Before using, please read this assembly manual, and use this product in a safe and proper manner.
* Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
If this symbol is ignored and the equipment is used improperly, fatal injury to
persons or serious damage could occur.
Do not let small children assemble or set up this product by themselves, or they may be injured. Always assemble this
product with adult supervision.
Be careful with the edges of the Cymbal Holders and the Tom Holders. The sharp holder ends may result in injury.
If this product is used with a Rack System or Cymbal Stand, make sure all bolts are tightened firmly. Also, when adjust-
ing the height or angle, do not suddenly loosen the bolts. Loose bolts may result in the rack overturning or parts drop-
ping, causing injury.
Always set the product on a flat and solid surface. Placement on a sloping, unstable surface or on steps may result in
the product being unstable and subject to overturning.
Do not alter the product. Doing so may result in injury or damage/deterioration to the product.
Do not sit or step on the rack. The rack may overturn or be damaged, resulting in injury.
CAUTION
If this symbol is ignored and the equipment is used improperly, there is a dan-
ger or injury to persons handling the equipment, and material damage could
occur.
Watch your fingers when adjusting clamps. They may become pinched, resulting in injury.
Be careful around pipe ends, inside the pipe and screw ends. Metal shavings, etc. may injure your fingers.
Do not attach acoustic drums to the electronic drum rack. Clamps may be damaged and drums may drop, causing
injury.
NOTICE
Do not step on or place heavy objects on the product. It may result in damage.
Do not use or keep the product in places with extremely high temperature (places in direct sunlight, close to a heater,
in a closed car, etc.) or high humidity (bathroom, outside on a rainy day, etc.). Doing so may result in deformation,
discoloration, damage or deterioration.
When cleaning the product, do not use benzine, thinner or alcohol as it may result in discoloration or deformation.
Please wipe with a soft cloth or a damp cloth that has been wrung out thoroughly. If the product is soiled or sticky, use
a neutral detergent on a cloth then wipe with a damp cloth that has been wrung out thoroughly to remove any remain-
ing detergent. Also pay close attention so as not to let the water and detergent come into contact with the cushions
used in the product; doing so may result in deterioration.

After opening up the package containing your electronic drum rack, please verify that all of the follow-
ing components are present.

1. Lay the main frame down on a solid, level surface and loosen the screws in clamps q and w using the
tuning key.
2. Loosen the bolts on clamps q, w, and e and move the clamps all the way down to the center strut.
Following this, lightly tighten the clamp bolts.
3. Take the left arm from the package and loosen the screw in clamp r using the tuning key.
Assembling the Rack
NOTE
The tuning key can be found in the pad set package.
The left and right arms look very alike, but the left arm is longer. Take care not to mix them up when
assembling the rack.

4. Push the left arm as far as it will go into clamp q on the main frame.
When inserted, ensure that the arrow sticker ( ) on the left arm is lined up with the slit in clamp q.
5. Securely tighten the screw in clamp q using the tuning key.
6. Take the left leg from the package and push it as far as it will go into clamp r.
7. Securely tighten the screw in clamp r using the tuning key.
The left and right legs look very alike, but the left leg is shorter. Take care not to mix them up when
assembling the rack.

8. Take the right arm from the package and push it as far as it will go into clamp w.
When inserted, ensure that the arrow sticker ( ) on the right arm is lined up with the slit in clamp w.
9. Securely tighten the screw in clamp w using the tuning key.
10. Loosen the bolt on clamp t.
11. Take the right leg from the package and insert it into clamp t.
When inserted, ensure that the right leg protrudes from the clamp by approximately 7 cm.
12. Securely tighten the bolt on clamp t.

13. Lift up the main frame and open up the left arm, the right arm, and the snare arm.
14. Securely tighten the bolts on clamps q, w, and e.
15. Check all bolts and screws once again and ensure that they are tightly fastened.
CAUTION
Do not open up the rack’s left and right legs any more than shown in the figure below. Failure to observe
this precaution can lead to the rack toppling over and causing injury.

1. Loosen the bolts on the following seven clamps (A to G) and rotate or move the clamps to the positions
shown below. Following this, securely tighten all of the bolts to lock the clamps in place.
• One snare clamp (A)
• Three tom clamps (B, C, and D)
• Two cymbal clamps (E and F)
• One drum module clamp (G)

To m clamp D should be moved but not rotated. (All other clamps are rotated.)

2. Attach a tom holder to each of the three tom clamps.
2-1. Loosen the bolt on the tom clamp.
2-2. Insert the tom holder.
2-3. Securely tighten the bolt on the tom clamp.
3. Attach a cymbal holder to each of the two cymbal clamps.
3-1. Loosen the bolt on the cymbal clamp.
3-2. Insert the cymbal holder.
3-3. Securely tighten the bolt on the cymbal clamp.
CAUTION
Take special care with tom holders as they have sharp tips that could cause injury.
NOTE
When tightening the bolt, ensure that the black sleeve is positioned inside the clamp’s mounting hole and securely held.

4. Attach the snare holder to the snare clamp.
4-1. Loosen the bolt on the snare clamp.
4-2. Insert the snare holder.
4-3. Securely tighten the bolt on the snare clamp.
The rack is unstable even though placed on a level surface.
Check whether the arrow stickers are lined up with the slits in the clamps. (See Step 4 and Step 8 of
Assembling the Rack on pages 6 and 7, respectively.) If they are not, loosen each of the clamp bolts,
adjust the arms to align the arrow stickers with the slits, and then retighten the bolts.
CAUTION
Take special care with the snare holder as the rod has a sharp tip that could cause injury.
If going on to assemble a Yamaha electronic drum kit, please refer to the Assembly Manual booklet
that came with your pad set.
