZADO.
EN:
1. Place all parts, shelves, bins etc in their proper positions.
They have been removed for transportation.
2. Clean refrigerator and parts to remove dust incurred
in shipping and packing.
3. Set cold contrlo knob at "MAX" position and let refrige-
rator operate for one hour. Freezer compartment should
get slightly chilled and motor should run smoothly with
no noise but a soft hum.
4. Store food after the temperature in the refrigerator gets
sufficiently low. It takes a few hours after starting the
refrigerator to reach the proper temperature.
5. Your refrigerator is operated by a compressor which
switchs "on and off " to maintain the internal temperature.
When the compressor is new it requires running in for a
period of up to 2 months.
During this period it may operate a little noiser than
normal. This is quite normal and does not represent a
fault.

1. Siempre que desplace su equipo y lo coloque de lado,
situacion no recomendable, permita que el equipo repose
un dia para evitar desperfectos mayores.
2. Coloque todos los componentes interiores en su lugar.
3. Limpie el refrigerador y sus partes para retirar el polvo
acumulado.
4. Al conectar su equipo y abrir la puerta del refrigerador,
la luz interior debera encender.
5.Coloque la perilla de control de temperatura en HIGH
( mas frio ) y permita operar por una hora. El congelador
debera encontrarse ligeramente escarchado y el motor
operar silenciosamente.
6.Coloque alimentos una vez que el refrigerador adquiera
una temperatura normal de refrigeracion, ajuste el control
a su gusto.
7. Su refrigerador enciende y apaga un compresor para
enfriar sus alimentos y requerira de un periodo de dos
meses aproximadamente para operar aun mas
silenciosamente.

EN: The nearer to 1 the dial setting,the warmer
the temperature will become.
.................Use when small quantities of foods are
stored.

EN: To maintain the optimum food storage condition
set the control dial at 4 position.

ES: Para mantener la temperatura optima,ponga el

EN: The nearer to MAX the dial setting,the colder

.................When large quantity of foods are stored.
.................To speed-up ice-marking,set the dial at
MAX position.

EN: Set the dial at DEF or OFF position with the
door opened.
.................After about 40 minutes, the frost on the
surface of the evaporator will begin to
melt and can be easily removed.

OFF y deje abierta la puerta.
.................Al cabo de unos 40 minutos, el hielo en
la superficie del evaporador se derretira
y podra quitarlo facilmente.

freezer compartment.And close the freezer cover

TO MAKE ICE CUBES / COMO HACER MIELO
EN: Fill the ice tray with water to about 80% capacity.
ES: Coloque agua en la hielera hasta el 80%
aproximadamente de su capacidad.
EN: Slide the ice tray into the freezer compartment.
ES: Deslice la hielera en el congelador.
EN: When you want to make ice cubes rapidly,
the thermostat should be set at MAX .
ES: Cuando desee realizar hielos rapidamente,
coloque el control en MAX .
EN: Hold both ends of the ice tray, remove the
ice cubes from the tray by twisting it gently.
Do not bend the ice tray or it will crack.
ES: Sujete ambos extremos de la hielera y tuerzala

HOW TO DEFROST
Empty freezer. / Vacie el congelador
EN: Remove all contents of the refrigerator and freezer.
Set the temperature control to "OFF"./
Ajust el control de temperatura a OFF.
EN: With the refrigerator door opened, set the temperature
control to "OFF" . In 30 to 40 minutes, the frost on the
freezer wall will begin to melt and can be easily removed.
ES: Con la puerta del congelador abierta coloque el control a
OFF. En 30 o 40minutos la escarche comenzara a
desprenderse y podra ser retirada facilments.
Do not use sharp objects./
No emplee objetos punzo cortantes.
EN: If the frost is forced off with a knife or a screwdriver,
the surface of the freezer if could become damaged or
punctured .If a hole develops , the refrigerator could
leak and the result could be the inability of the
refrigerator to operate properly.

STORAGE AND CLEANING/COMO GUARDAR LOS ALIMENTOS
TO STORE FOOD EFFICIENTLY / PARA ALMACENAR ALIMENTOS EFICIENTEMENTE.

Do not load your refrigerator or freezer with hot food.
Allow sufficient time for cooling.before storing hot
food in the refrigerator or freezer.
It saves energy consumption and for freezing time.
Cover moist foods with tight lids plastic containers or
wrapped in vinyl film. It prevents smell from soaking
in the refrigerator.
Be sure not to store bottles such as beer, cokes, etc.in
the freezer compartment.
Do not overload your refrigerator or freezer with a lot
of foods.
This refrigerator is not suitable for storing scientific
items or medicines.

- Wipe with a damp sudsy cloth, then dry completely.
- For stubborn stains use non-abrasive kitchen clearance.
- Wash all compartments with a baking soda solution (two
tablespoon of baking soda to one quart of warm water).
Rinse and dry.
- Wash compartment shelves, door shelves etc.
With either the baking soda solution or a mild detergent
and warm water. Rinse and dry.
-Wash with warm sudsy water,rinse throughly and dry.
- To take out the drip water tray slide it out at a down-
ward slant, Clean it once in a month.
- It it is not inserted properly,water will not evaporate.
Or it will cause unusual vibrating noises.
- Insert all parts to proper location and set "Temperature
control dial" to desired setting.

-Limpie todos los espacios de su refrigerador con una solu-
cion de bicarbonato de sodio y agua(dos cucharadas sop-
eras en un litro de agua tibia).Enjuague y seque.Evite us-
ar detergentes,generan malos olores en el compartimento.
PARTES INTERIORES:
-Lave las parrillas,y partes removibles con una solucion de
bicarbonato de sodio o detergente suave y agua tibia .
Enjuague seque.
GOMAS MAGNETICAS:
-Lave con agua jabonosa, enjuague completamente y
seque.
CHAROLA DE AGUA DRENADA DE EVAPORACION:
-Para retirar la charola de evaporacion colocada en la parte
posterior del equipo,levante la charola y jale. Limpiela una
vezalmes.
-Si la charola no se encuentra insertada correctamente,
llena o si la charola no puede evaporizer la humedad,
provocara ruidos y vibraciones.
ITOQUE FINAL:
-Coloque todos los componentes en su lugar y ajuste el
control de temperatura.

- Check if there is electrical power to equipment
- Check if the homefuse is broken or circuit brokedown.
- The refrigerator control dial "on".
- Revise si el equipo cuenta con la alimentacion electrica
adecuada.
- Revise la csja de fusibles de su red electrica.
- El control de temperatura del equipo se encuent en ON?
- Check if control is set properly.
- Check if the door has been open for a long time.
- Have you recently added a large quantity of food?
- Revise si el control de temperatura se encuentra en
su nivel usual.
- Cuide no dejar la puerta abierta durante periodos
prolongados.
- Coloco demasiados alimentos en el refrigerador?
- Check if the unit is installed in a firm place or not.
- Is shelving or storage loose inside the unit?
- Is evaporating tray inserted properly?
- Revise si el equipo se encuentra instalado en un
lugar firme.
- Se encuentra alguna parte del interior de los
compartimentos mal colocada?
- Se encuentra la charola de evaporacion correctamente
colocada?

MAINTENANCE / SITUACIONES EVENTUALES

When out of operation for a long time .
When you get ready to move
Power failure
- Remove all food and disconnect the power supply cord.Dry your refrigerator, opening the door for
2-3days.
- Securely fasten removable interior parts (or remove and package them separately).
- Do not place your refrigerator horizontally, or compressor may be damaged.
- You should keep the door closed. while the power is off .

CUANDO DEJA DE OPERAR EL EQUIPO DURANTE UN PERIODO LARGO DE TIEMPO
AL MUDAR SU EQUIPO.
FALLA DE ENERGIA.
- Retire todos los alimentos y desconecte el cable de alimentacion electrica. Permita secar su
refrigerador dejando la puerta abierta de este durante2o3dias.
- Sujete adecuadamente las partes interiores de su refrigerador (o retirelas y empaquelas por separado).
- No coloque su refrigerador horizontalmente, el compresor puede danarse.
- Al cambiar su equipo de lugar, permita que repose un dia para evitar desperfectos.
- Reduzca la cantidad de apertura de puertas mientras la interrupcion de alimentacion (en caso de
interrupciones solo de una a dos horas).
- En periodos largos de interrupcion de la alimentacion, cuide el estado de sus alimentos congelados.
Intente conservar sus alimentos en hielo.
